Yeah, I'm double posting to show I haven't solved the issue, the name rater just goes Registeel! What an impeccable name! Take good care of Registeel! It doesn't give me the option to change it.

I'm sorry if I sound like an idiot but I got an AR for my DS about 5 days ago and cannot find a code to let the name rater rename traded pokemon, I have Pokemon Pearl and cannot get the platinum official platinum code to work. Will anyone be so generous as to give me the code for Pearl and how to activate it?
