1. It's three weeks later, now. Does this mean you aren't leaving?
2. It's a "commemorative anniversary ribbon."
3. It looks like the Eevee Collection event will be returning to Pokemon Centers in December of this year. It was also in December last year, if you forgot. No word yet on whether this will be simply merchandising, or if there will be an Eevee distribution like last year. Also, it seems there may be a focus on Espeon and Umbreon of the 2nd generation because in the marketing materials and logo, they are facing each other, rather than forward as the rest are (and how they all were last year).
4. They'll show up as "Unknown GBA" in legal.exe. And yeah, if you can get some celebis, that would be cool.
5. There's something I've been meaning to look at, but I need some help since I'm not playing through SoulSilver. If anyone has .sav files from SS saved just before battling Lugia, Ho-oh, and Groudon, I'd appreciate it if you'd be so kind to share those with me. :wink:
6. It's the same Shaymin. But in the US it was distributed at TRU... It's the same thing.
7. .... I know it's gonna be over-said, but where is PBR 2? PBR came out shortly after the release of DP, so.......
8. This was directed at you, Sabre. Do you have plans to go back further that what is on that list with credits?
9. I've got mine on Platinum. It isn't impossible. After you get four stars, the nurse at the Pokemon Center starts to refer to you by name.
10. Good luck, guys? YOU're the algorithm expert here... ;
11. I'll say it again, cause people evidently still missed it. The short overalls are VERY in-style in Japan right now. And YES, people WOULD wear shorts that short. Girls of ALL ages do so. The big hat is also in style, too. But it's not THAT big.
12. Her name isn't Soul. If anyone is named Soul, it's the boy (based on officially released footage).
13. Yeah, I realized that as I was walking down the street after leaving my apartment after posting that. What I was originally thinking is that you could analyze the place where the PokeWalker pokemon was stored on the save file by using a rom sav, but ... then I realized there's probably no way to know WHERE that is on the sav file unless a pokemon IS already there... which would require the IR functions... ;
14. Monkey! Good to see you again, and I'm glad to see you're a part of this discussion, since we were both so excited about the 'Walker. Anyway, Couldn't someone just analyze a sav file from a ROM? Like... someone who is playing the game on an emulator or flashcart? And also, you can dump pkm files from an HGSS sav file using the most recent (albeit extremely basic) version of COM's HGSS Pokesav. I've got over half a box of PokeWalker Pikachu on my retail HGSS cart, I just need to trade them to either DP/Plat or my flashcart HGSS but then I'll have a few that somene could study, but judging from my level of free time (haven't even played the normal game in a WEEK), I doubt I'll be able to get to it soon... someone will beat me to it, if they're ambitious. But from the one or two I've looked at, I also think the PokeWalker uses an algorithm different from normal Pokemon. Lastly, doesn't the official site give the frequency or whatever specs on the PokeWalker? I'll check it out later, running out of time. Gotta catch a train.
15. Hey Dante, Do you (or anyone else for that matter) have an SS save file saved right before Groudon?
16. Being updated. You sure wrote a huge essay here. It's not a conspiracy, the section is just in the process of being re-designed. Be patient.
17. Pokesav doesn't support whatever data is used to determine Pichu's alternate form. It's impossible at the moment. Also, it's not called notched, so I'll edit your post, too.
18. From my experience, it seems to me like the data is most likely stored somewhere else in the sav until the Pokemon returns back to the game. This seems to be the most logical. And then pokemon you caught are generated upon their return. I was planning on doing some checking into whether or not Pokewalker pokemon match any known algorithms with Sabre's program, but haven't gotten that far yet.
19. Well, it's not notched, and you CAN'T see a notch if you look closely, so I've editing your topic title to fit what appears to be the real English name. Oddly enough, if you would have kept that image file name as it was when you saved it, you would have learned the correct English name. Furthermore... "Spiky-ear Pichu" was actually one of the choices I suggested as a better translation when all this started. ; Fenzo said it didn't sound very good, so we stuck with Jagged. Hahaha. Oops!
20.

Because it were done sneaky-like.

21. Like I said. Someone could have taken a NORMAL Pokewalker Pikachu and added FLY to it. THat way, it WOULD look identical to the ones you have. Or they could have made up an entire moveset. You (and I both) do NOT know what the Flying Pikachu moveset is supposed to be. I caught another "rare" Pikachu (not flying) and it had TWO special moves. ---------- Post added at 10:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 AM ---------- As for the "normal" ones... None of the Pikachu I've caught look like that.
