  1. While that is an excellent picture of Lugia, it would be stealing for me to make a sig out of it. I'll leave that to someone else. Not that I would make it anyway. One sig per day I think.
  2. Added one (request for wraith).
  3. Umm... I'm disgusted. Backing up violence by saying someone is an abomination in God's eyes? How can you people think yourselves better the muslim extremists? If there was an all gay community, I'm positive someone would bomb it. Secondly. I'm actually offended by you saying gay couples "convert" their adopted child. First of all, about 75% of gay couples adopt GIRLS, so I don't exactly see how they could convert them away from being straight. And I actually know several men who were adopted by a gay couple, and all of them are straight. Also, quite honestly, most of them are more polite, more friendly, more generous, and more understanding and friendly towards other beliefs then most "pureborn" christians. In any case, this discussion has gone on long enough. Its turned into a flame war. Randomspot, please lock it. Edit: After quickly reviewing a few posts, there are a few misconceptions that I want to attempt (and fail) to clear up. Firstly, atheists (such as myself) are not works of the devil, we don't want the downfall of society as we know it, and we aren't completely retarded. Secondly, people who don't agree with Catholicism or Christianity aren't violent freaks who want to cause mass destruction. And finally, most importantly, MARRIAGE is not something that was created by God. The sacrament of Matrimony was. You know how many faithful Christians don't go through the sacrament of Matrimony and get married at a small party, in their home, or somewhere else? The number is astounding. This discussion is not about matrimony, its about marriage. Quite honestly, I don't think gay people give a shit whether or not they go through matrimony, especially since any priest has the right to refuse any couple, straight or otherwise. This discussion was about the rights granted to people who are married under the law (which I did state) that are unavailable to homosexual couples.
  4. My new smudge sig style isn't multiple render friendly. Also, quite honestly I don't have the time to render things either. For something that specific, you'll have to wait for Narwhal to do it; hes expert at handling that kind of thing. (Atleast he looks like one )
  5. Sorry, nope. I use photoshop.
  6. While that tier list is impressive and comprehensive, we have had this discussion before. In my opinion, theres no point creating our own tier list if the Smogon one works. If someone disagrees about a pokemon, they could bring it up separately, people could test it over our Shoddy server (or others by all means) or Wifi and post their results here. If a decent pokemon is found to be in the wrong position (nothing useless like NU -> UU or UU -> NU), then they can be changed and posted on our own tier listing with specific changes listed from the Smogon standard. IMO, suspecting every pokemon is far too large a job for us.
  7. Also (its been said) I think OP for the avatar request thread needs a facelift. A few suggestions have been given somewhere in this thread by various people.
  8. Pokesav both perfected and ruined DPP. At first, it waas much better; so little people had access to it, but it turned into a giant empire the moment pokesav.org was opened, and now that all the legalization techniques have been perfected and released, its so easy simply to create a pokemon. And in truth, if you want to win, theres no other way to do it. Gone are the days where winning required hard work and massive amounts of time. On the upside, that means theres much more skill involved.
  9. I entirely agree. Loading up a file folder from your PC with all the pokemon files would be quite "sextastic." Does this thing have editing capabilities yet?
  10. No, there isn't; the only USB key that would allow you to play pokemon online doesnt work with Vista or any type of mac. Sorry about that.
  11. (I can't believe I'm saying this) Well, Darwinism (which, btw, shouldn't be a "religion") has about as many holes as the bible does, so either way is entirely plausible. Not that it isn't accepted by the worldwide scientific community and backed up by hundreds of fossils; there are other explanations that are quite possible, and we can't prove it either way with our limited fossil record and the amount of changes likely to incur from either way.
  12. 252/252 is an interesting idea, but the 252 SpA / 220 Spe / 36 Atk is hard to resist, since you can outspeed many more threats with it (Naive, outspeeds Latias, Salamence, and timid gengar) Still though, Jirachi served me better then Azelf did... to the testing room. P.S. I really don't like rest-talk sets.
  13. The Church is separate from legal rights. As it should be. Unfortunately, because its so rich and has so many followers who seem to blindly and hypocritically take some parts of the bible and look at them literally to suit their beliefs, then call other parts of the bible as "too strong" and take them as a vague guide. Honestly, it seems that you're taking the bible for its exact word just because you think its disgusting. Well, its not for YOU to decide, and calling them sinners is going to make people hate religion even more because it has no understanding, tolerance, and interpretation of the belief of others. And moreso, if sexuality is a genetic thing, is it MY fault that I was born with brown hair? Yet thats a genetic thing. So if indeed its a genetic thing, is it THEIR fault? If its NOT A CHOICE, how can it be a sin? Lets quickly define sin. Sin: an act that is regarded by theologians as a transgression of God's will An act. A sin is something you choose to do that is estrangement from god. And yet you stated yourself: You said yourself, they don't have a choice. A sin is a CHOICE. And you said yourself: Oh, so its not their fault that they feel this way, and yet they're sinners? Theres so much disagreeing information. Anyway, I think this discussion has gotten out of hand. People have stated their beliefs, they aren't changing regardless how much proof is given because when it comes down to it, its not a choice, and its not a "sexuality gene". Also, this discussion is not about religion. Its about lawful marriage. And in response to your question, Floot, about the rights of lawful matrimony, I shall list them: "A marriage, by definition, bestows rights and obligations on the married parties, and sometimes on relatives as well, being the sole mechanism for the creation of affinal ties (in-laws). These may include: Giving a husband/wife or his/her family control over a spouse’s sexual services, labor, and property. Giving a husband/wife responsibility for a spouse’s debts. Giving a husband/wife visitation rights when his/her spouse is incarcerated or hospitalized. Giving a husband/wife control over his/her spouse’s affairs when the spouse is incapacitated. Establishing the second legal guardian of a parent’s child. Establishing a joint fund of property for the benefit of children. Establishing a relationship between the families of the spouses." (Wikipedia) And quite honestly, if the church is so against their beloved matrimony, then just let them enter in a Civil Union... give them proper rights.
  14. Giant merge much. Just caught a few shiny Ralts. I haven't been chaining in a while, so I broke it three times.
  15. It is actually quite hard to imagine what its like once you've actually trained a pokemon/team to level 100, the legitimate way; you've bred them, EV trained them, taught them the moves, etc. etc. and if you use Pokesav, it gives them a mechanical, disposable feel. If you actually do it yourself, it means something. It means some sort of effort. Of course, thats nearly impossible to imagine for most people.
  16. I really like all the mechanical brushes that you put into the sigs. It gives them a more interesting look that helps them a lot. Also, nice work on the Entei sig
  17. Thank you =) I agree, it still works well. Hint: Use a color balance effect. It works surprising wonders at the end for sigs that are too grayscale. I added lots of red and magenta to that one in the midtones and shadows, with some blue in the highlights. But not too much =)
  18. Thank you! Well, a soft brush is a brush with the hardness set to 0%. Also, you can look in the Basic Brushes pallet and find quite a soft brush sizes. Its great to use for erasing things, but also super handy for creating light sources.
  19. Well, replacing Latias is a very difficult choice to make. Latias is my early game sweeper. Salamence isn't, hes lategame cleanup; Suicune is a special wall that doubles as a sweeper thanks to Calm Mind. As such, I don't think replacing Latias is a good idea. In the interest of testing, I did replace him for a bit on Smogon shoddy. My results for a few different pokemon were interesting. For Jirachi: Excellent results here. I used a physical mix set, and it almost always scores a KO and usually more then one; its suprisingly faster then most pokemon that switch on it, and I've outpredicted almost every opponent. For Empoleon: Bad results. KOed quickly every time and served a purpose too similar to Suicune. For Tyranitar: I brought him out early, and it ended up spelling premature death to both Salamence and Rotom; I can't see putting in Ttar at all without causing big changes to this teams strategy, changes I don't particularly want to make. For Gengar: Dies to quickly. For Alakazam: OHKOed by Scizor's CB BP For Azelf: Worked surprisingly well actually, and I managed to get him to KO atleast one pokemon every time; also lasts longer then I expected. And since its quite zippy, its a great option for replacing Latias that I might actually use. (still, Jirachi was also very useful) Anyway, thats just my thoughts. I don't think putting Ttar in there is going to be an easy option.
  20. I use a soft brush and a nice smudge brush with scattering. I used to use a ton of different brushes, but when I started losing them, I taught myself to work with way less. Use more filters then brushes and lots of blending effects. P.S. 222 post
  21. Ty ty, my first try at working with a smudge avatar. I have a few more ideas for next time, I'm still learning.
  22. Thanks Floot. Okay, so I added another sig. Its a request for Gallade, but soon I'll be doing another sig for myself. Its not as good as the first one (how can it be, its not in 3d), but I'm pleasantly suprised at how good the sugimori render ended up looking, so I'll be experimenting more with them. Thanks everyone!
