  1. Here you go. Edit: Lmao, you can use Loading's or mine. Either way is fine, I'm just practicing =)
  2. Sorry, I sleep for eons. If you don't like it, thats fine. Its a little more refined.
  3. Here's mine. Fairly simple. The start menu is hidden on the right.
  4. =D Thank you!!! Cheers! :grog: P.S. Can I apply for work here? I'll do a test avatar if you give me a request.
  5. Thanks =) Thank you! =) Thanks a lot, but compared to many others, its not all that great...
  6. There is no homosexuality "gene". Thats a myth invented by people to try to combat religion, which, in my humble opinion, is a lost cause. However, you can explain ex-homosexuality. Firstly, I think many homosexuals live in denial for much of their teenage years. Homosexuality is so frowned upon that I don't see why it would be a choice, and if it is, why anyone would choose it. Then again, that still doesnt explain ex-homosexuality, and thats one of the most used arguments. So, knowing that: A. Homosexuality is not a choice. B. There is no "gay gene". There must be something during the person's life that makes them homosexual. Now, I think there are a few things that might qualify for that: A. If a person develops an abnormal dislike of their father. B. If a person never goes to sex ed or never has a sex talk with their parents, so they learn from their friends C. If a person's mother dies, so a person loves their father as their mother Of course, thats just speculation, but lets continue with it. So assuming at least one of those things are true, something must change within the process that makes people form sexual desires towards someone: puberty. Something must be different about the thought processes that homosexuals receive during puberty. That would explain quite a few things: Firstly, it would explain why its not a choice. Heterosexuals do not see loving women as a choice. Is it a choice? If you truly wanted to, could you somehow force yourself to love men? I highly doubt that. Secondly, it would explain the reasons during a person's childhood affecting sexuality. If someone has one of the reasons detailed above during their childhood, if those thoughts remain during puberty, it might affect sexuality based on what the person grew up knowing and being used to. However, it doesnt explain ex-homosexuality. I personally believe that if someone is in total denial and hates themselves above all, and someone comes to them and gives them love, they will love them back. So if a homosexual person hates themselves, and a woman comes to them and shows them kindness and the love of a partner, they can love that woman back. However, I don't think the homosexuality caused during puberty can ever be reversed; it can only be ignored as much as possible, and love can allow someone to ignore homosexual impulses. Just my two cents. And by the way, to the first responder of this thread, I didn't create this thread to split members; I think the point of the debate is so you can truly see how intelligent, empathetic, and sympathetic someone is, along with understanding and acceptance of someone's belief and kindness towards others. I think people who are truly homophobic are very shortsighted. Oh, and Floot, if homosexuality is indeed Satan's work, then why aren't you sympathetic? Towards someone, just like you, who was attacked by Satan? That in itself seems to be a crime, not to be able to understand and sympathize towards someone. And furthermore, why doesnt the 'all powerful' God do something about it?
  7. That makes me wonder why they don't just use either level 100 pokemon or PBR... I hope HGSS will have an auto level-down system.
  8. Quick question. Why are Dragonite and Tyranitar banned? The only reason Ttar was banned from the VGC touranament was because... well, I don't actually know. Better to ban Garchomp, who is much more powerful and is considered illegal in standard battles. (online) As for Dragonite, hes not all that powerful either. So... And sorry, I can't battle you. I don't have any doubles experience at all.
  9. Sadly, there aren't. I got it at Planetrenders. =| I don't know how it was made, but I really hope I can find more like it. click me Also, I'll only be making smudge sigs out of 3d images because with 2d it doesn't look as good. Try to find them at http://planetrenders.net/
  10. Thank you GGfan and randomspot (again); I'll try to respond to everything. I have noticed that my team can't really respond to stall. Suicune isn't intended to beat bliss; if hes my last pokemon, I'm done for and thats the end of the story. My Suicune can't beat Celebi at all; his Ice Beam might 4HKO at best. However, with 1 calm mind, its a guaranteed 2HKO factoring in stealth rock. Thats not such a bad counter, and at worst, I'll do a lot of damage. Machamp is completely checked by Rotom-h, and at worst, Salamence / Latias can destroy him. Mence will be phased, I agree, but everything I use can and will be phased. The problem with phazing is the amount of damage the stalling pokemon can rack up. Scizor will always be walled by hippo and rotom. Infact, he'll be walled by more then that. But hippo is throughly countered by both Latias and Suicune, and whilst Rotom can cause problems, I can deal with him. (kinda) Alright, mixmence sounds interesting, but for a mixmence, I am against putting Brick Break on him; I feel its a waste of power. Crunch would be a much better choice IMO to combat ghosts that wall me throughly, and I think I'd want a powerful physical option in there such as Outrage. And I know that Brick Break can help break stall, but I can put him back on Scizor without a problem. Ttar is out of the question. Sandstorms will cause more problems for this team then they'll solve, hurting all of my main attackers, all of which often get statused and rely heavily on LO damage. Although your strategy for defeating blissey is extremely appealing, along with the fact that ttar can massacre Rotom, Dusknoir, Cresselia, Latias, and can break stall into floating little pieces, it actually might be worth seriously considering. However, in my recent battles, Suicune has been extremely effective against balanced and offensive teams and has almost always played an important part in my battles. As such, switching him out is out of the question. And furthermore, I'm not going to keep Suicune on Blissey. Regardless whether I use the roost mence, which is unlikely since Mence generally is to frail to properly make use of Roost and goes down so quickly with two thunderbolts (I have the worst parahax ever) or a single ice beam/shard, Ttar will simply serve to wear down half my pokemon and not particularly be helpful for the rest. And please be polite (ggfan) in my rmt. Thanks. Lets all be peaceful. Anyway, so, changes to be made and thought about: Tyranitar needs to be seriously considered, although who to switch him in for is difficult, and changes to many of my pokemon would have to be made to accommodate him. Scizor has been switched to X-Scissor over U-turn and Brick Break over Superpower. Salamence has been given Outrage. --- Also, I feel that Salamence hasn't been able to do enough damage as of late. Its simply failing in comparison to Latias and even Suicune. I need to make changes to him. Also, Randomspot, I generally explode Metagross asap unless I'm against an Infernape or an Azelf lead, with which I generally get flamethrowered.
  11. Okay, attempt. Just one. For now. Anyway, I'll be trying to make all my sigs in a style similar to this, but it takes forever and a half, and since I'm super slow, it eats away my time. Not that I'm short on time. Its summer for god's sake! =D Yay! Anyway, here it is: What do you think? When I make more (for people or for me) I'll add them here. Okay, I added another one. =) What do you think? Edit2: New one, sig for Wraith. Edit3: Two new ones, but not sigs. (6/22/09)
  12. Yay my first smudge sig! =D It took me two hours to make, so I'm really slow. Lol. Still though, I'm very proud of it. Its not all that great actually, but for my first smudge sig, I like it.
  13. Good bye, Satoshi. You were a good staff member, a helpful person, a friendly person, and in general a good person. Regardless, college is new and good, and I hope you enjoy yourself there. Meet new people, learn more, and enjoy yourself. Live long and prosper.
  14. My first level 100 ever was a Blaziken. I went through all of Ruby with it alone, and had an incredibly difficult time beating the E4, so I trained and trained, and got it to 81 before I could beat the E4 with Blaziken alone. With a few ethers. And potions. My first level 100 on Lg was a Rayquaza that I sent over to train, and as for native pokemon, it was a Moltres. For Emerald, it was a Ninetales. For Pearl, Palkia. For Diamond, Giratina. And finally, most importantly, for Platinum: Heatran.
  15. I did some playing around with Wobbuffet today. Interestingly enough, I won every match. How... unsuprising. Oh, and my Mind Reader Articuno had a field day alongside the Wob monster. Really, these matches are just so easy.
  16. Yes, this is one of those debates that generally ends up in religion vs other. Anyway this is the debate: Same sex couples should be allowed to go through the legal process of marriage and receive the full legal rights of matrimony. -vs- Same sex couples should not be allowed to go through the legal process of marriage, and should not have access to the legal rights of matrimony. Anyway, here's my stance. Rather violent actually, so be ready. --- What I really hate about this debate is when people bring up AIDS. That disease alone is probably the absolute largest gay stereotype there is. Firstly, straight 'normal' sex can bring about AIDS. Unsafe sex, no matter which kind, remains unsafe, whether or not its two men or a man and a woman. Okay, onto my 'belief'. Personally, I think gay marriage should be allowed. I live in a part of the country where I basically never see a gay couple anywhere. Actually, I've only seen a few around here in my entire life. I live in Seattle, where its so totally frowned upon that theres actually sections of west Seattle where people avoid it purposely and where real estate sells for rock bottom prices. I know I shouldn't make an opinion because I barely ever see gay couples, but I don't think its disgusting. Think about what you feel like when you pass a sexy woman. No really, think about that. Sometimes you wont feel anything, because your distracted for some other reason, but you know what I mean. And especially realize that you notice that that woman is attractive. Now think for a minute. What would it be like if every time you saw an attractive male, you felt and thought the exact same thing. Wouldn't it be weird? I bet most of you can't actually imagine what that would be like. And many don't want to. But how unfair would it be if you were forced to? If you didn't have a choice, even when you, above all, didn't want to. You think gay people choose to be gay? Why. Please, tell me what reasoning you have for someone choosing to be gay. You can probably come up with some kind of an argument related to being good friends with girls, or something related to that, but really, there ARE no perks. For your entire life, as soon as someone finds out your gay, you'll be avoided. Put down. Ignored. Why would you choose that life? So, assuming its not a choice, where does your beloved Christianity come in? If everything has a reason, then there must be some reason as to why gay people exist. If they are born that way, then isn't it the fault of their creator? I understand that sometimes gay people grow up to be gay because they didn't play sports, so they didn't mingle as much with guys and spent more time with girls (which, ironically, can be a cause of people being gay once through puberty). Is that the fault of the kid? No, its not, because 6 year olds are often stubborn and refuse to play sports for no reason at all. Also. For those of you who are married. Imagine what it would be like if you couldn't have joint assets with your wife, couldn't share any of the legal privileges of being married, couldn't adopt, didn't have visitation rights, or anything really. Is that how gay couples feel? Is that right? Politically correct is bullshit, I don't care about that. It comes down to morals. The US was built on the ideal that all men are created equal. The right to life, liberty, and property. Are gay people 'people'? Do they have those rights? No. Is that right? Is that moral? Honestly, I can't understand people who are homophobic. It just seems ignorant. I totally understand if you find gay couples kissing in the street disgusting, but should you really take away their rights because of it? How can you use Christianity as an excuse for it when it calls for treating all people of all races equally? The church is as corrupt as the government is, bleeding with money. And what about gay people who commit suicide because of all the social hate? How can you LIVE with yourself if you know that you contributed to the reason they died? --- Discuss, and don't mind my violence against religion, I posted this first on another forum and I was slightly irritated with the previous poster's incomprehensible point of view.
  17. That settles that, I'll go with suicune. Editing in a sec.
  18. I guess you're right, for suicune, roar is the best bet for the fourth slot. Still, what about Empoleon? Is there any particular reason Suicune is better then the standard Agility + 3 attacks set?
  19. Okay, based on randomspot's comments (and Enkidu's comments on my old thread), I'm going to swap Superpower for Brick Break and U-Turn for X-Scissor. Salamence is getting Outrage. I'm tired of Dragon Claw not doing enough. Alright as far as replacing Celebi, its down to between Empoleon and Suicune. I absolutely love the idea of an Agility Empoleon, but based on what randomspot said, Suicune looks like a better choice. Which is saddenning to me. As far as a fourth attack, HP Ghost might be a good idea as my only reliable counter to Dusknoir or possibly Rotom (although dangerous), both of which I've had extreme trouble with. And I would go with Calm on Suicune. I've never liked or used a Resttalk set, and I don't intend to.
  20. The part about missing items was in reply to Varna, just fyi. Anyway, the pokemon under Suspect testing are only usable on the Suspect ladder; the Standard metagame still uses the published OU list until a Suspect vote is finished. Also, quite honestly (I shouldn't be saying this), I think a great amount of the argument against Smogon's tiers are based directly towards specific pokemon. I have seen a ridiculous amount of Scizor hate, and people complaining that hes way too overused and hes broken, but hes not broken and the point of Standard is to be overused. Hence OU. And thats just one example. If we do indeed try to make our own tiers, I can't think of anything that we'd change! Maybe we would find some NU pokemon that deserve to be UU. Or maybe we would scrap Smogon's new useless Limbo ladder. But either way, I don't think we'd do anything particularly influential to the Standard metagame.
  21. Froslass is an interesting idea, although I think Rotom-S is a better choice. In retrospect, Rotom-h would also give you access to a fire move which you desperately need to take out Scizor, Skarmory, and Bronzong, so that might be the best choice. As far as most fighting types, you should be able to take them out with some sort of a powerful attack; still though, Machamp can cause problems. With a ghost though thats all gone. Froslass probably isn't worthwhile; using Psychic on her is a waste and a Trick Specs set is most likely the only usable set she has for the role you want her to play.
  22. Hello Randomdog; At a glance, your team seems fine and balanced. I don't see any immediate synergy, but I hope there will be some in depth. Bronzong: I love the strategy of abusing your opponent's expentancies (Heatproof > Levitate). Be mindful though that the most commonly used move against Bronzong is Fire Blast, and as soon as the Heatproof kicks in, people will start using EQ. If against Salamence, you do have some good switch-ins for the expected Earthquake. However, unlike what you seem to think, in OU Trick Room has little realistic use and Bronzong using Stealth Rock is completely expected. Although as a lead, it is an odd choice, since most everything can set up on it with impunity (DDmence and gyarados most notably), but its fairly easy to predict what it'l do. Make sure it has 0 speed IVs to maximize Gyro Ball's power. Latias, Hippowdon: Standard Lucario: Very interesting set. The strategy is fine, as is the EV spread and moveset, but the one thing I'd reccomend is not using a Hasty nature. A +Spd nature is just fine, but you should consider using Naive (+Spd, -SpD) instead. Many of Lucario's counters choose to attack on the physical side of the spectrum, which can cause problems if you have a -Def nature; still though, with the advent of Rotom-h, you'll probably be seeing quite a few Overheating ghosts to come in on Lucario. Just be mindful of that. Brelooom: Change the order of that strategy to Spore > Sub > Seeds. Simply because the main way to counter Breloom is to send someone to eat Sleep, then switch in a fire attacker. If you don't have a sub up when the fire guy comes in, you aren't fast enough to survive. Anyway, otherwise its the standard poison heal spore-seed. Starmie: Personally, I think Specs would be better for Starmie, as she's already fast enough to outspeed almost everything thats in her way. And if you opt to keep Scarf, go for Modest instead of Timid as Scarfed, she'll outrun pretty much everything either way. You won't be able to fit in Grass Knot because your team needs something to combat fighting types easily, and Psychic is the only move that can. Okay, so from what I can see, you have a big Machamp weakness in that none of your pokemon can eat a Dynamicpunch without taking some serious pain (except Hippowdon). You also can't really deal with any fighting types and have nothing that can even remotely touch Scizor. Zapdos can rip through all of your team (except Bronzong) regardless whether it runs HP Grass or Ice. Personally, I think Breloom isn't doing near enough for your team, regardless how useful it is. Furthermore, I think Starmie can do what Latias is doing just fine, and you don't need both. So as per replacing Breloom, I think Rotom might just do the trick. I think you should seriously consider a Rotom-S parafusion set in the place of Breloom, as it can take care of Grass and Fighting types that you have no good counter for and can play hell with your opponent's mind. If not, Togekiss is also an excellent option for a paraflinch or nasty plot set. If neither of those options appeal, defensive Zapdos can use its excellent movepool with HP Grass to deal a lot of significant damage. For replacing Latias, I'll be extremely quick in mentioning the ever popular and useful DDmence that has served me quite well in the past. For the last slot, use Fire Blast. I think CBmence would work aswell. A few other notable options include Gyarados, Kingdra, Mamoswine, Flygon, and possibly Dragonite (although for the most part he's an inferior Salamence). Try to use a physical set so you can be varied between physical and special. As far as shared weaknesses, your team is quite balanced the way it is. You have a fair number of Ice weaknesses, but Starmie can suck up Ice moves with no trouble, as can Bronzong assuming he's alive. You have a bug weakness that only Lucario can cover, and none of your pokemon can particularly retaliate. You are dangerously missing in Dark, Bug, Poison, Grass, and Fire attacks, most notably Grass and Fire which are both important types. You have only one Ice attack, which is too little considering the amount of dragons and ice weaknesses there are in today's Standard metagame. Cheers.
  23. Might be just me and my insanity, but I reset in front of Zapdos more then 30 times to get HP Grass. And I think this entire discussion is extremely hypocritical. For many of the wifi players on this forum (NOT all), they simply use Pokesav to create/edit whatever pokemon in however way they want, which I simply fail to see how thats very different from Shoddy. I rarely play on Wifi, simply because I'm too lazy in general to actually get my DS out and play on it. I do play on PBR, although basically every battle I'm in is full of hacked Ubers. And which hold items does Shoddy not have programmed in? Potions? Revives? Yeah, because that makes a ton of difference in a battle simulator designed to allow people to test their teams before they spend a month resetting/breeding for them ingame.
  24. Thanks. I agree that Celebi doesn't seem to be doing enough, but she checks Swampert, something that not much else on my team can reliably do. In any case, I now have three main pokemon choices to replace Celebi: Empoleon, which would be an Agility, 3 attacks set (I never liked sub-Petaya), which could still deal with Swampert (Grass Knot), Dragons [Mainly Salamence] (Ice Beam), and add a powerful STAB water attack to my team. I very much like that idea, and I've never used an Empoleon, so... I might try it. Secondly, Zapdos. I would without any doubts choose an offensive set, with Thunderbolt, Heat Wave, and HP Grass (and Roost). Yes, HP Ice would serve me better for disabling Dragons, but I require this pokemon slot to be able to check, and if possible counter, most forms of Swampert. Finally, Suicune. An offensive CM Suicune would be good, although I'd miss HP Grass in favor of Electric. Still, a Specs Suicune is a good consideration.
