I was messing around on a B2 file using HxD, specifically in the Hall of Fame data block (offset starts @ 74000). After changing some PIDs and species, I booted the file and the changes presented correctly. Then I decided to update the HoF backup data (offset 75800) with the same information, but when I booted the file I was given the "HoF data is corrupted" message. Anyone know why this is? Or why editing the backup specifically caused this to occur? Information on how exactly the save file backups work on DS games is useful/interesting to me. Also, I tried this same thing on a Pl

However I am now trying to do it on my Switch and Checkpoint will back up my save properly but when I plug in my SD card into my Computer and load the save into PKHeX the save that loads is a save that was saved shortly before I tried to hex where I went into pokemon home and transferred some mon over to Sword and released some from my sword bank. It has come to attention that the faithful Global Link will be shutting down soon. However, battle teams from QR code Pokemon will be lost with this. Other Pokemon somehow related to this feature may be lost as well. I hope these Pokemon may have a way to be extracted that we may attempt to save as many as we can of these. How can we embark on this undertaking across from not only the Global Link but QR code teams scattered everywhere? This is not my expertise, but I will endeavor to save these Pokemon however possible.

So someone asked me to edit some stuff in their game; Pokemon X to be precise. Now when I backup my Pokemon Y save file, their Pokemon X sav file keeps populating in PKHex. What gives? [using Ninjhax to access Homebrew Launcher, backing up save file through save manager; worked fine before I decided to be nice and help someone out  ]

Hello, so I have this small issue that is bugging me. I am currently trying to edit the EV's on my starter Pokemon to fit my desires a bit more on Pokemon Pearl. I can open up the Pearl.dst file, select that it is Pearl in English select my starter Pokemon, change the EV's, then when I go to file and save it, it will just crash. If I use "save as" and use the same name, click yes to replace, it crashed once more. If I do it and save as a different name, I get this error message. Please help. D:

So, my Acekard 2i came in the mail yesterday. I downloaded the drivers and got it working. I installed the NDS Backup tool from the link that was on the monroeworld tutorial. I changed all the info in the ini file and setup the FTP as it said to and I can't get the DS to recognize the server. I've tried using the IP of my router and my computer to get it to work but neither allow it to connect. Any suggestions on how to get this to work? My DSi has no issues connecting to my wifi with my retail cart installed. I turned off Windows Firewall while I was trying to connect. Do I need to open the
