Hello, I am currently working on a rom hack for pokemon black. One of the things I need to do is change the starter pokemon. I have searched this site and the internet for tools or hex editing tutorials to do this, to no avail. I do not care if it still says "snivy," "tepig," and "oshawott" in the selection screen. What I want to happen is if you pick the grass choice, you get chikorita, fire gives you cyndaquil, and water gives you totodile. Additionally, I want to make it so the dreamyard monkeys get replaced by the gen 1 starter of their respective types. Could anyone give me a rundown on how to do this?

Pokémon Fuse White 2 based on Pokémon Volt White 2 made by Drayano. Main features : - 649 fusions (some with alternate forms like castform, sawsbuck, arceus, ...) - Available in English OR in French - Every Pokemon (from bulbazaur to calyrex) is fused at least once. This includes alternate forms like alolan, galarian, ... - Every type combination (mono type included) is represented by at least one fusion in its last evolution stage - There are some fusion with mega pokemon - Some easter eggs (with the fusion's name or their look) - Drayano's changes to overworld legendaries, TMs, ... This version is meant to be randomized since I don't have edited Fusion moveset and trainer teams yet. Everything is explained in the readme.txt. Make sure you read it Credits - MikuGoya, Likouns, Victistar, Tracker, EcranPlasma, Friskette, Laxofirm, Nékrami, Anthomrtrx, Brahim, Dronia, Mxt dog, Mega tree ho-oh. Special thanks to all these spriters All their work represent around 50% of the Fusiondex - Drayano That made a huge work with pokemon Volt white 2 - All the smogon.com spriters that made 5th gen style sprite for 6th gen pokemon and above (LeParagon, King of the x road, N-Kin, G.E.Z, Blaquaza, Princessofmusic, TheAetherPlayer, ...)- 4 comments

I had this idea to get to level 100 by only using the Big and Small Court in Pokemon White So first I started with a level 1 joltik from Black2 for the Traded Exp bonus, then I gave it the Exp Share and started. Now if you wanted to try this your self you need... -Exp Share -Lucky egg -Strong pokemon (at least Lv 65) -Any pokemon to level up After you have all of those, you just have to battle all the trainers in the Big and Small court everyday Here is the results, this will vary depending on what pokemon you pick And here is the final results

I'm replaying through Black and my city is empty. I really don't want to play all the way through White just to get some NPCs. Is there any way to edit the save to have the maximum amount of NPCs?

I've been tracking down offsets for trainer records in B2W2 for a while, figured I might as well share them here in case there was any interest in making it editable or if they're curious or whatever. I'm calling them "trainer records" because they're things the game keeps track of and I'm not sure what else to call them. Also full disclosure, I've been using BWTool to dump the specific Trainer Records save block, I don't know shit about encrypting/decrypting anything, so full credit to suloku for making this possible at all. The offsets listed in Trainer Records assume the block is the only thing you're looking at, rather than the full save, and that it's been decrypted. These are all the ones I was able to figure out that don't seem to have documentation already. Number of passers-by encountered: 0x21120 (actually stored in the Trainer Data/Bag/Sayings block, this is the only one like this that I've found) Times fished: 0x20 -- 0x21 (Stored in Trainer Records) White Treehollow/Black Tower Battles: 0xC4-C5 (Trainer Records) Join Avenue Shops Created: 0x018E --0x018F (Trainer Records) Souvenirs received: 0x0192 -- 0x0193 (Trainer Records) People guided: 0x018C -- 0x018D (Trainer Records) Times challenged battle subway -- 0x0C0 -- 0x0C1 (Trainer Records) Pokemon evolved: 0x28 -- 0x29 (Trainer Records) Balloon Minigame Points: 0x1E0 -- 0x1E1 (Trainer Records) Times played balloon minigames: 0x190 -- 0x191 (Trainer Records) Pass Powers Times Used 0xB4 -- 0xB5 (Trainer Records) Hope I've formatted this correctly. Presumably these are all signed, though I'm not really tech savvy enough to call that for sure and am going off the knowledge that offsets of this nature in this game were also signed.

I plan to hack my 3s within the next month or so. One of my favorite event pokemon in the Red Genesect, but there was never an american distibution for it. What will happen if I use the japanese wonder card to try and add it to an american game through PKHeX? For that matter, what about the Bolt Strike/Blue Flare Victini or the V-Create Rayquaza? Sorry if this is a super obvious question, I genuinely have no idea how this stuff works lmao

Bags are always filled with 750 of all items. I used Suloku's BW Tool, to Memory Link these files with Hilbert's Pokémon White Postgame File, but Memory Link did not seem to work... All Keys have been unlocked though! Pokémon White 2: Save 1: Beginning: Ready for a new Pokémon White adventure! (Starter not chosen, PC Box empty, Pokédex full). Save 2: PC Box: The earliest Point in the game, in which Nate can access the Pokémon Center's PC Box. (All saves from here on: All 649 Pokémon are available and legal, with a few shinies.) Save 3: Kyurem-Cannon: Team Plasma requires the DNA-Splicers, which are in the possession of Drayden and therefore Team Plasma freezes Opelucid City! (Nature Preserve accessible already!) Save 4: Final Battle: Nate is about to witness the final showdown. The Battle of Truth and Ideals has arrived! Save 5: Champion!: Nate has become the Champion of the Unova region! The PWT is ready to live up to its' name, Colress awaits at Route 18, A Zoroark awaits Nate on Victory Road, a girl appears to have lost her Xtransceiver in Nimbasa City's amusement park and a few towns are left to be seen within Unova. Save 6: Postgame: Yancy has been called and will return a call upon another defeat of the elite four. (In this save file, Yancy's number can pop up on your Xtranceiver upon visiting: Route 7, Mistralton City, Route 6, Driftveil City, Route 5, Nimbasa City, Route 16, Lentimas Town, Undella Town, Lacunessa Town). All the Pokémon World Tournaments have been unlocked! Including the Pokémon Champions Tournament! Also, all teams from the past are back! Battle in these tournaments using the teams of the champions! The Pokemon Generator code doesn't work for making eggs and it always gives a ? with "FNT" written. Is there a different software needed to create Drastic Codes? I really need a Scraggy Egg. Infact no code has ever properly worked for generating Pokemon from PokeGen

I'm currently trying to improve the shiny charm in pokemon white 2. Why do I try to do that rather than edit the overall shiny odd ? It's because in pokemon volt white 2 drayano made some cleanup in the game files and it's impossible to reinsert arm9.bin back to the game once it's edited. Following what @Andibad and @Bond697 said in the topics above, I tried to find a way to edit shiny charm but i'm stuck. I don't know what value I should edit since it's a key item. Does it work the same as berries ?

All of these save files have a 100% Pokedex and a Completed Story. All events were Injected from PKHeX and PKSM. All the credits go to projectpokemon.org and ProjectPokemon’s Event Gallery. This wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t for them. Special thanks to theSLAYER, Sabresite, Kaphotics, jasenyoface, The Flagbrew Team, ProjectPokemon, and the Project Pokemon Event Gallery. READ: NOT ALL POKEMON IN THIS SAVE FILE ARE LEGAL, ALL OF THE GENERATION 1 EVENTS ARE NOT LEGAL, SHINYLOCKED AND UNRELEASED POKEMON ARE NOT LEGAL. KEEP IN MIND OF THAT. -

As I've no access to a 3DS currently, (otherwise I'd love to figure out the process here), I'm hoping some kind soul with a bit of extra time (and a 3DS with homebrew?) might be able to help! What I *do* have access to is a Mac with pkhex, a DSi XL and an R4 card with pkmnchest, so if I were to receive a new gen5 save file, or simply a pk5 file, I should be able to take it from there! I've only got 2 shiny pkmn in my Crystal sav file (attached, via emulation and extraction from R4 card) and I hunted them for quite a long time, so the emotional attachment is silly but real. They are Quilava and Smoochum, aptly named "Starshine" and "Sugababe," respectively... I believe the next step would be to inject the sav into a virtual console rom, then utilize the poketransfer app(?), Pokemon bank(?), OR a homebrew app (of which I'm blanking on the name) to transfer / convert for compatibility into a gen5 save file or pk5 file. MOST IMPORTANTLY I'm looking for the most direct and legitimate route that wouldn't involve manually adjusting any of their stats, and instead being able to see what natures, abilities, IVs etc come out on the other end. Thus, why I'm not really interested in manipulating them in any fashion via pkhex or other apps. Massive love to anyone willing to help! Hello! Apologies in advance if this is a very simple question or if it's posted in the wrong place. I just signed up today to try to learn how to edit NDS saves. I think I understand how it works for the most part, but again I'm new to all of this. I know you can edit CGear skins in pokemon gen 5 with PKhex, and I found how to do that [here]. I also want to change the skin on my pokedex. Trying to find how to edit a different pokedex skin, [here], it says I can only do that with an apparently Japanese program. I can't read Japanese. Is there another way to do this?

Does anyone know of an Emulator that supports the Relocator? If not, does using PKHex to move event Celebi and Crown beasts to B/W/HG/SS register as sent through the Relocator? Pal Park same questions.

Hello all. I just recently went through a 2009 Wayback Machine web.archive.org copy of Emtu's PKMDB and PokeSav's. I did not find any PKM files from the PKMDB. I do want to note that I had a hard time deciphering the urls, so they are unsorted. From what I was able to read they were sorted by legality/legitimacy. I was not able to save all of them... &:-{ I would appreciate it if somebody checked and sorted all of these, along with maybe adding the zip to @ReignOfComputer's PC/Event Gallery. I will attach it here. Of note is that I left the original zip files untouched. I can say there is some real goodies in here, like the Nintendo Power NPOWER Pikachu, 2 sets of Shiny starters, Shiny Regigigas, Ho-oh, and Suicune, and more, so please check this. Also in the zip are 2 zip files that have genuine legends. Also, some pokemon may be events, despite the filename, as they were compiled together in keeping with their original filenames. I advise you to check these, as some may be hacked, due to being this old, and due to any disclaimers being dead and unreadable. While you are at it, please extract the German Legit CHANNEL Jirachi from this RubyDe.sav file's party so we can give the German players a CHANNEL Jirachi. The save file has not been touched since April 7, 2004. Please add that Jirachi to the event gallery, @Sabresite, or @theSLAYER. I will sign off with this: Please enjoy my newest contributions, and let me know what you think. I do spend a lot of my time digging through google and Archive.org/Geocities archives looking for Pokemon data, which I am glad to share. Since I spend time doing this, I would like your opinion on me, so I can better serve you with old Pokemon Files. Sometimes, like today's batch, only certain files were archived before the site's death, so sometimes all there is to dump off archive.org that I give might seem pitiful, but it is a treasure just to even find these, even though the GEN3 events in it are ALL Pal-parked, and therefore useless for trashbyte dumping. I wish they weren't, but I have no control over that, so please acknowledge in some way that I do contribute, even if the contributions may not measure up to fresh dumps. I do have the Manaphy Egg wondercard in BOTH formats, which also applies to the NPOWER-USA Pikachu. There is Poketopia FR pokemon in there, along with a mew, and an Aura mew in what I think is french. So I have found good stuff, but it is in need of checking by Admins. Sincerely, St. GIGA PokeSavDB & Emtu's PKM DB WaybackMachine-archived pokemon.zip RubyDe.sav
