    It's only in the demo, to showcase some of the Pokemon, and Probably to help prevent your team from fainting for the little kids. Wonder what would happen if you did though, since you start below Ecruteak, would you blackout to a Pokemon Center you have yet to visit? Just a thought. Anyway, for the demo, you start off on the route below Ecruteak with a team of three Pokemon, your starter and two others (pre set by what starter you pick, so I've heard, I don't know if you actually pick your starter or if it is just random.). Don't expect any of this for the actual game though. It will start almost exactly as GSC did, and fairly similar to all the other Pokemon handheld games as well. 1 starter, catch the rest as you go.

    Naw, I don't need Pokemon, I have all the ones I want right now. (At least untill HGSS) SINNOH 1333 6079 6703 If you just want to get it out of the way, I'm available now. It'll take less than 5 minutes once the trade starts.

    Nintendo USA is really pissing me off with not giving us the Platinum patch for Ranch. I have uploaded all of my Kanto, Hoenn, and Orre Pokemon to the ranch and I'm still about 100ish shy of filling it the second time around. Providing the Platinum patch would allow me to upload all my Sinnoh Pokemon (I won't do it if I can't deposit all the forms) with the extra 500 spaces. After that, all that is missing is the Jotho Pokemon, and those will have to wait till HGSS, but then i still couldn't upload them without another patch and more upload space (500 like Platinum, or another 1000 since there are two versions?). -.- Their desire to keep the patch from us has seriously made me consider homebrewing with my Wii, but I prefer to keep that to the handhelds. On topic anyway,... I have to wonder just how many Pokemon will be available via the Pokewalker... I may have to start another collection for them similar to the way I did for Orre.

    We already knew all of that, and we've already agreed that we know that. The argument now is just for fan curiosity of the likely candidates for PokeDeath in the fire.

    I just assumed it was without question that the new berries would be used. Downgrading would have been asinine. lol As for the trees's being a one-a-day event, it doesn't really matter, as every tree in every screen shot is a Apricorn Tree, even the ones that should have been a Berry Tree from the original has changed. It's most likely that we will just get berries from NPCs, the Berry Master dude, Wild Pokemon, and the Pokewalker. Though I personally don't see how hard it is just to add in a couple of loamy soil patches around the region, mostly where the original berries were, plus some new spots so you can grow more fo a variety. They already made a lot of changes as it is, using the Berry Planter instead seems unneeded. (Unless people are now too lazy to walk to where they planted their berries. lol)

    I like them, I'd totally love them more if they just removed the shine from them though. Just use a solid color inside the version part. I don't care which they pick Dark or light blue for Silver, or red/orange for Gold, but the shine they added kind of makes it difficult to "read" (Not that you can't tell what it says, but it just unnecessarily obscures what should be a simple function for the logo.).

    Yeah, its possible, but the person doing so would be doing the job of the people at Nintendo who are translating all the text, and they won't be getting paid for it. You can't just edit the ROM to display English text, you would have to translate the text and then change it manually in the ROM bit by bit. I'm sure someone will do it (at least a partial translation of the items, Pokemon, and stuff that will be the same as DPPt) as there were patches for Diamond and Pearl before the US got them, as well as a Platinum patch to display the English text that was the same as in DP. But don't expect it too soon after release.

    The Safari Zone becoming a Pal Park has been brought up before, but as for it being too far into the game, not really. The Pal Park in Sinnoh wasn't available until after you beat the game/Elite 4. After you beat the Elite 4 in Johto, you can head to Kanto, and you already have all the HMs and high leveled Pokemon to easily make your way there in a couple of minutes if you do nothing but head straight there (its only like 2 towns: Vermilion->Saffron->Celadon->Fuchsia). Pokemon Sunday aired, fairly boring and nothing new really. It showed the overworld animation for picking Apricorns (the tree shakes a couple of times and the Apricorn pops into the air off the tree, and onto your character sprite). It then showed Kurt and the Apricorn Ball sprites, as well as how the Apricorn Shaker works to boost your Pokemon's stats for the Pokethlon. It finished up with a little bit of info on the Berry Planter, though I don't remember if they just showed a bit of it, or if it was a demonstration of how it worked. ----------- New trailer on the official site.     Your theory still has the same hole in it. Even IF they were already the Beast Trio, and Lv. 1, all three of them wouldn't have died. While Suicune maybe a water type, it lacks a water attack. But at the very least, Entei wouldn't have perished from the fire. It is a fire type, capable of spewing flames as hot as magma, which is much hotter than the flames of a burning building. Not to mention fire types can't be burned by fire, therefor Entei cannot BURN TO DEATH. The fallacy renders the theory null. Not that the theory makes sense anyway. The legend says that the towns people of Ecruteak were scared of the beasts that rose from the ashes after they saw Ho-Oh reincarnate them. Why would they be scared of the Beast Trio then, but not before, it stands to reason that they were Pokemon without great power beforehand.

    No, that would just be completely redundant. You are telling me that RAIKOU, ENTEI, and SUICUNE... were killed by a fire? Entei is a fire type and Suicune is a water type, neither of which help your theory at all, as they could handle the flames. And while Raikou may be an electric type, it still learns Rain Dance, and is a Legendary to boot. It wouldn't get trapped by a fire. The whole legend is about the loss of innocent life being granted a second chance in a new more powerful/durable form. What is the point if they were Legends already?

    It's more about symbolizing my greed, than a tribute to the series. lol Though I suppose that its no coincidence that Greed is also the most awesome badass of the Homunculi, the original Greed at least. Lin-Greed isn't bad either, more so in recent chapters though.

    Don't be lazy, read the other posts. It would have taken you like 10 minutes. The debate is on what checks Platinum makes in order for a Shamin to transform, because a Shaymin from D/P won't.

    I don't think he ever said the video was already made, just that he was participating in a league that won't allow hacks (aka they need to pass the GTS Vid uploader, since it is the most extensive checker we have), so his Pokemon must be legal for future battles within said league. Or so that's how I interpreted it. If the video is already made, then almost everything said in this topic by everyone is basically pointless. lol

    Don't put words in my mouth, I never said you were stupid, I'm just telling you to fix the Pokemon that has the problem. I never said what you did wrong, but something IS wrong. You may know how to use Pokesav, but you aren't doing EVERYTHING correct. Somewhere along the line in making your Pokemon, you aren't filling in something or are filling in something wrong. A Pokesav'd Poke, if done completely right, will pass the GTS video recorder just as if it were a legitimate Pokemon. Don't go blaming the GTS if you don't fully understand all aspects of the program you are using and what you are trying to create.

    We've already kinda discussed that in multiple topics related to the event. Fly is the obvious choice based on the art, but the Balloon Pika has appeared in promotional art before for no apparent reason when no Flying Pika was given out. We'll have to wait and see.

    I feel like I'm one of the only people who appreciates the difference between these logos and the dozen or so we've had in the past with the same font. The Japanese logo's for every Pokemon game are unique, and now we finally get a similar treatment. I'm not saying these are the best we could have gotten, but I REALLY appreciate the effort. On another note, I am really surprised that these remakes kept the little Ho-Oh heart and Lugia soul, since FRLG got rid of the little flame and leaf symbol. I'm happy about that.

    Why not just fix whats wrong on the Pokemon instead? I have no idea if I am right or not, but looking at how much trouble these guys have been having trying to determine just how extensive the GTS checking is, I assume its the Nintendo servers that check the Pokemon and Videos, and not the game. So editing the hex values probably wouldn't solve your problem anyway? Anyone more knowledgeable on the subject feel free to correct me and smack me back into place. lol
