Project Pokémon's Forum User Ranks Staff Ranks: - Administrator - Assistant Administrator - Super Moderator - Moderator - Event Staff - News Team - Former Staff IRC Ranks: - IRC Owner: Owner of the site's IRC. - IRC SOP: Super Op User on the site's IRC. - IRC AOP: Op User on the site's IRC. - IRC HOP: HalfOp User on the site's IRC. - IRC VOP: Voice User on the site's IRC. Contributor Ranks: - Image Contributor: User contributes images to the site that are implemented for use. - Event Contributor: User contributes Event Pokémon to the site. - Site Contributor: User who adds to the site significantly. - Forum Contributor: User who significantly contributes to the design of the forum. - Wiki Contributor: User contributes high quality articles to the wiki. Ranks: - Helpful Q&A Member: User who has significantly posted helpful posts and aids users in need often. - Helpful Request Member: User who has given custom works to people such as custom Signature Requests, Pokésav Requests, etc. - Team Rater: User who contributes often in "Rate My Team" discussions as well as helping in "Rate My Team"s.

I'm not sure how well this is going to go down, but I saw that the forums only had 3 styles to chose from: HeartGold vB4 Default Style Mobile vB4 And because there isn't a Soulsilver theme, I got thinking: I have no idea how this is going to work (someone is going to have to figure out that), but maybe people could create their own style/themes and upload them here. Then a Moderator/Admin (or whoever has the power) to add them to the list. Questions, comments?

Hey everyone, here's my current Platinum team, I'm ashamed to say that my strategy isn't overly complex, and that might leave the team slightly less than top par, but I'm not 100% sure of that, so C&C welcome. The idea is to use Bronzong and Blissey as Meatshields while switching in favourable Sweepers to take care of enemy threats, than have Salamence Outrage to finish off whats left. Metagross @Occa Berry EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Adamant Nature -Stealth Rock -Meteor Mash -Bullet Punch -Explosion My standard opener in my last few teams, I have him lay down Stealth Rocks (of course) and then if they aren't resistant to steel I use meteor mash, followed by bullet punch if i survive. Otherwise I just either switch out or explode (which is especially useful if their opener is a threat) Blissey @Leftovers EVs: 148 HP / 252 Def / 108 SAtk Bold Nature Ability: Natural Cure -Ice Beam -Seismic Toss -Softboiled -Aromatherapy A large fluffy pink wall is the best way to describe her IMO, and that is just how I use her. Softboiled keeps her alive, Aromatherapy is great when you switch out a sleeper (sleep in particular is the bane of my existence) or any other status effect. Seismic Toss is very reliable and makes up for her lack of Atk, and Ice Beam has a lot of coverage, along with her not too bad SAtk. Infernape @Choice Scarf EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature -Close Combat -Flare Blitz -Stone Edge -U-Turn Now onto the Sweepers. The point of Infernape is to hit things fast and hard. After killing something, I then U-Turn and high tail it outta there, usually for Blissey or a different Sweeper. Starmie @Choice Specs EVs: 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature Ability: Natural Cure -Surf -Thunderbolt -Ice Beam -Psychic This girl is great for switch ins, because she hasn't got an enormous number of weaknesses, and her coverage always catches people off guard. I've found that its not really possible to prepare for an all round moveset like this, so she can switch in and super effect almost anything. Gengar @Life Orb EVs: 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature -Shadow Ball -Thunderbolt -Focus Blast -Hypnosis Like Starmie, Gengar has great coverage, but with the Life Orb instead of Specs, he can Super effect one pokemon after another, and if there is one he is helpless against, I throw out a quick Hypnosis, if it works I switch out, if not, he dies and I switch out anyway . Salamence @Life Orb EVs: 252 Atk / 6 SAtk / 252 Spd Naughty Nature -Outrage -Earthquake -Fire Blast -Dragon Dance And last but most certainly not least, the monster himself. Salamence is there to jump in after all threats to him have been nullified and wipe up the mess. He's reasonably fast, very strong, and Outrage does brutal amounts of damage. All in all a great finisher. I don't get much chance to play 6v6 as Battle Rev is 3v3 only, and I don't know many people online (I'm hoping that will change) so as I said at the start any comments are most welcome.

I am looking at this Pokemon forum, and I see that there is not much activity that occurs around here, but I'll give everyone one last chance to convince me otherwise. This has probably been brought up before but I would just like to say: That there needs to be a Rate My Team sub forum in Competitive Battling main forum, having a single thread for posting teams makes things messy and inconvenient, having a dedicated forum for posting rate my team threads would remedy this. If such a thing is considered then I would recommend these rules. Unless stated your team must consist of 6 pokemon, 1 from a different species (now more than one lucario per team for example). There should be no ubers in your team unless you are posting a uber tier team. Teams must follow this format: Pokemon @ Items Ability Nature EVs Moveset - Moveset 1 - Moveset 2 - Moveset 3 - Moveset 4 When posting your rmt thread have some actual words to say about your choices, what they do for your team and why they do it, one line sentances does not help the rater get an idea on why you chose your members. Have a strategy for your team, posting 6 random OU or any other tier Pokemon does not get you anywhere, if it is an offensive team, tell us why it is an offensive team, is it bulky offense? Avoid posting the same old repetitive team you posted before. Something along those lines would improve the quality of the comepetive battling forum and make things more organized.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, but I was looking around for a place where we might be able to discuss the chat etc. like if we have problems connecting. The reason I came up with this idea is because, while attempting to connect to the network I got this error message: (1:29:46 pm) * Connecting to irc.defianceuo.com (6667) (1:29:47 pm) * Unable to connect to server (Connection refused) So yeah, if anyone can help it'd be greatly appriciated Thanks.

The Wiki is still a very preliminary part of the site, so we can use as many contributors as we can get! By default, all users are able to edit and create their own Wiki pages. If you decide that you want to contribute, please do not copy content from any other site. All your content must be 100% original. By contributing quality information on a constant basis you can even earn the contributor rank on the forums. I would like to also point out that this new synchronization will not work in the opposite manner. That means you cannot create a Wiki account and then expect the username and password to work on the forums. That is all for now! Enjoy!
