So theres a Trainer appearance editor in the PKHEX app that allows you to change your characters clothing. So changing the hair shirt pants etc. all works fine. but why is there various options to change makeup? when i change these settings in any way my character just defaults to her beginning get up?. even though she had a blue shirt shorts and the like before hand. theres a freckles option that can be changed*? and it doesn't screw with my characters look, (does the default female character have freckles?) however her face icon on the save file looks a bit screwy. But any other options mascara, lipstick etc. all reverts my character to her default clothing. am i missing something here? is there certain numbers that correspond with particular lipstick colors? like 2 4 6, instead of 1 2 3 er whatever?. theres no dropdown list of options its just an editable number. not sure how that works exactly can anyone fill me in on this?

Hi, I am new to project Pokémon and a little disappointed I hadn't stumbled upon this site prior as I have been a fan since the beginning. Well long story short I lost my save after beating the story mode on Pokémon shield. without any back ups I am forced to start a new game. I would like to not worry about getting banned so if this is a possibility with a VERY Vanilla Switch please tell me now. Otherwise, I would love to be able to start my new journey with all 3 of the starter Pokémon.

I've been playing "perfect" legal games starting with a few aids like trades and "broken" punches, but they get back to normal. I recently finished Pokémon White and I dedicated myself to completing the pokedex, having all the legendary events, through the change of DNS and also by pkhex. The icing on the cake has always been that I left the tariner card at its highest level and here I wanted to do it. I completed the pokedex legally, took all 100 battles between the subway super battle levels, I admit I used cheats for musical props and a little help with the tree nexus. however my card is still gold when it should be white in this version case. Hello, first time here on the forums and I'm looking to see if anyone can help me see if a Shiny Celebi I got traded is even legit, or at least legal. not nicknamed Level 30 Virtual Console mark Moves (w/ proper PP) - Heal Bell, Safeguard, Ancient Power & Future Sight 5IV (only Decent attack) no EVs OT: Velma (31121) Obtained through VC Coin Case glitch What bothers me is that I know that the ID is from a Japanese Celebi event. So if anyone can explain why this is the case, and if Shiny Celebi is legit/legal or not, I would much appreciate it!

Hi, so, I was stuck in the Elite Four after loading my save because I backed up my save in the wrong place so I edited my coordinates so I'd end up in Rustboro (image attatched). When I went to play, though, all I was met with was a black screen, or a "hang". I also stupidly did not have another backup for this save file, so I'm scared my save's been pretty much bricked. Any advice, or even someone fixing the attached file would be extremely appreciated, I've had this file for around four years and I wouldn't know what to do with myself if my mistake ruined it. main

Is there a way to render items unusable in trainer battles for Black/White 2? If so, how is this done? Edit: To clarify, I am referring to items stored in the bag such as potions, not held items.

Last week I bought Pokemon Diamond, because I wanted to transfer over my old save file onto it. But my save file of Pokemon Diamond is 8 mb. I do not know how this happend, but now I can't use checkpoint to transfer over my save file. Is it possible to fix my save file in some way, because i dont know how to fix it. When I use latest version of PKHeX. I cannot open my Pokemon Diamond save file because I get the error "invalid or corrupted gc memory card". Every other save file works perfectly on PKHEx but not my pokemon diamond save file. My Pokemon DIamond save file works perfectly when I use it, Can someone explain why this happens?

Hello again! Ok so I've been working on a Pokemon SoulSilver Romhack and I've now reached the scripting stage. In a small amount of time I figured out how to change the game corner prizes and gift pokémon through SDSME. Feeling motivated with my progress I tried moving onto more complex things. I wanted to make the spiky eared pichu event avaliable without the need of action replay. However then I realised that you need a mystery gift shiny pichu to trigger the aforementioned event. Apparently the game will trigger the event if the shiny pichu in your party has the description 'met through a fateful encounter'. With my very limited knowledge I went through every script function for Ilex Forest trying to figure out what I had to do to trigger the spiky eared pichu event using a normal shiny pichu. However with my limited knowledge I don't really know what I'm supposed to change and the number of functions in the Ilex Forest map are overwhelming. I'm guessing there is a 'checkflag' line somewhere that if I remove should produce the desired effect. If I figured out how to do this then I could also trigger other events that normally require event pokémon such as the giovanni and sinjoh ruins events. If anyone knows how to help then please reply, it would be a big help! TLDR: does anyone know which flag checks for the fateful encounter description on a Pokémon? Or does anyone just have a list of flags that the game uses? -

Hi everyone I've been working on a little Soul Silver ROM hack for a while now and I'm pretty close to releasing the first version. One thing I've been having lots of trouble with however is editing in-game trades. I found a really obscure tool that helped me out with this however it only works on unedited roms. I tried editing a clean rom using this tool and it worked out pretty well, but when I tried extracting narc file A112 (the in-game trade file) and inserting it into my already edited ROM, nothing changed. I then tried doing it the opposite way by adding all the other narc files that I needed from my edited ROM into the ROM where I had successfully edited the in game trades but when I went to playtest, the in game trades had returned to the base game trades. I'm guessing I somehow have the wrong narc file or I just messed up somewhere but I've tried multiple times doing things this way and it never works properly. Could someone please help me out? If I'm using the wrong narc file and I found the real one I'd be sorted. Alternatively if you know the numbers of the in game trade scripts in SDSME then I could probably edit them from there (although I haven't gotten very far into script editing yet so it'll take me a while to learn that properly). Ideally there would be some sort of tool I missed that would let me just quickly edit the trades but as far I can tell there aren't any finished tools that can do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hello everyone ! I've been trying to find a specific texture in the NARC for BW2. The texture I'm looking for is the bottom bar that displays the current season when you arrive to a different location. I've been trying to find it to have the season displayed in another language but I can't find that texture in the files. Could somebody help me and tell me where that texture is ? Thanks in advance !

Cutting right to the chase, it seems whenever you enable regular (non important) trainers to do a Double Battle, one of the following 2 things will occur; A: If you talk to the trainer and start the battle, they will have no text and there will be a blank textbox, but apart from that it's fine. B: If they engage the encounter, the game freeze's in place, which is a softlock. I've heard multiple reasons why this occurs, but I want to know exactly what causes this so I can figure out a way to fix it. Also I'm assuming actually fixing this issue will most likely require a hex editing tool or something else complicated, so any tool recommendations? I'm absolute trubbish at hex code but I'll try my best (and also apologies if this topic is formatted incorrectly, this is the first time I've made one for this site). I don't think it matters, but the Emulator that I'm using for my Rom Hack is DeSmuME. Latest Version. And to clarify, the Rom is a USA Pokemon Black rom. -
I can’t figure out how to use the trainer editor on PK3DS on ultra moon. Can somebody help me? I can’t change the Pokémon people have. In the picture it shows a mime junior but I can’t change it.

Hay I need help badly, I've asked on discord but when I look it up on google (like some people have said to do) there are no helpful results... all I'm asking is for help with some competitive move sets for my Pokémon in gen 3, in this case emerald/colo. I need help with three move sets for Salamance for two event eggmoves and one for a normal in game eggmove, ill list them below. Moves: * iron defense * wish * hydro pump some of the most reliable sites were of no help when it came to move sets for these moves. even looking up "competitive (insert listed move here) salamance" resulted in no help at all just info for move sets for gens that are not gen 3 but had the moves in them. (granted smogon did have one for wish but not the set I thought was helpful sents I don't really use moves like protect that much) I really need help with these move sets for gen 3, if anybody can help plz respond im about to give up looking for these sets and just focus on other Pokémon….

Hey guys Im new here Ive just started a new adventure on a Omega Ruby Randomized Nuzlocke I edited myself. I just randomized trainers pokemon, wild pokemon and gift pokemon. The thing is I allowed Mega Evos to show up in the wild and for my surprise I catched a Mega Altaria lvl 5. After a few hours of playing Mega Altaria went back to its original form of Altaria and I dont know the reason nor the way to fix it. The whole point was that the Mega Forms you catch were always gona be Megas.. Let me know if someone happens to encounter the same issue or someone knows how to fix it. I would really appreciate. Thanks in advance.

So i went out and bought a 3ds, omega ruby, ultra moon and ultra sun, thinking i could get some of the pokemon i wanted. But then i find put alot of them where limited time event pokemon giveaways. I was going to do the CFW and try to get the mons i want that way, but i only have 1 3ds so i wpuldnt be able to trade them over. I was hoping someone would eother help me out and give me any dupicate mons you have, or cpuld make me some legal mons, or help me with the whole process of cfw, pkhex and how to give to myself. hay replaying emerald for the umpteenth time and need some help with a team to basically one shot or help het past all floors in emeralds Trainer Hall. Hi guys, I downloaded PKHEX on my windows laptop and I just added some TMs, items, and berries in my bag on that save. I also made Froakie a shiny with max IVs and 252 EV on SpAtk and Speed and 4 Atk. Then, I uploaded the PKHEX save file I made to my Google Drive and then downloaded here on Mac since this is where I use Citra as I cannot use it on my Windows due to my graphics card. and PKHEX only works on windows.
