  1. Hi, and welcome. I used to live in Saitama. I collected a lot of event pokemon while I lived in Japan. I visited Kyoto a couple of times but it was way too hot there. I really like the 6th generation games, so I think you should get a 3DS and give them a try.
  2. Yes, I've heard it's available through the Nintendo Zone at the locations that have it set up in the store (probably for in case the serial codes run out). I don't know about doing it at home, though...
  3. No, because I still don't see the purpose of having such a test, or why "expert genners" are needed. As we've said, it doesn't matter.
  4. From what I understand/recall: The Colosseum/XD PID stuff was a lot more complicated than the other games, and it took a lot of work to figure out. The people that DID figure it out incorporated it into various hack detecting programs, but never shared the information publicly. I don't know what site you are going to where people think they understand that (or why on earth there is a need for "expert genners" when as Kaphotics said, it's perfectly fine the way it is for non-despicable uses), but the way I remember it: the list people who DO understand it is very short.
  5. http://imgur.com/GODWoGl Got my ticket yesterday. Here are the rest of the details: http://projectpokemon.org/events/jp-VI.php#Movie2014Darkrai
  6. Was there ever any more information found out about this, regarding OT/ID and the other particulars? FYI, Gen VI games' distributions are actually restricted by the cartridge region, not the language chosen at the start of a new game. So far, all local wireless and IR distributions I've encountered have not been region restricted, but Serial Code and Internet distributions have. I believe it is possible for local distributions to be restricted, I just haven't seen it yet.
  7. I doubt that. Or, perhaps you are misunderstading the meaning of "legit."
  8. You can sectionalize things to keep things organized. Tabs just make it too much work to get a general view of the data. Especially when it's a Wonder Card and there isn't a lot of data anyway.
  9. Another serial code event will be happening with the April issue of Corocoro in Japan. http://i.imgur.com/Tia0nwZ.jpg It will be holding the Charizardite opposite of the game version it is used on, allowing players to obtain both in the same game. More details as they're confirmed.
  10. Nope. You'd have to load your save into a retail cartridge.
  11. I'd like to remind everyone that intentionally putting hacked Pokemon through Transporter is against the TOS of Pokemon Bank. It could get you banned from that service and discussion on how to circumvent it is not allowed here. I originally thought the purpose of this thread would be to report false positives getting blocked from being Transported, but it seems everyone is discussing why their hacked pkm were not able to get through. Any further discussion of that sort will result in this thread being shut down.
  12. Ahhhhh, that's too bad. The other interesting thing I noticed about this event is that while the gender is random, it seems to be determined when you download the wonder card, not when you pick up your pkm. Not sure if this is a new thing on how Gen VI WCs work, or if it's just how this event works.
  13. Wow. You went to the Tokyo one? We went pretty late, actually. I think we got there around 5:30 and left at 7, when it closed. I didn't know it was closing at 7 yesterday, otherwise we could have been there for another Scizor distribution and gotten more.
  14. In the Event Gallery, I have these both listed with set Natures and Scyther only having Technician as its ability. Please let me know if you see any reports showing otherwise.
  15. I went to this event yesterday, so.... here are the usual pics imgur gallery I've added all the details to the Gallery here: Pokémon Center Gengar Pokémon Center Scizor And added the distro and WC text to the post here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?33343-Gen-VI-Event-Contribution-Thread&p=175027&viewfull=1#post175027 As a bonus image.... http://imgur.com/hx9mUej It turns out the WC data wasn't restricted to a single download. We were able to download as many as we wanted. This seems to be an error with the WC data, as all of the promotional materials said the usual "one per game."
  16. Do you mean the text in this image? http://events.projectpokemon.org/images/053-shaymin-pc-jpn.png The only problem I can see is that it looks like the "1" is half-width and it was probably supposed to be full-width. This doesn't affect the pgf file, so I don't think I'll change the image just for this small thing. Yes, it is.
  17. Yeah, I don't even have full details on it yet, iirc. I haven't had time to work on anything recently, though, so that's why it's missing.
  18. According to messages coming in from places like the Daisuki Club newsletter and Holocaster, the event pokemon for advance ticket purchases will be determined by a poll. The polling runs until Feb 10 and the choices are Jirachi, Manaphy, Victini, or Darkrai. Players can vote online here http://www2.pokemon-movie.jp/tickets_pokemonVote/ Or at other events happening like World Hobby Fair, at Pokemon Centers, via a postcard contained in Corocoro.... etc etc etc.
  19. I'd be willing to put money on the fact that they are just taking them from Serebii. They avoided doing it right away to make it less obvious. Okay, well... they did it right away, then undid it after he called them out on it, now they're doing it again slowly. But yes, Serebii uses a capture card for his XY images. And those images were shared with permission with veekun.com, and I'm pretty sure that's it so far. You really shouldn't be using Bulbapedia.
  20. Not officially in association with the Event Gallery, no. You can find most on pokecheck, though.
