    Let's simmer down with the arguing guys. At least try to stay civil. Maybe a bit more than a one line post? And don't say "I heard" or whatever unless you can back it up...in which case, PP and Serebii and probbly every other game website has already posted it on their front page.

    It was "shut down" because PP is a new site. Now the forums let you upload files, including PKM files and all that good stuff. If you need a dime-a-dozen fan made event, it's probably somewhere in the Pokemon Requests forum.

    I got well into the 130s in Diamond on Single, and then in the 50s on everything else except Link Battles (never did it) and Wi-Fi battles (15 in a row is my record; and went as high as rank 5). But then you aren't doing it in any legit way. The best cheat to use is No Guard Ninjask with Sheer Cold.

    Quick Claw? They have legal stats. Though an abnormal amount of them after the second battle with Palmer have nearly all 31 IVs. Smogon's BT thread in their forums goes much more in depth about the AI and their Pokemon's stats.

    A Pokebeach web site member interviewed the guy who was the animation director for most of the last 10 years (currently a storyboard artist) and he admitted to what we all believed to be true: GS Ball was supposed to contain Celebi, but then Celebi was kept for a movie, so the GS Ball basically became an empty plot device to get Ash to Johto.

    NDS Phat sucks. The Lite includes screen brightness and is just overall better, and it's slightly harder to find Phat's now. However, there's more than just asthetic differences between DSLite and DSi. It's got memory storage to actually store stuff like music, and I've read that there will be a downloadable store. GBA games can't be played; however, outside of Pokemon and the Guitar Hero games, that doesn't matter. Gran a cheap Gameboy SP if that's important. The Lite is the better purchase now. In a year, DSi will probably be the standard.

    This sounds like one of those things you can call Gamestop and ask, since it may vary between different franchises/reigons and so on. But the current generation of video game consoles is a good couple years into it. So the previous gen (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) are probably being completely phased out, if they haven't already done so, with the possible exception of PS2 and it's games.

    The TLDR answer is that some event Pokemon might come back as hacked due to the checker not being manually updated to have that event in it as legal. Anyways, closing this. Use the questions thread in the future.

    I was originally part of a club over at the Serebii Forums where we intentionally asked for Pokes that were likely to be hacked so we could release or "destroy" them. It was fun for a while, but interest ultimately died down. I've yet to use the GTS at all in Plat, but I'm going to get going on it soon when I get my Wii set up, so I have Ranch to transfer stuff to.

    She uses Yanmega quite often. Wobbuffet has gotten some usage in Contests, but it's very much "de-powered" compared to the games. It doesn't show any trace of it's unique Shadow Tag ability, and without that, Wobbuffet loses power. It's really more of a Pokemon like Meowth, rather than a Pokemon she uses to battle with.

    It is not cool putting hacks on the GTS and letting people get them because they have no way of knowing of it's legality beforehand. Closing this. A "Discuss GTS Activities" thread would be good for discussion, but this isn't the way to do so.

    I remember way back in Gen II, incest was programmed into the games so that those two Pokemon won't breed. That was taken out in Gen 3. Hmm.

    It's 100% confirmed that D/P Korean cannot interact, in any way, with non-Korean games in any legal fashion. And unless Korean data (for the language) was added to the Japanese release, I doubt Korean Plat has data for other languages.
