    randomspot, in HG/SS you can trade with the gym leader after you beat them. There is quite a bit more interaction this time. There are quite a few static PID/IV pokemon you can get by trade.

    In this thread, I would like people to post PKM files which are shiny (not hatched), in-game gifts (eggs like Happiny or Mareep and pokemon like eevee), in-game legends (like Darkrai), in-game trades, or other special Pokemon that are not wild. If you have a legit chain shiny Pokemon, please post it as well. Please post 3rd generation Pokemon as well! And please ONLY Pokemon caught by you. I need the Pokemon in every language!

    Thank you, thats perfect! Also, in the case of screenshots of wondercards and summary information, we do not need the bottom screen since it provides no useful information.

    We need everyone's help. Please take your legit Pokemon, and create in-game screenshots of the summary pages. These pictures will go into the event site. Please use an emulator to achieve this. if you want to block of specific events, please reply here so everyone else knows what is being worked on. There are over 1200 event pokemon from the 3rd gen until now, so I need EVERYONE's help! Please also include pictures of the wondercard, both sides.

    Checks to make sure that the mystery gift has the proper language, date for that particular event as well as the release of the game that was used to acquire it.

    Unfortunately with school and work, I do not have time to do trash bytes by myself. If someone is willing to do trash bytes, this is how it needs to be done: Take the platinum game (not english or japan, those are done), and use a hex editor to modify the ROM (.nds file). Each GBA game has a 4 character code, ending with its language, E, J, G, F, etc. Find the code that corresponds to your GBA game. Lets say the game is sapphire and yours is English, then look for sapphire but under the language of the platinum game you are using. In the hex editor you will see a list of GBA games in text, so simply change that language to the language of yours. Example: If yours is AQAE, but you are doing french which is AQAF, then change AQAF to AQAE everywhere in the ROM. Next keep a sav file for platinum which we will refer to as "before". Then pal park 6 pokes, and use pokesav to extract them from the sav. Then put the before sav file back in, and pal park 6 more. Repeat 5-10 times to load up 30-60 pokes for each language. Please make sure to list them as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 indicating the slot they were in within the pal park. I would appreciate anyone who has time to do this to please help me so I can add it to Legality! Thanks!

    I was criticized for my lack of support for mystery gifts. I added release date checks, language checks, and evo support. I also fixed various bugs regarding mystery gift checks. Hopefully I should be adding more trash byte support soon THERE MIGHT BE BUGS - PLEASE REPORT THEM ASAP SO I CAN FIX THEM EDIT: I am not sure if some of the wondercards I have suffer from the problem of the Platinum checkbox not being checked properly as they should have been. If someone has a list, or can test the platinum event pokes to see, that would be GREAT.

    I updated Legality Checker I added the kyoto pikachu, birthday chimchar, and new mareep egg for HG/SS The next release will include support for evolutions for mystery gifts where applicable (sorry I missed it so far). Also included will be support for kyoto pikachu claimed from HG/SS, as well as restriction on previous distributions that were not available to HG/SS. Platinum will also be restricted, and the bug with mystery gifts claimed with pearl games showing as hacks will be fixed as well.

    Thanks. We can confirm whether its hacked or not with the PCD. Now the PCD information for the charmander was put on bulbapedia, however that was inferred from previous years, and not taken from the actual wondercard. I should be getting the chimchar, charmander, and pikachu from a japanese contact, hopefully soon. Thanks singe for getting it quickly though!

    Hey guys, anyone used filb's generator to look at how egg's are generated? I don't have one to test for legality, but it would still be interesting to see how its generated.

    I missed the announcement of the mareep egg with the wallpapers, but apparently its out there. Kelly you were talking about it with Singe, do you have anymore information or know where to get one?

    BEFORE POSTING: use PCD Safe to extract the wondercard AND Mystery Gift (PGT/PCD files) for NDS Event Pokemon. Does not support HG/SS YET! Do not open a Pokemon for editing in Pokesav (this is how people accidently delete necessary information, such as mail, trash bytes, etc). Just click SAVE, and not EDIT. ONLY post Pokemon from events that you have attended personally, or have witnessed someone attend. If you attended the event, PLEASE POST PICTURES - Preferrably of you, and your DS (videos work too). WHILE POSTING: Thread Name: Event Name - Pokemon - Trainer ID - Date if you do not follow the rules, or your contribution is false or illegitimate, it will be removed without warning or response.

    Honestly it looks like it uses the same algorithm as mystery gifts (nothing). Again, I don't have the game, but I assume you retrieve everything from a menu, and not in-game.
