  3. Links:- The Global Terminal HQ | The Original Competitive Pokemon GTS Distribution Thread Event Pokemon List (3rd/4th Gen) | Event Pokemon List (5th Gen) | OT/ID/SID Hack Blacklist PokeCheck.org | DW Pokemon List Thread Table of Contents:- -Introduction -Connection Guide -DNS Settings -The Distro Servers -Frequently Asked Questions -Checking Information -Credits ~Well Haii Thar!~ Ever wanted to get some free awesome Pokemon? You've come to the right place! Introducing... The Global Terminal! Basically, instead of me having to engage in a trade with you to receive the Pokemon, in which we both have to be on at the same time, I can now send you Pokemon, ANYTIME! (And I don't have to be on!) Before you embark on your journey into The Global Terminal, PLEASE, PLEASE, and for the third time, PLEASE, read all the information data to avoid any mistakes or errors. ~How to Connect~ The step by step guide of success! ^^ YouTube Guide ^^ Here's where things get a little technical. To be able to connect to me, you need to:- 1. Have connected to the in-game Global Trade Station before (just for the knowledge of how to use it). 2. Make sure you have a working connection, then visit your game's title menu (the one with the continue button). 3. Now click “Nintendo WFC Settings”, and then the nice blue button on the left. 4. Then, click “Ready” on the connection you use to connect to the internet from your DS normally. 5. This brings up the “Edit Settings” page for that connection. Scroll down, and change “Auto-obtain DNS” to “No”. 6. Your Primary DNS and Secondary DNS are now editable. Edit them to the values shown below (they're the same). 7. Do a connection test by pressing “Test Connection” at the top right. It should give you a “Connection Successful”. 8. Save the settings (remember to press the button), and go into your game. 9. Enter into the GTS as normal. 10. You should then be connected to The Global Terminal instead of the original Nintendo GTS. Once you're done with whatever you need to do, simply go out, change “Auto-obtain DNS” to Yes, and save. Your connection should then be back to normal. Note: Newer games will require you to edit Internet Settings from the System Menu instead (for DSi/3DS). Please view the YouTube tutorial for those instead. Hmm... Easy, huh! Anyways, once you establish a connection to The Global Terminal, then what you do next depends on which service you want. Below are the DNS Settings for The Global Terminal. • For Distro Server 1 (4th/5th Gen: DPPtHGSSBWB2W2) RNG'd and Shiny Pokemon! ~ Server Sponsored by willaiem, owner of PokeGTS.us The DNS Server settings should read : Primary DNS : N/A Secondary DNS : N/A • For Distro Server 2 (4th/5th Gen: DPPtHGSSBWB2W2) Event Pokemon! The DNS Server settings should read : Primary DNS : N/A Secondary DNS : N/A To test if a server is running correctly, press the Server Check button. Please change your DNS back once you are done using The Global Terminal. Using any other features in-game outside of the GTS such as trading with others will be blocked.

  6. The purpose of this thread is to discuss, document and make public the resources available for RNG manipulation in Gen 7. Gen 7 RNG manipulation Ressources: RNG Calculators: wwwwwwzx's SMEncounterRNGTool Quandra’s PokemonSunMoonRNGTool For Mac users, jasenyoface has kindly made available a Wine bundle (v2.10a) for Quandra’s calculator, which can be downloaded here. NB.: You will require a timer for stationary and gift pokemon RNG manipulation. For Windows users, EonTimer is recommended. As another alternative, both Windows & Mac users can use emtimer (jap.). ***NEWS*** A port of wwwwwwzx's SMEncounterRNGTool and Quandra's PokemonSunMoonRNGTool is curently in development for web browsers. This will allow almost any device with a browser to run these calculators. It’s being developed by the same people who made pokeCalcNTR. You can access the project’s official GitHub link here. Other useful RNG manipulation tools: pokeCalcNTR is an overlay plugin that allows the user to view in real-time IVs, Nature, Seed, frames and much more in Sun & Moon. Plans are being made to make it compatible with Gen 6 as well. Do note however that in order to run this plugin you will require CFW, FBI and NTR Selector to be installed on your console. Also, you will need to have your copy of Sun or Moon on the latest firmware 1.1 in order for pokeCalcNTR to properly display the initial seed and current frame (otherwise “initial seed" will incorrectly be stuck on 0 while frames will remain fixed on a given number). Tutorials & other links of interest: This post shall be updated as new tools and ressources are made available.
  7. Hello all, I've recently found the following code for black2: 94000130 FFFB0000 DA000000 021FED28 D7000000 02257374 A225736A 00000000 1225736A 00000000 DA000000 021FED28 D6000000 0225736A D2000000 00000000 Description: Press Select in the badges/trainer card screen. Pressing it in other circumstances can cause problems to the game, so be careful. I would like to ask how one can find the IV frame (what ivs the next pokemon will have) using this seed and RNG reporter.

  9. Hello RNG'ers! Today, I have prepared a save file for those looking to RNG Japanese Emerald's Mew for me. It is a copy of the HaxAras ticket save, but with both ID numbers changed to a special set that makes the only timid 6iv flawless method 1 spread shiny after 176+ million frames. (Refer to my earlier posts and threads for my desired hex PID of 7942EF72, with TID 60510, and 31337.) Anyways, this save file is ready to catch mew when using frameskip 9/10, turbo mode, 1000%, and vblank patching (all from reddit and bond697) to speed the game up to the only flawless frame at 176,000,000+ frames, which, instead of 817 hours or 5 weeks, would, after skipping frames this way, would only take 23-24 hours to hit the frame on a fast PC. This allows Mew to be obtained. If HaxAras's save is unwanted due to cheating, just use Glitzer popping on InsaneNutter's Used Emerald Cart save to change both ID numbers before getting Mew if you abhor cheats. You can trade the Mew to an English RS with Pandora's box TID/NAME/SID/Gender manipulation to trick the name rater into allowing a legit 10 letter english Name before pal-parking without save flashing. Before I forget, on VBA-rr, audio must be off, and the frame counter script for JP Emerald must run, while in addition, the GBA bios is needed for timing accuracy and legitimacy purposes. The desired frame to jump to is frame 176,562,489, which has this PID. You can refer to my first and second threads for the info on these facts, and you can get more info from HaxAras, Ammako, BlackNight(???), suloko, SciresM (possibly), the_Slayer, trigger_death (for GBA RNG info,), and my theories/observations in the connected posts. r/pokemonrng on reddit may help. My earlier wish for an RNG'd 3GPKM is renewed, due to the info found on reddit which, with the battle video method, significantly makes this more doable on console after using an emulator to store the frame counter in the battle video using that namesake glitch on reddit, which allows you to hit the frame on console after save flashing to a JP emerald. This allows shiny 6iv flawless "event ID" method 1 pokemon to be legitimately caught on console with assistance from a wii with fix94's save dumper tool. With school, I have little chance or explanation to waste 24 hours waiting for mew on rng, so I leave the process of procuring shiny event legends with longer names to those in need. Interestingly enough, the Hadou mew can be made using these 2 id numbers into a fan event, which is nicknamed to 10 letters, because the word "Hadou" is 5 characters or less in Romaji and Japanese. This means a hybrid JP event mew is makeable by RNG users due to GEN 3 oversights. Have fun RNGing!
  10. Hello Researchers! Today I have discovered an exploit for Generation 3 that affects Pokemon Legality for RNG. The exploit can be done in 2 ways. One way is to take a save file with Japanese/Localized dual compatible names and nicknames from a Japanese Gen 3 game, flash it to an English cart, and then take any already-nicknamed Pokemon (pre-naming fixes a bug with bank compatibility for Japanese-exclusive Pokemon like mew) to the name rater to enjoy longer English names when kept on that same file. The more legit way is to RNG both region games to have a 5 to 1 digit cross region OT, with the same SID and TID, similar to using RNG to rename event Pokemon via OT RNG manipulation. The next step to do is Nickname the Japanese Pokemon, trade it over, and rename it on the English game with the cross region characters. Accent letters for Latin and Japanese will pose problems, along with RS copies with the nickname flag bug. Anyhow, this process obviously fails when trying to make longer Japanese nicknames. This means Nicknamed 3rd gen event Pokemon, Nicknamed Shiny Jirachi, Nicknamed Celebi, and Nicknamed In game events are possible now to RNG users. Hopefully this helps Legality checkers! Thanks, and have fun!
  11. Hello again Trainers! I am confused on what type of request this falls under, and what thread, so I was hoping somebody could clarify. Anyhow, what I would like RNG'd and added to the Pokemon archive is a shiny, docile, 6iv flawless mew from faraway island. In this post I will include all of the numbers needed to reproduce it yourself on an emulated JP Emerald copy, frame by frame. I hope you have better luck at landing frames than I do. In that way, I guess I am like HaxAras. I have one final request for the held item. If it is not holding its default item, a Lum Berry, please give it one for authenticity of it being the most perfect Pokemon. Now, on to the Directions: Origin Game: Japanese Emerald OT Name: Iwata Species: 151: Mew Pokemon Seed: BF0B02AA PID: E85091A9 Initial Game Seed: 0 VBA-M-RR TID Generation Frame (plus BIOS intro): 4435 Clock Battery: Dead TID Seed: 835EFA48 (according to VBA-M-RR when using the RNG Script Suite for JP Emerald) RNG'able TID: 15575 Desired Compatible SID: 17710 Nature: Docile Caught location: 201: Faraway Island Met Level: 30 Level: 30: HP: 109: 31IV/0EV Attack: 74: 31IV/0EV Defense: 74: 31IV/0EV Special Attack: 74: 31IV/0EV Special Defense: 74: 31IV/0EV Speed: 74: 31IV/0EV Hidden Power Type: Dark Hidden Power Level: 70 Ability Slot: 1 Pokemon PID Generation Frame: 3886 Time: 1:04.76 Ball: Dive Ball Item: Lum Berry Enjoy the Mew, as I could not make it into a PKM without Kaphoptics' finest work, and please do send me the resulting PKM file. If you would, Please PokeBank it, and let me know how it reacts. I did not share the PKM file, as this is firstly the wrong thread, and possibly otherwise damaging to my reputation on the web. You are free to archive the Pokemon data files. For extra legitimacy (which I sort of half-care about), my challenge to you is to use suloku's tool, in dol format, without a permanently traceable modded console, (such as using please.hackmii.com or Wilbrand directly with the Gen III wonder card tool, on a virgin Wii if possible, otherwise, if taking on the challenge with a virgin Wii is too costly, just do the above on your hacked Wii without using bootmii or the HBC (it will be untraceable in the PKM. I prefer using PokeLoad on gc forever if you care about legitimacy. To flash the memcard for use with PokeLoad using gcmm without the HBC or Bootmii, just use Smash Stack with gcmm instead of hackmii, and then load the memcard up with your favorite working gc Pokemon game, and use the tool for max legitimacy. All RNG must be done in VBA-M-RR, so Fix94's link cable dumper must be loaded the same way for the highest legitimacy. For the most legitimacy, use the SD reader bundled with JP channel. Feasibly this complex setup simulates corrupted memory cards, and could very remotely happen if a wish maker Jirachi was caught at it's best shiny spread first time, first try.
  12. Hey folks, I'm doing some research on the Mersenne Twister RNG in Heartgold which is used for generating the PIDs of eggs. I'm just doing it to understand the logic which is used here. Right now I'm stuck with this look-up table thing. I read that about 600 numbers are generated by the twister and that there's an address for the frame counter, but where are the values stored? I tried getting a Pokémon from the daycare and compare it's PID with the number I generated externally with the given initial seed and got a match, but I don't understand where this and the next values come from in the games. The value at the address of the initial seed changes to something else after an egg is generated. Also chanigng the initial seed on game start doesn't change the outcome, so it must be stored previously, only question is where?

  15. What is better to create legal pokemon? I read the rng abused pkmn pass the nintendo turneament hack test, but the pkmn pokesaved no... It's the truth?
  16. So yeah, I've been reading up on RNGing for the Pokemon games and it's a bit confusing even after watching many youtube videos and following Smogon's Guides... I'm more confused though when it comes to using the RNG Reporter 9.96.5. What do all the options mean and how do I use them? Also I'm trying to do this with Eggs for B2/W2 (with an DS Lite and an action replay with a "Quick Hatching" code). What I'm asking is for detailed instructions on; 1.) Calibrating of the RNG Reporter and DS 2.) Using the RNG Reporter with its many options Also using images would be REALLY helpful and any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
  17. This is my first post on here and I do hope I did post it in the correct board and that it doesn't break any rules. Apologizing in advance in case I actually did something wrong without knowing I did. I've RNG abused on retail carts and R4s before, mostly for legends and shiny/nature of eggs. I haven't done a full blown egg IV RNG yet because NPCs in DPPT hate me (1 frame off when I calibrate for an odd frame, ALSO 1 frame off when I calibrate on an even frame) and I have yet to read up on how to properly abuse egg IVs on HGSS. So, recently I decided to give RNG a try again, but this time using emulators, because there are plenty of reasons to use them over retail and R4. However, before I start on doing so, I have a couple of questions. For those who have already done RNG using emulators, what emulator is the best for the job (I'm guessing DeSmuME, but I'm kinda unsure on which version to get)? Are there any changes in the steps taken for RNG abuse that to look out for? E.g. One slight difference that I know so far is that I have to change the computer's time and date as DeSmuME uses that for the time. What are some of the things I can do on emulators that retail and R4 carts can't do (or are much harder to do)? To put it simply, what are the differences between emulators vs. retail and R4 carts that can make RNG abuse easier? So far, the ones I can think of are - save states make it easier to hit the correct delays once time is set - the option to catch the same pokemon in a different pokeball multiple times without having to hit the same seed plenty of times Are there any other obvious advantages that I missed out? Do AR codes work on DeSmuME? Where can I find DPPT and HGSS codes that work on DeSmuME? I've seen people (KazoWAR in his "How to RNG Legends HGSS" videos to be exact) checking data using the memory viewer. It looks like pretty advanced stuff, but is there any guides or tips on how to make sense (and use) of it? Lastly, any tips and tricks in general on how to RNG abuse on emulators? I really appreciate any help given, even talking about your experiences with RNG abuse on emulators would be an eye opener for me. And for all the help given, I wouldn't mind giving back to the community (like posting RNGed pokemon on Bond's "Competitive Pokemon GTS Distribution" thread) if I ever make any good progress with RNG abuse on emulators. And thanks for taking the time to read this!
