  3. Well, it's hard to top Gen 1 because that's the first. You obviously can't be more original besides the initial batch. But Gen 1 had some duds too. Beedrill? Cmon. And if we actually go back to the Gen I games, they were so buggy and glitched that the abuse was ridiculous (if you KO with Hyper Beam, you don't have to rest). If Dragonite gets in one agility, you might as well say "gg". Or how broken Alakazam and Chansey were, or how critical hits were based on speed. (and I listed 5) I just honestly don't think that every game needs to be mind blowingly different. I mean, it's Pokemon. It has a built in amount of repetitiveness and crap like that. I'm fine with only having a handful of Pokemon that I enjoy from each gen, because...well, that's how each gen has been for me. As long as they add in some little changes, I'm fine. Wraith, you are correct about Swampert. It was largely seen, by anyone (in-game, competitive, or otherwise) as the BEST starter until Gen 4 came along. It's still pretty good with a fairly good typing, bulk, blah blah blah.
  4. Try the trade forum. Read the rules in there before you make a post/thread. And there's no reason you can't download the packages. You can make a code with Pokesav, load it into the AR, activate it, and they'll be there and be legal. So you can trade, or you can use the resources you have (AR+Pokesav) and download the legal versions that are in the events section or the individual PKM section.
  5. It is an actual threat to consider. Yes, cable news makes it seem like the end of the world. But people who are health care professionals are taking it seriously. A number of hospitals in my area are putting heavy restrictions on visitors, and some school districts have given their principals the authority to shut down the school if need be.
  6. I really disagree. The 4th gen has several great and unique Pokemon to choose from: A regional bird that doesn't suck (seriously, Pidgeot looks so cool, but it is not worth the effort to even use it in Gyms + E4). And Staraptor doesn't just not-suck, it's really good. TWO base 120 STAB attacks (Return/Brave Bird) and CLOSE COMBAT which just wrecks everything! And that's before adding in any TMs or egg moves. Staraptor rocks. The starters are pretty good too, except arguably for Torterra. Empoleon has that huge amount of resistancies, and Infernape has that ridiculous move pool. Togekiss [/end argument] Garchomp [/end argument]. STAB Dragon AND Ground, oh and 20% evasion in sand storm, and all that can paralyze it is Tri-Attack (good luck) or Stun Spore from some crappy bug. I'm not saying that these are all mind blowing revelations that'll be remembered by gaming professors 100 years from now, but the 4th gen made a lot of additions to Pokemon. Yeah, maybe a lot of legends, but legends are what gets people to come to the franchise in the first place. Honestly, I think gen 3 has the most forgettable Pokemon. But then again, I don't own any Hoenn games.
  7. It really should be posted. Every other forum I'm on explains how their warning/ban system works, no reason why this one should be the exception.
  8. Your hypothetical are basically the text-book definition of not being mentally stable. You/your loved one were JUST TOLD by an MD of a disease that'll take you/your loved one's life. No MD worth their salt would see the patient or their medical proxy in a stable enough state in that time. Your cousins/sister/whatever should have done what the topic says: talk to a physician. Probably someone from psych. Random idiot's from forums/street corners/churches and their opinion's are a dime a dozen.
  9. Is your Ralts a foreign one? If you use a Japanese Pokemon in an English cart to breed (for example), the Everstone will have no effect. On the other hand, using a non-native language Pokemon with a native language Pokemon decreases the shiny odds from 1/8000-ish to 1/2000-ish. Also, I've had that happen to me while breeding too. While it's odd to get many eggs without that nature, it's not a guarantee. the 50% chance is per egg. It doesn't mean half of your eggs will actually be adamant.
  10. Because someone's "rep" is just a number based around whoever gives them positive/negative rep. People easily just do it for friends or do it to suck up to mods/admin/etc... or because they disagree with someone's opinion and goes out of their way to give them negative rep. Like post count, it is a completely meaningless number to anyone who looks at it. The reason "Just read their posts" works is because then you get to decide what their "rep" is. And if you never read someone's posts, that means you all don't post in the same threads/forums, so why's it matter. You don't even need to read every post to get a general idea of what you think of a user. Just a few, in threads you read/post in. And from every way I've heard it described, it sounds like a pain to moderate. By all means, if the upper staff here decide to activate it, then so be it. But I think it's an extremely unnecessary feature that doesn't provide any real use that individual users can't already do on their own.
  11. To all: From now on, if you need Pokesav help or need to know the legality of something, post in the proper Pokemon Editing forum. Thanks.
  12. [/end] So can we stop with this whole "omgzers dsi exclusive" crap?
  13. So this is a thread about some random hacker. I don't know why this would belong here. I'll look into it and see if it belongs in any of these other forums. But for now, it'll be closed.
  14. Please edit your OP to conform with the rules. EDIT: After looking over your list, there's a lot wrong with it. If you get it fixed within 48 hours, I won't close your thread. But a lot needs to be done: English, please. Many fan-made events are not listed under your fan-made list. Identify illegal Pokemon as illegal (NOK, among others). Identify fan-made depending on the legality of it (and many fan made aren't even listed as fan made in your current list). Identify any generated Pokemon as such, etc... List your friend code. And while it's not absolutely necessary, make a format that's aesthetically pleasing. Otherwise, it'll get closed and you can try again later. EDIT: Time's up and the two warned topics haven't been changed. Thread closed, posts deleted. Please feel free to re-post as long as your new thread/post follows forum rules.
  15. This is false. The Glacideiawhatever flower is only given to you if the "Pokemon Event" is flagged, similar to how the Golem Trio event is only activated by the Movie Regigias. A Shaymin from Flower Paradise in D/P will not get you the flower. I'm unsure if FP Shaymin from Plat will get t. However, ANY Shayin can use the flower.
  16. There used to be a post outlying what happens depending on how many points are accumulated, but I can't find it any more.
  17. This really isn't a hacking help forum. It's for asking for battles and discussing competitive battling. You can find base stats of all Pokemon by using the main site's Pokedex. Any Mewtwo would be from "Kanto" and would be Pal-Parked. Normally, I'd move this, but it's a pretty easy and straight-forward answer.
  18. Somewhere here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3
  19. Not to mention that this would only be possible on a home-console, and Gamefreak has repeatedly said that they have no interest in developing console games for Pokemon. And, as far as I'm concerned, they're the only developers with any sort of consistency for Pokemon games. I can see it being similar in size as it was in Gen II. Pretty ghost-like. Honestly, the best announcement, for me, would be Pokemon Ranch gets re-released without all the horrible restrictions on it. Or they could just add a Ranch-like aspect to a new Wii game and I'd be happy with that too.
  20. Agreed. While the features with the DSi are great, none of them are really anything that would cause it to be "DSi exclusive" unless a new feature is utilized, such as the camera or the storage space. And even then, I can easily see whatever new games are made working on both the DS/Lite and DSi because they use the same cartridges, just those small features wouldn't be available.
  21. The DSi is 100% compatible with current DS games. The only ones that are completely not-compatible is ones that use the GBA slot for an essential feature (Guitar Hero). Pal-Park isn't an essential feature. So how can this be "DSi exclusive", unless it was released on the download store?
  22. I agree that it is a fairly useless feature. You can tell someone's reputation by reading their posts.
  23. How can it be "DSi exclusive" (except if it's for the download store)? They use the same types of cart, and the only gaming difference is no GBA slot for Pal-Park. But any of the dozens of millions of people who own DS/Lite won't have that problem anyway.
  24. I'm guessing MYSTERY DUNGEON XXTREME! Or a new Wii game. And from the Something Awful forums, Broken Loose provides his guess on the new Pokemon game (spoiled for mild language):
