    Pokémon core series save editor, programmed in C#. Supports the following files: Save files ("main", *.sav, *.dsv, *.dat, *.gci) GameCube Memory Card files (.raw, .bin) containing GC Pokémon savegames. Individual Pokémon entity files (.pk*) Mystery Gift files (.pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc*) including conversion to .pk* Importing teams from Decrypted 3DS Battle Videos Transferring from one generation to another, converting formats along the way. Data is displayed in a view which can be edited and saved. The interface can be translated with resource/external text files so that different languages can be supported. Pokémon Showdown sets and QR codes can be imported/exported to assist in sharing.     Non Shiny Living Dex | Shiny Living Dex Key Description: This is probably one of the most comprehensive collections out there! This page hosts several save files, that have stored all available Pokemon in the Boxes. Presently, there are saves for RBYG, GSC, RSE, FRLG, DPPt, HGSS, BW, B2W2, XY, ORAS, SM, USUM, LGPE and SWSH. As of update 1.0.16, the RS save is ready for Eon Ticket distribution to Emerald via Record Mixing (RS needs to be player 1) Key things you should already know (but I'll remind you just in case): - Non-JPN Ilex Forest's Celebi will appear illegal on PKHeX, only if it's a .sav. (won't occur on a sav.dat) This is because the Celebi encounter for non-JPN games only occurred in VC games, not physical cart. - If you're importing into a VC game, the save must be named sav.dat - If you're importing into a 3DS (non-VC) game, the save must be named main (with no extension) - If you're importing into a Switch game, the save must be named main (with no extension) Extra Note: Note that variants for a few form change Pokemon were excluded from the main sets, as the saves were already full. Those are: Arceus, Furfrou, Silvally, Unown, Vivillon. Additionally, these form changes were not included, as they cannot legitimately exist in PC: Deoxys Pre Gen IV, Castform, Cherrim, Shaymin Pre Gen VII, Darmanitan, Kyurem only one at a time, Meloetta, Aegislash, Hoopa Pre Gen VII, Wishiwashi, Minior (the shelled up versions), Mimikyu (the busted disguise versions) Also, on an unrelated note, Celebi on ENG Gen II will show up as illegal, if the save isn't named sav.dat, as for the English versions, Celebi was only available to the Virtual Console versions. (so it is legal for VC versions [hence renaming to sav.dat]) Also do note, you not necessarily supposed to play with the saves. These saves are just a neat way to hold the mons. You could play with them if you want, but they're all across random parts of the story. Last Word: Despite these Pokemon being legal, I still need to say this: ProjectPokemon.org is not liable, if you somehow managed to get yourself banned with these Pokemon.

    All of the 920+ Pokemon in this save file are legal and will pass as legit. Every pokemon that can legally be obtained as a shiny has its shiny form in the save file, the other pokemon are there in non-shiny form. 90% of the Pokemon in this save file were hatched/captured in USUM meaning that they can be used on battlespot. The first evolutions of almost all of the Pokemon will be level 1; the middle evolutions are often level 70. A majority of the final stage evolution pokemon are a smogon set. I hope this save helps some people out there. All of the complete 806 pokemon sets I could find online were either completely riddled with illegal pokemon, or all of the pokemon only knew 1 move; that is not the case with this save file. Enjoy !     Hello ProjectPokemon! A friend of mine has stumbled upon Japanese NR Gamecube Discs, memory cards, and cart reader that were used for the Gotta Catch Em All Station at Pokemon Center NY distributions back in the day. We are planning on backing up & preserving everything. I'm posting here to reach out to those in the community who are way more well-versed than we are in the nitty gritty of Pokemon Event Distributions to help dig into the mystery of these discs/carts.     All of the 400+ Pokemon in this save file are legal and will pass as legit. Every pokemon that can legally be obtained as a shiny has its shiny form in the save file, the other pokemon are there in non-shiny form. The currently unobtainable legendaries are in box 20. A majority of the pokemon (and nearly all of the Gen8 Pokemon) will be level 70 with 6IV. The other Pokemon are level 100 and with competitive natures and stats. The movesets are not the best, but with a move-re-learner in every pokemon center this was not as much of a big deal to me. In the future the movesets will improve. This save does not have any "level 0" pokemon like lots of the other save files currently circulating the internet. Some of the Pokemon will appear in game to have stats/HP of 0. To fix this put any Pokemon displaying this problem in any slot 2-6 in your party and go and battle a wild pokemon. After the battle the pokemon should appear fainted, and can be healed at the Pokemon Center; with all of its stats returning to normal.

    This page contains several savefiles dumped from cartridges that were distributed a plethora of event pokemon directly from the Pokemon Center New York PCNY distribution hardware that recently surfaced. Hopefully it provides enough public satisfaction for everyone, while the preservation team undertakes this grand and lengthy task of hopefully enabling the software to become usable via emulation, as well as hopefully producing hardware mods for a publicly feasible physical method of distributing. This is our most major project by a long shot and will likely take quite some time, however now that everything is permanently in Project Pokemon's possession, any roadblocks toward the final goals would be on the technical side. Luckily the best minds are at work on each aspect of this project, so without revealing any further details in regards to that, have patience and remain optimistic. -------------------- For Generation III, a full box per campaign was distributed, with the TID for each incrementing from 00001 to 00030. The Ruby savefile is a male trainer so the OT names are all blue colored, and was loaded using the PCNYc memory card in Slot B of the NR GameCube. The Sapphire savefile is a female trainer so the OT names are all red colored, and was loaded using the PCNYd memory card in Slot B of the NR GameCube. Seven Gen 3 campaigns were preserved from the Slot A memory cards obtained. Each box in both savefiles have at least a few of every pokemon from the respective campaigns. For Generation II, three full boxes per campaign were distributed, with the TID for each incrementing from 00001 to 00060. This Gold savefile was loaded using the PCNYc memory card in Slot B of the NR GameCube. Four Gen 2 campaigns were preserved from the Slot A memory cards obtained.     Full Documents Related to the Distribution, the full copy of Pokemon Power Volume 6 is attached to this post: In the Fall of 1998 Nintendo Power held a contest to “Win Mew for your Pokémon collection!” 151 winners of this contest would be given the chance to mail their cartridge into the Nintendo Power Headquarters and receive it back with a brand-new mew on their game save. Contest winners were notified by mail by 2/28/1999 that they had won the contest, making this the earliest known Mew distribution in the west. Recently while browsing reddit, I ran across a post from Th4tGuyUKn0 showcasing his Original Red cartridge that was one of the lucky recipients of this contest. After scrolling through the thread, Th4tGuyUKn0 stated that the battery on the game had not yet dried out; upon reading this I immediately messaged him explaining Project Pokémon and asked him if he would be interested in dumping his game save. Luckily, he was all for it! The only problem was he could not remember which of his five Pokémon cartridges he left the mew on, and did not want to risk draining the more than two decades old cartridge battery by checking. Th4tGuyUKn0 graciously decided to send me all of his cartridges so that I could backup the saves and hopefully find the mew. With the amazing research done by @suloku on these save files, we are confident that we have found the Mew in question. In the Pokemon Blue game save we discovered a Mew with the TID 51273 (the same Mew ID# printed on the back of the cartridge) and the OT ‘MARIO’. Suloku has concluded that this Mew is definitely legit. It shares the exact same DVs as the YOSHIBA Mew, matches Mew machine distributions data-wise, and has the same OT Nintendo character naming convention that several forum posts from 2000~ reference. While this does raise questions about what distribution the supposed ‘NINTEN’ Mews are a part of, this Nintendo Power Mew is most certainly legit. Suloku was also able to find the Mew in the red save file as a deleted Pokémon (moved or deleted pokémon can be found in box savedata if it was not overwritten by another pokémon being stored in the same slot). Attached is the the .pk1 of the 1998 Nintendo Power 'MARIO' Mew. Thanks very much again to Th4tGuyUKn0 for sending and trusting us with these cartridges and Suloku for all of the great research, none of this would have been possible without them.     As part of this year's annual Christmas releases to the Pokemon event community, today we present the first Mew ever known to be preserved from the distribution held at SpaceWorld 1997. Not only is this our first Mew from SW97, it is also the oldest/earliest pokemon event we've ever had the privilege of preserving. This Mew was recently discovered through a post on Reddit by u/salinbreezy, in which he shows the Mew on a Japanese Blue cart that he found at a thrift store alongside several other Japanese Pokemon cartridges. I'd like to give special thanks to @suloku and @HaxAras who both emailed me in late September to inform me of it, while suloku asked me to contact salinbreezy myself to counter the time and expense of overseas shipping. Thankfully salinbreezy happily agreed to ship me his cartridge to allow me to dump the savefile. After direct examination, we're positive that this Mew is very likely legitimate. This Mew was distributed like most events of the era, by a "Mew machine", which as we know distributes identical Mews with TIDs incremented by 1 to the player's party. Bulbapedia provides a bit further information on the event, stating: To be eligible to receive a Mew, players had to submit an application postcard; only 100,000 people were able to receive this Mew. While originally going to be run from November 22 to 23, 1997, the distribution was later extended to the non-exhibition day November 24, 1997. While this is the ヨッシー (YOSHI) OT variant of the SW97 Mew, one of the other known OT possibilities is ルイージ (LUIGI). This is TID 15219 of the ヨッシー Mews. Again, I'd like to thank salinbreezy for allowing us to preserve this Mew. It may very well be the only Mew we ever see from SpaceWorld 1997, as the life of the batteries retaining these old savefiles are at their very end.     DISCLAIMER FROM MODS (DO NOT REMOVE THIS DISCLAIMER): 1) [Added via edit] I’ve been told it is patched, so locked 2) There's a chance that (in a future) people can get banned for using this method. I (theSLAYER) personally don't recommend it, but I also know we can't stop people. File info: This is a game file for Ultra Moon, in which I injected the shiny form of every new Pokemon in gen 8, including Meltan and Melmetal. They are all shiny. I have separately put the non-shiny forms of the legendaries of this generation in Box 4, with the shiny forms (the only illegal Pokemon) of the legendaries in box 3 with the rest of the Pokemon. They seem illegal, however once they are transferred, they will work fine as I have used Batch Editor to change the version and locations of the Pokemons' origins. Above I have attached a picture of what it looks like in the editor in Ultra Moon compared to how it looks in Sword and Shield. All the Pokemon will be legal to use online except for shiny Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus, and can be transferred to sword and shield by putting this save file onto Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon, then putting them all into Pokemon Bank, and then transferring them to Pokemon HOME. At that point, they can be put into Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield and used online. They will not appear to be the Pokemon they are listed as until they reach HOME, where the data can be recognized. What This Has: All Pokemon between #808 and #890, shiny, and copies of Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus non-shiny All of the above Pokemon in National Pokedex order All of the above Pokemon with 6 Perfect IVs Due to the Form Argument being difficult to manage in batch editor, I put in Shiny Galarian Yamask instead of Runerigus. If anyone can help to make a .pk7 file for Runerigus, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment on this post. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. NOTE: The shiny forms of Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus are located in box 3, and you may have some difficulty transporting them from your game to Bank, and Bank to HOME, as they are shiny Galar legendaries and therefore illegal, I apologize if that is the case. If you want me to add any Galarian Pokemon, just ask. I will likely update this file once the DLC is released in June, and then again in Fall of 2020 for both the Isle of Armor DLC and the Crowned Tundra DLC. After Testing, I have decided to announce two things: The Pokebank blank screen error occurs while disconnecting, not saving, so it's safe to save, and then directly try to import to home after restarting. You MUST rename the file 'main' before importing it or it will not work In the Batch Editor, with whatever Pokemon you choose to use, type in these commands(in place of X but the box number) =Box=X .PID=$rand .PID=$shiny .SID=$rand .EncryptionConstant=$rand If you doubt it worked, open a sword and shield window in PKHeX and drag it over, and press View then Set on the pokemon, if there is no illegal symbol, you were successful. I just got back from a short break from PKHeX and Project Pokemon. Not to bring up any controversy, but I’ll be available for probably at least a week straight starting most likely this Wednesday, as my school is having early dismissal tomorrow due to worries about Corona, with a chance of a full break.     Introduced in the middle of February, Pokémon HOME allows for transferring from Bank and Let's Go Pikachu / Eevee as a central storage site with connectivity to Sword & Shield. When a Pokémon is transferred from Bank or Let's Go Pikachu / Eevee into HOME, it is assigned a unique 64 bit number to differentiate it from other uploads. Pokémon that have not yet visited HOME do not yet have a HOME tracker. Pokémon that are traded in-game without HOME do not get assigned a tracker (SW/SH <-> SW/SH). Pokémon that must travel thru HOME to reach the game it resides on must have a HOME tracker (SW/SH origin do not have a tracker). Pokémon that are uploaded in the same batch are not guaranteed to have a similar tracker (usually incremental). Pokémon that aren't yet in the PK8 format cannot have a tracker value assigned (Bank did not track). It is only a concern in PK8 format. What exactly might this value be used for? Differentiation of unique uploads, to prevent users from depositing & withdrawing the same data to boost their counts. Tracking how Pokémon are traded between users. Detecting if a Pokémon has been modified from the original upload. Detecting if a Pokémon is foreign from the HOME system (having a value of zero). When Pokémon with the same Tracker value are uploaded to HOME, they are discarded (deleted). It only retains the first unique Pokémon with that tracker value, on a per-account basis. It appears the best practice is to let the server assign you a tracker, rather than having a blatantly wrong tracker. Historically, GameFreak does not obsess over this metadata, so having arbitrary/lacking tracker values might not matter at all. Only HOME can determine if a tracker value is valid. Due to the described behavior, here are our recommendations: When cloning Pokémon in Sword & Shield, clear the tracker value for all clones you create. When creating new Pokémon that are from prior generations for Sword & Shield, leave the tracker blank and transfer it to HOME. When creating new Pokémon that originate in Sword & Shield, leave the tracker blank. When modifying Pokémon that have already visited HOME, zero out the tracker if you change anything that can't be changed in-game. Why not create a random tracker value? Again, only HOME can determine if a tracker value is valid. HOME can possibly check tracker values to see if the details match the original upload (modified data). HOME can possibly check tracker values to see if the details are on another user's account (cloned data). Uploading to HOME without a tracker value will automatically assign a new one. You can receive Pokémon that lack a tracker value from other players via trade (in addition to SWSH natives). PKHeX's default settings are to ignore missing tracker values (should be on every non-Gen8 origin Pokémon that is residing in Gen8+), but has a toggle setting to opt-in for strict checking. This is to allow users to create the most-legal data without forging an INVALID tracker value, which will be legal after transferring in & out of HOME.

Probably okay to be shortened if it's a nickname or something, but if you gonna say to full thing, please get it right Next, how am I supposed to give information regarding "when a hypothetical update to PKHeX will drop", when such information does not exist? The "wait patiently" reply I've been giving literally applies to everyone, including me. Now, learn how to have some self-control and wait patiently.

Dolphin gets weird about Region-Free patching. https://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/ShowMiiWads Finally the Japan-exclusive WiiWare Pokémon Mystery Dungeon titles, the Adventure Squad series, have been translated! Patches for each game have been released after months and months of hard work from fans of the series. The team has also worked with the Wiimmfi and RiiConnect24 teams in order to restore the event Pokémon that were distributed for this game. Other features of the translation include: -Pokémon nickname limit expanded to 10 characters (Japanese 5) -Buddy Passwords fully functional. These can now be found by hitting the Wii Home button, then pressing the "Operations Guide" button. -Pre-patched with Wiimmfi and RiiConnect24 for ease of event access. Friend Rescues do not work currently, but are being looked into. -Item icons and many descriptions ported from Super Mystery Dungeon -Dummied/beta items ported from Explorers of Sky have been restored. Inaccessible in-game, can be accessed with cheats. -It's in English now, which is cool.

    MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE MENU/ANIMATION AFFECTING THE RNG, READ HERE. First and foremost, although all of these Jirachi's are "legit" and can be in theory generated and retrieved by the Pokemon Channel game; in actuality lots of them could almost certainly not be redeemed through normal RNG on retail hardware/emulators. There is an entire methodology that goes into determining whether or not a certain Jirachi spread can actually be redeemed through RNG (due to the necessity to hit things are certain frames that would be impossible to interact with on actual hardware), and even if you follow that guide to a tee, sometimes redeeming that specific spread Jirachi will just not be possible. If you want to ensure that the Jirachi you are trying to redeem could actually be retrieved on hardware, there are more in-depth guides here and here. With that said, nothing "illegal" is being created through this process; the Pokemon Channel game can, in theory, produce all of these different spread / shiny Channel Jirachis. For this process you are going to need: A developer version of Dolphin Emulator at least 5.0+ and a PAL Copy of the Pokemon Channel A version of VBA + a western Ruby/Sapphire game that can redeem the Jirachi. The ability to run this python script RNG Reporter 10.3.4 (Optional) A list of very good possible Channel Jirachi Spreads One final note before starting, the majority of the research that was done into figuring this out was done by people with much more knowledge of RNGing Channel Jirachi than I will ever have. So if you want to know most of the logic behind it, I probably cannot help you haha. All I did was figure out how to put this guide together. First off, we are going to run RNG Reporter 10.3.4 and make sure the Method is set to 'Channel.' Then you are going to choose a desired seed, and the maximum amount of frames you are willing to go up to. For this example, and to keep things simple, I picked a random seed '83213901,' set the frame counter a very small amount (5000). and clicked off the "Shiny Only" box as I want to retrieve a shiny Channel Jirachi. Now we are going to run the python script linked in the requirements. I have set the IV and thresh to 0, in order to generate every possible spread between frames 0-5000. This takes longer, and for an actual desired spread you would want to find out what threshold the Jirachi would be at, in order to generate as few results as possible. Once we've run the python script, you want to find the PID of your desired spread. Make sure that the spread matches, and then copy down the highlighted memory address of your spread. This is the important part! Next you are going to want to launch Dolphin in developer mode. In order to do that you need to launch dolphin from CMD or command line with the '-d' parameter. At this point you want to setup VBA and make sure that it is ready to connect to Dolphin. Once that is done, launch the Pokemon Channel and proceed through the standard Jirachi redemption process to this screen: Once on this screen you want to find the Memory location '8033d888' and set the value equal to whatever you address that you copied from the python script.     FYI, The 1st NDS Japan Pokemon Distribution Cartridge has been preserved for all! Japan distribution cartridges are extremely rare. Indeed, this is the first Japan NDS cartridge that has been preserved. I had not even seen a picture of a Japan NDS distribution cartridge in the wild, until I made this purchase! Boy oh boy was this cartridge not cheap to obtain! I have seen pictures of GBA Japan distribution cartridges, but this remains the only Japanese one that we have seen pictures of for NDS. This cartridge is extremely rare. According to a Nintendo website archive, this event was distributed at under 1000 different locations in Japan. This cartridge is a true one of a kind cartridge, another one is not known to exist in private hands! My hopes is that preservation of this cartridge, will be seen by others who have distribution cartridges that have not yet been preserved. My hopes is that that they will be encouraged to forever preserve there distribution cartridges publicly for future generations to use. If anyone knows of others having this cartridge, please let me know. Or if others has pictures of Japan NDS cartridges, let me know.     Latest Version: v1.3.0 (2019-04-16) An enhancement hack of Pokémon Platinum. Summary Pokémon Renegade Platinum is an enhancement hack of Pokémon Platinum Version, similar to my other hacks such as Sacred Gold & Storm Silver and Blaze Black & Volt White. In a nutshell, this hack generally keeps the same story flow as the original Pokémon Platinum but adds in a significant number of gameplay differences, including but not limited to access to all 493 Pokémon in the game, revamped Trainers including tougher boss fights, lots of (optional) changes to weaker Pokémon to make them easier to use, the removal of trade only evolutions and a number of other quality of life changes. The specifics of what parts have been changed are explained in the paragraphs below. Features All 493 Pokémon Available All Pokémon that were originally in Platinum, from Bulbasaur to Arceus, are available to obtain within the game. The wild Pokémon for every single area have been modified extensively, now including species not ordinarily found in the Sinnoh region. It's possible to catch or obtain the majority of Pokémon before facing the Elite Four for the first time, meaning you can construct almost any team you want. In the cases where a Pokémon being in the wild would not be thematically appropriate - for example, starter Pokémon or legendaries - new events have been added to the game to make obtaining these Pokémon feel as unique as they normally would. The details for where to get each Pokémon can be found between the wild Pokémon and special events documents. Additionally, the correct locations for wild Pokémon are also shown in the Pokédex. (Big thanks to Mikelan98 for that feature!) Revamped Trainer Battles The Pokémon rosters of every Trainer in the game has been edited, now including Pokémon from the National Dex. Trainer levels have also been modified to fit the new level curve, which is now higher than before due to bigger Pokémon rosters and greater use of evolved Pokémon awarding larger amounts of EXP. Trainers can now expect their Pokémon to reach the 70s by the Elite Four, instead of the 50s that was the case in the original Platinum. Additionally, all Trainers use the AI that is normally only used by boss Trainers such as the Elite Four. The details for what each Trainer has can be seen in the Trainer Pokemon document. Please note that this feature is purely for the normal Trainer battles in the game; the Battle Frontier has not been changed. Harder Boss Battles Important battles such as the rival, Gym Leaders, Galactic Admins or the Elite Four have had their difficulty increased further than normal Trainers. Gym Leaders and Elite Four members now always use 6 Pokémon instead of the 3-5 from before, and all of these battles have them using high IV Pokémon with custom movesets, held items, and sometimes ideal natures. The first round Elite Four and the Champion also have the unique property of randomly picking from four teams to battle you with, making it impossible to know in advance what their lead Pokémon will be. They shouldn't be literally impossible to beat, but are definitely a much greater challenge than the original version. You can expect some of your Pokémon to faint in battle unless you bring some strategies of your own to the table. However, they do retain their aesthetics from the original, including their type focuses and signature Pokémon. Their signature Pokémon are also now equipped with a Poké Ball seal for some extra flair! The details for all of these battles can be seen in the Trainer Pokémon file in the documentation. Pokémon Modifications The Fairy-type from the Gen 6 games and later has been added in Renegade Platinum, replacing what was previously the ??? type. All Pokémon have had their typing, base stats and wild held items updated to match what they are as of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, meaning you can now use Pokémon such as Clefairy and Ralts with their Fairy-type as in the later games. Pelipper and Torkoal also gain their new Drizzle and Drought abilities from Gen 7, and a lot of Pokémon gain their Hidden Ability from Gen 5 and later as a secondary standard ability in this hack. All Pokémon have also had their level up move sets completely revamped. Pokémon will now learn their normal level up moves but now also learn other moves that enable them to be the best they can be, including TM moves, Egg moves and moves they only have access to in previous or later generations, up to and including Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! Some Pokémon also get the chance to learn entirely new moves that they never could before, such as Megahorn for Pinsir and Earth Power for Typhlosion. The levels at which they learn the moves have been structured so that you can reliably access them just by naturally playing the game (i.e. you won't get moves at extremely high levels). Some Pokémon have also had their TM/HM compatibility modified, in some cases adding in moves that they could ordinarily only learn in later generations (such as Drain Punch for Toxicroak), and other cases granting them access to entirely moves by TM (e.g. Drain Punch for Dusknoir). Additionally, several TMs have been replaced with new moves, including Scald, Wild Charge, Bug Buzz, Hyper Voice, Dazzling Gleam and Hurricane. Pokémon TM compatibility has been adjusted to match their compatibility in later generations, or in the case of the newcomers Bug Buzz and Hurricane, my best generous guess has been made as to what might be able to learn them. There's also been much greater compatibility added for Fly, meaning you don't necessarily almost always need a Flying-type Pokémon to get anywhere conveniently. In addition to this, there are also a number of custom changes to make certain Pokémon unique and/or easier to use. Many Pokémon who are a bit weaker have received buffs to their base stats, meaning previously weak Pokémon like Butterfree and Ledian can now actually put up a fighting chance. Some Pokémon with decent stats in bad areas have had their stats reshuffled, such as Glaceon who is now faster but less defensive. Some Pokémon have also been given new types to play with, such as the now Bug and Dragon-type Flygon, or the Ghost and Fairy-type Mismagius. Some Pokémon also gain new abilities that they can't ordinarily get, such as Weavile gaining the Technician ability. If you don't like the sort of changes that are listed in that last paragraph, there is an additional patch you can use called "ClassicVersion.xdelta" which will erase these changes from the game, leaving them the same as they would be as of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. The details for these modifications can be found in the Pokemon Changes and Type Changes files in the documentation. Quality of Life Changes A number of quality of life changes have been made to the game. All Pokémon names are now decapitalised everywhere outside of standard NPC dialogue. This means in battle, the Pokémon status screen etcetera, all names show up as they would in Gen V and later. Pokémon natures are now displayed in the stat screen with their stat boost and reduction shown next to them (as stat highlights were not a thing in Platinum). For example, where it previously said "Brave nature.", you should now see "Brave (+Atk, -Spe)". All Pokémon have their egg cycles reduced to 0, meaning they hatch very quickly. The Poké Radar is now given to you near the beginning of the game. The Bicycle is actually given to you at the start of the game. The Pokétch, still given to you near the start, now includes all 25 Pokétch apps right off the bat. Additionally, the three coupon miniquest has been removed. The Move Relearner and the Move Tutors that previously required Heart Scales and Shards respectively no longer require payment for their services; you can just talk to them and they'll do their job for free. Additionally, all three Move Tutors now sit in the same house on the southern part of Route 212. The Move Deleter is now available as early as Oreburgh City, meaning you no longer need to wait until Canalave City to delete any HMs. When fishing with a rod, an encounter is now guaranteed, as opposed to previously where it was possible to 'not get a bite'. Honey trees have also been given a total overhaul and now give you a Pokémon instantly instead of you having to wait for several hours. The encounters for honey trees are different from before as they are now script driven - you can view what is on each tree in the Wild Pokémon document. TMs are now effectively infinite; picking up or obtaining a TM will reward you with 99 copies of that TM, and these can also be refreshed by talking to a new NPC at the Pokémon League. These TMs cannot be bought at any stores and also cannot be sold. Most TM locations have been reshuffled and can be seen in the Item Locations document. You will only find TMs from either picking them up off the ground or receiving them from NPCs. (It unfortunately proved impossible to make the TMs actually infinite, hence this method instead). The need to use HMs has been removed where possible. Surf, Waterfall and Rock Climb are still necessary, but Cut trees, Strength rocks (with one exception in the Distortion World), Rock Smash rocks and foggy weather have been completely removed from the game, meaning your Pokémon no longer need to learn these moves to progress. Where roadblocks are necessary, NPCs have replaced them and will disappear when necessary. This does mean there are now some cases where you can access areas much earlier than you were previously able to do. Additionally, any darkness on the map has also been removed, meaning Flash is also no longer ever necessary. The Pokémon sprites are those normally used in Heart Gold and Soul Silver, which for the most part look better than the Platinum equivalents. There are a couple exceptions to this where I've left the front sprite as the Platinum one for Pokémon such as Blastoise, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Tyranitar and Togekiss. Additionally, the mini sprites used in the Pokémon menu and the Boxes are now the Gen 6 icons (albeit some with some slightly off colours), with thanks to MeroMero for distributing a premade file containing them. Most of these changes are not documented anywhere, but you may notice them as you play through the game. Increased Shiny Rate By default, Renegade Platinum features a new shiny rate of 1/512, meaning while shiny Pokémon are still reasonably rare, it's significantly more likely that you'll come across one while playing the game. This shiny rate does not affect the Poké Radar's ability to generate shiny patches of grass, but does otherwise affect every other method of Pokémon encounter (eggs, gifts, wild etc). If this feature is undesirable, there are additional patches included in the download that can make the shiny rate 1/4096 (equal to Gen 6 and above) or 1/8192 (equal to Platinum's normal rate) instead. Increased Gameplay Speed The download includes a "SpeedUpPatch" which can be applied to Renegade Platinum which adds a few things to speed up the normally sluggish gameplay in Platinum. It does three things: all text will appear instantly, HP and EXP bars will no longer animate between positions and the 30 FPS cap of the game has been removed, allowing it to run up to a maximum of 60 FPS depending on the hardware capability. These changes together mean battles can go significantly faster. Please note that these speed up features are not included in the base Renegade Platinum and need to be applied via one of the additional patches supplied in the download. New Events and NPCs A number of small events have been added to the game, including an additional event with Team Galactic, small events to obtain starters and legendaries, more in-depth events to get mythical Pokémon such as Mew, Celebi and Arceus and more. Some new events have also been added that change the story flow slightly. For example, upon arriving at Eterna City, you will find that Gardenia isn't present at her gym. The player is instead required to make a short detour to Route 216 - which was previously inaccessible until gaining six badges - giving them the chance to pick up some Ice-type Pokémon much earlier than before. Another example is that the player now visits Pal Park between going to Celestic Town and Canalave City. You also now battle Lucas or Dawn a few times as you go about your adventure! In addition, there are also some battles with each of the stat trainers (Cheryl, Mira etc), related to their individual events. There are lots of small events that allow you to obtain Pokémon. For example, you can get an Eevee early in the game that is being taken care of by the player's mother. You can get a Lapras from an old lady in Pastoria City who has a small story to tell, and you can get a Beldum by talking to Steven, who is now taking up residence in Oreburgh City. And much more! There are also a number of additional NPCs that will do things such as sell you evolution items, give you items unique to certain Pokémon such as the Stick, and a whole new training NPC in Solaceon Town's Pokémon Daycare who will help you train your Pokémon in levels or EVs, making any necessary grinding a lot faster. The details for some of these modifications can be found in the NPC Changes and Special Events files in the documentation. Evolution Modifications Pokémon that previously had to be traded to evolve can now evolve within the game itself. Those that evolve by trade and did not require an item now simply evolve at Level 36. Those that did require an item can now evolve by having the item used on them, similar to an evolution stone. Additionally, a number of Pokémon have had their evolution levels lowered to make them easier to use. For example, Omanyte and Kabuto, who previously wouldn't evolve until a high level 40, now evolve at a much easier Level 30, allowing them to keep up with the other Pokémon in your teams. Finally, some evolution methods were changed to be less restrictive. Pokémon who could evolve from happiness at specific times of the day now just need to be happy, and Eevee, who previously required happiness and location evolutions, now uses standard evolutionary stones for all of its evolutions. The details for these modifications can be found in the Evolution Changes file in the documentation. Move Modifications A number of useless or rarely seen moves have been replaced with moves from later generations. Examples include Draining Kiss, Scald, Icicle Crash, Drill Run, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Bulldoze, Play Rough, Hurricane and Wild Charge. New moves borrow animations from other moves that are similar (e.g. Drill Run uses Horn Drill's animation), or have animations that are slightly modified from a different move (e.g. Moonblast uses Mist Ball with a moon background). These new moves can be learnt by level up or in some cases, TM. In addition to this, a number of moves have had their stats adjusted slightly. For example, Shadow Punch and Shadow Claw are now a much stronger 80 base power. HMs in particular have been boosted to make them more attractive as battling moves, such as Fly now having 100% accuracy and Rock Climb being a Rock-type move. The details for these modifications can be found in the Move Changes file in the documentation. Item Modifications The locations of many items in the game have been shuffled around, allowing the player better access to them throughout the game. For example, the various evolution items are now found much earlier in the game, and can also be purchased from either the Veilstone Department Store, the Veilstone Game Corner or from an NPC in Snowpoint City. Locations for most items are shown in the Item Changes document. You'll be able to find items such as the EXP Share and the Soothe Bell much earlier than previously. TMs are now effectively infinite, as explained in the quality of life changes. Poké Balls, Great Balls and Ultra Balls have also been made cheaper to assist the player in what will likely end up being a greater amount of Pokémon caught than normal. A few previously unused items are now used or replaced with new Key Items as well, relevant to new events within the game. Additionally, the previously event only Key Items such as the Secret Key, Member's Card, Gracidea and Azure Flute can now be obtained and their relevant events unlocked within the normal gameplay. The details for these modifications can be found in the Item Changes file in the documentation. Trade Modifications The in-game trades found in Platinum have been adjusted to give you new Pokémon that are otherwise hard to find at the stage of the game the trade is at. For example, you can now trade for a Spheal in Oreburgh City. In addition to this, the obedience check that makes traded Pokémon not listen to you has been disabled, meaning you can use these traded Pokémon with no worries. The details for these modifications can be found in the Trade Changes file in the documentation. Documentation As you may have seen at the end of each section, there is documentation available in the form of text files for mostly every change that has been made in the game. Tools Used BTX Editor: Made by KazoWAR, this tool was helpful for getting some new overworlds into the game, such as Steven, a few of the legendaries and more. crystaltile2: An invaluable tool for importing/exporting/locating particular files from NARCs, as well as being very helpful when implementing the Fairy-type. Hex Workshop: Helpful for those times where I needed to do things via hex editing. JackHack Tools: A number of tools from his site were used, including a Pokémon Editor, Attack Editor and Trade Editor. kiwiDS: Helpful for some cases where I needed to get the individual files for a NARC. Lua Scripts: A Lua script by Kaphotics that displayed the X/Y coordinate of the player on the map, allowing me to position overworlds correctly. PKHeX: While not used for actual development, it came in useful a few times to figure out how things worked. PokeDSPic Platinum: Used in a few cases where sprites had to be modified from their standard HG/SS versions. PPRE: Used primarily for scripting and placing overworlds on the map, as well as some text editing. Both 0.14b and 0.12 were used to get around the issues related to freezes caused when saving the script in 0.14b. SDSME: Used for editing text that wasn't tied to a map, as well as configuring the "weather" for places like Twinleaf Town and Wayward Cave. Tinke: Extremely helpful for some graphical changes, including the Steven trainer sprite and adding the Renegade Platinum logo to the title screen. I also used some tools that I made on my own to deal with the wild encounters and level up moves, as the existing tools had usability issues or bugs preventing me from doing what I wanted. These two tools aren't currently publicly available but I can hand them over on request, they're just a bit shoddy! Credits Alpha, SCV: The creators of PPRE, which was incredibly useful. JackHack96: I used a number of his tools when building the hack. JimB16: For his Platinum disassembly on GitHub. While it wasn't used to actually develop with, it came in useful quite a few times to locate certain bits of data (including the solution for dealing with the traded Pokémon obedience issue). Kaphotics: A very talented hacker in the data mining sense, Kaphotics' wealth of NDS knowledge helped me to avoid one or two potential issues as I was building the game; his advice was incredibly helpful. The Lua scripts for the player's position and the Instant Text code that is implemented into the "SpeedUpPatch" were both made by him, too. KazoWAR: For his BTX editor tool as well as his YouTube tutorial on adding Trainer sprites to Pt/HG/SS via Tinke. Markitus95: The creator of SDSME, which was also useful. MeroMero: Another extremely talented NDS hacker, MeroMero posted a lot of tutorials on Project Pokémon that were directly relevant to things I wanted to do, such as changing the shiny rate or finding out how to adjust the position of Pokémon sprites in battle. His tutorial for adding Fairy-type to HG/SS was also what I adapted to get it working in Platinum. Finally, the Gen 6 mini Pokémon icons were also completely thanks to him (as seen here: https://projectpokemon.org/home/forums/topic/36081-gen-6-pokémon-icons-for-gen-4-and-5/). mikelan98: An extremely talented NDS hacker, he produced lots of helpful tutorials for NDS hacking, and it was also him who provided files allowing me to show Pokémon locations in the Pokédex and for the Fairy-type icon to display correctly in the Pokédex. It also includes a recommended patcher called Delta Patcher Lite (which may only be usable on Windows - Mac users can try MultiPatch), a changelog for the game and some instructions on how to patch. There's also Readme files in each patch folder to further explain what each of the different files do and what you need to do to get it working correctly. If you get into any problems, make sure you've read the Readme files first. Generally, you will need to get a Platinum ROM (which you'll have to obtain by yourself), then use the correct patch for that as there's a v1 and a v1.1 of Platinum. After that, you can then apply additional patches to it with Delta Patcher Lite, but you may need to uncheck the "checksum validation" when using additional patches to be able to apply more than two of them to your game.     Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a little gem. It is a perfect Jirachi! For anyone that isn't aware, multiple events in 2003 including World Hobby Fair and Festa 2003 used Gamecube Dev systems with Pokemon Machine v2 attachments and a GBA slot to distribute Jirachi. This was the same machine that was used at PCNY for generation 2 and generation 3. Note: There are actually 6 possible PIDs with perfect IVs.     Hello everyone, today I bring you yet another Gen I Mew contribution, this time thanks to Vezokair who was kind enough to share the Mew with all of us. A month ago TotalTS contacted me about this reddit post where Vezokair was asking for help to determine if the Pokémon Red cartridge she just bought contained a legit Mew on it, as there was a distribution in Finland and the OT and TID matched the known data about the distribution. She posted this image, but the mew is not fully stat (EV) trained so DV (or IV) data couldn't be accurately calculated and know if it had the known fixed DVs gen I mews had. I contacted Vezokair and talked about the possibilty of dumping the savegame and preserving the mew, and she was willing to help, so after exposing several backup options she decided to acquire a backup device and a couple days ago I was sent the dumped savefile. She also told me the savefile seems to have been glitched in some way and that there are multiple mews on it, but after analizing the data of the mews and comparing the data with other known legit distributions we have these were my conclusions: - All of the mews present in the savefile are clones of the same mew (only difference is stat experience which is normal if the mew were used after cloning). - The original mew (or all of them) were stored in a generation II game at some point and the held item was removed or used (bitter berry) before cloning and transfering to this cartridge. - All the data in the mew(s) indicate it is a legitimate mew. My hypothesis: original owner traded the mew to gen 2 for pokedex completion and gameplay use. At some point the mew got confused and used the bitter berry it got when traded to gen 2. Later that mew was cloned multiple times (since box cloning in gen 2 games was a really easy method) and then they were trasnfered to the pokémon Red cartridge Vezokair bought. This is the third european Mew were are able to collect, the fourth if we count the spanish mew (it has a bogus story and different DVs, you can read the story in it's own thread). Due to fixed DVs it is not interesting gameplay wise, but as preservation is concerned and the batteries being almost dry every single event pokémon we can get is gold. Best regards FINLAND MEW.zip

    For several years now Pokemon distributions for the Gen 3 GameBoy Advance games have been turning up on sites like Ebay. With that in mind you might think it’s controversial I have recently shared how these official GBA development flash carts these are been sold on can easily be re-flashed: Flash / Write Official GBA Development Flash Carts With An Nintendo DS This means GBA prototypes and Pokemon Distributions can now easily be duplicated, with replicas sold on as the real thing for significant amounts of money on Ebay. The Problem: Although not talked about, the sad reality of the situation is method of re flashing GBA devcarts has been exploited in certain circles to keep selling clones of rare Pokémon event distributions for many €1000’s on Ebay, passing them off as originals. Myself and others in the Pokemon community have long since suspected this was been done, however no conclusive proof has ever been obtained on how this was been done. Even asking on communities such as Assmebler Games which deal with obscure development hardware revealed little to suggest it was easy to clone these distributions, or the official GBA development hardware was readily available to purchase. With that in mind people have been happy to purchase these distribution replicas, sometimes for as much as €2000 on Ebay, believing their genuine and were used at past Nintendo events. When certain Pokemon distributions have been dumped it been possible to see remnants of what was previously flashed to the card, as these Official GBA Development Flash Carts are much larger than the actual Pokemon event distribution software. In one such example we can see Mortal Kombat Advance had simply been overwrote on this particular cart. This was always suspicious as we very much doubted Game Freak has been using second hand development cartridges obtained from Midway Games, although not impossible. What is somewhat ironic is myself and others had basically worked out how GBA devcarts were been re flashed a long time ago, it was just never possible to test the theory. It's possible to Flash / Write Official GBA Development Flash Carts With An Nintendo DS using the FAS1 homebrew application, as shown in the video below: I’d personally been using FAS1 to flash my old Flash2Advance flashcard for years, using an Nintendo DS Lite. I knew later versions of FAS1 were supposed to have support for GBA development flashcards, although at the time I had no compiled binaries of newer versions of FAS1 or even a GBA development flashcard to test this theory with. That all changed earlier this year when a compiled version of FAS1 was was obtained and two different GBA development carts were purchased for testing. Needless to say re flashing a official GBA development flash cart now took less time than it did to make a good cuppa tea. Genuine Pokemon Generation 3 Distributions: Now you might be thinking real distributions must have been on the market at some point for the distributions out there today to be dumped. You’d be correct, some of these sold in 2012 on Nintendo Age, these were of course sealed in a GBA. To assist you with potentially identifying these in the future here are images of original GBA Pokemon Gen 3 distributions that we know of, sealed in their respective units: 10 ANNIV: Aura Mew: BFG Shiny Zigzagoon: US Aurora Ticket: EU Eon Ticket: (Probably dumped, however not dumped / released that I know of): Where is the conclusive proof? You'd be right in thinking I've made a lot of claims and not posted much proof, I honestly don't have any interest in all the drama that comes with that. If you wan't to believe me thats great, if not that's cool, I'd sooner people just know how easy it is to clone Gen 3 Pokemon distributions that are on development hardware and have as much information as possible to enable them to make an informed purchasing decision in the future. Myself and various people in the Pokemon event community have seen said proof of such activities earlier in the year, so its out there and if you ask around i'm sure you will also find it. Conclusion: I think I've shared enough information on how its been done to bring widespread awareness to the practice, which will hopefully make people think twice before spending a lot of money on a distribution which has already been dumped and released just to "own something original". In the event something genuine does surface you have a good idea of what it might look like from the above images, certainly i'd be a lot more inclined to believe its an original if it was sealed in a GBA. So at least now the information is out there people can make an informed decision before purchasing a Pokemon Distribution in the future. If it’s a standalone devcart please think twice before purchasing it, hopefully meaning theirs less chance of a replica getting passed off as the genuine thing on Ebay. Approximately 5 or less sealed units of each GBA event should theoretically exist, other than clearly not accounting for as many that have been sold over the years, no one with the original unit in their right mind would destroy the seal to dump the rom when there are ways to do it via the link port if they did some research. In addition anyone wants to develop homebrew for the GBA and has an official GBA development card can now make use of it and easily write their own homebrew to it, just as developers did all those years ago.     So I wanted to provide a general overview of how Nintendo/GF originally created the savefile that was used on these FireRed carts. It's been said in the past that they filled a completed FireRed savefile with 426 Mews, and then copied the save to hundreds of retail carts to send to Toys R Us stores across the country to use for the distribution. This is true, but what hasn't been said publicly is how the Mews themselves were generated. I decided to share this visual that I had made about a year ago, which helped me better visualize what we had learned from the data about the generation process. Basically what they had was a very similar version of the pokemon distribution software/rom that we all know from 10ANNIV, etc. This software however completely filled the party with Mews, rather than just generating one at a time. (This is likely similar to what we saw with the Shroomish/Barboach test distributions in the German Debug Ruby rom.) They started with only one pokemon remaining in the party (possibly the over-leveled Blastoise seen in the Hall of Fame), then ran the distribution software which generated their first group of 5 Mews. The "Blastoise" was then released, and the first 4 Mews were placed vertically, top to bottom on the bottom right side, in Box 14. The distribution software was ran again, then the next group of 5 Mews were moved to the PC in the same order, with the 5th Mew on top of the previous column. This process was repeated many times until every single PC box was full. working backwards from Box 14 to Box 1. When the final group of 5 were generated, the 3rd Mew from that group was move to Box Slot 1,1 to fill the last hole in the PC. The 5th Mew from the first group generated remained in the party the entire time. And while trivial, for whatever reason, the first two Mews from the third-to-last group were shifted upwards two slots in Box 1, with the 5th Mew from the second-to-last group placed in the middle of the column rather than at the top. The distribution software was ran one final time to generate a Mew to fill the last empty slot in the party. Since this last Mew was generated by itself, there's no relative data to reference, therefore impossible for us to recreate it. The other 5 party Mews were able to be recreated based off data from the Mews generated in their same group of 5. Though what wasn't possible until a few days ago was recreating them to also include their trashbytes. While trivial, trashbytes are important for legality and preservation purposes. That's why the 5 recreated party Mews weren't public until now. Thanks a bunch to @ajxpk for successfully cracking this case. Every time we think we've gotten as far as we ever will regarding Mystery Mew, somehow we get lucky and gain another step forward. Who knows if Mystery Mew #426 will ever surface... It's possible someone who attended the original distribution in 2006 still owns a cartridge with Mew #426, but it's unlikely they'll ever know they have the most important Mew from this event.

    In my current mindset, I (or anyone else) can say and feel like I could play for my entire life. However, realistically speaking if I am alive by then: assuming I don't develop memory loss or any other critical illness, have dropped interest in the series due to more crucial things developed in my life or the future staff not having done something dreadful to the series in general at that time (this part seems plausible ngl), I hope so. Maybe I'd look back on old games for nostalgia. I'd hope to get my possible future (grand)kids into it but I'm pretty doubtful about that, it's not like I could enforce them to live out my hobbies, but if they do I'd be proud, but again, with what the future generation of kids are looking like, I honestly don't hold a lot of hope in this. I as a long time fan have had a really great time with the series and don't regret picking a GBC up and still playing the games up to this point despite many of my old school friends have long given up since DP on the series. tl;dr Time will tell for me how long I'll be committed let alone be alive for. Same applies for anyone else (yes even someone like Serebii's or Pokejungle's webmasters).

    These are Pokemon FireRed savefiles which contain a compilation of legit event Pokemon for the Generation 3 games (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen). These savefiles have been in development by several ProjectPokemon members since April 2016, but has been hosted exclusively on another website. As of now, these savefiles will be concurrently hosted on ProjectPokemon as well. The Genaration III Pokemon games had a ton of events, many of which are extremely hard to obtain today. The Gen III games predate any sort of internet trading, and the event Pokemon from this generation have often been migrated up to newer Pokemon games. These factors make it quite hard to find legitimate event Pokemon for Gen III. The only way we can expect to obtain more event Pokemon for Gen III is if others share their save/pk3 files, so please consider sharing if you happen to have some!     Hello, I've been redirected here by the guys from CEAL. I used to play Pokemon on my old gameboy and I got to participate in the Spanish Pokemon Championship in the summer of 2000 in Madrid (in the Amusement Park). I think those events where held worldwide that summer because I remember the final took place in Australia. During the championship we were allowed to get a Mew from Nintendo, the only way to get one without the using glitches or exploits. Back then I also owned a Bungy Gameboy Xchanger so I was able to download the savefile before the battery went dead. As a result I've got a savefile with a L5 Mew with Id number is 01495 and trainer name EUROPE. If you guys are interested I could gladly send you the file, this is a direct dump from my Spanish Pokemon Yellow, 100% legit and haven't been transferred to any other game (I played crystal in japanese so I couldn't send it over). Those days I also got a save file on an Australian msg board with an Australian Mew. I uploaded the save file to my pokemon red and used it play. This Mew is most likely legit but i put moves on it and raised it to level 100. Id number is 20824 and OT is NAL (I'm assuming it stands for Nintendo of Australia maybe?). If you guys are interested in any of the Mews I'd be happy to send them over. I kept the save files just in case and I hope it could serve some purpose. I even read that it was possible to use a 3DS with a custom firmware and upload the old save files into the 3DS and then transfer to Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Home!     I just want to thank everyone involved in this project. Is always amazing to find, recover and preserve events that we thought lost, but this is something special. From finding this hardware we've learned tons about the mechanics of the distribution machine itself and the code making possible to recreate even more events/campaigns. I hope that with this kind of discoveries and videos makes people know and get even more interest in this world. Some of us thought this would never be possible, now I think that everything can be. Probably we'll find the Mew/Celebi Machine too! Thanks to the owner of the device for letting us preserve the information about this. My aim is to forge a full game using scrapped concepts to show what could have become the second generation of Pokémon. Of course, this project is still in developement, but an introducing demo will be released very soon! Shiny Bulbasaur that was hatched, yet has Cherish Ball, and has fateful encounter flag. Lol Shiny Original Cap Pikachu caught in HeartGold? lolol Shiny Mew not from Emerald? LOLOLOL Yup, almost everything is illegal. Whoever thought it was a good idea to hack these in: Nope, they're not "secret events". Just plain illegal. Nothing to do with the (falsely) claimed The illegality of these mons are so outrageous that they're practically plain as day to see. There are some real events sprinkled throughout, but all in all, these files are just horrible. Too much illegals. User claiming they're legal. Hiding the post cause user is misrepresenting what they are. (I'll be leaving the quoting of the post intact, but removing the upload) I can't even imagine that I'm going to thank you for this (cause I typically get mentally turned off at wall of texts without line breaks nor proper grammar usage), but thanks @Delta Blast Burn for bringing such an egregious post to my attention. Based on the content of said user, the user is also on my watchlist now. And lastly: You're such a joke. You clearly don't understand the meaning of legal (Or maybe you're a troll, which in that case, well done, now shoo). Why don't you understand what legal means, before you try to create mons, huh? Edit: Clarification for clarification's sake. I don't see the merit in critique with no constructive feedback. Getting horrible hacks to pass through online services is not the definition of legal (appears to be the basis of the misinformed point you were trying to make). Legal typically refers to a mon that is indistinguishable from stuff you can obtain in-game (or via events) without abnormal gameplay. (Stuff like glitches or ACE constitute abnormal gameplay) For example, your Original Cap Pikachu from HeartGold? Totally not legal. Pikachu variant in the form of the Original Cap Pikachu does not exist in HeartGold. And that variant will not exist until distributed in Gen 7. Not to mention, as of writing, all of the cap variants (besides Partner Cap) were distributed as shiny locked. So if we compare your mon to one that was legally available, yours fail the mark miserably. Hence illegal. PKHeX is working as intended. Keep in mind the real definition of legal when you decide to craft mons. Check various databases (online sites like Serebii, Bulbapedia etc) to see if the mon you wanna make ever legally existed to begin with.     On November 15th 1997 a playable demo of Pokémon Gold and Silver debuted at Space World '97. This demo was never to be seen again until today. On May 31st 2018 an anonymous person dumped a ROM of the elusive demos, twenty years and six months since it was last playable by the public. Pokemon Gold and Silver we're originally supposed to be released in 1998, however didn't arrive until November 21 1999 in Japan. With that in mind the final versions of Pokemon Gold and Silver is two years more developed then the Space World 97 Demos, making this an extraordinary find, even more so that it's made it's way to the public. Their is a Google Spreadsheet with Info on a WIP translation from people who've had this for a while it seems. I can't post that though as it also links to the rom. On the debug roms you can press select at the title screen to view the main debug menu. Pressing Down + B + A at the title screen will allow you to adjust the time.

    Hello: This is a save game I have after I participated in the Spanish 2000s Pokemon Championship in July 2000. The save has 2 Mews: the original L5 Mew I received from the Nintendo staff during the tournament (It's been almost 20 years but I think i traded through N64 Pokemon Stadium) and a second Mew from Australia. I got a save game in a Australian Pokemon forum back then, uploaded it to my friend's Pokemon Red and traded it to my own game. I used the Australian Mew to play the game so it's at level 100, EV trained and has custom moves. I wished I had kept it in pristine condition but it was my favorite pokemon back then. The Spanish Mew was legitimately traded but you'd have to take my word on that, they didn't give us any certificate. The save game is for the Spanish version of Pokemon Yellow, it won't work on the English version. Regards, Pokemye.sav

    This is a legit Norway Mew for GEN 1 Pokemon games, distributed by Club Nintendo. TID: 10595 OT: NORWAY The Club Nintendo Mew distribution ran in Norway from October 15th 2000, to November 20th 2000 and required you to be a Club Nintendo member to receive a Mew. Club Nintendo members could post their game cartridge to Club Nintendo, Nedre Rommen 5, 0988 OSLO. Once the cartridge was received by Nintendo a Mew would be distributed to it, before the game cartridge was posted back. This Mew was obtained by Digiex Member Golden Toilette back when he was 9 years old. So do send a big thanks his way for preserving this Mew 19 years later.     Wow! I would love to get a copy! This is super important! We had a lot of hypotheses about how it worked based on testimony from people who have gotten the event. I have determined part of the algorithm based on actual Pokemon from the event. But there are lots of unknowns that we would love to figure out by reading the code. I've been looking for this disc for 12 years!

    Thanks to all the collected cartridges we learned of many things and determined the exact position of all the Mews and even more details about how they were generated and with this one we also learned about a new initial Seed which has lead us to the Seeds of a couple of more Mews. The Mews that were placed in the Team. I was thinking about reconstructing the missing Mews as we might never get a chance to get them otherwise, but the problem is we never understood about these Trash Bytes and what kind of data they originated from. I'm happy to announce that after a long time I was able to solve the puzzle and with this I was finally able to fully reconstruct the Mews.     BIG UPDATE All of the 426 Mews are finally together and even the mysteries about their placements are solved thanks to @Sabresite's newest findings. A completely new Set of 5 Mews was discovered with the initial seed 0x5E2B. In fact it appears Mew #1, #2, #4 and #5 of the Seed 0x6065 (which I reconstructed earlier and we believed them to be in the Party) were deleted in order to generate the new Set. This leaves number #3 of Seed 0x6065 (to be found in Box 1, Slot 1) the only Mew of its Set that was actually traded/distributed, so from now on the rest of the Set will be moved to the category of "Unreleased Events". This was confirmed by Sabresite based on some old collected data and while all 5 Mews of the new 0x5E2B set were traded, 4 of the 5 0x6065 Mews weren't, so they were not on the save file when it was ready for the Distribution. The most confusing part to me is "WHY?" but then I came to the conclusion that it must have been because of how the software works. It was edited with minimal effort and otherwise works much the same as the newer Multi Boot software we know. Before the generation it checks how many Pokémon are in hand and if it's greater than 5 it returns false without generating anything with the respective error code. For Mystery Mew they changed it to greater than 1 and in addition they returned from the modified GenerateMew Subroutine (Mystery Mew is basically Hadou Mew btw...) with the loop inside and after the return they add 5 instead of 1 to the Team Slot. When I reconstructed Mystery Mew for the research I was thinking too complicated first and wanted to do it in a way that is smart, convenient and works smooth and dynamically, but from what I see now having analyzed different revisions and code from NOA they like keep it simple. Where the loop starts and where it ends was a big question to me as it could have been in or outside of the main function, but it is definitely within the function. The srand function is in it and this would result in a reseed everytime you call it, so it is very clear that the loop starts after the srand() call and it ends with a recalculation for the Team Slot and i+1 which is checked against the number 5 to end the loop. The most important thing however is the static number 5 being added to the Pokémon Team Count after the return and this can only mean that the check before the generation was changed too, they just swapped the numbers. Obviously the software was planned to generate no less than 5 Mews and this means that they were forced to sacrifice 4 Mews to finally fill all of the 6 Party Slots. Huge thanks to Sabresite for resolving this. The case was already closed to me, so I'm really happy that he gave it another shot.

    Hi everyone! Suloku got in contact with me when I talked about the Celebi Tour. Aside from the FRANCO/JENS/NICO Celebi that was given with the machines in the buses of the Celebi Tour, I qualified and took part in the tournament that was held, and they gave to each of the contestants a Spanish Pokemon Silver cartridge with 20 Celebis inside it, with OT CTOUR, along with this letter (I'll see if I can do some HQ scans instead of some shitty photos XD): We were supposed to give them all to other players in exchange for the specified Pokémon in the letter and send the cart back to Nintendo Europe in a limited amount of time, and if we did it correctly, they would send us a copy of Pokémon Crystal for free (that's how I got my Crystal copy). I stored 3 of those Celebi for my 3 games (Gold, Silver and Crystal), and unfortunately Gold and Silver died a while ago because of the batteries, but I was able to backup the Crystal save. It was originally at level 5, so it being level 60 is because I was playing with it in-game for a while, but it's better than nothing. So, here you are, the CTOUR Celebi! If you want to insert it in a save file, you'll have to use Pikasav and load it in a free space in a PC box, for some reason it doesn't let me put it directly in the team. Celebi CTOUR.pkm

    This application converts the dumped Pokemon from the Space World 98 Demo to a .pk2 format in order for the Pokemon to be opened and injected into a Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver save file.     Ok so this is what I got now: 0x21D08 is current wins - single subway 0x21D1A is record wins - single subway 0x21D0A is current wins - double subway 0x21D1C is record wins - double subway 0x21D0C is current wins - multi subway with npc 0x21D1E is record wins - multi subway with npc I didn't test but I suspect that 0x21D0E and 0x21D20 are for multi subway with friends and last 0x21D12 is current wins - super single subway 0x21D24 is record wins - super single subway didn't test the others in super yet (i might do it now and come back with the exact offsets) I suspect that 0x21D2C could be a flag that sets either if you are still in a challenge or not (since it changes from 00 to 01 as far as I saw) either way, i saw that if you change the values here, they don't change the flag of super subways, i might have to check the events offset and compare it to my clean save (no subway battles)
