Greetings, I'd like to ask for help about editing my generation 3 sav files (FRLG and Emerald), I can't seem to modify/change a pokemon ability in generation 3 sav files, but I was able to do it with generation 4 sav files using pokehax. I just want to know what's wrong and why I can't modify pokemon ability in gen 3 sav; I've already tried using other sav editors like a-save, and pokecrafter to no avail. I'd really appreciate if someone can help me solve this since I've been stuck with this problem for more than 2 weeks now. Thanks in advance.

How do I convert *.pkx to *.ekx, x being 4, 5, 6, or 7? I'm trying to write a program in Visual Basic, and I need it to be able to encrypt *.pkx files into *.ekx files. The problem is I can't figure out how.

I'm a bit unsure about this. Do I need to give the egg the OT, TID and SID of the game it is going to hatch in and then just click the shiny button or is there something more complicated to do.

I'm having trouble finding the Team Plasma Themes on the Theme Shop in the US. They were supposed to be released in the US on February 1st, 2018. It is these themes here that I am looking for: I have no Idea if I'm in the right place for this kind of topic, but if anyone can help me and/or notify me of when they do get released, I'd appreciate it. So, I have been trying to make a pokemon black ROM hack where you play as brendan, and I've gotten the battle back sprite to work, but when I inject my edited overworld sprites into a/0/7/9.narc, I start the game, it gives me the pokemon logo, fades to black, and stays black. Nothing will load. I've included the sprites i'm using along with the NARC file. Please tell me what I've done wrong! https://www.dropbox.com/s/l0hkc8w9z34zth6/sprites.zip?dl=0 EDIT: I got the game to load this time, but now all of the menu options appear without any text, and selecting anything causes it to freeze on a black screen. Also just tried it with White 1 (Not volt white) And it freezes again on a black screen after the pokemon logo. It seems that there are only issues when i inject a/0/7/9.

Hi guy, i'm Yumeii. Ok, this is my problem, my pc cant installed net framework 4.6 'cause my system's pc not enough, it can install 4.5 and i can only use PKHeX ver 11/18/17 while lastest PKHeX ver. need Net framework 4.6. Next time, USUM will release and i worry i cant hax USUM on my pc. Pls release New ver pkhex support NF 4.5. How i can fix this problem, i just want hax USUM like everyone in my group help me pls - Sorry if my grammar wrong, i can write and speak little bit sorry guys

Hello all! I hope I am asking my question in the right spot, this is actually the first forum I have ever posted on. I have been trying sprite editing for the first time ever. Been trying to edit Pokemon Platinum and this site has been a huge help. All the tools and advice really top notch and even mostly still work on Windows 10. But what I have not been able to find is how to edit that darn little sprite that shows up over that black bar when you use a HM move in the overworld and pulls the ball out of his pocket. I'll use a HM with my edited sprite, the black bar will zoom in, and the sprite i am looking to edit show up over top the black bar. Then if I use fly it will still be that sprite until he puts the ball back into his pocket. There was a sprite that looked exactly like him in the mmodel.narc that I tried editing by exporting/reinserting with the BTX Editor but this little jerk is still the lucas sprite. I have used Nitro Explorer and Tinke to look all over the other narc files in the rom but cannot find any hint of where he is. This is the last big thing I want to edit and I hope someone in here may know how to do this. Thanks!

Since this isn't a Rom Hack (or at least not yet, but may be one at one point), I thought I'd post here. Alright, here we go: We (Pokemon Perfect) are looking for Spriters to help us put our Fakemons on our Server. Our forum is mainly focussed on competitive play, and so, at one point, our Forums Flareon Disaster Area had the idea to create a balanced, fun Meta with self crafted Pokemon. After all, that is the best way to play a meta, right? In advance, we gathered Users that are capable of coding and creating balanced Sets, new attacks and bring over ideas. I, myself, just got involved very recently in it, as it looks like we are about to be at the last stage of the project. We had one problem though: We lacked a spriter. Thus, we discussed about what can be done to overcome that problem. And that´s where you (hopefully) become involved. I just noticed that transferred pokemon are not working properly from gen 2 vc games. Here is a scizor from generation 2 vc, the legality check says it is legal, but when I try and use it online, it says "there is a problem with one or more of your pokemon" even though it says it's legal. Legal! === Valid Move 1: Learned by Level-up. Valid Move 2: Learned by TM/HM. Valid Move 3: Learned by TM/HM. Valid Move 4: Learned by TM/HM in Generation 2. Valid Relearn Move 1: Valid. So after catching all of the legendaries. I reset all of the legendary flags so that i may shiny hunt for them all of them. they reseted except for latios as i can't access Southern island even though i have the eon ticket. is their another flag i need to uncheck for it to work?

Hello, and thanks for reading this. 30 minutes ago I tried to get a shiny Rayquaza from the PKHeX mistery gift database (it was from an event), but while taking a look at it, in the moves section, the moves showed correctly on the top, but in the "Relearn moves" section there were no moves (it said "none" in all of them). When I tried to put the moves there manually, it marked the pokemon as illegal. Should I ignore the "Illegal" warning or trust PKHeX and leave the "Relearn section" with all four "None"? Is this a bug? Thanks in advance!

I want to edit the pokemon on mySD card on my computer. I have PKSM on my DS and I have PKHex on my computer but when I press Y on the DS nothing happens, what am I missing? Simple explaining please. I presume if I can send my pokemon wireless from my DS to the computer I can send them back wireless too, if someone could explain that too, I would grateful. Thanks

Hey everyone, With the new PKHex update I noticed a ton of my GEN 3-5 mons have some errors "Invalid: Encounter Type PID mismatch" and "Invalid: Can't have ball for encounter type. I've tried the latter with different Pokeballs and it still wont work, and I have read about using RNG Reporter and I downloaded it but I have no idea what to do with it, can anyone please explain how to fix my mons? I have like a hundred or so that need fixing. Also, will PKHex be adding the gen 3-5 algorithm? -

I'm trying to randomize a Pokemon x cia. I moved it onto my SD card and decrypted it with godmode9 then I extracted it with HackingToolkit3DS When I tried to randomize wild encounters but it gave me this Could not get the GARC: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at pk3ds.Garcutil.garcUnpack(String garrcPath, String outPath, Boolean skipDecompression, ProgressBar pBar1, Label label, Boolean supress, Boolean bypassExt) in C:\BuildAgent\work\b93f10d1a1178\pk3DS\GarcUtil.cs:line 104 at pk3DS.Main.getGarc(String infile, String outfolder, boolean PB, Boolean bypassExt) in C:\BuildAgent\work\b93f10d1a1178\pk3DS\Main.cs:line 1175 After I press okay it still lets me randomize that part, so I did. I randomize Pokemon types as well and I recompile the CIA Then I encrypt it with GodMode9 and install the CIA with FBI. when I load the game I get an error saying something like prefetch abort and I won't run until I update it. Once I do the encounters haven't been randomized but the typing has. I've tried multiple times but I'm tied to compiling and encrypting and installing over and over. I've already spent ten hours on this and most of it was waiting. I have Luma3ds8.0 What am I doing wrong? I've tried multiple sources of the CIA I've reinstalled everything at least twice. Could someone help me?

Hello everyone. I need some help into transfering Pokémon from Diamond into my Emerald. Why? Because I transfered they as a kid, but I want they back, I still have both games without new game and it would be amazing to see they back into Hoenn. I know that officially isn't possible to transfer backwards, but since days ago I know that is possible doing this: This is from @BlackShark, from this threat: I don't know if anyone can do a program to do this, or a little guide step by step with images, I tried to do this by myself but I wasn't capable to convert the files. So I'm trying to increase the rate in a HGSS rom (or rather Drayano's Storm Silver). I know there's an AR code for 100% shiny encounters, but that's not what I'm looking for. I've seen a similar topic on here but I don't know anything about editing roms so I didn't understand it. I'm not interested in learning to edit roms on a large scale; I just want to change the shiny rate. Can anyone explain this process step by step? I have been trying to generate a landurous but its not working. gets the error "current handler cannot be past gen OT for transferred specimen." I changed the name of both the ot and the current trainer it still does not fix my issue. How do I fix this 645-01 - Landorus - 0C53A1196A4D.pk7

Every time I go to input a smogon set on a Pokemon from a older Gen it says "EC should match PID" Here's a picture for a better understanding:
