I'm trying to edit a Pokémon Blue ROM to make it look like an US Pokémon Green version. Right now, someone hacked a rom for me, so it would display "Green version" on the title screen. I then hacked it so it would display a Bulbasaur. I want to edit two particular blocks of text in the game. The poster in Celadon Dept. Store that says "Red and Blue, both are Pokémon!" to make it "Red and Green, both are Pokémon!", wich I've done alerady. I'm also trying to edit the block of text that contains the default names list, so I can edit it to have "Green" instead of "Blue" in the list. I'm using Pokétext, for the matter. I also want to edit the version exclusives to be the Japanese Blue's. Now, I have some problems. First off, I can't find the block of text containing the default names list. Secondly, Pokémap doesn't have Wild Pokémon data for every places. There are some routes and caves containing Pokémon I want to edit wich I cannot access with Pokémap. Well, if someone could find me a tool that would allow me to fully edit the Wild Pokémon data, that would be nice.

Hello there ! I've check few shiny pokemon with Legal.exe and... some of them appear Hacked. But what i don't understand is "why?" because in the log, everything appear Valid... Could somebody explain me please? (i've put the .pkm files in attachment ) Ah. A friend gave me a Celebi to check. Legal.exe says that everything's valid but it's an Unknown Type. Moreover, the Trash Bytes appear valid but i checked it with Pokesav & an Hex Editor and... as it's a Pal-Parked Pokemon, it should have more bytes after the terminators. So... i conclude that it's an hack. Am I right ? ( I've put the Celebi in attachment too ) rozbouton.pkm griknot.pkm baudrive.pkm celebi.pkm

Hello everybody, today I will be showing you how to determine your Secret ID in Pokemon Heart Gold or Soul Silver. You can also hack your game using this method, but I won't go into detail about that. 1. Go to your NO$GBA BATTERY folder and copy your save file elsewhere in order to back it up in case you make a mistake. 2. Open NO$GBA.ini in Notepad, and scroll down to the line: SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed ...change this to: SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed ...and save the file. 3. Open No$GBA (make sure your save type in NO$GBA is FLASH 512 kbytes) and continue your game. Save the game, and quit NO$GBA. Check the size of your save file in the BATTERY folder. It should be over 500KB (mine was 512KB). 4. Download the following program. You will use it to convert your save file: No$GBA --> VBA Battery Converter To use it, click the "Configure" button and follow the instructions by clicking on the buttons in order. In the text box named "New .SAV File" enter a name for the new file you will make. Now select your Pokemon save file and press convert file. It will create a new save file with the name you typed in. 5. Now open up your Pokesav program for Pokemon HGSS. Click the button that says "open", and select your new converted save file (the one you made in step 4). Your ID and SID should appear in the text boxes corresponding to each. That's all folks! Okay I'm trying to add a pal parked Pokemon, but I forgot what poke ball they need to be in. do they just get automated into a normal pokebal after you pal park one?

Pokesav.org redirects to projectpokemon.org nowadays. The .pkm files which were the core of the website after the actual Pokesav download are no longer found on the homepage, but are hidden under the bottom Editing link panel, which for some interesting reason is in smaller text than the repetitive links above it. You click on Pokesav, and search to pick out the PKM Files link hastily stuffed into the list on the right. This takes you to another page in which you must search for the actual real link to the .pkm file database from text discretely molded into the paragraph. Finally this opens up a new tab to the .pkm file database. The Event Pokemon downloads page is still missing for parts undisclosed, though it did at some point exist. Here is what else has been said on the subject: The first point doesn't actually reference anything that was said in the thread, but the second point references a "Pokesav Requests" location which does not exist on the webpage. Perhaps it references some poorly devised extemporaneous forum section, which neglects the irrevocable benefits of content-based webpages, which is what ProjectPokemon.org conveniently provides. The section of the ProjectPokemon.org forum under Site Discussion is the best place to discuss discussion on the ProjectPokemon.org. Unless of course people flaunt around admin commands on a whim to close threads, thereby censoring any further discussion a la the Chinese Google search engine. Not all the PKM files are legit, and those PKM file sections have been up since Pokesav.org's time, diminishing the "matter of time" argument. So, basically, as the discussion stands now, the Event PKM file page on ProjectPokemon.org formerly Pokesav.org is either unavailable or very covertly hidden, even better than the regular PKM file page is. Where is it?

Hi everyone, I am currently playing Platinum in NO$GBA, after following the walkthrough I came to know that I can actually trade a wild caught Machop level 7 in Route 207 to a Abra level 7 nick Kazza from a little girl by the name Hilary in a house next to the PokeMart in OREBURGH CITY. After doing so, i tried to extract the Abra's data using Pokesav & checking the legality These are the information shown Checksum: 0xBDAB - Valid Pokemon ID: 142 - Quiet, Male, Ability 1, Not Shiny IVs: 15,15,15,20,25,25 Trainer ID: 25643 Secret ID: 0 Trainer Gender: Female Hidden Power: Ice - 34 Fateful Encounter: No Gender Check: Valid Effort Values: Valid Nicknamed: Yes Home Town: Sinnoh [Platinum] Country Originated: UK/US/AU Type: Hacked Pokemon May I know why is the legal.exe showing that this Abra is a Hacked Pokemon? This does not make sense since it was trade from the system itself and Machop used was not generated from NO$GBA? Wasn't sure whether to put this question in the R/S/E section or Fr/Lg, since I'm asking about both sets of Gen III games. I was hoping someone could tell me at what point in the game the stats of the roaming Pokemon are set... for Latios and Latias in R/S/E, and the Legendary Beasts in Fr/Lg. Is it after you first beat the elite 4... or upon your first encounter with them... does it vary betweeen the games? I'm asking because I'd like to know at what point I should avoid saving if I want to soft reset for different specimens of the roamers.

I want to try to edit sav of the new game. I want to know if I can use progress made for older games, after I check that they work also in this version. I hope I'm not going to do it without other's help (especially by evandixon that has worked to PMD 2).

Well, i have a little problem with the online mode of Pokemon battle revolution, because it says more or less: alert. some of your pokemon can't fight. you can think that it's a legality problem, but the legality checker sais my pokemon are "wild NDS or GBA" or "normal NDS or GBA" and i can transfer it normally. can somebody tell me what's the problem of the pokemon? i think maybe it happens because all are legendary pokemon. i upload it so maybe you can realise whats the problem: Thank you for your answer 1.pkm 2.pkm 3.pkm 4.pkm 5.pkm 6.pkm -

What is the data from a Pokemon caught in the PokeWalker? For example, I have a PKM of a Viridian Forest Pikachu, and I want to make it look like a legal Flying Pikachu from the PokeWalker. After making one of its moves into Fly, what else do I need to edit? (Like location data, level met, PID-IV relationship, trash bytes, etc.)

I'm not sure if this is the place to post, so sorry if this thread is misplaced. I want to try the RNG trick, but I need my Secret ID, and I heard that if I trade a pokemon caught in my game to someone who has AR, then they could find my SID for me. Can anyone help me out?
