Hey guys so i have been trying to transfer my save from a bootleg pokemon fire red to an authentic copy. now i was already told from someone really helpful told me i had to pull the saves and i did that but the restore save option is not working for the flashboy cyclone 3.2 software i found. anyone help?

I've been reading quite a few forums on what happens to the met dates of Pokémon but I need some concrete facts on how it works please as I'm a little confused now. When do met dates change (during poke transfer/Pokémon bank)? For example, this Blastoise, I made the date a random time after 'receiving it in Gen 4' (anytime after the release date of diamond/pearl). So hypothetically, this Pokémon should go to gen 5, does the met date change here? OR, when it is received into Pokémon bank/gen 6, does its met date change (again)? Even though met date isn't shown from generation 7+, I want the date to be as 'accurate' as it can be. So for reference, what year would this Blastoise be accurate?, or is this completely fine? Also, could I have the same info for what happens to the met level please? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone. I am trying to create a shiny Gardevoir with the "calmness" mark so it can have a special tagline when being called out into battle. (https://www.serebii.net/swordshield/marks.shtml) But when I check the legality, it gives me the "Invalid: Encounter Type PID mismatch" error. I've tried looking this error up, but all the information on it seems to be revolving around generations 4 and 5, and I'm working with generation 8. I can change the encounter to be an egg encounter and that makes it legal, but egg pokemon cannot have marks, which defeats the whole purpose. Through some thread delving I was led to a tool called "RNGReporter" (link below to thread) that seems to generate legal PID values for pokemon encounters? (I don't know, I don't really understand all this.) But then again, it seems to only be for the DS generation games. Does anyone know how to resolve this error for Pokemon Sword and Shield? Hi, first of all, sorry of I keep posting many things here but since I don't find anything on the web, the only thing I can do is ask my questions here, so sorry for that in advance. Anyway, now I just have a simple question (compared to the others I have asked) and this is... how can I edit 3D models (or BMD0 files) in HG/SS? I think many people have worked with BMD0 files already so, maybe, anyone who knows about this, your help would be appreciated P.S. : I'm working on the 3D models located at a/0/1/5, just if I had to be more specific -
Im currently shiny hunting in ultra sun, i encountered guzzlord, and because i havent captured it before, i have to go thru a 40 second cinematic, making the shiny hunting more tedious, i checked if i can check a flag so it counts as captured and didnt have to see the whole cinematic but theres no option that i see can anyone help me?

Hi! Newbie in the emulator scene here as I have been mostly playing via Switch. I am well versed with using PKHeX but I cannot seems to find a way to push the changes I did using the Main file in Citra back to the game. This is what my party looks like before I edit it in PKHeX: This is what it looks like up editing and saving via CItra's Save Data Location: However upon opening the game in Citra the part never changed even the box. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I've been working on a gym shuffler using dabomstew's randomizer as a base, and I started with Platinum. It shuffles the warps so that each city connects to a random gym. I've been using Spiky's DS Map Editor and its code as reference to implement everything so far, but I'm having trouble figuring out how gyms' trainers check for badges. Is there a way to change the badge-checking condition for gym trainers? After looking over some topics here, it seems like I need to edit "level scripts" to change what I want to change. If I'm on the right track with level scripts, is there a (open-source) tool I can use to edit them? If there's not any, where in the ROM structure are level scripts, and is there any documentation on how they work? -
So theres a Trainer appearance editor in the PKHEX app that allows you to change your characters clothing. So changing the hair shirt pants etc. all works fine. but why is there various options to change makeup? when i change these settings in any way my character just defaults to her beginning get up?. even though she had a blue shirt shorts and the like before hand. theres a freckles option that can be changed*? and it doesn't screw with my characters look, (does the default female character have freckles?) however her face icon on the save file looks a bit screwy. But any other options mascara, lipstick etc. all reverts my character to her default clothing. am i missing something here? is there certain numbers that correspond with particular lipstick colors? like 2 4 6, instead of 1 2 3 er whatever?. theres no dropdown list of options its just an editable number. not sure how that works exactly can anyone fill me in on this?

Hi, I am new to project Pokémon and a little disappointed I hadn't stumbled upon this site prior as I have been a fan since the beginning. Well long story short I lost my save after beating the story mode on Pokémon shield. without any back ups I am forced to start a new game. I would like to not worry about getting banned so if this is a possibility with a VERY Vanilla Switch please tell me now. Otherwise, I would love to be able to start my new journey with all 3 of the starter Pokémon.

I've been playing "perfect" legal games starting with a few aids like trades and "broken" punches, but they get back to normal. I recently finished Pokémon White and I dedicated myself to completing the pokedex, having all the legendary events, through the change of DNS and also by pkhex. The icing on the cake has always been that I left the tariner card at its highest level and here I wanted to do it. I completed the pokedex legally, took all 100 battles between the subway super battle levels, I admit I used cheats for musical props and a little help with the tree nexus. however my card is still gold when it should be white in this version case. The truth is that I would appreciate help and I promise to do the DSV. publishes. PS: sorry for my English, I don't speak this language. Pokémon - Edicion Blanca (E) .dsv

ultramoon Pokemon UltraMoon ROM won't open in Pk3DS

I've been want to make a Ultra Moon ROM hack where all battles are changed to double battles, but after extracting the files in packenglish and when I try to open it in Pk3DS nothing happens. I've used pK3DS with Pokemon X before and it worked just fine. When comparing my Ultra Moon files with my Pokemon X files and the UltraMoon files in a tutorial I noticed that the usual ExtractedBanner, ExtractedExeFS and ExtractedRomFS instead where called ExtractedManual, ExtractedN3DSUpdate and ExtractedO3DSUpdate. The contents of the files where also different. I don't think I did anything different and I'm pretty sure it's just a normal Ultra Moon ROM, so does anybody have any clue what might have happened and how this could be resolved? -
So i want to use PkHex for mobile to avoid having to switch back to PC to edit my save. With this in mind, i stumbled upon this github file to have the said app on mobile. In order to do that, i need to use Xamarin Forms 4.0. But i have absolutely no Idea on how to use this software and how to build PkHex with it. This is why i'm asking for help. If someone knows how to use Xamarin in order to have PkHex mobile properly installed on my Android Device, i'd greatly acept their help.

Hello everyone! last night i was able to open pkhx with no issues but today it wont open at all. I restarted my pc and it opened but it crashed right after. at some point after trying over and over it gave me the following message Exception Details: System.InvalidOperationException: Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created. at System.Windows.Forms.Control.MarshaledInvoke(Control caller, Delegate method, Object[] args, Boolean synchronous) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.Invoke(Delegate method, Object[] args) at PKHeX.WinForms.Main..ctor() at PKHeX.WinForms.Program.Main() I'm not quite sure what this means so if anyone can give me some advice i would greatly appreciate it. thank you!

Cutting right to the chase, it seems whenever you enable regular (non important) trainers to do a Double Battle, one of the following 2 things will occur; A: If you talk to the trainer and start the battle, they will have no text and there will be a blank textbox, but apart from that it's fine. B: If they engage the encounter, the game freeze's in place, which is a softlock. I've heard multiple reasons why this occurs, but I want to know exactly what causes this so I can figure out a way to fix it. Also I'm assuming actually fixing this issue will most likely require a hex editing tool or something else complicated, so any tool recommendations? I'm absolute trubbish at hex code but I'll try my best (and also apologies if this topic is formatted incorrectly, this is the first time I've made one for this site). I don't think it matters, but the Emulator that I'm using for my Rom Hack is DeSmuME. Latest Version. And to clarify, the Rom is a USA Pokemon Black rom. -

So i went out and bought a 3ds, omega ruby, ultra moon and ultra sun, thinking i could get some of the pokemon i wanted. But then i find put alot of them where limited time event pokemon giveaways. I was going to do the CFW and try to get the mons i want that way, but i only have 1 3ds so i wpuldnt be able to trade them over. I was hoping someone would eother help me out and give me any dupicate mons you have, or cpuld make me some legal mons, or help me with the whole process of cfw, pkhex and how to give to myself. Hello, first time here on the forums and I'm looking to see if anyone can help me see if a Shiny Celebi I got traded is even legit, or at least legal. not nicknamed Level 30 Virtual Console mark Moves (w/ proper PP) - Heal Bell, Safeguard, Ancient Power & Future Sight 5IV (only Decent attack) no EVs OT: Velma (31121) Obtained through VC Coin Case glitch What bothers me is that I know that the ID is from a Japanese Celebi event. So if anyone can explain why this is the case, and if Shiny Celebi is legit/legal or not, I would much appreciate it!

Hi, so, I was stuck in the Elite Four after loading my save because I backed up my save in the wrong place so I edited my coordinates so I'd end up in Rustboro (image attatched). When I went to play, though, all I was met with was a black screen, or a "hang". I also stupidly did not have another backup for this save file, so I'm scared my save's been pretty much bricked. Any advice, or even someone fixing the attached file would be extremely appreciated, I've had this file for around four years and I wouldn't know what to do with myself if my mistake ruined it. main
