sorry, misread your post a little .. i though you want a FAQs on how to use pokesav and the other basic things >_< well ... actually I love discussion .. but when i were asked for a " basic" thing in the middle of the conversation .. then .. i don't really like that .. basically for this shiny pokemon ... you have to know a little knowledge about hex"ing" and hex/binary calculator ... and you don't have to search for the SID .. in reversal, you can use your own ID and SID .. and start searching the IV combination (and PID offcourse) based on the calculation in the first page ^^ ... what's written in the front page is not just "the way" ... there are many ways to make legal shiny by making an improvement from that concept ^^ and if you want to know what is SID/Secret ID .. basically nintendo gives us 2 ID .. the one OT ID is viewable in game and the SID is hidden.. u can only check it using pokesav or AR .. the main function is to differentiate between u'r pokemon and the others .. so basically .. if u'r pokemon has the same ID and SID as your OT's then .. the pokemon is yours and it will obey you even you only got 0 badge and leveled it up to 100 >_< hell no , why would i do that?? what's the point of winning some attention , it's nothing and i'm not writing that to win some attention ... it's to encourage the member to use the search feature first before asking ^^ ... if you get the wrong point in my writing above , then i'm really sorry for that ^^

this one is pretty nice the program can read FR/LG R/S/E savedata ... and finally i can see the PID and IV combination of the GBA pokemon that I have .. thx dude , this program rocks , you too anyway .. i'm curious ,who made this program?? i don't see any single credit for it , not even in the program itself is he someone on the PP forum?? .. or maybe u, zafur ^^

it's because 10 ANNIV celebi is an event pokemon .. so it's hard to figure out the PID algorithm of this event celebi ^^ the PID-IV correlation for event pokemon and wild/legendary pokemon caught in game are different, if you don't know it ^^

well , several months ago when i was still being a noob ... (in the old forum) .. I did self-study and never posted in the forum ^^ ... i always used search feature over and over ... and i know the basic stuff from that ^^ well .. what i wanna say is that .. actually that kind of "how to start FAQs" is not needed (as the information on how to use pokesav is already in the front page of PP) , legal eggs FAQS, etc ... as you can learn it as you blend in this forum. and also every answer actually can be found in the forum , it's just in different thread or post what the noobs have to do , use the search feature first before asking ^^ PP has wiki , why don't you search wiki first if you want to know somthin, then you have to work hard , not just only word, but by action .. that's the fact ^^ coz' anyone will feel tired if the same question is asked over and over , you know i'm saying this because i am still considered myself as a noob till now ^^ .. i still need to learn more in this hacking savedata and stuffs, hexing , etc even noob,like me will sick of being asked if I were asked over and over when the information is already in the forum or stickied i am sorry if my word seems kinda harsh .. but that's the fact ^^

i don't know if it's allowed to post the english patched ver. of DSPokeEdit.. alternatively .. search it in google .. there should be japanese and spanish version ^^ that way .. I will probably never catch it .. not even one ... it is super sucks and will take much of my time to get one =_= especially if i use good rod .. probably it gonna take years XD

I hope that nintendo will add many legendary pokemons in Gold/Silver remake >_< looking forward to that XD

finish ... ^^ everyone will know that the one that you make is hacked >_< start from 1. IV-PID relationship doesn't match .. 2. ability doesn't same as what the PID stated 3. hidden values messed up 4. the place(hatched or met) and the level when u catch it is not correct 5. messed up trashbyte because you put too many letter in pokemon's name =_= 6. to think that the "old" ribbon is ticked while the pokemon doesn't come from GBA games =_= .. that's screwed >_< and so on , so on , so on especially .. making celebi out of scratch is somethin that just impossible ... because you could only get celebi from nintendo event .. try to use one from DB and also my advice, don't use all 31 IV and the last thing try to learn from the guide (legality guide & hidden values) .. coz' i am already tired right now >_< ... i wanna sleep BTW .. here is my version one more thing ... don't say legit; it's legal Legal all 31IV team.rar

not "some" but only one .. and that's my .. and thanks for clarifying ^^ don't mess with suicune ... it's not as easy as you think ... because the IV in the original GBA is glitched .. and you need to hex it so it will look like it was migrated from GBA game ^^

so .. giratina will always be a "cave" pokemon if it was put in turnback "jail" i am kinda feels pity of legendary pokemons, especially for pokemon like this =_= ... why ?? living in the darkness like that , stay out from the world ... can't they go out and just have some fun ...

as damio said ... by using DSPokeEdit .. you could know the exact location of feebas (all of the 5 tiles) and you could even catch it using good rod ^^ .. if you want a prove , then me myself catch it using good rod anwyay if I was asked like that .. then I would say that .. feebas is a very easy common pokemon to be found and catch (by using DSPokeEdit)

just like me ... in the old forum .. you could say that .. I was only being a watcher there ... watching how to edit savefile using pokesav ... but somehow .. after the old forum gone , and the new one , PP, was born .. i feel kinda boring to be a "watcher" .. and then i decided do somethin different by posting in the savedata/hacking forum .. and it really2 improves my knowledge quickly by asking, answering post , ect ... well .. the main point is that .. this forum is awesome .. Project Pokemon rocks :grog:

classic ribbon's description changes if you haven't receive any single gift from mystery gift ^^ be sure to get .. at least 1 mystery gift pokemon before putting event PKM to your savedata

valor?? you mean value ...?? if it is , then yes .. you can choose some of the possibilities that pokesav has ^^ but it depends on what pokemon that you get ^^ it's different between the legendaries and the normal one but, the safest choice is wild NDS/GBA type a.k.a type 1 ^^ anyway why don't u just use Pokesav .. because it is much more simple than using SCV IVPID program ... except if you want to search for shiny pokemon ^^ u will need that program ^^ in pokesav .. u just have to put the IV and click PID and it will generate all the possibilities , including nature and abilities ... or what you write there "Legality Checker and IVPID" ... the IVPID is not the program made by SCV , but the option in pokesav??? =_= if it is then I misunderstood what u'r saying don't mind it anyway ... as long as azelf only got 1 ability ... it doesn't matter what will show up in legality checker or pokesav

ability 1 in IVPID = to class 2 in pokesav or ability 2 in legality checker ability 0 in IVPID = to class 1 in pokesav or ability 1 in legality checker anyway ... Azelf only has 1 ability right??

Why there isn't any code for showing PID or maybe IV for GBA pokemon games ?? =_= i've search in gamefaqs and else .. and didn't find one -
I've seen it in the old forum and well, yeah .. the sprite looks like .... can't explain it well but it's messed up .. it doesn't shows up like a monster it's a glitch anyway ... what can we expect from a glitch pokemon

how to put japanese name in pokesav??? it's quite simple . first change your regional language settings to Japanese 2nd , open your US pokesav and save the PKM file ... 3rd, open japanese pokesav .. load the PKM files and click original name for pokemon .. and tick nickname ...and save the PKM .. 4th, open the PKM file with US pokesav .. save it and save the file .. and play it using your english pokesav .. and it will show japanese name ^^ alternatively .. try making hiragana/kana using program like JWPCE ^^ it's a free program .. u can google it ^^
