1. Just look at pokemon like Magneton and moves like Bite in regards to the compatibility between Gen I and Gen II.
2. No. We don't make Pokesav. It is made by a Japanese developer who works alone and is not affiliated with this site. He rarely updates, and never released a full version of the Platinum version, so don't expect any updates for the HGSS version. You can find other programs for editing various features of all Pokemon games (like pkm and Mystery Gifts) in this forum.
3.

Haven't done it yet, cause I don't have a Celebi yet.

4. Yes. It's not an indication as to whether or not it's perfectly legal, but it just means that the trash bytes don't make it not legal. I haven't looked at anything else on your pkm file.
5. You should both actually read what I wrote about the color of my Pokewalker. Incorrect. The Jirachi was never distributed to HGSS. It was distributed to DPP and you unlock the course by simply trading it to an HGSS game. You will be able to unlock the course by receiving the Jirachi in a trade.
6. I know no one has posted in here in a while, so I thought I'd update and see if I'm still putting everyone to shame. Steps: 1,004,500 Watts: 38,039 Days: 255 The non-Japanese versions have been out for a few months now, so I was wondering how everyone was doing. Also, I broke the one million steps mark today. But... still don't bother to bring the PW with me everyday...
7. I wouldn't be surprised to see a new Light type, and for the legendaries to just be Light and Dark.
8. No, no one has it yet.
9. As information slowly continues to be released, we can use this thread to discuss our own opinions and impressions on how the first set of games in Generation V is shaping out. However, please try to post something more detailed than a single-sentence post. Please keep the conversation civil. Let others state their opinions.
10. Your theories are way flawed, and we don't need to be theorizing about this now.
11. Uh, yes. If you're referring to Treecko, however, that was the one grass-type starter that WASN'T a reptile.
12. It did exist, and they do keep it when you pal park.
13. Interesting theory, but I don't think there's any connection with the names. Look at Hoenn, Johto and Sinnoh... nothing really to indicated their real-life counterparts.
14. So, Black and White versions will be taking place in the Isshu region. As we all know: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh are based on the real-world locations of Kanto, Kansai, Kyushu, and Hokkaido, respectively. Where in the real world do you think Isshu got its inspiration and/or basis? The only information we have on it so far are the few screenshots that have been released and the description that it is far away and separated from the previous regions. The city that has been showcased so far, Hiun City, has been shown and described as being technologically advanced, highly populated, is on an island, and has many skyscrapers. At first, I was thinking this might be based on Asian island countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Singapore... but after seeing the artwork in higher res, and the videos from Pokemon Sunday... I've started to think it might be based off of New York, or Manhattan more specifically. The screenshots that showed a main street with trees lining it really reminded me of New York City, as well as the suspension bridge that has been shown. Therefore, I'm thinking that the region as a whole could be based off of the USA or some part of the American continent(s), with the "big city" of Isshu being the "big apple." Thoughts? What do you think this region could be based off of?
15. The exact process is unknown. You are best off not hacking at all for any kind of tournaments, especially official ones. Using hacked Pokemon is pretty despicable, in any case.
16. Update All Trainer teams have been designed and completed. Special thanks to wraith89 and randomspot555 for their ideas and suggestions. And also, thanks to anyone on the IRC channel that entertained/assisted by occasional musings/random questions. First post has been updated, made more concise.
17. No, it doesn't. The group stays the same for the duration of the "stroll."
18. Uh..... so..... it does what he stated it does. Read stuff.
19. HG and SS trash bytes haven't been added to the LegailtyChecker yet.

21. Btw, you cannot make a legit pokemon.
22. It's a Japanese event, so no. Unless you go to Japan...
