    I threw the pokemon someone traded to their platinum game, into legality checker and it came up as "Hacked". Good luck guys

    yeah that device is almost useless. If you, or SCV, or someone else knows enough assembly, go ahead and try reading it. We know where the certificate file is, so I guess thats a start.

    THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTES TO OUR EVENT COLLECTION! Here is a collection of all of the contributions from the forums, and a few that were given to me by members of this site. Unfortunately I was unable to identify some of the people who contributed (sorry). If someone can provide links, then I will add their name in. This information WILL go into the events site as well. Contribution Names are being kept up by the forums. When the event site is up, everyone's names will appear there Renamed CROWN Johto Beasts to WIN2011 where applicable. Added Shiny WIN2011 German Entei Still waiting for missing Korean Johto Beasts/Celebis If anything is missing/wrong, please post, or PM me so I can fix it.

    I was going by the fact that you said it was simply caught using a wild mod. If it was hatched, then its fine.

    Oh, in-game trades have static stats, then yes it is legit. I never got around to acquiring every in-game trade in order to put it into legality. If someone wants to get all 3rd gen, and 4th gen in-game trades for me, that would be great.

    In order to debug it and read the assembly for the wifi protocol, I would need to know where in the code it is. For that, I need debugging equipment connected to my DS which I do not have and do not know how to build/setup.

    yeah, and the main problem is that it uses SSLv3. To emulate a client, we need to debug the game while its in Wifi mode in order to find the packet structure. Otherwise, having the license file and all of that jazz, won't mean anything unless we know the packet structure.

    No, it does NOT work in HG/SS - Mingot is working on a new one.

    If the stats are off, put the pokemon into your PC box in the game, and then take it out again. That will fix boosted stats.

    There are only SIX valid perfect PID/IV combinations for in-game legends pokemon.

    It would be easiest to post the actual Pokemon so we know which event you are referring to, and which in-game pokes you are referring to.

    No clue, thats why legal.exe supports both scenarios.

    Yeah, you can pick where the pal parked pokemon will be placed in the pal park. This has been known, but honestly nobody has done the research into it because poeple like us usually bypass it anyways lol.

    Its a hacked shiny or chain shiny pokemon.

    I am not home to check the files, but I will pose a couple questions you can ask: What kind of celebi is it? If its japanese (Ageto), it will say unknown gba type. If its 10 aniv, or "normal", then its hacked. There is no normal celebi, and the 10 aniv should say "Common GBA Event (Restricted)". For the other Pokemon, look into whether or not they can be hatched. If they were hatched in GBA, then it will say unknown gba type, which is normal, otherwise, they are hacked.

    There is really no way of confirming the legitness of PCNY. Not unless you or someone you know personally acquired it.

    Chansey and Farfetch'D are legal. The other WISH pokemon are hacks. The GTS pokes I am not sure about since I never was able to validate the ones I had personally either. ---------- Post added at 06:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:06 AM ---------- The Christie Heracross is hacked. The rest of the GTS, with the exception of the TOM, are legit. I cannot evaluate TOM since I do not have a "legit" copy of that pokemon.

    Any pokemon that can be synchronized, whether chain shiny, or regular wild pokemon, MUST pass the sync check. I am not sure if the red gyrados in hg/ss can be synchronized (which is the only exception).
