Greetings, fellow hackers. I come to you with a question. I have located the file containing the different battle backgrounds in HG/SS, located in the pbr folder. However, I am uncertain of what extension these files are, or how to open them. I am asking the forum here if anyone has happened to come across any tools or knowledge on how to open these backgrounds so that they can be edited and shoved back into the narc file. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I've been combing all over the place and can't find a straight answer on this, but here we go. Is it possible to make a red pokemon other than Gyarados? It doesn't need to be legal or anything, just something that can be used in a personal game, because it would look nice, basically. I have Pokesav and can use it fine, but can't figure out what I would have to do to make that, if it's possible. If someone could perhaps point me in the right direction, that would be lovely. P.S. Point me in the right direction if I posted this in the wrong section >_<

With Sword Dance I'll be able to raise my Atk greatly at the begining of the battle. Aura Sphere will likely never miss. Close Combat is like Aura Sphere, but much stronger except it will most likely miss a lot. Extremespeed is my finisher move because at the end of the battle when the opponite pokemon has a little bit Hp left, thats when I'll use it. The pokesav download for HeartGold and SoulSilver is great except for the locations the pokemon can be caught from. I really want my pokemon to be from locations in Johto instead of Sinnoh. Is there any fix to this or will one come anytime soon?

Hi! I have encountered a disturbing problem today which I would greatly appreciate help on. I was on Pokesav for Platinum editing my Platinum save file. I made a Uxie become a Dratini (just to see what'd happen), by changing its species and name to Dratini, saved and downloaded the save file to my Platinum cart. I turned on my game and found a nasty surprise at the continue screen. My player name was no longer displayed and my play time (284:35) now appeared as ?35:?5. Clicking continue only revealed more damage. My character is now the female (it was originally the male). The frame text appears in is now formed of a glitchy half black half transparent lines. Attempting to view my party Pokémon freezes my Platinum, including the music. Attempting to view my party through the in-game PC reveals there are no Pokémon in it (in reality I should have six, including Uxie/Dratini). Taking about 20 steps results in an, "Oh?" message as though an egg were about to hatch (I have no eggs), followed by the screen going black and my game freezing. I have attempted to change Uxie back, make it another Pokémon (Vibrava), even delete it from my team, but downloading those saves did nothing to fix my game. I have also deleted my Platinum's save file from the cart and tried re-downloading it, but I get the glitched save again. When I view my Platinum save file in Pokesav for Platinum, everything looks fine and normal. I've used Pokesav for Platinum quite a number of times this month and never had any problems like this. I uploaded my Pearl's save file, edited it a bit, then edited it back to how it was before. Then I downloaded it back to the cart and there was no problem. I tried again with my Platinum and I got the glitched save once more. I would really appreciate help to get my Platinum save back to normal.

my Pokémon Soul Silver game freezers up when i hit yes to connect to wi-fi im using an AK2 with the unofficial kernal i also tried it with the official kernal and still no luck i tried holding X wen i load the game i tried changing settings around and still freezers but on my R4i it does freeze up but then i try again and it works fine so any help will be Much Appreciated.

I'm trying to make my team legit. It's on Soul Silver. I read over the 44th, 45th, etc. thread, and am not sure if I am setting up my pokemon correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ^ - ^ First is my suicune. I'm trying to set it as caught on Route 25, since it can be caught there as an event pokemon. Suicune's 44th and 45th are 00, as it's not an egg. From what I've gathered from other explanation threads, I assume 46th is 00, and 47th is AD, for Route 25. I don't know what to put for 85th, since I couldn't find a list of types of captures for HGSS. The same applies for my next 5 pokemon, as I want to set them all as eggs, given from the daycare couple, and hatched at goldenrod city. Again, I looked through some threads, but am still unsure of all the values I need. Again, like, 8000+ thanks to any smart poketechnician that is willing to help a poor programming impaired girl. ^ ^;

However, there are now tooltips explaining just about everything in it. There are some things that aren't quite covered though: Windows XP or newer is required. (However, it does run without issues on "emulated" Windows programs for Mac OS and Linux.) (This is only applicable to generation 4 games, and maybe not even HG/SS.) Using codes for party Pokemon can sometimes cause bad eggs upon activating the code. You can just activate it again and it should fix the problem. (You can check the summary after activating each time to see if it's fixed, or just close the party display and re-open it.) I don't think there's any way around this. As far as I know, this has no negative effect on the game when you save, as long as you don't save it with a bad egg. (I'm not even sure if saving with a bad egg would be harmful, but there's no reason to do so.) Pokemon can be dragged around amongst party/box slots. .pkm files can be dragged into and from party/box slots. You can associate compatible files (save files, .pkm files, etc) with PokeGen to be able to easily load them from Explorer windows. Holding alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will display that Pokemon's information instead of requiring you to right click and "View data". Holding shift + alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will set the slot's data with the tab's data. Obviously this is equivalent to right clicking and selecting "Set". If you don't want to receive updates to certain languages, delete the corresponding language file. If you can't figure out how to do something, read the tooltips. For those that don't know, tooltips are an informative message that gets displayed when you stop your mouse pointer over a control (editbox, dropdown box, button, etc) for a short period of time. There's also the questions and answers thread that's being updated occasionally. Note the date on posts in this thread if you're reading through it. There were many changes to the program since its initial release, including a rename, removal of generation 3 support, and other major redesigns. Also, this thread used to be the only way to post feedback/bugs for the program, prior to a forum section being made. That's why it has tons of posts when it's a locked thread.

Hi just a quick question how do i make a pokemon from scratch and make it 100% legal to work on wi-fi on pbr i made a new team i used pid iv generator all shiny pid's and i put in the hidden hex values on top of that but once i use them on pbr on wi-fi it tells me that some of the pokemon cant be used on the pass so i would appreciate any help and it only happends wen i search for random battles if i battle a friend it ignores to check if they are hacked or not Thanks
