  1. I wonder if they mean new abilities instead of Pressure, which I think they're deserving of. Levitate? OH! I see it now. Sorry, thought that it was standing on the big flippers, not on all fours.
  2. Holy neckbeards! That's a nice sprite! I speculate my team will include a red gyarados (I think I killed it in silver ) And did you notice that the Lapras that was standing..? It seems that GF is adding legs to pokemon where legs were never before. I wonder what they'll give Qwillfish. A tail like Spoink? I chose Azalea town because it has more of a grassy feel to it, kind of like Celadon seems more of a big city, though the grass-type gym leader is an attraction. Also, Floaroma, the place where you get the Gracidea (as far as I remember) is not post-E4 in Plat, though that may mean nothing in HG/SS. I wonder if Celebi is going to get a new forme? (I sincerely hope not)
  3. I doubt that they'll include the Griseous Orb in HG/SS because it was a Torn World exclusive item which is definitely not in the original G/S/C I wonder, though, whether they will include the orbs at all... they seem like they were D/P/Pt exclusive, kind of like the Rotom formes. I can see the Gracidea being in HG/SS, especially if there's a store/town that specializes in berries or flowers (Azalea town, perhaps?) Perhaps Lati@s will be like the three birds in Plat and you will unlock them after unlocking the National Dex. At least, I'm hoping that if they're unlockable events, they'll be wifi mystery gift-unlockable like Rotom's formes in Plat. GF will probably include the forms creatively (or not...) in gen 5 due to popular demand. Eventually, though, they won't have enough room on the map for any plotline because it'll be full of forme-changing items
  4. Not especially, it wasn't nearly as helpful as the other pokedexes. It tried to put pokemon in classifications that only GF knew about, so, in looking for a pokemon, you spend most of the time trying to find the right classification... And yeah, the box system from R/B/Y was ugly... remember trying to find TMs in your box? Ech...
  5. ...what do you eat for breakfast, wraith? And I chose that because I think that a pikastew would actually be better than using either one in a battle (can you tell I don't like them...?)
  6. You don't need to limit yourself to just one damp rock. The more the merrier! Or you could go with light clay to improve the duration of the screens. Rocks would be better the earlier they go up, screens can be anytime, even to set up a sweeper mid/endgame. Also, for the switch, U-Turn is also a viable alternative since Crobat outspeeds quite a lot of things and it does damage. If it's slower than the opponent and you want to take a status or damage instead of Bronzong, U-Turn is also better than a switch. But, in essence, yep. I don't actually have time to think about the team, but good luck!
  7. hmm... maybe the barber shop will have moved aboveground into an actual shop and you can get your pokemon's hair cut at either the cheap lady or the expensive lady's chair. I speculate, however, that it's still gonna be an operation in the underground, but there will be other stuff there (maybe poffin making or seal vendors or something else).
  8. Or when you have dreams about it at night, that's addiction too (tetris..?)
  9. I was incomprehensible for about 10 minutes, even while telling my friend about it
  10. I think I might be changing my mind to Chikorita because it kinda makes you think more about your team than just one pokemon... I'm still torn between Chikorita and Totodile, though...
  11. Then that person turns you into a newt (you got better...) I wish that there were more pokemon that could evolve into more than one pokemon (like poliwhirl)
  12. I haven't really used any of them except Kingdra, so I'm going with him
  13. Dragonite, although it'd be nice if Dragonair had another evo that was slightly less barnyesque. Back on topic, Dragonite's a lot nicer than Salamence, and I never really liked Salamence in R/S/E.
  14. Kilroy was here. Seriously though, this is tough. I'll say Heracross because it's a lot more accessible in game and I've used it once or twice (I think....), unlike Scizor which I hadn't had until a few months ago. Plus Heracross' signature move is better than anything Scizor could come up with.
  15. suicune blue; it's a nice colour. Also... you misspelled Scuicune
  16. these are awesome! I think that Magikarp/Gyarados is based off of a Japanese myth where there is a carp that over a waterfall (the Dragon Gate, in mythology) it turns into a dragon, not that it takes anything away from your story; it was really good!
  17. Lucario, Electivire, Infernape and Bidoof (how can you not love him?!)
  18. I think that they'll do something like what they did in DPPt and make a Johto Dex that, once you see all the pokemon in it, Professor Elm will give you the National Dex. I think that, for that Jirachi, it will just have ??? as its Dex number if you don't have the National Dex. That or you can't trade pokemon that are not in the Johto Dex until you have the National Dex.
  19. Ugh, not another underground... hopefully they polish it up a little more if they make it in HG/SS Maybe those squares are racing minigames/other minigames in HGSS, not even related to the pokewalker. And didn't they announce that the pokewalker was going to connect to the DS by wifi? Because if it does, why would they need ingame NPCs instead of another menu at the start screen?
  20. That is the scariest Pikachu ever. I would not want that thing following me around. I'd be afraid of it going insane and killing everything. I'm surprised no one's said they want :bidoof: following them everywhere. Totally psych out anyone you meet by switching to your starter. I wonder if they'll let the other peoples' pokemon follow them, like your rival or whoever dawn/lucas are in this game.
  21. Wouldn't they just put the data for the pokewalker on the Pokewalker itself, not ingame? I think that it looks more like either another PalPark or a Safari Zone (but they already have National Park and possibly the Safari Zone itself, so I doubt it's another Safari Zone)
  22. They could give an evolution to Pinsir/Heracross as well as a pre-evo to Scyther, Pinsir and Heracross (Pinsir could use an evolution...)
  23. Tyranitar. He shakes mountains with every step. It'll be fun trying to walk on perpetual earthquakes
