  1. I will forward this to Fallen, and speak with him about improving the design of the nag screen. Thanks!
  2. Because SURF is an HM, when you pal park it, you must remove all HMs first. Thats why there is a TCGWC surfing pikachu, and a PBR surfing pikachu, among others.
  3. Even if I did find a legit one, the majority of people would claim its hacked anyways, so its not even worth it.
  4. I have no plans on bringing them back.
  5. If I remember correctly it must be common wild nds/gba (ABCD) algorithm, only.
  6. I will fix the article soon. Thank you for pointing out the inaccuracy.
  7. You cannot determine legality of trade pokemon that way, since the parents would NEVER be available.
  8. The shiny zigzagoons, if I remember correctly, are only from Sapphire (for both). The hometowns are not random.
  9. He means make it shiny, trade it to someone else, then trade it back to yourself.
  10. I don't remember if those were the ones I got from one of our members. I will double check it. If they are, then they are proper, otherwise its possible they are not. Are you referring to the japanese ones, or usa ones?
  11. There is no algorithm, so no.
  12. It depends how it is made. RNG Reporter is for people who do not have a flash cartridge or ARDS.
  13. I have looked into determining legitness based on date of acquisition and the PID/IV combination. The problem is that kids sometimes leave their game on, plugged in, for lets say... days at a time... with NPCs moving, and shit going on in the screen. While not practical, it is possible for someone to have the game on for a really long time, before and after catching it. So how do you determine when they turned their game on? If you can determine when they turned it on (to the minute), then you can verify legitness for ANY pokemon caught during that gameplay period. Unfortunately there are too many variables to determine this, and the RNG, ARNG, and IRNG can be advanced independent of time or other factors.
  14. Yamipoli claims that she herself received a shiny jirachi from her own bonus disc. She also claims that a reliable friend from Japan knew of someone who received a shiny ageto celebi. I will be speaking with loadingNOW on yamipoli's credibility, but as far as her history, she has been a big part of the gba era. According to Gold Ursaring, she also traded pokes that he specifically asked her not to... so I dunno.
  15. While I could provide shiny 10 anivs, those would be legal, and not legit. Many people expressed their concern for having legit downloads, not legal ones.
  16. I don't think you understand how it was distributed... the person would connect via a link-cable to the distribution machine, and 2 pokes were downloaded to their game. Therefore if Nintendo didn't want shinies, they would have to prevent it via code.
  17. Upon speaking with yamipoli, a respected person in the pokemon community, and someone who attended the 10 aniv event, she said that a 10 year old boy 3 people in front of her in line got a black charizard, and was hysterical about it. She said it didn't look faked and that it wouldn't have been practical to do that, AT the event. She kept going back in line to fill up numerous cartridges for her friends back home. The theory (I don't know whether it is true or not) is that the distribution machine has a check for shinyness just like colosseum and , however it only checks to see if the PID <--> IV is shiny ONCE and then generates a new one if it is. If a person is lucky enough (1 in 6.7 million), that person could theoretically get a shiny twice and that could explain how this kid got the shiny Pokemon. With that said, the legality that PPSE and this website will follow for events are "within the realm of possibility" for the "method of distribution". Because a distribution machine (link-cable) was used at the event, if this theory was found to be true, it is theoretically possible to get a shiny. Right now I would make the point that it is remotely possible, but in a practical sense, the chances of one person having it, and putting it out in the wild, are slim to none.
  18. Something to note: Anything except for Normal GBA, and Wild GBA, will never occur on an emulator. The other results are due to the hardware of the GBA and the RNG algorithm.
  19. Culex, those 2 are simply missing images. I added them to the list I made.
  20. A couple pictures are missing: Fixed And it would be sweet if the ajax window (the wysiwyg for posting) was gold color
  21. DSPokeEdit has an option to change this, however I was never able to get it to work.
  22. If its an event pokemon, just name the event and we can tell you its TID/SID.
  23. Latias can ONLY be found roaming Hoenn in Sapphire, and that means that it MUST say "Roaming GBA" as the Type. Because this is not the case, it is an obvious hack. The easiest way to fix your hack is to change its game from Sapphire to Ruby.
  24. Because hatched pokemon can be renamed by the original trainer, and often are evolved during the process, the trash bytes are usually removed or overwritten. With this, it is futile to check the trashbytes of the pokemon. PPSE will have full support for hatched Pokemon by using string layers, however that is outside the scope of the Legality Checker.
  25. The korean DPPt game can palpark any region of GBA, hence when applicable, it is added to the list.
