Ok im here to write a quick Tutorial for those of you that have the new Action Replay DSI can now edit Pokemon events items etc from pokesav by loading your games sav file! Does not require.NET Framework 3.5 has been tested Under 3.5 .NET FrameWorks i apologize for any confusion Step 1: backup your sav file using action replay dsi and copy it to your computer Step 2: download this sav file converter http://projectpokemon.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3917&d=1269701955 Step 3: Drag your .duc sav file onto ARDStoSAV.exe Step 4:Load your .sav file that was created from the converter into Pokesav. Note: the created sav file will be located in C: \ the main hard drive that your computer uses! Step 5: after saving changes in Pokesav drag the edited .sav onto ARDStoSAV.exe and then just put the .duc file back onto your action replay and restore the save file and enjoy [Edit by evandixon] To clear a bit of confusion, this will NOT back up saves for HeartGold/SoulSilver/Black/White. Alright. I bought the Action Replay DSi and backed up my Pokemon Platinum save. It has the extension ".duc". This apparently isn't usable in the Platinum Pokesav. So I went to the Shuny site (Save Converter site) and tried converting it to a few save files... they were opened up, but everything was completely wrong on the PokeSav application. No Pokemon, random play times, no inventory, no pokemon in my PC box, etc. It was just random mixed up stuff. Could someone please help me figure out what I should do so I can use Pokesav? Thank you.

._. I have no idea whatsoever how to remove the .sav file from my current Pokemon Platinum Rom. I'm using the no$gba emulator. I have PokeSav, since cheats are crashing the game, and so I would like to know how to remove the .sav file from the rom, and then put it back it. .-. Any help is greatly appreciated, and you get some of this. --> :grog:

Hello, Pokemon Masters! I am Omerick200, famous pokemon trainer and hacker. I have made this thread for this reason: I would like to create a team of hackers and create a perfect save file. By this I mean: Game won, all 493 Pokemon, with lvl. 100 and max moves, along with some event Pokemon. I mean everything in the game complete, pokedex too. I want to do this mainly to create a TRU Arceus distribution cart, but I first need the Wonder Card. I went to TRU to get the event, and have a SAV file of Platinum with the Wonder Card on it. Is there a way I can extract it? Also, I was just wondering about the status of the whole db.pokesav.org site. I used to use it to get event Wonder Cards, but it appears that it is no longer being maintained. Is there an alternate site that is hosting events? Sorry for n00bish questions, but I'm not very experienced or knowledgeable about the SAV editing scene. All I've done so far is backup SAVs and create distro carts from Wonder Card files, and I haven't done that since the TRU Regigigas event.

Hi, I try yo use pokesav to import a pgt file on my platinum save but when i receive the the gift (the Korea battle series arcanaine) the name of the pokemon and the OT name only appear as a bunch o ?. Can anyone please help me. I try to use PDC-Safe but i was only able to load the pdc file on save, not the pgt file. Thanks in advance

I did not see this coming. I got an Action Replay DSi in the store, and loved the improvments. EVERYTHING about it was improved. I play with the Save backup/Restore feature, and they made the touch screen usable, and also removed the comment feature. For those of you who wish to convert save files from / to this, just know this: all the tools for the Action Replay Media Edition will work on this device. (Just make sure the save size is the proper size, for you people with flashcarts with 512KB saves for every game) The point of this thread is to state that tools are not required for the ARDSi DUC file.

Hi, I'm new to these forums. Can someone please help me convert my save file from 1024kb to 512kb? I have a Pokemon Platinum .sav file that that is 1024kb. I am trying to bring it down to 512kb so I can edit it with pokesav. I tried to convert it through http://shunyweb.info/convert.php but I get an error that the upload has failed.

I'm curious as is there any way to edit the pokemon on My Pokemon Ranch. You can copy the save to an SD card using Homebrew Channel and Savegame Manager.

ive decided that i should probably help out here some. for requests, i will accept anything with semi normal IVs, just post what pokemon, minimum IVs, nature, Ability you want, etc. I can do shiny pokemon too, just ask. These pokemon have the correct PID, ability class, and everything else, i will make them look exactly like legit pokemon unless requested otherwise. Note that i cannot actually trade these over WIFI as i do not have a ds with a working L Button. I can however PM the code to anyone who has an action replay. if this is the case, i will post it as a mystery gift Pokemon

I need the event Arceus pkm file and the pickachu coloured pichu pkm file. Cheers. EDIT: I solved everything, converted save, tweaked no$gba and now i'm playing heartgold on no$gba, which supports AR codes fully. Just did the arceus, celebi and pichu events... awesome...especially the arceus event, best event ever! -
I was playing around with the tweaking glitch in diamond [info on tweaking] and sure enough I corrupted my save file by doing so. I have reason to believe nothing more than my map coordinates are corrupt and that all of my pokemon are still in tact. This all happened a few months ago. Onto my pokesav issue... I recently bought an Action Replay DSi which comes with the ability to make backups of your game saves. I ripped my save from the Diamond cart and popped it into the computer to discover it was a .duc file. I then plugged the save into this converter to create a 512kb RAW .sav file, as was suggested in the pokesav FAQ. When I try to open the .sav file in pokesav, everything appears entirely corrupted. I got an error "invalid file" when I tried the same thing with PPSE, just to see if it would open there. As a sort of control experiment to test whether my save was really completely corrupted, I tried ripped, converted and tried opening my Platinum cart's save in the platinum version of pokesav. It still gave me a lot of corrupted information even though my Platinum save isn't corrupted in any way. When I converted the save, I tried autodetection [which gave a 512kb file], forcing 256kb and forcing 512kb. None of the three resulting files worked. I tried making a code to run directly on the Action replay, but I don't know when to activate via pressing L+R to set the coordinates. Trying to take off the button activator didn't work either [though I'm not experienced enough in code-making to know if I did that right or not] I can upload the .duc files of my diamond save to mediafire if it would help.

so recently i've been trying to make use of the legality checker, but i'm having some problems in doing so. when i get the file from my rom, it's as a .sav file which opens perfectly in pokesav. however to use the legality checker, the file needs a .pkm extension. how exactly do i go about "converting" it? i tried to save it as a .pkm file through pokesav directly, but .pkm isn't listed under the "save as" option. i downloaded framework, but truth be told i have no idea what i'm supposed to be doing with it.

I'm using Pokesav HGSS and when I try to open my HG save I get an error. I noticed my file is only 152KB. Is there a way to decompress it or something? Thanks.

Alright, so the title says it all. I am wondering how one brings a pokemon file from the gameboy to the computer to check if it is legit. We have access to the R4....just kind of lost on how to get the pokemon out of the game and onto the computer. Any help clarifying this will be greatly appreciated. -

Hey all. I've run Pokésav HGSS through AppLocale. The JAP characters show up, but I can't open the savefile. Whenever I try, it gives me an error. But when I run it through Pokésav HGSS w/o AppLocale, the save opens fine... Any suggestions? I know this issue has come up with some people before, but with the DPPt versions of Pokésav...
