I feel that because Project Pokemon is it's own community, we should have our own tier list for Pokemon. However, we need peoples help, by gathering your opinions. Testing will be active on Shoddy Battle on the Project Pokemon server. This is the current list I have generated:

Now I have been making my pokemon on pokesav, and it is super awesome. While I usually play on the DS, I also do alot of casual battles on Pokemon PBR. I a However last night, nintendo seems to have stregthened the legit checker. Before, my teams would work on PBR wifi as long as they were correct nature, place of where they were caught/bred/pal parked etc. But now any of my teams that I made using pokesav with AR are unable to go on PBR wifi! I suspect that its the PID value. I made the pokemon using pokesav version 0.39. Should I download the latest version of .40 and use the generate/PID button? Would that make my pokemon legal (and therefore pass the legit check) and be used on wifi? And if not, if did the total legal check process (with the downloadable PID-IV generator and legal checker etc.) would that work? Thanks for your time, and buy the way I use Diamond version.

If you randomly generate a Vespiquen in pokesav, there will be a 87.5% chance it will be illegal. Why? Vespiquen evolves from female Combee only. Since there is no way to obtain a legit Vespiquen in the wild, all Vespiquen's must have been female Combee's at one point. Since a pokemon's PID never changes, 87.5% of Combees can never become Vespiquen's. This means that even though Vespiquen is an all-female species, it must have a gender number that corresponds to a female Combee (roughly 12.5% chance). Same thing with Gallade's and Froslass'. All Gallade's come from male Ralts or Kirlia, and all Froslass' come from female Snorunt. If you randomly generate a PID for Froslass or Gallade, there's a 50% chance it will be invalid. As far as I'm aware of, the legit checker DOES NOT detect this. Pokemon whose entire evolutionary lines are gender-exclusive are not affected. Blissey can have any PID because Happiny and Chansey are also 100% female.

I've seen so many people with this problem, so I'm willing to help here. Anyways, when someone edits their Pokemon like, let's say, Ponyta, with Run Away. But most people don't want that ability. They want her other uberw00tpwnage awesome ability, Flash Fire. So they do that quick editing in Pokesav. Then Ponyta evolves... into a Rapidash. Then you're in battle and send her against a, I don't know, an Infernape. That Infernape uses Flamethrower... and you're expecting that boost, but it hits Rapidash instead! So you're like "what?" and check its ability. It's RUN AWAY! Now what just happened here? While you fixed the pony's ability, you haven't fixed its class (Class 1 or Class 2)! So Ponyta was Class 1 and you fixed its ability to Flash Fire, but you forgot to change it to Class 2. So once it evolves, it retains its property of being Class 1, and Class 1 Rapidash is Run Away. That's why it's important to change to Class 2 (use PID generator for this). So how do I know which Pokemon's ability is Class 1 or Class 2? Here's where the list comes in. Obviously, Pokemon with one Ability is not mentioned. This list is in Pokedex order (except evolved Pokes are grouped with their respective cousins). Have fun. FAQ Tell me if you find any errors. Hi Guys, Upon looking through my AR list, I noticed that the Wild Pokemon are Shiny cheat says "Do Not Breed!"? Does this only apply when using the code, or can I never breed said Pokémon? Also, does SCV's shiny encounter code have the same rules as above? If not, does anyone know how to make it work for the UK version of platinum? Thanks, Matt. Why can't this pokemon and other 4th gen pokemons join the online battle on pokemon battle revolution? Almost all my 3th, 2nd and 1st gen legendary's can join execpt mew celibi jirachi and deoxys. Mahbe thats because they are all event pokemon and these are tricky to make legit. But my azelf can't join a online battle on pokemon battle revolution. Why cant my azelf join? the legal checker says its all valid. Thanks, Shann

Hey there, I made some pokemon on pokesav. I want these pokemon to look like i palparked them from the GBA game to Pearl/Diamond, and then traded them to Platinum. I left all the hidden hex values 00 and met in Pal Park. (these hidden hex values need to 00 in this case right?) I also fixed the trashbytes. So my question is do these look legit? Hey guys, I know how to use platinum pokesav editor but I've been just wondering if there is already made save that has all pokemons on it? I do not want them to be lv 100 or watever. I just want them to be lv 1 or something. Or I dunno is there a way to upload all of them to your save file? Or is there a option is save editor to add all pokemons to your storage and so? Thanks~ EDIT: All also is there a pokedex that would show all that status for a pokemon at a certain lv? Cause I only see at lv 50, 100 and base lv and then im confused what status should I give to a certain lv so I does look normal!? Or all the other info like catch lv and such...

Hello there, I found the so-called "Shiny code" in the official code list. It seems that it forces the game to calculate a PID that results in a shiny Pokemon. Obviously, the code was made for a US copy of Pearl. Now, are there any operating system independent methods to port the code or even better, is anyone willing to port the code? I am running Linux and have no Windows available anywhere, wine/mono do a terrible job sometimes, especially in stuff like emulators. However, I do not need any possibility to get shiny wild pokemon, so that could maybe simplify the job a bit. If required, I can give an already-completed German Pearl savestate. EDIT: The code from the url stated in http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2111 does _not_ work. It simply crashes the game if I activate or deactivate it and encounter a Pokemon or hatch an egg. First time poster. So please be gentle. I've read the extensive documentation on various sites and this forum (as well as it's previous incarnation), about PID's. As I understand it, the actual IV value of a Pokemon hatched from an egg, do not match those indicated by the PID. Therefore that PID is generally meaningless (for lack of a better word) in as so far as IV values for hatch eggs dictate, and that the various legality checkers "overlook" these discrepancies in a hatched Pokemon. Having gathered all this... PID generation for eggs are done differently than Wild Pokemon. My primary question: is there a PID generator for eggs floating about? I assume that one simply cannot use any PID they like, when assigning a PID for hatched Pokemon. That is to say: there are legal and illegal PID's for them, correct? Someone advised me, that using a PID in the Pokesav chart for Normal NDS or GBA Pokemon (Type 1), and having those IV values match accordingly for the hatched Pokemon, would be sufficient. Is this true? Can the PID's for hatched Pokemon, match those of Wild Pokemon, and be 100% legal? Regardless if hatched or wild, certain aspects of the PID would always apply: sex and ability for example... so just picking any PID off a chart wouldn't do, if someone is going out of their way to make "perfect forgery" of a Pokemon, correct? tl;dr I wanna have my hatched Pokemon have a valid PID for hatched Pokemon. How do I go about doing that and making sure I'm doing it right (without doing it the legal way of course). I'm merely worried that certain PID's are just impossible for a hatched egg to have and want to avoid them.

Hey there everyone, Some of you might be new in to this, but there is a way how we can trade in GBA Pokemon Games over the Internet. It requires the use of R4 or DSTT or some other Flash Cards for DS that are able to play ROMs. You also need to have the GBA Backup Tool. The GBA Backup Tool is a HomeBrew ROM that can make ROMs of your REAL GBA Games that are in Slot 2 of your DS. So, yea, you need a DS for this as DSi doesn't support GBA games. It doesn't even have Slot 2 like a DS/Lite. With that same GBA Backup Tool you can get the SAV file of your GBA games. We can play our SAV file in a ROM such as Visualboy Advance, do a trade or cheat or just play, and then save the game and put it back in your real cartridge, cool aye? What we could do: What we could do is get a copy of the SAV file and trade with each other. If you want the other person to only have a specific Pokémon, you could just release the other Pokémon from the SAV file and catch some random Pokémon and let some Poké Balls in the game so the other person can catch and trade with himself and have your Pokémon in his real game. All he/she needs to do is first, make a backup of his own SAV file incase he deletes his original one from computer or if you delete yours by mistake in the real cartridge. This really works because I've traded this way with a friend in Australia and I'm not even there. All I did was place his SAV file he e-mailed me, in my real cartridge of Sapphire, I used my Emerald and the real SAV file of my Emerald and did the trade. I gave him the Pokémon he wanted and he gave me the Pokémon I wanted. I e-mailed him the SAV file back and he placed the SAV file in his Ruby. Yes, RUBY and SAPPHIRE can load same SAV file, but Emerald can't load Ru/Sa SAV files. I even mixed records with him and now I got his secret base in my Emerald and Sapphire. Leave comments on what you think of this. ============================== Shortly, what you need are: -GBA Pokemon game(s) -a DS -R4/TTDS or DSTT(same thing) -GBA Backup Tool (homebrew ROM) -a friend with a Pokémon you want or he wants. Let me know what you think. This way you might have an Event Pokémon in your GBA games and even in your Colosseum or games. I'm looking for someone that has a DSTT or R4 or something like R4, and has an Ageto Celebi. An Ageto Celebi is a Celebi from the Japanese Colosseum Bonus Disc that came at Level 10. There are many pokemon in the pokemon world and some can be very interesting. This interest could be origin, habitat, or something else stated in various pokedex entries. Some pokemon have been denied a decent legend on them so I have set out to write them. Why not use the information set before us in the pokedex and the moves they can learn and create some legends for the legend neglected pokemon. If you have a suggestion of a pokemon that has been denied a decent legend then post it here and I will do my very best to write a story.
