  1. Maybe temporary... No way this can be temporary! No more #defianceshard being forced upon us, the staff is nice and their help channels actually help you. Move, please.
  2. Nothing. We don't believe in God, we don't celebrate Christmas. That's a s simple as it can get. Why wish for something like world peace when it's impossible anyway? Think rationally.
  3. You can get away with it and it'll look legal if the PID matches the IVs for caught Pokemon. For hatched ones, any PID will do. Why is that? The answer is, there's RNG manipulation. And with proper RNG manipulation, there are some dates where 31/31/31/31/31/31 Pokemon can be hatched. You're best off following the guide to find out how to obtain those dates. Caught Pokemon with a perfect IV spread (And even worse, with a perfect hidden power to go) are near impossible, but there ARE ways to get it done, you'll take ages finding a date, though. TLDR; Yes.
  4. It's not _officially_ OU yet. Posts concerning that: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2347618&postcount=137 http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2350062&postcount=138 Manaphy is currently banned on the Smogon OU tier, even though the website shows it as OU. Until stage 3-3 is finished, nothing will change right now. I'd personally think that letting Manaphy in OU will be devastating. With access to Tail Glow, it's pretty much good game when pulled off successfully. Of course, rain support IS way more difficult to achieve, but it is not necessary for Manaphy at all. Manaphy could easily run a RestTalk set with its great 100/100/100 defenses, or simply use Rain Dance itself to stop sand and have five turns of absolute status immunity and making Rest cheap again, even if it costs a move slot. Tail Glow + Rain Dance + Rest + Surf doesn't have very much type coverage, but if pulled off correctly, it'll clean the table before you even switched to your counter named Blissey.
  5. "Reclassify it as a plant." Yep, it's a plant alright. With Chlorophyll and stuff.
  6. It's... AWESOME! Maybe if you could get the lines to have the same stength everywhere, it'd be absolutely flawless, I guess.
  7. I recall Futura being a commercial font. By putting it up you might get in legal trouble. I'm not sure about others, but I'd take Futura Extra Bold down for now.
  8. Well, I'm doing things a slight bit different. I do EVERYTHING on my legit cartridge. To obtain/manipulate Pokemon, I trade them onto my flashcart and then back again, but my flashcart version isn't anything serious, really only made for pkm extractions. Also, it's really just me and my two DS, so it's not exactly trading to someone else.
  9. I never talked about a permanent server change.
  10. It might help if we'd choose some inofficial server where we all go to instead until PP.org is back. Maybe Rain? I guess that's up to the entire community, not just me.
  11. Narwhal: We're annoyed that business went down? Very well, then I'm gonna get you busy. I would like a signature, if possible in the format of my current one, maybe around 20 pixels bigger in height and width. Criteria: It contains both Gardevoir and Dragonite All artists have to make a signature. You have as much time as you want to, but I will not use any signature until all artists finished or stated in the thread why they cannot do the job. Do not use the official Ken Sugimori art for anything. Gardevoir and Dragonite may or may not interact with each other, it's up to you. If it makes your job any easier, you can also make two separate signatures containing each a Dragonite and a Gardevoir. Note that they shouldn't be "clones," thus not be the same, just with different renders and background coloring. Thank you very much.
  12. Are you sure that you don't mean memorized?
  13. No, you can't. The third generation marks a "new beginning."
  14. Here you go. A shiny, untouched, chained (At a chain of one), German Starly. That one should do the trick. Please keep in mind that, since it was a chain of one, do not remember if the patch sparkled - if not, it could be an unchained PID. shiny_starly_chained_german_ut.pkm
  15. First off, Nintendo isn't really aiming at homebrew, from what I think. Instead, they're targeting piracy. And with the possiblity to run homebrew, there's the possibility to do piracy. Just my two cents.
  16. Why, thanks for editing the poll, now my single vote has been moved to "OS X Snow Leopard" which I surely do not use. I voted for Linux, could you please move my vote? Thanks. Also, Darkrai204 was maybe moved to Linux, but I don't know if he's a Linux user. (For the record, if that sentence above was a case of TLDR for you: Linux)
  17. We've had that topic already: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?p=11437 and http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?p=35225.
  18. Congrations, Sabresite! Good luck and have fun today! (Not like you'd die earlier from getting older, but I guess you won't die too soon, will you?)
  19. I'm a supporter of "Overpowered / High Class / Middle Class / Low Class." It just appeals to me.
  20. I mean that you just have to breed normally until you hit the max IVs for Gen II: 15. If you get 15 IVs in Attack and Speed, you're basically done. However, if your max Attack and Speed Totodile has ended up male, you'll have to continue breeding, but use the newly bred Totodile as a parent to ensure that the hopefully female offspring has 15 Atk and Speed IVs as well.
  21. Then all you can do, is to do what you have to. Breed until you hit 15 IVs with Attack and Speed. Use that parent then if your 15 IV Totodile ended up male.
  22. Having no RNG would mean that all Pokemon would have had the same IVs and that isn't true. Soft resetting for a female Totodile as starter, or simply breed and pray that the RNG feels kind. That's about all you can do. As far as I know, nobody researched the random number generator for RBY/GSC.
  23. Yeah, we should roll out this discussion again. Anyway, I personally think that we need to rename tiers and stop naming them after usage, it's the wrong way to do things in a game like Pokemon. I would like to rename the current tiers. Uber = Uber OU = High Class BL/UU = middle Class NU = Low Class In Shoddy this was talked about already, the goal is to reach three tiers. High (Ubers), middle (OU+BL) and low (UU+NU). They're self-descriptive and would make the current metagame more colorful. Also, Pokemon should NOT be classified by usage at all. Stats/abilities/typing is what matters, usage does not. Now, where's the advantage of that? The current Metagame is really centralised. BL, while they're effectively OU Pokemon, are often seen as outclassed, even though they mostly work perfectly fine. This change would make the choice bigger. But a change like this also has disadvantages. Firstly, we would get completely incompatible with ALL other communities who still use Smogon's tier list. Nobody can deny that Smogon is the current standard. In addition, people need to re-learn everything they know if there are massive changes to the tiers. We need to get the time for testing Pokemon as well. Also, newbies will be quite confused if they join PP.org and notice that we have different tiers. But we can do our version of tiers. The UU ladder is in progress to be to a more balanced metagame. We just need all members/battlers to help making new tiers.
  24. In the footer, there are links to the W3C validation sites. The images are broken, though. Opera @ Linux. And what's the point of putting those up when the HTML isn't valid? Screenshot of the hidden images bug:
  25. Since I can't copy the entire warstory due to technical reasons I don't get, here's the crucial moment and some pre-story to it. Participating in this mini-story: MewtwoEx: CuleX:
