  2. Hello all, i already complete 50% of it and want to post information about it here Like tittle say it would be hack for Alpha Sapphire! What special about it? Well, you would see all pokemon it it! Wait... No, it's not auto randomaized! All pokemons in their first form can be catched in wild, what's more? Pokemons that not have evolutions would be there too (Like legends, Mystic...) 50% was about it compleate, now i would look on update and story part (or maybe i would not touch that) Oh, almost forgot... Pokemons that needs some stones for evolutions would have them (and mega stones too). Better try catch some pokemons many times, because they can have evolve stone and some times mega stone Want to look on ohara3ds and on models (but program not running on my pc...) Well, wait for it)
  3. Lately I have been messing with the ORAS demo, with RSWE, RSTE, and Ohana. I have managed to do some pretty interesting things, enough to make a public hack. But I don't know what exactly should I change. So the question is, what kind of romhack should I make for the ORAS Demo? I'm thinking of making some Pokemon ORAS: Funky Demo Version where everyone looks like a popstar, lol. See, I have bad ideas, so that's why I am asking the community.
  4. Because there is already a Pokemon Alpha Sapphire only hack called GBAlpha Sapphire. I decided to create a hack only for Omega Ruby called Nuclear Ruby. The hack is going to have: new mega (They are going to replace some forms of pokemon that change form with abilities) all moves are randomized all encounters are randomized all trainers are randomized and are harder to defeat no trade evolutions 1 super strong hidden mega edited trainer sprites and models random TM and move tutors randomized level-up moves some Pokemon evolve into Pokemon they should evolve into (but Gamefreak didn't do that) better marts I'm still working on the models and the game text. When you wanna help me just send me a message.

So I had a wild idea recently - a Pokemon Platinum ROM hack that would use very little from the original game - just the Pokemon, stats, typing (basic stuff, if ya get me), and the engine - and make the rest all unique. I'm thinking custom scripting, custom region that connects to every region from every Pokemon game from 5th gen and back. I basically want to make my own Pokemon game with Platinum as a base But here's the issue: I have absolutely no clue if it's even possible. If it is, I don't know where to start. So here's what I need from he community: 1) Is this possible? If so, go to 2; else, go to 4 2) What limitations would I have, if any? 3) What tools would I need to do this? (end list) 4) What would I need to make a fan game this massive? Keep in mind that I'm nearly broke Thank you!~
  6. This is a very simple hack idea, where the trainer (you) is a Mewtwo, rather than a human trainer. All sprites dealing with the player (trainer card, in-battle back sprite, overworld sprites including bicycle and surfing sprites) are going to be changed over to those of the in-game Mewtwo sprites. The scripts will be changed over to reflect you being both a Pokemon and a trainer. Examples include "Aren't you a cute Pokemon--AND a trainer, besides! Let's battle!" and "I've never faced a trainer who is also a Pokemon. This should be fun!" Trainers will also have kinder words when defeated. Examples include "Wow! Despite being a Pokemon, you are certainly a skilled trainer!" and "Being a trainer who is also a Pokemon does have distinct advantages, doesn't it? Good job!" As a young Mewtwo, you are naturally very intelligent and also quite curious about EVERYTHING. You quickly learn all there is to learn at your home laboratory (your "mom" is actually the scientist who created you, but she's very nice toward you and nurtures your burgeoning adventurous spirit), and therefore are asked to seek further "education" by adventuring all over Johto and Kanto, in hopes of achieving your full potential. Of course, along the way, you'll meet Professor Elm, who will tell you "two Pokemon are better than one", and offer you a choice of three starter Pokemon (the same Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile normally available), and he'll ask you to walk with them, rather than hold them in a Pokeball all the time. Naturally, you think this is the coolest thing ever--being able to help train a fellow Pokemon, and be able to TALK to them (yes, as a Mewtwo, you'll be able to understand what the other Pokemon are saying). UPDATE: I've already ported over two of Mewtwo's HG/SS walking sprites onto the player trainer's walking/standing sprites. I've even created additional sprites for the player's standing sprites (normally, your walking Pokemon is always moving, as if walking in place; therefore there are no actual standing sprites for it). Additional tweaks to the rom will include having the Fly command available from the start (and is one of your default moves), and also being able to access the PC system at any time (by pressing START). Yes, I know that Mewtwo isn't normally capable of learning Fly (or Teleport, for that matter? What gives? The guy's PSYCHIC!), but I will have him be able to do so to make navigating throughout the in-game world easier (and faster). Of course, you'll still have to actually walk to places you wish to fly to later (in a sense "adding" them to your Town Map).

  8. The intent of this is to make a number of Pokemon more viable for use for the entire game, intended for the Neo XY & RR/SS mods. The only changes are to stats & abilities, so the Pokemon can easily be loaded as regular legal mons (all else being equal) simply by loading the game without Hans (using an Ability capsule). The distribution will be the files for stats & moves. The RR/SS patch will begin with the RR/SS hold item changes. I keep forgetting to post this and I don't even have the time to test this out, but when hacking a ROM, if you set fully evolved Pokemon to evolve to themselves at level 100, would they then be considered "NFE" thereby making eviolites give them Def/SpDef boosts? I haven't done any ROM hacking/editing in a while, but I know you can change the way Pokemon evolve and choose what they evolve into. If someone can test this out, it should theoretically work on both Black/White(2) and XYORAS. Otherwise, I guess you could set them to evolve to a dummy 'mon (Mewtwo evolves to Caterpie at level 50). Let me know if this works for anyone
  10. Hey guys I have an idea for a Dragon themed rom hack where all pokemon have two types, one of them Dragon, and you have to become the champion dragon tamer or something like that. I want to use the pokemon system but diverge completely from the story, maybe even stop calling it "Pokemon"! I haven't really planned it out yet but I need someone to help me with it. Today I have started work on a rom hack of OR\AS called Pokémon Inverted. The main Feature is that most pokemon will be able to "invert" into other Pokémon (EX holding your 3ds upside down will evolve Ditto into Mew... Yes this actually works, try it when this gets released.). The starter Pokémon are also different. [ATTACH=CONFIG]13497[/ATTACH] As of now the rival's starter Pokemon is determined by what gender you choose (EX: Male gives you Eevee as the rival's starter and female gives you ditto) Some Pokemon can mega invert, boosting their stats or giving them different properties (EX: Ditto holding a metronome gives you a stronger ditto) The levels of wild pokemon have also been raised and you have a 1% chance of encountering a legendary pokemon in every route. The normal starters can also be caught in the wild. ScreenShots Check List Title screen 50% ( Need a better logo image, also want to change the background. Heard it was possible) Model/Texture Swap 0% ( Will do as soon as I figure out Ohana3ds. Model swaps and questionable character proportions are planned) Inverts 10% (Very rough estimate, almost every pokemon is planned to invert at one point. New type Chart 50% ( small edits are being made, like normal being weak to dragon and fairy being not very effective on bug) Move changes 100% ( Changed transform to "Forced Invert" and made it dark type) Battle Text 99% (Need to change transform in the battle dialogue to "Forced Invert") OV Text 1% (Will mainly be small edits, like edgy memes and reworded text) Icon and banner 100% ( Not much to say here, The banner is 2d for now) Download When the release comes there will be a patch for hans, .3ds, and .cia. The cia build had already been tested to work, It was derived from a romfs, which was made into a .3ds so I can assume those work as well.   12. I have an idea for a ORAS hack that's similar to TyranitarTube's alpha sapphire extreme randomizer. And by Similar, I mean having the theme of shadow pokemon, but not just shadow ho-oh or lugia. Right now I have a gateway card, but it doesn't work(I think it's a factory error, and am getting a new one soon). So, I need people to help me with this. Also, I might need a different name for Rayless Ruby. thanks for reading :biggrin: (ALSO: I meant a not randomized version) UPDATE: I have started editing the files and have a new Gateway card, but I can't edit the ExeFS for some reason. If anyone knows how to, I'd appreciate the help. I've also started going through the garc files, changing things such as the title and the sprites of pokemon. I am going to probably edit the encounter tables to include some shadow pokemon, and also to include more pokemon in general. Another thing I am going to do is change is the evolutions, to give trade evolutions alternate evolutions that you can use instead, and to change some evolutions(not all) like friendship evolutions to be easier. I know I put a poll in the thread, but I will probably not make the clothes purple because that would make it seem like the main character is corrupted, but he/she isn't. UPDATE 2: I know this should probably be going in the progressing edits page instead of the rom edit ideas, but I have no clue how to move it. Also, I've lost the USB flashdrive that contained the files that I was . However, the only thing I actually did was the respriting of several shadow pokemon that are in the game. I plan to make more changes now that I figured out how to edit the ExeFS, and am also going to dedicate more of my time into editing it(before I dedicated most of my time to my youtube channel, but now Im going to spend more time doing this). Another change to note will be that I will definitely give shadow pokemon a slight, but noticeable stat boost, yet making them a rare incounter(2%-3% chance to find them, and only 1 every 3 or so routes, and each having a lower catch-rate). Now, because there are these good pokemon with higher stats, the games difficulty will be harder, and I plan to have the Elite 4 have lvl 70-80 pokemon on the first match. NOTE:Playing a nuzlocke of this game is definitely possible, but [unless you are really lucky,] you will probably not find many non-legedary shadow pokemon, which is one of the main parts of the game.   13. Simple explanation: the emerald equivalent of Roland's Perfect Platinum Why Culminating Emerald for the name? The Gen III regional dex has 202 Pokemon in it. 202 in hex is CE. Culminating means "at the peak of development." Culminating Emerald is CE. Essentially my idea for this ROM hack is a version of Pokemon Emerald where you: -catch all National Dex Pokemon (including events) --have some pokemon (such as Deoxys, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Groudon, maybe the Eon Duo, etc.) forced as shinies (if possible. I know it wasn't for Roland's PP mod, but this is a different game) -start with the National Dex -have a more balanced, fair game --have the second May/Brendan battle not be harder than Geometry Dash's Theory of Everything 2 level (seriously that fight's crazy) --dial down the leveling curve ---and maybe have a buffed version for the hardcores? You get the point. Now that you see what the mod would offer, hopefully you understand the choice of the word culminating - it's Emerald at its peak. Maybe someday this'll happen. I'd do it myself if I had the tools, time, knowledge, and patience, but I don't have those things per the situation. ~wundr

It will be the first fully Pokémon based 3DS ROM hack! The main purpose is to create every single Pokémon (721) as black and white spirits and models for a lovely new experience. I'll not change the story of the game BUT there comes something more which I do not disclose... Pokémon Changes: - every Pokémon will looks like black and white versions of the current version - shiny Pokémon becomes some lovely look - rarity of shiny Pokémon will become more common (It will not as hard to find them as in the normal game) - there will be some special changes on legendary Pokémon Protagonist Changes: - Brendan and May will become some fitted looks - All gym leaders, too...   15. Hey there. New here. Looking for feedback/suggestions, etc. [EDIT] Apparently at some point a Gen IV mod came out called Sun & Moon. So now maybe I need to change the names? You snooze for nine years, you lose, I guess. The sun and moon are actually hugely central to my plotline, so for now the working titles are Solar & Lunar. I've been sitting on an idea for a ROM mod since shortly after Gen III came out, but priorities changed and I left it in the dust until I picked up Pokemon Y recently and started playing again. So here's a quick rundown of my goals: Remake/retell the original Pokémon games with a cohesive and compelling story Present Team Rocket as a credible threat with believable motives Establish an internal cosmology using legendary and mythical pokémon as narrative focus [*]Add/redesign cities and landmarks in Kanto to accommodate a total of 18 gyms One for each type [*]Gradually ramp up difficulty to surpass traditional Pokémon games without starting at an increased difficulty level [*]Include a higher-than-usual but not complete list of catchable pokémon A complete list would be available between Sun and Moon, using breeding and evolution Evolution would include simulated in-game trades [*]Utilize day-night cycle dynamic Early versions of this plan had one game set in day and the other at night, (guess which was which!) because GBA emulators couldn't simulate a real-time clock At the time I originally conceived this, I was only planning to have 17 gyms, as Fairy didn't exist. There's also over 300 more pokémon now. Those pokémon don't serve any purpose for my narrative, but many of them have unique type combinations that could add some satisfying depth to the gameplay without further hacks that might be less intuitive to players. So my questions here today boil down to: Is Black 2/White 2 the best choice to mod from? There seem to be an abundance of resources available, with people making progress on 721 and Fairy imports. Will people be satisfied if I cherry-pick pokémon from across the generations, or will they expect commitment to either 386 or 721? My original plan was 386, but now there's a Ghost/Steel pokémon and that is SO COOL. Is there still enough interest in Gen III mods and enough supported resources to justify abandoning the expanded features of DS emulation? What do people consider excessive in terms of options? How much is too much for a mod to present to players? Can we emulate clocks now? I'm so behind the times! Thanks for your time. SCREENSHOTS: The project want to: 1) Fix correctly the 3 important items that are RAGE CANDY BAR, SLOWPOKé TAIL and BERSERK GENE, and put them in the right places. 2) Add the function to delete the pokégear numbers 3) Fix the places that have wrong musics respect the original Gold and Silver games (MT MOON for example in the remake have the music of JOHTO dungeon and not is right) 4) Fix the Game corner, with the right buildings, pepole and the function for buy coins. Restore also the COIN CASE in the Goldenrod Undergrounds. Move the fake Game corner into a new building. 5) Fix other censored texts. 6) Fix the Move tutors that will ask you shards instead of battle points. 7) Fix the obligation to battle with the legendary before the pokémon league. 8) Fix the obligation to have the first pokémon out from it's ball when you walk I have already done: Point 3, 4 (partially) 5 and I've found the script that come back a pokémon into it's ball. But maybe I need of a way to create a key item that switch a pokémon out from it's battle or inside. The point (4) it's partially because I've restored the COIN CASE, I've restored the original buildings of KANTO and JOHTO game corners, and moved the fake corner into a new building for maintain the Voltorb flip, but I don't know how copy the original slots from the uncensored japaneese rom of Soul Silver. I need of a way to: Restore the missing ITEMS (i've started an help thread for this: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?46137-Item-hacking-SS-HG) and put them into the 2 Mahogany markets Add the slot machines from the japaneese version without delete the Voltorb Flip, in the original Gold and Silver for the Game boy the games in the Game Corner we're 2, half game corner's machines play slots and the second half the cards game, with a little script I can ask 3 coins for play the Voltorb flip, only in the new building of the fake corner Voltorb flip will remain free, then will be a game corner better of the japaneese version of HG/SS. Add the function for delete the pokégear number. I know only the script string that add a number: Recordpokegearnumber 0x25 actually add Morty's number. If I knew the string that delete the number I could add a multichoice dialog for every trainer, that will ask you if you want to delete their numbers.

  18. Hey, I started to make this romhack that I'm planning to release publicly here. Pokémon: NeΩ Ruby and Pokémon: Aslαt Sapphire are romhacks of Pokémon:Omega Ruby and Pokémon:Alpha Sapphire. They are planned for being a little more difficult than the normal ORAS and the storyline has been slightly edited for make it more interesting and funny. Most of the trainer are edited,and the Pokémon encounters are randomized,but without random legendary encounters. Currently I'm working only for the NeΩ Ruby one,since I don't got any AS cartridge,but I will also make that sooner or later. Note:This is a work-in-progress so there won't be screenshots for now First Release: ??? Main Changes Pokémon Changes -Some Pokémon had their typing changed for a better fitting type. (ex.Haunter types are now Dark/Ghost) -Pokémon who evolves with trades can now evolve in other methods. -New Evolutions! Pokémon Encounters Changes -The encounters are totally randomized -Legendary won't appear randomly -All Hold Items are randomized,Pokémon that have a Mega-Evolution have a great chance of carrying their Mega Stones. -Because of the randomizer,Pokémon from other regions can be already caught at the start of the game Moves and Tutors -All TMs are edited. -Moves (such as TM and Tutors) that the Pokémon can learn are randomized. Trainer Changes -Trainers (beside rivals,Wally,Zinnia,Steven,Gym Leaders and Elite Four; those are just edited) have their Pokémon and Hold Items randomized with max AI value and level boosted by 35%. Mega-Evolutions -Many Pokémons that didn't had a M-Evolution previously now have it. Storyline -The storyline has been edited slightly for making it little more interesting and funny. -Delta Episode is now named "ChΔoS Episode" and main text of it are edited.   20. Hello Project Pokemon! I am currently developing a ROM-Hack called "Pokemon Alpha X" and "Pokemon Omega Y". These are ROM-Hacks of Pokemon X and Y. This hack will feature Brendan and May as the main playable characters and will (maybe) feature Team Magma and Team Aqua instead of dumb old Team Flare. Wallace will be the champion in X and Steven Stone will be the champion in Y. This hack WILL feature mega evolution's from oras as well. Primal Groudon and Kyogre will be mega's instead of Primal's (unless I can import the animation data). This hack will hopefully be completed by the end of this month or next month. Hi, after reading about a beta picture of Tyranitar in the Mobile Trainer ROM I found today that this cardrige have much more secrets to discover such as Odd Egg Event, GS Ball event or wallpapers for the cardrige (Celebi) or Pokemon Crystal, maybe we can dump the pokemon pictures?   22. I had an idea to make a ROM edit, in hope that it'll be a good one for my first try. I've almost finished the long part on Advance map, and soon when I get back home I'll download advance text. But it's gonna be something similar to what you'd call an impossible mode. There will be a storyline of some sort, which i have a brief idea of, but it's not completely thought through yet.. But there are a few problems that i came across. One of which i have posted on ROM editing help.
  23. this thought came to a couple of times when in black 2/white 2 there was a type of pokemon theatre thing that featured trainers as the pokemon and the pokemon as the trainers and once again in x/y where a npc in the game had an idea about how people could get closer to pokemon by also going in pokeballs. so i am wondering,is it possible to make a hack where a trainer could catch other trainers and use them as pokemon? if so that would be hilarious.:bidoof:

They've opened trade and travelling with Hoenn and recently reopened trade with Johto, allowing trainers to go from Kanto, to Johto, to Hoenn. With the new regions, Kanto has been brought to new heights. New Pokemon, New Abilities, and even two new Typings have been brought to the Kanto region! Story You are the adopted child of Pokemon Champions, Red and Brendan. You originally hail from Johto, being adopted by the Celebrity Husbands after two years of grueling paperwork on their part, and many teary eyes and temper tantrums from you. Eleven Years Later, you just celebrated your 15th birthday, and with that, you're finally receiving your starter Pokemon after five years of intense arguments in sign language. We probably all know that some types are objectively better or worse than others - so as a mental exercise I've tried to change the type chart and make every single type equally good, with the same amount of strong and weak points. I am aware that stats, Abilities, movesets and more are all elements that will still make some Pokémon better than others, but it's a step in the right direction. Now I'd love to see a rom edit of XY and/or ΩRαS that uses my new type chart. No other changes necessary, just modified type effectiveness. First of all, my thought process. Every existing type I gave points according to the following: STRENGTHS: - resisting a type = +1 point - being super-effective = +1 point - being immune = +2 points WEAKNESSES: - being hit super-effectively = -1 point - being resisted = -1 point - being immune'd = -2 points And here is what I found: STEEL — 15 strengths VS 7 weaknesses | Overall score: +8 FAIRY — 8 strengths VS 5 weaknesses | Overall score: +3 FIRE — 10 strengths VS 7 weaknesses | Overall score: +3 GHOST — 8 strengths VS 5 weaknesses | Overall score: +3 GROUND — 9 strengths VS 7 weaknesses | Overall score: +2 WATER — 7 strengths VS 5 weaknesses | Overall score: +2 FLYING — 8 strengths VS 6 weaknesses | Overall score: +2 ROCK — 8 strengths VS 8 weaknesses | Overall score: 0 DARK— 6 strengths VS 6 weaknesses | Overall score: 0 POISON — 7 strengths VS 8 weaknesses | Overall score: -1 ELECTRIC — 5 strengths VS 6 weaknesses | Overall score: -1 DRAGON — 5 strengths VS 6 weaknesses | Overall score: -1 FIGHTING — 8 strengths VS 10 weaknesses | Overall score: -2 ICE — 5 strengths VS 8 weaknesses | Overall score: -3 PSYCHIC — 4 strengths VS 7 weaknesses | Overall score: -3 NORMAL — 2 strengths VS 5 weaknesses | Overall score: -3 BUG — 6 strengths VS 10 weaknesses | Overall score: -4 GRASS — 7 strengths VS 12 weaknesses | Overall score: -5 Next was the difficult part - changing type effectiveness in a way that would make all type come to zero points, perfectly balanced. I tried for my changes to make as much sense as possible, though the results are debatable - and that's why I feel a hack is necessary. To test it out and see whether or not doing it this way would make the game more fair. Here it is: Potentially Perfect Type Chart Important: The below changes were the first version, see this post below for a revised one (link leads to the revised version). Other things to do in the hack would include: - changing the effectiveness of Flying Press accordingly; - make Scald a reverse Freeze-Dry? I mean, it would be weird if that attack was resisted by Ice; - no need to worry about Shedinja, no weaknesses were gained or removed from either Bug and Ghost type; - make sure Will-O-Wisp still hits Rock-types, despite the new immunity; - make sure Steel remains immune to poisoning as a status, despite losing the Poison-type immunity. - maybe change some related NPC dialogue? At least the Gym Guide Guy could be checked for possible lies.
