Actually, it's a perfect assumption. It is 100% up to the thread maker to state what clauses are being used and what environment is being played in. The OP failed to do that, and only difference really is "no legendaries". So when one sees a thread with unstated rules, and 4/6 Pokemon falling into the OU tier, it's a fair assumption to rate as if it is being played in the standard tier.

So despite being presented with multiple, well thought out posts of why Shuckle is not fitting in on this team (at least as a lead), and suggestions to either remove it or add sand to benefit it, apparently are ignored. With only "Shucke stays no questions asked." Part of making a thread here is you have to be open to change and criticism. You have to be open to using Pokemon you don't "like" (IE your no legends rule) and that the Pokemon you chose for the job (IE Shucke as a lead) isn't the best, and you have to be willing to work with that, and improve your team. If you could provide a convincing argument about why Shuckle is a great lead for your team, then we'd all accept that. But you haven't, and appeared to have ignored all the advice posted. So since this is really only Rate-Half-My-Team, I'm closing this. Better luck next time, and much thanks to Golgross and Toffe for their input.

The only Darkrai currently available, outside of the various events, is the Japanse Platinum Darkrai. No other countries have gotten the Member's Card, as of now. We can all hope that eventually Europe, US, and Australia will get them. But right now, there's no word on it.

Ok, "bigger screen." Possibilities aren't endless. Trading and battling is just not as good, if even existant, on console games compared to the GameFreak made DS ones. Add onto that that Nintendo's Wi-Fi service is very laggy on popular games. Imagine 15 million people trying to trade Pokemon on the Wii? You're very likely wrong. Unless you live in Japan and/or speak Japanese, you've probably never read anything official from Game Freak. Part of Pokemon's appeal is the connectivity it has to everyone else that plays it. Currently, the interactivity that is done on the DS just can't be done on consoles. Add onto that the relative inexpensive games compared to console versions, and that is the basis of Pokemon. And a personal appeal of Pokemon is it's a game you can pick up, play for 5 minutes, save, and pick right back up where you left off in an hour, day, or whatever. A console game does not have that option. And then actually suggesting Game Freak, a company that has only produced for handheld Nintendo systems, to drop everything and start learning how to produce for a completely new system? That's a steep learning curve and isn't worth it besides the semi-ridiculous "all regions in one game" notion.

You're putting yourself at a disadvantage for no reason if you go by that clause, especially since almost no one follows it. Zapdos would be a great benefit to your team. It's one of the bulkiest flying types around with a great movepool.

Eh, I'll check it myself later in the week when I get the handful of non-Plat Flower Paradise Shaymins I have off of my Ranch. Anyway, I hope you're right, it just runs contrary to what I've heard from multiple sources.

As far as I know, any Shaymin, regardless of it being legit or not, can USE the Flower. Only Shaymin with a Fateful Encounter flag can RECEIVE it.

But it really is only worth discussing/posting about if there is some small bit of information to go on. ^^Moltres is not a threat an OU team needs to factor. Mainly because it loses 50% from SR.

Taunt week, which basically is almost all Suicide Leads, most Anti-Lead/Fake Out lead, and also very weak to the rare but deadly Trick-Choice lead. And even then, it can't do anything to Metagross except hope they don't Roar you out or Encore. The only way this set works is if they SR first and you Encore. All that being said, if Shuckle wants to wall, and I mean REALLY wall, it isn't as a lead. And it needs to have sand up. Rock types get a 50% special defense boost in sand. Get a new lead. You're going to fall short of several 2HKOs without Life Orb. Unless you're running a Rain Dance team, no reason to hold Damp Rock. -Z can't afford to miss. Thunderbolt over Thunder. Fine nd standard as is Metagross Yeah, Probopass is NU for a reason. It's typing sucks. Probopass is doing nothing for your team. Get rid of it. Zapdos would me a good replacement. Elevates your bit of ground weakness, generally bulky, can run Rain-Dance-Thunder if you wish, good check on Scizor, and so on. You really need a check on Gyarados because you currently don't. I'm sure someone less tired could provide a better rate.

PKMN files are impossible to be legit, since you use an outside device to obtain them. They are legal. If you want legit, you need to breed yourself/capture it yourself/attend the event yourself.

Of course, almost no one runs Impish on Scizor. It's got decent enough defensive stats + Iron Defense and Roost. But many other Pokemon are much more suited for taking hits/team support. Scizor is built to be offensive. I think Rapid Spinners are common enough in OU (with many OU major threats losing 25% such as Zapdos, Gyarados, Salamence, Dragonite along with the many generally frail Pokemon who don't like entrance hazards). You wouldn't have to change a team too much to put Ho-Oh in it. You would have to to counter it. And it's definately bulky enough that it could probably force switches often, and either Roost or Sub on the switch. And with a 50% burn rate, it's a risk to switch in even fire resists. Swampert and Tyranitar won't enjoy the cut in attack, Starmie will switch out due to Natural Cure, and the one who could absorb it, Heatran, can't do anything back unless it carried the rarely used (in OU anyway) HP Rock. I saw this thread on the same subject over at Smogon's forums. It deserves a look, I guess, but Ho-Oh is so ridiculously powerful. It would easily shake up the metagame.

I read it. Don't be a jerk about it. As I insinuated originally and I'll expand upon now, gamefreak doesn't make the non-DS games. All of the console games are made by licensed 3rd parties, permission via Nintendo. and they've ranged from Mediocre to awful. What's the point of a console game anyway that the main games aren't doing? Better graphics?

Nintendo doesn't make the core Pokemon games. Game Freak does. Game Freak has said, many times, that they have no plans to ever make Pokemon for home consoles. Satoshi Tajiri made Pokemon specifically for the Gameboy. And there, and it's advancements such as the DS, it'll stay.

You can lower. Adding EVs won't apply. The berries will still work (the one that add 10 EVs for a certain stat), but you won't see the dispalyed stat # change. Trust me, you can't EV train a level 100 Pokemon. Once it's level 100, you can TAKE AWAY any EVs there,but that's it.

That doesn't work. for EVs to apply, it must be able to gain levels. It might technically be EV trained, but it won't be reflected in the stats.

I don't want that to be my overall message. But that, right now, there's little, if any, consistence in quality of writing, editing, fact checking, sourcing, and templates. I think we really should restrict who has access over editing the Wiki until it becomes a bit more organized. And I would imagine the Wiki has an Admin, etc...but honestly I have no idea who they are. I don't think I've heard of any enforcement for poorly written or poorly sourced articles.

Could you expland on what this means? You mean like a pre-determined design for a page? What a page should look like? Also, I agree with you on the "credits." Totally annoying. Just check the history page, seriously. And I agree with you about the "I" stuff. These are wiki pages, not FAQs. But I think we need templates.

Ok, this is going to come across as a rant. But I could spend all day editing and come close to no progress, becuase this Wiki is just in a sad state. Just clicking random page: http://projectpokemon.org/wiki/EP036 Let's pretend you never heard of the Pokemon anime. This Wiki page would leave you wondering stuff like: What the hell is this about? What journey? What heroes? What's Sunnytown? Why do they need to go to Sunnytown? Knowing it's about an anime episode brings in even more ponderings, such as: What's the episodes title? What Pokemon were featured? (reading it, you can't even tell it's about Pokemon) After a few more random page clicks from the same editor having the same problems, I come across this gem: http://projectpokemon.org/PPwiki/index.php?title=Pokemon_breeding&action=history "I" statements in a Wiki? No one cares. The article is about Pokemon breeding, not Behind the Scenes of PP's Wiki. The grammar, spelling, and overall quality of writing looks like it was done by a junior high school student. These "Credits" pages are annoying. Wiki's a group effort, and your contribution to it might be edited or deleted entirely in an hour. These aren't reliable. If you need to use it to link to a source, do so. But don't glorify yourself or others by putting a PP's members name there. As I said, I could honestly spend all day re-writing these articles and make next to no progress. We need quality control. So, first off: We need admins for the Wiki that have power to...I dunno, mass edit stuff, warn people for making crappy edits/articles, and so on. This is part of the problem, that any random person off the street can come in, write an article, and their poorly researched or poorly spelled article can sit there for weeks without anyone noticing. In some cases, they get "Wiki Contributor" recognition, despite the fact that their edits are poorly done. And until that happens, I really think we should re-consider letting just anyone edit. It's clear that many people who put these articles up have no idea how to write. They're breaking the very basics of Wiki writing, such as inserting opinion/bias, I statements, crediting themselves, and almost never citing a source. That isn't to say they don't ahve the potential, but right now, they're doing more harm than good.

Arceus cant' be EV trained since it's at level 100. It's stats depend on what IVs you get when you generate the Wonder Card.
