About Me

Friend Code (Nintendo Switch)

Friend Code (3DS)

NNID (Wii U)

  1. I am trying to compile a list of the interactable Pokémon encounters in Pokémon Sun and Moon. If anyone could assist me in this endeavor I would be appreciative. These encounters would include in game event Pokémon, legendaries, stationary Pokémon wild battles, and of the such.
  2. Hi team, So recently we have had an outbreak of people hosting loads of new legendary dens online. I personally caught a Verizion and Mewtwo an hour ago. I was wondering... Can someone provide me a step by step process on how to edit the pokemon inside the den to the illegal ones? I use PKHEX and create all the dens I want at the moment, but how to turn one into a Mewtwo? Or a Squirtle?
  3. I was trying to replay my Pokemon Black to try maximize my trainer card levels... I know all the requirements: 1. Defeating Ghetsis & Team Plasma, or maybe even get on hall of fame (done) 2. Extralink thingy (I used PKHex) 3. Collecting all musical props (done with PKHeX too) 4. Super single trains and super double trains both 49 wins, defeat Ingo and Emmet Respectively (done as below, but I didnt use any PKHex to win it) 5. Complete National Dex (I'm on my way collecting swarms pokemon for the next days) Yet my trainer card only shown Silver Card, which is 3/5 from max card upgrades. But as you guys can see, I have done 4 out of 5 tasks and supposedly get a gold trainer card. My Pokemon Black PKHeX and Trainer Card are shown below: On contrary, my Pokemon White (yes I replaying both games) get a gold trainer card with very similar tasks done (4 out of 5, just recently defeat Emmet on Super Double Trains). It did upgrade to Gold Trainer Card. This one is confusing me, what's wrong? Or any things that I just slipped and didnt do? Hope anyone can help (fyi the 56 wins streaks on my super single train is from my Pokemon Black, I just redid it 1 streak more to ensure the game didnt bugged my trainer card, but its useless.) My Pokemon White PKHeX and Trainer Card below:
  4. Hey guys, I don't know if anyone can help me here, but I have the following problem: I have a Switch, but it does NOT have Homebrew and I want to keep it that way. However, I would like to use Randomizer for the Pokemon games. But now the following problem: All tutorials on Randomizer require a Switch with Homebrew to get to the romfs and exefs folders. Can I somehow get to these folders without a Switch with Homebrew?
  5. Hey guys, I just started playing Alpha Sapphire because I finally got my own N3DS! The thing is I'd really love to get that event Beldum that I missed. Any chance I can request a genned one here? Any help would be very appreciated. My Friend Code is: Pokemon Species: Beldum Held Item: Metagrossite Level: 5 Ability: Clear Body Nickname (If wanted): Colossus Trainer ID (If specific): 11214 Secret ID (If specific): Any Shiny (Yes or No): Yes Egg (Yes or No): No Nature: Serious Pokérus Status: None Pokéball Captured In: Cherish Ball EV Stats: 0/0/0/0/0/0 IV Stats: 15/15/15/15/15/15 Ribbons (If any): Classic Ribbon Location/Date Met: "An online present. Apparently had a fateful encounter at Lv. 5" / January 14th 2015 Location/Date Hatched (If an Egg): None Friend Code (If Trading): My FC is 1693-6537-9180 and I don't know if anyone could trade it me but that would be perfect! thanks in advance

This is a collection of all possible Trades and Gifts of in-game NPC's credentials in every language possible. All Generation I-IV Trades are obtained at the lowest level possible with thorough research. Please refer to the Guide.txt included in the collection archive for details on what to edit to make any of them to your personal liking. NOTE: If you're reading this in the future and a new game came out, please do not expect any updates with its trades immediately or anytime soon, unless users contribute them to me. Credits: @Taargüs Taargüs - For providing the PK5s for all languages of B2W2 Yancy and Curtis trades, and also the Korean B2 Petilil! @RobustRabbit - For providing CHT SM and USUM trades! @ViolentDarkBrown - For providing all languages of trades in Let's Go, Pikachu/Eevee, Sword/Shield, and Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl! Serebii and Bulbapedia - For providing the location whereabouts and details for the lowest levels possible of NPC's requested Pokemon. (Even though they contradict each other sometimes...) And of course, anyone who reports errors! If you would like to share this collection archive around other websites, you are free to do so, but please give credit to the mentioned users for their generosity to contributing. Thanks! PSA: If PKHeX flags any Pokemon as invalid, please do collate the files that do so and report them in the PKHeX forum. And if you think a Gen 1-4 Pokemon can't be at a certain level, please do notify me about it (and provide sources).

Make sure you have a working connection, then visit your game's title menu (the one with the continue button). 3. Now click “Nintendo WFC Settings”, and then the nice blue button on the left. 4. Then, click “Ready” on the connection you use to connect to the internet from your DS normally. 5. This brings up the “Edit Settings” page for that connection. Scroll down, and change “Auto-obtain DNS” to “No”. 6. Your Primary DNS and Secondary DNS are now editable. Edit them to the values shown below (they're the same). 7. Do a connection test by pressing “Test Connection” at the top right. It should give you a “Connection Successful”. 8. Save the settings (remember to press the button), and go into your game. 9. Enter into the GTS as normal. 10. You should then be connected to The Global Terminal instead of the original Nintendo GTS. Once you're done with whatever you need to do, simply go out, change “Auto-obtain DNS” to Yes, and save. Your connection should then be back to normal. Note: Newer games will require you to edit Internet Settings from the System Menu instead (for DSi/3DS). Please view the YouTube tutorial for those instead. Hmm... Easy, huh! Anyways, once you establish a connection to The Global Terminal, then what you do next depends on which service you want. Below are the DNS Settings for The Global Terminal. • For Distro Server 1 (4th/5th Gen: DPPtHGSSBWB2W2) RNG'd and Shiny Pokemon! ~ Server Sponsored by willaiem, owner of PokeGTS.us The DNS Server settings should read : Primary DNS : N/A Secondary DNS : N/A • For Distro Server 2 (4th/5th Gen: DPPtHGSSBWB2W2) Event Pokemon! The DNS Server settings should read : Primary DNS : N/A Secondary DNS : N/A To test if a server is running correctly, press the Server Check button. Please change your DNS back once you are done using The Global Terminal. Using any other features in-game outside of the GTS such as trading with others will be blocked.

  16. Hi, I'm currently hacking Pokemon Omega Ruby, and I went through most of the game's files, but I couldn't find anything with Team Magma's logo (the one that appears in battle). I just want to know where in the game's files it is. Thanks!
  17. Infinite TMs in Gen IV --- Let me first preface this by saying that this was figured out by Mikelan98 (with some help from Nextworld and BagBoy to find some of the offsets in different languages). Mikelan98 has requested that you give credit to him if you implement this in your hack. This is simply a documentation so the information doesn't get lost - I didn't figure out any of this myself! This is for the American (U) versions of Platinum and Heart Gold / Soul Silver. Step 1: Extract the relevant files --- First we need to get the right files out of the ROM. For Platinum, you'll need the arm9.bin and the overlay_0084.bin files. For HG / SS, you'll need the decompressed arm9.bin and a decompressed overlay_0015.bin files. (Use the Extract(U) option in crystaltile2 to decompress.) Step 2: Edit the code to make the TM quantity not drop after use --- For Platinum, we want to make the following changes: * Search for "FE 00 28 07 D1 08 48" in the arm9.bin file. * Replace the "D1" with "E0" so that it now reads "FE 00 28 07 E0 08 48". For HG/SS, we want to make the following changes: * Search for "FD 00 28 07 D1 0A 48" in the decompressed arm9.bin file. * Replace the "D1" with "E0" so that it now reads "FD 00 28 07 E0 0A 48". Step 3: Edit the code to make the item quantity not appear for TMs in the bag --- For Platinum, we want to make the following changes: * Search for "FF F7 83 FF 04 B0" in the overlay_0084.bin file. * Replace the first four bytes with "00 00 00 00", so it should now read "00 00 00 00 04 B0". For HG/SS, we want to make the following changes: * Search for "81 42 53 D3" in the decompressed overlay_0015.bin file. * Replace the "D3" with E0 so that it now reads "81 42 53 E0". Step 4: Rebuild the ROM --- You'll need to reinsert the relevant files as needed. For HG/SS, you'll need to recompress them when adding them to the ROM by using the "Compression" option to import them back when using crystaltile2. After that, save and/or build your ROM, and you should find that TMs don't show a quantity anymore, and they also won't disappear after being used.

This is a Japanese Pokemon Ruby save file that I scanned my "Decoration present" E-reader card on to get the Regi Dolls in my save, using official hardware. I discovered that it was possible to use the decoration trader NPC to trade secret base decorations between games to get every secret base decoration in the English games. (Or any language, I just happen to be in North America.) To get the decoration trader NPC into your game (Without mixing records), your ID needs to end in a 4 or a 5. Alternatively, if you don't have him and you need him. It would be a simple task to create new save files until you get the correct ID, play through the game and mix records to send him to your desired cart. I've included an insulting diagram on how to get the regi dolls from the Japanese Ruby to the non-JP Emerald with the least amount of record mixing needed, assuming all 3 saves have a decoration trader.
  20. PRESENTATION Hello everyone! Here is the presentation of my rom hack: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Hell and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Heaven. I've always loved Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, but I was always frustrated by the lack of difficulty, and the fact that the game was finishable without using all the QoL offered by the game, like IQ, linked moves and other mechanics. After discovering SkyTemple, I tried to create my own rom hack, and finally get the game I always wanted to play. With Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Hell, you can expect : - A very high difficulty. - New starters and new Pokemon from generations 5 to 8. - New dungeons, boss battles and items. - New dialogues (lots of memes and humor). - The fairy type added. - And other features. In this thread, I will present you some new features, you will also have some screenshots of the game, and you will have some data related to the game, like the list of legendary Pokémon that can be found with the mystery part/secret slab or the list of new attacks. First of all, I want to thank the whole SkyTemple team, this would not have been possible without their engine and hard work. I also want to thank the spriters without whom the new Pokémon could not have appeared in my game. Finally, I would like to thank Mond who generally helped me a lot in the creation of my rom hack. He also created his rom hack: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon : Explorers of Alpha, I invite you all to go and see his project. Remember to talk to the Porygon2 in the game crossroad for a detailed list of spécial thanks. What is the difference between Explorers of Hell and Explorers of Heaven ? FEATURES AND NEW MECHANICS Random features : New gameplay mechanics : New Pokémon : New moves : USEFUL DATA Pokemon shiny location : Location of Pokemon found with the Mystery Part / Secret Slab : SCREENSHOTS : New title screen : New starters / partners : New Pokémon : Examples of new boss battles : New shiny Pokémon : Examples of new items : Examples of new dialogues : Some Pokémon are back : SPECIAL THANKS Thanks to the spriters for making the portraits of the old and new Pokémon, as well as for the sprites of the Pokémon from generation 5 to 8 : Thanks to all the SkyTemple team and its community for their help, especially : Thanks to the beta testers for spotting the problems of the game, as well as for helping me with the dialogues : Thanks to Fke for designing the text box and the teams stats. Thanks also to all those I didn't mention. Thanks also to all those who followed the progress of the game and who supported the project since the beginning. It's thanks to your messages and your support that I had the motivation to work for several months on this game, so a huge thank you to you, and I hope you will like the result. DOWNLOAD You will need to patch a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Sky Explorer US rom. Avoid using savestates to apply future patches. In the file, you will have a tutorial to patch your rom. If you have any question about the patch, the game or anything else, feel free to send me a message on discord : babou#0001, to come in my server (https://discord.gg/6QbPHYZDtg) or to send me a message on twitter : @babouzzz. f
  21. I have a TRU Shaymin, TRU Regigigas, and TRU Arceus, as well as ALAMOS Darkrai and Gamestp Deoxys. I want to learn their SIDs so I can make my own legit event Pokemon (and give them max IVs and such), but what I want to know is this--does each event Pokemon has it's own ID? I know each Pokemon has its own OT and trainer ID, what I want to know is if they have their own SID too. Failing that, is there an AR code I can use to see what a Pokemon's SID is? Of course, I'm willing to trade with someone who can tell me what my Pokemon's SIDS are, too. I'm just curious and wanting to save a bit of time. =P
  22. Hi! Newbie in the emulator scene here as I have been mostly playing via Switch. I am well versed with using PKHeX but I cannot seems to find a way to push the changes I did using the Main file in Citra back to the game. This is what my party looks like before I edit it in PKHeX: This is what it looks like up editing and saving via CItra's Save Data Location: However upon opening the game in Citra the part never changed even the box. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
  23. Official Help/Small Questions Thread for DPP! In effort to help reduce clutter and the many threads asking small questions, this thread has been created. Forgot where to go next on Route 212? Lost on Mt. Coronet? Wondering why Shaymin won't change forms? Any of your small questions can be answered here. Well, almost. Threads that may answer your questions: EV Training Questions/Hep Here Team Building Questions/Help Here Smogon Rule Discussion Common Rules of Battling Basically, do you have a question that can inspire discussion? If so, post a thread (if one hasn't already been made). If it's game help or general questions about the 4th gen, then post here. Hopefully this will reduce clutter in the forum.
  24. Pokémon Structure in RAM Due to a lack of documentation regarding how Pokémon are stored in RAM during battle of the generation 4 games I have taken it upon myself to document how they are structured and how to extract them. I've found that the Pokémon data is stored around the addresses 002C0BC2 to 002D5780 when a RAM dump is viewed in a hex editor. The length of the data is of 128 bytes (decimal value) or 80 bytes (hexadecimal value) per Pokémon. With that the following is the structure of Pokémon data in the RAM of generation 4 main line games if the relevant 128 bytes were extracted from the RAM; therefore, I'll be starting at address 0x00. Please note that for all values that use 2 or more bytes the values are stored in little-endian format. Offset Content 0x00-0x01 National Pokédex identification number. 0x02-0x0B 0x02-0x03 = Attack stat 0x04-0x05 = Defense stat 0x06-0x07 = Speed stat 0x08-0x09 = Special attack stat 0x0A-0x0B = Special defense stat 0x0C-0x13 The moves known by the Pokémon with every two bytes corresponding to the move index. 0x0C-0x0D = Move 1 0x0E-0x0F = Move 2 0x10-0x11 = Move 3 0x12-0x13 = Move 4 0x14-0x17 IVs, IsEgg Flag, IsNicknamed Flag. Same as in Block B of PKM Structure for Gen 4 found in the tech documents. 0x18-0x1F This set of bytes start at 06 and keeps track of the how the stats of the Pokémon have increased or decreased during the battle. Example 00 = a decrease in a stat by -6 stages and 0C = an increase in a stat by +6 stages. 0x20-0x21 These bytes are linked to the species of the Pokémon in some way. As such a byte combination of 70 0B will be set there if the opposing Pokémon is a Lugia. 0x22-0x23 Unused, in all tests. All bytes have been 00 and after many tests these bytes did not change. 0x24-0x25 These bytes are linked to the species of the Pokémon in some way. As such a byte combination of 0E 02 will be set there if the opposing Pokémon is a Lugia. 0x26 Pokémon form index. If the Pokémon does not have more than one form or the Pokémon is in its base form this value will be 00. Note form and evolution stage are different concepts. 0x27 Ability index 0x28 Unused, in all tests. All bytes have been 00 and after many tests these bytes did not change. 0x29 Appears to change if the Pokémon has a blanket ability activated. 00 = no blanket ability and 04 = the Pressure ability. It is unclear if this byte can have a value other than 00 or 04 depending on the ability. 0x2A-0x2B Unused, in all tests. All bytes have been 00 and after many tests these bytes did not change. 0x2C-0x2F Current Power Points of moves. 0x2C = Power Points Remaining for move 1 0x2D = Power Points Remaining for move 2 0x2E = Power Points Remaining for move 3 0x2F = Power Points Remaining for move 4 0x30-0x33 Number of PP UPs used for each move. 0x30 = Number of PP Ups used on move 1 0x31 = Number of PP Ups used on move 2 0x32 = Number of PP Ups used on move 3 0x33 = Number of PP Ups used on move 4 Values cannot exceed hexadecimal value 03. 0x34 Current level of Pokémon. Value cannot exceed hexadecimal value 64. 0x35 Happiness of Pokémon. 0x36-0x4B Pokémon nickname. If no nickname is set the Pokémon species name will be stored here with a terminating FF value. Note this is a character array; therefore, little-endian formatting does not apply here. 0x4C-0x4D The current Hit Point value of the Pokémon. 0x4E-0x4F Unused, in all tests. All bytes have been 00 and after many tests these bytes did not change. 0x50 The max Hit Point value of the Pokémon. 0x51-0x53 Unused, in all tests. All bytes have been 00 and after many tests these bytes did not change. 0x54-0x63 Original trainer (OT) name. If the Pokémon belongs to a non-playable character (NPC) all bytes will be 00 with a terminating FF. Note this is a character array; therefore, little-endian formatting does not apply here. 0x64-0x67 Current EXP. If the Pokémon belongs to a NPC all bytes will be 00. 0x68-0x6B Pokémon personality identification number (PID). 0x6C This byte gets set if the Pokémon is affected with a status condition that is not temporary such as burn or poison. 0x6D-0x73 Each byte correlates with a temporary status condition. For example the byte set for confusion is the counter for how many turns is remaining before the confusion status effect wears off. 0x74-0x75 Trainer identification number (ID). 0x76-0x77 Trainer secret identification number (SID). 0x78-0x79 The index of the item that the Pokémon is holding. 0x7A-0x7D Each byte correlates with a status condition that is not temporary. The byte set for sleep is the counter for how many turns is remaining before the wakes up. 0x7E This byte is the gender of the Pokémon. 00 = male, 01 = female, 02 = genderless. 0x7F This byte is the type of Poke Ball that the Pokémon is in. If it is in a special ball from Pokémon Heart Gold or Pokémon Soul Silver this byte will be 04 which is the same as the Poke Ball. --footer-- Pokémon Extraction In order to easily extract a Pokémon from RAM I recommend dumping the RAM as soon as the Pokémon that you want to extract is sent into battle. This is done so when viewing the RAM in a hex editor you can find a string of bytes that is both unique enough that it will not appear multiple times in the RAM and consistent with any Pokémon currently in the RAM. With that said the string of bytes that meets both of these conditions in most cases is the stat increase/decrease values with would be 06 06 06 06 06 06 06 06. Please note if an ability such as Intimidate or Download actives before dumping the RAM you will have to adjust the string of bytes accordingly. In a standard 1 vs 1 battle the first Pokémon that will appear in the RAM will be yours and the second one will be your opponents. From there follow how a Pokémon is stored in the save file in order to rearrange the data to create a valid PK4 file. Update: I have developed an application that can find and extract Pokémon from a generation 4 RAM dump file. Application can be downloaded from here Additional Reading
