Hi guys I have been thinking lately about pokemon formes like Shaymin & Giratina and i've been wondering, wouldn't it be cool if we could choose what pokemon should have a new forme? So here is my question for you If you could choose a pokemon to have a new forme, what pokemon would you choose? Me, personally, think Regigigas because I feel he deserves it

i tried uploading a video, and it didn't upload because something was apparently wrong with my Pokemon(s). they're are legal, and they all passed the "legality checker". so whats the problem? anyone have any working solutions? unless the other trainers Pokemon can affect the video too.

So im trying to make a ROM Hack(with the ROM Pokemon Fire Red). I have tried to learn how to script, but it never works, I have always been better at making the maps, so i need someone that can script really well. So these are the positions i need: Scripter (must be able to do lots of complicated thing, like events, ect.): 2-3 people Advance Maper (must know your way around adv map): 3-5 people Person that can make a title screen (From when you turn on the game to all the way until you press START): 1 person (YOU MUST HAVE EXPERINCE IN DOING THIS!) Hi, I'm new to these forums. Can someone please help me convert my save file from 1024kb to 512kb? I have a Pokemon Platinum .sav file that that is 1024kb. I am trying to bring it down to 512kb so I can edit it with pokesav. I tried to convert it through http://shunyweb.info/convert.php but I get an error that the upload has failed.

I'm not perfect, mistakes can exist in the program still. This program can be used for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 for the following tasks: Generating Action Replay codes to create Pokemon, modify the Pokedex, and add Mystery Gift data, including exporting to an XML file that can be dragged to the Action Replay code manager Loading and saving of save files. Pokemon data and Pokedex data can be fully modified. Loading and saving of party and PC .pkm files (136, 220, and 236 byte, encrypted and unencrypted) Adding Wonder Cards to save files Conversion of Action Replay codes into Pokemon information (This is limited.) Finding a PID to match IVs, nature, gender, ability, shininess, and hidden power type/power - with variable IVs Recalculating save file checksums Editing items Editing C-Gear background images Most of what you need to know to use the program is self-explanatory. However, there are now tooltips explaining just about everything in it. There are some things that aren't quite covered though: Windows XP or newer is required. (However, it does run without issues on "emulated" Windows programs for Mac OS and Linux.) (This is only applicable to generation 4 games, and maybe not even HG/SS.) Using codes for party Pokemon can sometimes cause bad eggs upon activating the code. You can just activate it again and it should fix the problem. (You can check the summary after activating each time to see if it's fixed, or just close the party display and re-open it.) I don't think there's any way around this. As far as I know, this has no negative effect on the game when you save, as long as you don't save it with a bad egg. (I'm not even sure if saving with a bad egg would be harmful, but there's no reason to do so.) Pokemon can be dragged around amongst party/box slots. .pkm files can be dragged into and from party/box slots. You can associate compatible files (save files, .pkm files, etc) with PokeGen to be able to easily load them from Explorer windows. Holding alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will display that Pokemon's information instead of requiring you to right click and "View data". Holding shift + alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will set the slot's data with the tab's data. Obviously this is equivalent to right clicking and selecting "Set". If you don't want to receive updates to certain languages, delete the corresponding language file. If you can't figure out how to do something, read the tooltips. For those that don't know, tooltips are an informative message that gets displayed when you stop your mouse pointer over a control (editbox, dropdown box, button, etc) for a short period of time. There's also the questions and answers thread that's being updated occasionally. Note the date on posts in this thread if you're reading through it. There were many changes to the program since its initial release, including a rename, removal of generation 3 support, and other major redesigns. Also, this thread used to be the only way to post feedback/bugs for the program, prior to a forum section being made. That's why it has tons of posts when it's a locked thread.

Hi just a quick question how do i make a pokemon from scratch and make it 100% legal to work on wi-fi on pbr i made a new team i used pid iv generator all shiny pid's and i put in the hidden hex values on top of that but once i use them on pbr on wi-fi it tells me that some of the pokemon cant be used on the pass so i would appreciate any help and it only happends wen i search for random battles if i battle a friend it ignores to check if they are hacked or not Thanks

so im new using pokesav and i made my first code perfectly (change my characters name to RYU :biggrin:) but, now i want to change my absol and dragonite's gender to male (they're both female) but i just cant figure out how to do it, the game crashes when i use the code given, so.....help please EDIT: btw, if this thread belongs to another section please move it

My brother and I recently decided to create completely new teams to battle each other with in diamond/pearl. So instead of spending two weeks training pokemon we will use once or twice, the easier option seemed to be to use some kind of Gameshark-like device. So, we located an Action Replay and downloaded Pokesav to create pokemon teams but we're not sure what the parameters are exactly of the program. Usually, I'm against cheating but in this case, we will only be battling each other and not affecting anyone else. My question: what exactly will the Acton Replay code change in the game? All I did start up the program and change the first pokemon in the party and saved it as a test. Now when I put that code onto the Action Replayl and use the pearl code, will that change only my first pokemon? I don't want all of my save data to be suddenly erased. Note: I plan to manually put the code onto the action replay by typing it in because I do not have the software or the hookups for the action replay.

Ok, I looked on these forums and there wasn't a Pokemon Shiny Egg Guide, so here it is. Firstly, find the pokemon you want a lvl 1 Shiny of. Catch a Ditto, and put it and the other Pokemon into the Day-Care. Next, you'll need a site that says when, roughly, the eggs will hatch, like http://serebii.net/pokedex-dp/ Now, save once you get 1 Number away from the egg hatch Number. Now walk forward until the egg hatches (This may be about 200 steps) When the egg hatches, don't move, and look at the number of steps. Write this down. Turn the power off, then on. Now, go to the number before that, and save. Now, walk forward, and the egg will hatch. How cool is that? Now, if it isn't shiny, soft reset (L, R, Select, Start) and keep repeating the process. This may be pointless with a terrible pokemon, but with something like a Magikarp or Feebas, it will be your saviour! Note, I do not own Serebii.net, nor do I work with them in any way.

I took it upon myself to use the RSS feed from the Project Pokémon Wiki to create a PP Wiki Twitter! For those of you with a Twitter account, you can now track changes made to the wiki! So hopefully this is useful to someone.

As above, been looking for some PKM files but can't find it.

I've edited my Diamon and Pearl saves to make them have the same name, ID and SID. It's basically the same game as far as other games know. Then I use Pokemon Ranch to do the moving. But, as you know, Ranch (NA) isn't compatible with Platinum. At least not officially. Is using PokeSav my only option? (I don't have 2 working DSs. Phat is dead )
