FIRE RED EXPANDED is a mid-effort hack (patch) of Fire Red that adds/replaces encounters in routes, changes up some trainer fights and makes important battles more fun and overall tougher. Plus, Bulbasaur and Squirtle are instead replaced with Treecko and Totodile, and Charmander is still there; did that just so it's a different experience. NOTE: When patching, make sure to use the Squirrels version of Fire Red to play the hack. I have no idea what would happen if you used a regular Fire Red ROM, the game might as well just break, i actually have no idea Anyway uhh have Fun lol

These are Pokemon FireRed savefiles which contain a compilation of legit event Pokemon for the Generation 3 games (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen). These savefiles have been in development by several ProjectPokemon members since April 2016, but has been hosted exclusively on another website. As of now, these savefiles will be concurrently hosted on ProjectPokemon as well. The Genaration III Pokemon games had a ton of events, many of which are extremely hard to obtain today. The Gen III games predate any sort of internet trading, and the event Pokemon from this generation have often been migrated up to newer Pokemon games. These factors make it quite hard to find legitimate event Pokemon for Gen III. The only way we can expect to obtain more event Pokemon for Gen III is if others share their save/pk3 files, so please consider sharing if you happen to have some! To learn more about Pokemon events in Generation 3, you can look over the following pages: List of English event Pokémon distributions in Generation III List of Japanese event Pokémon distributions in Generation III List of Journey Across America event Pokémon distributions List of Party of the Decade event Pokémon distributions List of PCNY event Pokémon distributions in Generation III List of Gather More Pokémon! Campaign event Pokémon Pokémon Colosseum Bonus Disc ----- The main savefile contains the following event Pokemon in each box: Box 1 & 2: 10th Anniversary (Europe, Top 10 Distribution) + Aura Mew Here we have a full set of all European 10th Anniversary Pokemon, each of the ten Pokemon in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The OT for each language is as follows: 10ANNIV (ENG), 10JAHRE (GER), 10ANNIV (FRE), 10ANNI (ITA), 10ANIV (SPA) These Pokemon were selected through a poll and later distributed at various locations in 2006 for the "Top 10" event throughout Europe to celebrate 10 years of Pokemon. We also have a full set of Aura Mew distributions from Europe, each in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. OT is the same for each language. Aura Mew was distributed at various locations in August 2007 throughout Europe. Note: The English 10ANNIV distribution rom and English Aura Mew distribution rom have been released to the public. Unlike the English 10ANNIV, the English Aura Mew will distribute all five languages of Aura Mew. Due to legality reasons, the roms can not be shared here, but a simple Google search should help. Box 1: 10th Anniversary (Europe), Part I Charizard (x5, one of each language) Pikachu (x5, one of each language) Articuno (x5, one of each language) Raikou (x5, one of each language) Entei (x5, one of each language) Suicune (x5, one of each language) ----- Box 2: 10th Anniversary (Europe), Part II + Aura Mew Lugia (x5, one of each language) Ho-Oh (x5, one of each language) Latias (x5, one of each language) Latios (x5, one of each language) Aura Mew (x5, one of each language) ----- Box 3 & 4: 10th Anniversary (United States, JAA + PotD Top 20 Distributions) Here we have both full sets of United States 10th Anniversary Pokemon. One set was distributed at the "Journey Across America" event, and one at the "Party of the Decade" event. Both sets are nearly identical, though have different Trainer IDs. JAA has the TID 00010, and PotD has the TID 06808. JAA has an extra distribution that makes this set unique, that being Celebi. PotD has a unique Pikachu that differs from the JAA counterpart, due to knowing the move Fly. Stations in the New York Pokemon Center between 2003 and its closing in January 2005. These PCNY sets are incomplete, however we have a good portion of them. Some of the Pokemon distributed here also were poorly documented, so we have some PCNY events that aren't listed on Bulbapedia. 5. Introduction Hi, I'm DarkRisingGirl & This is POKEMON Dark Rising. This is my 2nd attempt to complete a full hack with a new epic story, new characters, and a new region. I've always felt the Pokemon series needed a much stronger impact with story-telling & that's what this hack is all about. Within the hack(look to features for more information) you'll encounter pokemon from all 5 generations, the newest attacks, a brand new deep storyline evolving many characters with actual emotions compelling them to move foward, and last but not least, 2 regions with 16 badges & 1 final boss included. I thank you all for playing, I hope you enjoy! ^.^ The Adventure The Story begins in a dream. A Pokemon suddenly appears and chooses you, a young boy/girl, to save not only it, but the world itself. You awake asking yourself questions. Deciding to ignore the dream for now, you step out into your home town known as Fells in the Core Region. Your best friend, who also had the same dream, stops you at the front door to inform you of an emergency message from the town's Professor. When you encounter the professor, he quickly informs you of the disasters and climate changes occuring all over the Core Region. His workers in panic, he asks you to visit the delivery station and pick up a package for him from Prof.Oak. As you set out on this simple task, you encounter a mysterious girl who appears to know knowledge of the dream you've had about a creature name DARUGIS. After recieving the package, a powerful pokemon is within you and your friend, Pete, sight. Eager to test your early skills against a powerful pokemon, you quickly engage in a battle with it. The pokemon uses it's powerful winds, easily defeating your pokemon and knocking you out in the process. After awakening in your room, you see Pete and your mother patiently waiting for your recovery. You soon begin to realize this is the start of a journey into many mysteries and powerful pokemon you can't wait to challenge. Characters: Screenshots: Fan-Made Titlescreen: Fan Made Box-Art: Features: The game starts off in the Core Region & later, the Omni Region. 386 Pokemon from regions Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, & Unova, all appear in both. There will be 16 badges in all. Each gym leader will have his/her own signature Pokemon that is not obtainable in the game. All Original Characters & Trainers, including some fan favorites from the anime such as: Ash Ketchum Misty Brock Aside from the anime favorites, Yami Yugi from the YUGIOH Series will also have a short apperance in the hack as a Gym Leader. There will be newer generation moves. Some to note are Shadow Claw, Roost, Scald, & plenty more. DW Abilities (Yes that includes the overused fan favorites of Drizzle Poliwag, Drought Vulpix, & Speed Boost Torchic.) All Pokemon will learn some of their best egg moves from gen 3-5 by level up instead of breeding. (Serebii.net Pokedex was used for this information.) Inside every pokemon center, there's a Nurse Joy & Doctor Roy. Doctor Roy will be the one to heal your POKEMON. Nurse Joy will be next to him and challenge you to a double battle along side Doctor Roy. This is helpful for exp points. Support Us! 6. Hi, this is my first post to this forum (and any forum in general lol) so I hope I'm doing this right. A few days ago i ordered a copy of Fire Red from Amazon to complete a game from each set of games and I looked over some stuff to find out if it was fake following getting it and it looked like kt was almost certainly real. Reading the listing again as well as numerous other things (like the game locking up for maybe a second or 2 while saving and the "the save file is ok" message at the start up) it said it was a 'reproduction', fake, obviously. But looking over it, it seems like a really solidly doen fame to the point where the cartridge looks damn near identical and the listing said in the description it was a reproduction, not hiding it. So if anyone has a copy like this, could you please tell me how your experience with it was. Did it do the typical 'erase after defeating Lance/Blue' like many fakes are known to do. Could it transfer to DPP/HGSS? Thanks in advance cause I wanna know before I dedicate some time to this game only for it to get erased after defeating Blue.

  9. In fire red there are flags for “defeat voltorb” and “defeat electrode”. I’ve noticed that the “defeat voltorb” flags are for the electrode in the power plant but I don’t know what the “defeat electrode” flags are for. I noticed one was checked around seafoam island and the other after I finished Lostelle and the Hypno. Does anyone have an idea? If this question has been asked before can anyone lead me in the right direction? I haven’t found anything yet.
  10. The game is Pokémon SORS, a rom hack based on fire red. Briefly explain what happened: I accidently added 50 master ball into my bag without noticing. (via a cheat software) After 2 days of playing, I noticed that these 50 master balls were storied in HM/TM case, instead of balls' bag. Now every time I use a TM, the game is gonna crash. I tried to use A-Save and PKXDelta to remove the item but then the game would say this save file is corrupted and force to restart a new run. If i use PKHeX to fix the checksums, the game still says the save file is corrupted but it will run the backup save. Can anyone help me with my save file? I have no idea what to do about it, I even tried to edit it with a Hex editor 1636 - Pokemon Fire Red (U)(Squirrels).sav ↑ Here is my save file after i tried to fix with PKXDelta. 1636 - Pokemon Fire Red (U)(Squirrels).sav ↑ This is the game save file without me doing anything to it. I have no experience on editing pokemon's save file, so im assuming that the rom hack changed the block structure of the backpack, and changed the memory location for ball bag into the HM case. So the only thing I needed to fix this problem is to remove the item I added to this block, but I have no idea how to locate this part in a hex editor
  11. Hi there, I have been trying to edit my EVs/IVs in PKHex just for fun, and then this happenned to my Pikachu for some reason I have no idea what I did, so I decided to start it over... 3 times, and this still keeps happening for whatever reason When I catch it, it's fine, but after playing for a little while, this changes out of nowhere It's only with Pikachu, all other mons I catch have no issue aside from the standard PID mismatch
  12. Good Morning! Can anyone tell me how I can inject the Pokemon Battle e with PkHex in my game of fire red? I just can't find the option or a tutorial on how to do it. Thanks!
  13. So I've injected a region-free cia of FireRed into my system, and it works fine (aside from the obligatory 'save file is corrupted' message that does nothing at all) But when I go to back it up via JKSM to do some editing, I get an error stating 'error opening save archive'. I tested with a USA version of LeafGreen, and got the same result, however the cias of Yellow and Crystal work just fine. I also have a cia of Emerald that I have yet to test, but I'd imagine it would get the same result. Is it something about the GBA games that messes things up? How can I fix it? EDIT: I managed to somehow get it backed up (through a slew of error messages) and got my editing done, but now I can't figure out how to import it back in. I probably just suck, and the solution is simple, but for the life of me I can't get Decrypt9 to cooperate. EDIT 2: Apparently the Decrypt9 error message means nothing, because it imports regardless. Well then. At least I know what to do now.

  15. HELP! Just injected a GBA rom of Pokemon FireRed as a VC cia to my o2DS, running cfw 11.6 and god mode 9. I've fixed the save error you get at the beginning of the game (but message still appears as per usual), and used gm9 to dump the save file to my SD card. I tried to open the save file (linked here) to edit using PkHex but I get this error message, and it just opens to my default save (pokemon sun). I've tried changing the file extension to .pk3, .sav (instead of .gbavc.sav) and even .pk7, but I still get the error. I was hoping someone would know a way of fixing this, or otherwise another way to edit my gba vc save. Cheers 00040000002DEE00.gbavc.sav
  16. I've played a few Soul Link's so far and every time I start my play session for the day it's always kind of an annoying process. Loading up 2 separate emulators, 2 roms, having to rekeybind the controllers every time. I was wondering if someone would be able to make a program that could make it easier. If your unfimiliar with a Soul Link Nuzlocke, heres the rules. 1- Any Pokémon that faints is considered "dead," and must be released or stored in a specified PC box for "dead" Pokémon. 2- You can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. 3- You must also nickname all of your Pokémon, for the sake of forming "stronger emotional bonds." 4- In a new area, the first encounters for both players will be, "linked," together until death. 5- If one Pokémon in a linked pair is placed in the PC, it's Soul Link partner must be placed in the PC as well. 6- If one Pokémon in a linked pair dies, it's Soul Link partner is considered dead as well. 7- If one player fails to capture their first encounter in an area, the second player must forfeit their encounter in their corresponding area. 8- Across both players parties, primary typings may not be repeated. Basically what I'm looking for is a program that emulates 2 roms side by side and be able to control them individually. I've thought of a few features to make it better. Features -Emulators from all consoles built in - Ex. VBA, Desmume, and Citra -Saves both roms under 1 "project" and loads them on the same side every time -Type Chart ready -Online Remote Play - Be able to join your friends session online to see and control one of the games. -Games connected locally so you can trade and battle -Database where you can input your linked pokemon pairs and where you caught them -Built in Pokedex Database (Not necessary but would be helpful) -Program reads both your teams and displays them between the game (I'm aware that's not an easy ask but if it's possible, why not) I feel like except for a couple of them this is a completely possible thing to create. I know it probably wont happen but I just thought I'd get the idea out there. I love doing Soul Links and I'm so happy people found a way to make Pokemon Co-op. Thanks for your time.
  17. Be patient, I am super green at this. Anyway, I got this shiny Charizard I looked on RNG to generate via Pkhex on my FireRed Rom. Specs: Timid, Shiny--IVs: 31//31/26/31/30/31 (I want this to be my starter not an egg) Whenever I put the data on Pkhex, it looks like the Pokemon is legal. However, when I try to set it on my party box, it's like the program uncheckes the shiny characteristic. RNG tells me it's a shiny Pokemon with literally the exact same specs. What do I do? Here is the screenshot from RNG with the data and the shiny mark (!!!) IMG_3271.HEIC Here is when I check for legality after putting all the specs in order and marking the shiny characteristic. IMG_3272.HEIC However, when I set up the Pokemon in my party box, Pkhex uncheckes the shiny characteristic. IMG_3273.HEIC You can see here all the stats are the same as the RNG report. HELP PLEASE!!! This page contains all publicly available savefiles that were dumped from original FireRed carts, which were used to distribute MYSTRY Mew by direct trade. The distribution took place at Toys R Us stores in the United States on 30 November 2006, for only three hours from 12 - 3 pm. Each savefile is credited to who supplied it online. The recently acquired savefile that provided the missing remainder of the boxed 420 Mews is credited to PP.org, for appreciation to the group effort of those that helped obtain and pay for it. The 426 individual .pk3 files can be found here.
  24. Does anyone know if there's a gen 3 save editor tool for firered and leafgreen which is able to view the roamer legendary beast's stats (suicune/entei/raikou)? I just thought if there's one as I'm trying to shiny hunt the roaming suicune on my leafgreen and looking for other ways of determining its stats without encountering it in the wild
  25. I had an idea to make a ROM edit, in hope that it'll be a good one for my first try. I've almost finished the long part on Advance map, and soon when I get back home I'll download advance text. But it's gonna be something similar to what you'd call an impossible mode. There will be a storyline of some sort, which i have a brief idea of, but it's not completely thought through yet.. But there are a few problems that i came across. One of which i have posted on ROM editing help.
