This application can generate TID/SID pairs that can be used with the Cute Charm Glitch in Gen 4, and even outputs an Action Replay Code. You can: Choose the Cute Charm Lead, Shiny Group, and even specify a Trainer ID Even let the program choose the Shiny Group for you (if you want the shiny natures to be a surprise) Choose the button combo that activates the Action Replay Code (for those with broken buttons. Yes, I'm talking about you, shoulder buttons!) Add an Cute Charm Pokemon to be hacked in Compared to RNGReporter (one of the other programs that can calculate Cute Charm ID pairs), this program is: More user-friendly; there isn't all the RNG abuse stuff to get confused about (I still recommend RNGReporter if you plan on RNG Abusing for IDs) Built with everything you need. You no longer need to go online and find your 'Desired PID', etc. Able to output a Action Replay Code Able to choose Shiny Group for you Able to give you a Cute Charm Lead through the AR Code For more information visit the project's GitHub Page. -
Hi all, not sure if this is the best place to post something like this but im not quite sure where else to turn. The story is as follows: I boot up pokemon silver after a long hiatus and go to defeat Jasmine in the Olivine City gym. I white out because its been a while and leave to get my pokemon healed up. later I return to the gym after remembering how pokemon works lol but am greeted by someone at the door saying "Object Event" and am not let into the gym. As far as I understand this happens when the game doesnt quite know what to do, its just a placeholder. Being stuck, I continue to try and get through as much of Johto as I can, defeating all the other gyms and kicking team rocket out of mahogony town imagining maybe that will move the game to a state where I can get in to fight Jasmine again. But no dice, still Object Event, still shut out. Im not quite sure what to do at this point and so am very open to any suggestions. This is all that I think is keeping me from progressing the story and It would be a bummer to have to start from scratch :/

I am curious to know whether people believe acquiring an event mew in VC1, then using ACE bugs to change its DVs so it will be shiny when pokebanked, should considered legal.

Cutting right to the chase, it seems whenever you enable regular (non important) trainers to do a Double Battle, one of the following 2 things will occur; A: If you talk to the trainer and start the battle, they will have no text and there will be a blank textbox, but apart from that it's fine. B: If they engage the encounter, the game freeze's in place, which is a softlock. I've heard multiple reasons why this occurs, but I want to know exactly what causes this so I can figure out a way to fix it. Also I'm assuming actually fixing this issue will most likely require a hex editing tool or something else complicated, so any tool recommendations? I'm absolute trubbish at hex code but I'll try my best (and also apologies if this topic is formatted incorrectly, this is the first time I've made one for this site). I don't think it matters, but the Emulator that I'm using for my Rom Hack is DeSmuME. Latest Version. And to clarify, the Rom is a USA Pokemon Black rom.
-
I’m thinking maybe its because I’ll click the teach all TRs for my pokemon instead of individually pickig the TRs and maybe thats the issue? But I find that I can teach a flygon or manectric water moves and noticed when I couldnt use them online anymore that I had been teaching some pokemon moves they should never have been able to learn.

Thanks to GlitchCity researches we discovered in Gold/Silver an unused map called DA00 in Kanto that generates wild Pokemon. Chances of corrupting your save with it are very high and Pokemon are over lv100. Apparently another like that exist also in Crystal but it was not documented. -
Many of my PC Pokémon in Pearl have disappeared and I'm seemingly not the only one. Could somebody please investigate this, maybe find out how it works, how it can be prevented, how it can be fixed, etc?

I'll get straight to details. I wanted to create and edit a few Pokemon for fun on my physical copy of Pokemon Sun. I decided that PKHeX would be a good idea, so I followed a few videos and got it downloaded. I started to mess around with it a bit, and I successfully got a few Pokemon on my save. I went to bed, and the next day I decided to actually begin creating Pokemon that I wanted, so I filled up a few boxes. I made sure they were legal, but they were legendaries that would be difficult to get, like shiny Gen IV legendaries and such. I also hacked a few copies of shiny evolutions. I made a backup of the vanilla save, then saved the modified save separately and turned on my game. When it booted up, it displayed a picture and a block of text saying "The saved game data is corrupted. Please go to the home manual and refer to the manual for this software." I switched the save to vanilla and started it up and it worked. No data was lost except the Pokemon I wanted to hack in. I decided to test it more, and filled up a box with otherwise normal Pokemon, which were shiny and Lv100. Turned it on, corrupted, switched the save, it was fine. I looked into it a bit online and found that there was a bug where the save file would corrupt if you were in an area with a PC. Everyone said it was patched, but for safety's sake I moved my character from the nursery to Route 6 directly below it. I hacked in 6 Charizards, still no avail. At that point, I took the save and put in a very simplistic, normal shiny Eevee. No other changes, just this level 1 shiny Eevee. Same message as all the times before. I looked around more and everyone either attributed it to the bug, or didn't have an answer, so that's when I typed this as a last resort. For information, I have an old 3DS and a physical copy of Sun, which according to the game is at v1.1. I use the Soundhax Homebrew v1.1.1 and JKSV, as well as PKHeX (20170318). If you need any more information, I'll reply with the info I can gather. Thank you in advance for your help!

I was experiencing a certain bug when performing a certain series of actions. I wanted to increase the friendliness and affection of each and every Pokémon in my PC. Since I did not want to spend the time doing all of that, nor did I want to punish my hand muscles like that, I wrote a Python script that uses PyAutoGUI (shown below). This is pretty much a way to tell the computer to control its own mouse and keyboard, and you can tell it exactly where to press when and what to press or type. I watched as it, for an entire PC box, did what I wanted: It right-clicked, selected "View", clicked on the "Memories" button, double-clicked the Friendship text box, typed 2-5-5, double-clicked the Affection text box, typed 2-5-5, right-clicked on the original Pokémon again, and selected to "Set", and then it moved on to the next one. I then trusted that it would do this for all of the boxes that I told it to, which took approximately an hour. When I came back to my computer, to my dismay, it reached the end, but the changes were somehow reverted. I feel like this is a glitch on the part of PKHeX. I just thought that I should report this, so that I could receive a solution or bugfix to this issue. Please respond soon if you know what is going on. Here is the script from before. Basically, pyautogui.click(x, y) just tells the thing to click in that location and doubleClick(x, y) tells it to double-click in that area, while pyautogui.press('2') or pyautogui.press('5') told it to press one of these two buttons, in case you were wondering how this worked: import pyautogui import time time.sleep(5) for b in range(1, 31): pyautogui.click(1095, 193) for yy in range(0, 5): for xx in range(0, 6): pointx = 913 + (40 * xx) pointy = 232 + (31 * yy) pyautogui.click(x=pointx, y=pointy, button='right') pyautogui.click(x=pointx+40, y=pointy+15) pyautogui.click(x=759, y=433) pyautogui.doubleClick(x=793, y=220) pyautogui.press('2') pyautogui.press('5') pyautogui.press('5') pyautogui.doubleClick(x=935, y=220) pyautogui.press('2') pyautogui.press('5') pyautogui.press('5') pyautogui.click(x=1016, y=430) pyautogui.click(x=pointx, y=pointy, button='right') pyautogui.click(x=pointx+40, y=pointy+35)

The infamous Mew glitch. Well, infamous for Nintendo. Anyways, were you able to perform the glitch? I didn't for a while, I hadn't heard about it until I already had one that I cloned. How to obtain: Extended:

Hello Researchers! Today I have discovered an exploit for Generation 3 that affects Pokemon Legality for RNG. The exploit can be done in 2 ways. One way is to take a save file with Japanese/Localized dual compatible names and nicknames from a Japanese Gen 3 game, flash it to an English cart, and then take any already-nicknamed Pokemon (pre-naming fixes a bug with bank compatibility for Japanese-exclusive Pokemon like mew) to the name rater to enjoy longer English names when kept on that same file. The more legit way is to RNG both region games to have a 5 to 1 digit cross region OT, with the same SID and TID, similar to using RNG to rename event Pokemon via OT RNG manipulation. The next step to do is Nickname the Japanese Pokemon, trade it over, and rename it on the English game with the cross region characters. Accent letters for Latin and Japanese will pose problems, along with RS copies with the nickname flag bug. Anyhow, this process obviously fails when trying to make longer Japanese nicknames. This means Nicknamed 3rd gen event Pokemon, Nicknamed Shiny Jirachi, Nicknamed Celebi, and Nicknamed In game events are possible now to RNG users. Hopefully this helps Legality checkers! Thanks, and have fun!

Alright I need some help. So I wanted the Shiny Charm so I could Shiny hunt on W2. So, I got a living dex file and put the boxes in that save to my save. I turn my game on and get a few steps and then a freeze 50819466426__A95F4225-DB14-45EF-9C15-35F63CD4F3F9.MOV

I NEED RARE CANDIES I tried to edit my bag on the pokegen to add rare candies I put in just one, saved it, ran it, everything was smooth. But when I tried to use the rare candy it said that I used my last rare candy and when I tried to throw it away nothing happens the one rare candy stays in my bag (note: this was early in game so I have not yet found rare candies in game yet). Even if I put in 999 it says that. I tried it on some other items it worked fine (tried it on different pokeballs all of them worked fine). I just want some just to quickly evolve some pokemon who need high happiness and different locations and time to evolve

Hey, posting here in hopes someone will be able to help a little. on my soul silver (us) save, I'm at the 8th gym. Thing is, Clair seems to be bugged. I have not fought her. The dragon's cave is blocked by the same old guy, and my trainer's card lists only 7 badges. I don't have the Dragon Pulse TM, either. When I talk to her, she gives me the dialogue that happens after you've beat her and she gives you the TM. Tells me to go to New Bark Town, that I have challenges ahead, etc. When I go to New Bark, Professor Elm tells me to use the boat/train/whatever with the ticket he gave me, but again, I don't have the ticket either. Is there some way to fix whatever flag was tripped making Claire think she's already given me the TM so I can have the fight with her and get the badge/national dex/etc? Basically I'm asking for a way to unset Clair-related flags.. she seems to be stuck at the after fight, post-given-TM dialogue. I really hope I can fix this without starting the save completely over, I have an insane amount of time and 143 on the 'dex. I've used rebattle trainer codes and IV/EV viewing codes, no modifications to any Pokemon. I have done a lot of trading though although none with knowingly pokesav-generated Pokes. I haven't used TM/HM cheats, I've only used the ones I've listed. They're off now, naturally. Really hoping someone here will have some idea, I have access to pokesav etc, I'm running it on a cyclods. :frown:

IN ALL MAPS TWEAKING LOCATIONS ARE MARKED BY WHERE THE BLUE LOAD LINES CROSS Azalea Town: map The Left tweaking location allows for access to the void, The right one lets you skip slowpoke well team rocket battles entirely. New Bark Town: Only reason to do this is to get HM waterfall early by walking to the dragon's den, you can't enter the void here. Violet City: [url="http://www.halloforigin.com/w/images/2/29/HGSS_Violet_City_Tweaking_Map.png'>map All tweaks here are blocked except the one in the water, and you can't ride your bike there, so no need to look for them. Cherrygrove City: map All tweaks here are blocked except the one in the water, and you can't ride your bike there, so no need to look for them. Saffron City: This tweak map I made myself. The unblocked tweak locations are highlighted in red. Both locations give access to the void. More to come!

Hello, I got a little problem since I've started using Pokésav today. There are some little bugs such as move names being truncated or columns in PIV/IV window having special characters instead of proper names. Here is a screenshot: => http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/39/problmeaffichagepoksav.png I downloaded the D/P 0.40c (English) version from http://projectpokemon.org/pokesav/downloadpokesav . Any idea to fix that? Thanks in advance

Well, I just got a copy of Crystal from a friend, since mine has exploded. I always have a hard time choosing starters in the 1st and 2nd gen games. Then, lo and behold, I discovered a way to exploit the cloning glitch to get all of them. http://glitchcity.info/docs/all3starters I followed the instructions there to a tee, nothing. The video demo was on Gold. Does this not work on Crystal? D: Is my timing off during the cloning part? I was able to put my Cyndaquil into the box, save and quickly power off, but when I go back to the box, nothing.

Recently I have been finding out more about the Ruby/Saphire Berry Glitch Zigzagoons. It uses the restricted uncommon gba event (ABDE), where every seed seems to be below 0xFFFF. Currently I have identified that the lower part of the PID actually does not utilize the B call to the RNG, however does conform to (A ^ ( TID ^ SID ) ) which ensures that it is shiny. However to keep the genders proper (female for ruby, and male for sapphire), there are more alterations done to the PID. I do not have a significant number of test zagoons to check, however it is possible that the high PID and low PID are altered (similar to chain shinies) in a way that would ensure the gender as well. I will bring everyone more info as I get it. If anyone is interested in helping, simply email your berry glitch zigzagoons to sabresite [a@t] projectpokemon.org and please make sure the zigs are 100% legit.

I've been looking everywhere for this information as I've heard it before and I just wanted to get some confirmation...has anyone ever heard of the Legendary Beasts Glitch in FireRed/LeafGreen where the random beast will have VERY LOW IVs like 0...something like that...I need to see if this is completely true as I've heard about it but yet cannot find ANY info on it... Anyone know?
