I’m trying to make a custom sprite for the Pokémon black 2 and white 2 male protagonist for my first step into the ROMhack scene, and I have no idea what I’m doing. The first step would be to make edits of the sprite and then replace them in the file location and make sure the game reads them correctly, but I have no idea how to do that. Any guidance on where to go to learn more or any general advice is welcomed, I’m as new to this as it gets.

It has come to attention that the faithful Global Link will be shutting down soon. However, battle teams from QR code Pokemon will be lost with this. Other Pokemon somehow related to this feature may be lost as well. I hope these Pokemon may have a way to be extracted that we may attempt to save as many as we can of these. How can we embark on this undertaking across from not only the Global Link but QR code teams scattered everywhere? This is not my expertise, but I will endeavor to save these Pokemon however possible.

PLEASE HELP I have a 3rd generation save editor called A-Save. I have completed Pokemon FireRed and exported all of my Pokemon as .pkm files, and then imported them to my PC in Pokemon Emerald. Now, I have just completed Pokemon Emerald, and exported all of those Pokemon as .pkm files. Next, I want to play Pokemon Platinum. So I open up my Platinum Pokesav, load my .sav file, select edit under storage, select load box and it says, "ERROR Wrong file type". Now, it cant be the wrong file type because A-Save exported them as .pkm files and Pokesav Should accept .pkm files. I don't want to migrate the pokemon from emerald to platinum and risk losing them, I'd also have to beat the game first to do that. Please help. If it makes any difference, I used Visual Boy Advance for FireRed and Emerald, and I plan on using No$GBA for Platinum and SoulSilver. Thank you

I've successfully saved "pokemon (from tabs)" and generated their AR codes to my ROM's cheat list, but I don't know how to activate them. I'm wondering if I need a pokegen "[save file]" in order to achieve this process. Is there some step I'm leaving out? I'm really confused and I've wanted to export perfect pokemon to my Heart Gold ROM for quite some time now.. could someone please help me? -
I was just wondering. Is it possible to, for example, extract a save file from Pokemon Black and import it into Pokemon White on Desmume? Are the save files for both game versions in the same format to the point where I can import one save file into both games? Or does the save file from one version only work for that specific version? I'm hesitant to check for myself and find a "file corrupt" message while I'm playing. -
Well? How about we make a Pokemon File Storage Database? We do what others cannot do ALL the time! Who's with me? UNRESOLVED! Back when this site was pokesav.org, I played around with pokesav. A lot. Now, I've forgotten a bunch of information. So, my question: What should I name my sav files? I mean, for ALL of the games pokesav supports. Why I ask: I, for some reason, cannot start the game from the beginning. Screenshot

Hello, I have been using PokeSav for sometime to make my life more convinient like in breeding and such to check IV stats and so on. However, now as I live in Japan I wanted to be a part of the Shaymin event since I missed the one we had here. But for some reason, no matter what changes I do to my Platina file, the DS keeps saying the save file is corrupt. I know to use the Platina version for Platina save files but still this happen? What can I be doing wrong.. or "better" ? Thank you in advance!

Again, I'm guessing this site used to be called www.pokesav.org. I remember that there used to be a section where you could download the different Wonder Card files from different Pokemon Events (e.g. TRU, GameStop). Have they been removed or relocated on this site?

So, I had a lot of issues trying to get my Pokesav to display Japanese. I finally did all the stuff with installing fonts and running appLocale and converting non-Unicode programs to Japanese, and when I got it to work at last, it wouldn't load my .sav file. It always had before with no conversion, so this seemed strange. I converted the .sav file and edited the Pokémon I needed to edit, but when I went to save it, it said "Error - Wrong File Type". I tried everything I could think of, even using Japanese Pokesav, but I can't figure out how to save my .pkm files now. Please help? ---------- Post added at 05:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:21 AM ---------- Yeah, now it's just completely denying me the ability to save .pkm files at all... did I somehow break Pokesav? o_O; ---------- Post added at 06:50 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:40 AM ---------- Okay, after a few restarts and language setting changes, it seems it will only save .pkm files when run in English (no appLocale), so it won't let me save a Pokémon with a Japanese name ("?????"). It also only forces me to convert the .sav when run with appLocale. Otherwise it's fine and just like it's always been. This wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't want to toy with Japanese-only event Pokémon so badly. Any ideas how to get around this...?

Hi guys, I'm opening pokesav with applocale and i can't load pcd/pgt files and an error occurs saying:Wrong file type.I have been trying to use short names in my pcd/pgt files but the error remains.This happens in both japanese and us pokesav.Thanks in advance

Just as the title says, what I mean is that is there any way I can get my save from R4DS flashcart transfered into my copy of Pokemon Platinum by using softwares? If I can do so, what software(s) do I need to have? -
Hello, I'm trying to load a .pkm file on the mystery gift edit... however, whenever I try, I get this message: "You can't load storage Pokemon into your Party"... I also get this message when I load the file on party edit. Loading the Pokemon in storage edit works but I'd rather receive the Pokemon via mystery gift (green guy in PokeMart) so it'll appear on my pokedex... -Thank you.

Hello. I've edited some pokemon in pokesav for Diamond and Pearl and saved them as .pkm files. When I try to load them in the storage of a .sav file in pokesav for Platinum it works fine. Then I use the backup loader to restore the save on my Platinum with the .sav file containing the pokemon, but they do not turn up in the storage boxes in-game, just empty space where they're supposed to be. What do I do? I do not have a pair of DS:es so I cannot just trade them over.

i started this thread in hopes of finding good save files for the three new mystery dungeon game adventure squad light stormy and blaze i have light on my nintenod wii. really want save files for blaze and stormy so i can get riolu and eevee in it also on the look out for passwords thats unlock pokemon for these new games I have searched google but nothing comes up. currently looking for a save file ]with the mew mission on it or the password for it also want save files for blaze and stormy to get more starters PASSWORD MISSIONS (wiiconnect 24 downloads) also it is now knowen that there are sertain pokemon that can only be found with the two items enigma part and secret slab such as (deoxys shaymin latias) those arent the only ones. as latias usely is with latios in these games I will post how to get these two items when i find them *it should be noted that arceus can only be encounter as fire type (blaze) water type (stormy) thunder type (light) *not sure if the arceus mission is a download as they say its a specal w ranked mission you can get after august 20th so most likely its a download (i hope not) i hope its like a timed in game event like the crystales in dimond and pearl at the town it snows at -
On both the Diamond & Pearl poke sav and the Platinum one it won't load my NDS file. I have tried to change the settings on my NO$gba so it saves .sav files, but this is not properly loaded by pokesav and cannot be loaded by No$gba. I was wondering whether there was a solution for this problem.
