  1. I agree. This is a complete crap guide and although I wouldn't say Zapdos would completely destroy it, but it would come close. Its not just type trumping. That team has no strategy. You need to consider a real strategy that has pokemon that aren't just shit hacks and work together to form a greater strategy. I could make a team like yours in about 10 seconds in any tiered environment and it would be absolutely destroyed on shoddy. Go to smogon's shoddy server and try using a team like that. Watch it get owned. Someone please delete this.
  2. Well, my desktop is a little more simplistic...
  3. Hello & welcome. Do you have any examples of your work?
  4. Thank you. I liked the darker layout, and this layout is too simple in my opinion. Thanks =) No worries
  5. Well, unfortunately Ninetales can't really ever make an effective starter. Drifloon is an interesting starter choice, and I suppose it could work, but you'd need to train it for competitive battling.
  6. I've never had any problems with my acekard. Might be a Rom problem. Try a new one?
  7. SR celebis, now that's a rare bunch. I'd be very interested in adding that to my collection. Whilst my own slaking breeding project was lost with my Diamond version, I can make a legal one if you wish. Of course I would never accept original celebis in return.
  8. Edit: Nevermind, no interest in trading obviously hacked pokemon. ~
  9. Well, firstly you need to consider tiers In case you don't know, a tier is a ranking of a pokemon's strength (essentially). These tiers are Uber, Overused (Standard), Borderline (sometimes merged with UU), Underused, and Never used. You can't use any Uber pokemon in a OU team, no OU pokemon in a UU team, etc. You have quite a mix. Ninetales: UU Salamence: OU Alakazam: OU Vileplume: NU Magnezone: OU Slaking: NU This is not a good mix, since you can't really win in any category. The only category you can play in is standard, and with that team you won't succeed. As Enkidu said, Ninetales is not a good opener. Whilst I am a fan of the pokemon, a shuffler can't really serve you as an opener. It can't really set up anything. The held item won't really do anything for you, it won't deal any real damage, and whilst as a pseudo-hazer it could serve you, I wouldn't use one as an opener anyway. I can tell you got your Salamence from smogon, but using a Jolly nature really doesn't serve you. In fact, Jolly is -Sp. Attack and you have Evs in that very stat; why would you use a - nature on it? Either use Naughty (+Atk, -SDef) or Naive (+Spd, -SDef). Alakazam looks great. Vileplume & Slaking, get rid of them. Its not the movesets, its the pokemon themselves; they suck. And I mean they REALLY suck. Get rid of them asap. Magnezone... well, I haven't used a Magnezone, so I wouldn't know.
  10. Nice thing to note, the new Pt hexadecimal values will soon be placed in legality checkers (if not already) and it will be an excellent way to differentiate between a good hacker and a poor hacker. I would say, all experienced pokesavers should start putting in all these values regardless where the pokemon was said to come from for safety's sake.
  11. I'm working on it. I'm slow about beating platinum and I don't feel like hacking through it. I've already transferred quite a few hacked pokes from my acekard, and intend to run vs recorder tests soon. Will be testing with: Legal Event Pokemon Hacked Event Pokemon Legit Pokemon Hacked Pokemon Obviously Hacked Pokemon Bad-Egg-Into-PBR Pokemon Hacked Stats Pokemon In order. ~
  12. Its already taken about... well, last I checked, it was well in production last August.
  13. Some might remember me from the old forum, some might not. I liked the old layout better =\
