I think everyone should take a look at this. DanteKoriyu recently posted a youtube link to an account of a guy who spent some time at Pokemon Festa this weekend. I was looking at his other videos and he had one of the Senior group Tournament finals on May 4th in Tokyo. But... I have never seen this before. Two strange things: The trainer characters are the DS mode characters, but the players are using wiimotes for controllers, not DS... ??? It REALLY looks like the trainers are wearing their Platinum outfits! Were those programmed into PBR? It came out way before Platinum did.... Has anyone ever seen this before??

I am going to start working on trying to obtain the Battle Video stored on a Platinum save file, and need save files to look at. If anyone has Pokemon Platinum with a Battle Video playable in the VS Recorder, please post it here, along with a detailed description of what happens in the video - as detailed as possible. Todo: 1. Find Where the battle video is stored, possibly extract/import the data as a *.plbv file. - WIP 2. Attempt to Decode the video into a text script. 3. Allow for editing. 4. After first beta is published, attempt to make graphical playback.

is there any code for stealing Battle Factory Pokemon in Platinum like in Emerald? some Pokemon in Platinum Battle Factory are really good and rare and they are powerful too.

I Recently downloaded and tryed to setup shoddy battle on my PC that has Vista(if that helps) i followed the setup guide and got so far to the point of setting up my own server(which i dont want to do) i just want to connect to the project pokemon server. i open shoddy battle, click advanced, in Host i put battle.projectpokemon.org and in port i put 50000,clicked connect and got Error: Connection timed out: connect message. can anyone help? hi im new to this site and uhhh sorry to not introduce my self and dive right in to it first but can any one tell me if i could extract pkm files that i could use in pokesav form the deposited pokemon in battle revolution i my pearl version got erased and i really REALLY need to get my pokemon back some of them were event pokemon that i really want back and i still have them saved in battle revolution so if i could get the backup from battle revolution would their be away to extract data from it that i can turn into a pkm file to just pokesav ar code them back into my pearl version and if so how THANKIES SO MUCH FOR THE HELP (sorry if this is the3 wrong form hehe (^.^)' )

This thread should be assumed to have spoilers. I've put my review (not summary) in spoilers, but responders probably won't/shouldn't put it in spoilers bracket. So everything past the summary = spoilers. Be warned Oh, these episodes have only aired in Japan. This contains spoilers since this episode has obviously not aired in the US as of yet. If there's enough interest in this, I might do this every week for new episodes, and maybe do episode discussions of older episodes. Of course, anyone is welcome to do episode discussion threads, but let's see how it goes. Japanese names tend to be used since I'm discussing the Japanese episode, but I tend to switch back and forth :\ Summary:Shinji and Satoshi have a full 6 on 6 battle, at the suggestion of Shinji's brother, Reiji. They end the first episode on even grounds, but the 2nd episode has one finishing far ahead of the other. It's a very game mechanic heavy battle, with abilities, physical/special split, and more being referenced.

This team is for the single battle against the AI in the BT Diamond and the BT portion of the Battle Frontier in Plat. I've gotten up to 136 in singles with this team in Diamond. I have yet to do anything besides Battle Factory challenges in Plat. So, without further adu: Starmie w/ Choice Specs Modest Natural Cure 252 sp atk/252 speed/6 HP - Surf - Thunderbolt - Ice Beam - Grass Knot/Psychic Starmie fulfills a lot of roles just by itself. It's move pool basically lets it hit everything that isn't Shedinja. It can absorb status and switch out. And it plays well with it's team mates, which I'll get to in a moment. Depending on how much I think I'll need to switch between moves, I've also used Wise Glasses and Life Orb. When I start playing around on Plat, I'm seriously considering adding Trick in the 4th slot. The first 3 moves, with STAB Surf and Boltbeam, are just too important to lose. Though I'm hesitant to do even that, because then I lose my best weapon against the numerous Water/Ground types found in the BT. I also may consider breeding for a Timid, because eventually, in the higher portions of the BT, it'll get outrun. Scizor w/ Leftovers Adamant Technician 252 HP/252 atk/6 DEF - Swords Dance - Subsitute - Bullet Punch - X-Scissor/Brick Break/Superpower/Night Slash/Quick Attack Scizor serves as my defense against OHKO and status. Come in on something Scizor won't mind, Sub up, set up a ridiculous amount of Sword Dances, and sweep. I've previously used this with Life Orb, but Life Orb + Sub often caused an early Scizor death. Even though with only two moves Scizor will leave a lot of room for "Not very effective", if I get behind a Sub, I can SD up, and I get priority with Bullet Punch always. While I've often used X-Scissor in the past, I think Brick Break will be my go-to attack. I don't want to deal with the drop in defense Superpower brings. I am considering doing a minimum amount of speed investment just to easily get a sub up. Any suggestions? Finally: Garchomp w/ Choice Band Jolly Sand Veil 252 atk/252 speed/6 HP - Outrage - Earthquake - Fire Fang - Aerial Ace/Stone Edge/Rock Slide/Aqua Tail/Sleep Talk Here's the final guy. Like Starmie, it can handle a lot of BT matches on it's own. The first 3 moves give perfect coverage for neutral damage on everything. The last slot is something that often fluctuates. Sleep Talk was at one time my go-to move, but with Starmie and Sub on Scizor I don't see a lot of use with it. Aerial Ace knocks around DT abusers. Scizor could get a technician boost from it, but it can't spare the move slot. I usually go for this. It sucks when I don't encounter a DT abuser, but when I'm without it, I usually get pressure stalled. Stone Edge and Rock Slide help me knock around fliers, and Chomp's unique base speed tier often convinces me to use Rock Slide for the flinch rate. I've never used Aqua Tail, but it kinda makes sense, though I've heard STAB whatever is just as good if not better. Oh, and after the first 60 matches or so, I usually end up switching this guy to a Choice Scarf and Adamant nature. Eventually it starts getting outrun. Now, here's why this team is awesome: Scizor's weakness of Fire is covered by both Starmie and Garchomp who resist it. Starmie is usually the better choice to take a fire attack since it won't mind the burn. Starmie's part-Psychic typing sucks. It is rarely useful, and gives it a Dark/Ghost/Bug weakness in addition to Electric and Grass. However, Scizor resists EVERY one of these except for electric, which Chomp is immune to. Garchomp's ice weakness is resisted by both Scizor and Starmie, and it's dragon weakness resisted by Scizor. So what do you all think? What improvements can be made, especially considering Plat changes? Is the Battle Tower portion in Platinum any different from D/P? Next up on my team is a Battle Tower team consisted around the eater of souls, Shedinja. But I'm still working on it. Happy rating. Hey does anyone know any real good 6 pokemon teams to use on PBR on the colosseums? Also if someone happens to have specific stats on each of the pokemon so I can make them on pokesav that would be awesome. (They can have hacked moves however I don't beleive they can have hacked stats.) Anyways I'm just not a very good team builder, on all the main series games I always get the starter pokemon and just add the first few I catch to my team until I get the legendarys lol, but I'm trying to help my little brother beat his game fast to get the surfing pikachu for him Anyways any advice could help!

So, I decided to play red, and after exploiting some the missingno. item glitch, I decided to go and battle the rival at route 22 (I think it was, its the route right next to Viridian) Anyway, I tried fighting, and then he takes out a charizard 'm, I killed it, after that he takes out a normal 'm, I killed it, then the game froze, anyone help me here? I don't want to lose my save file. P.S. I did catch a Pokémon with a level over 100 using the glitch...

Hey, I was wonder if it would be possible to make a code, that gives all 5 of the Gold Plates, I have 4 of 5 gold, and I have the last one silver. Would this be possible? If so please try and make one, I will never ever be able to finish doing the random pokemon one. It's extremely stupid, and I can't get past number 34, I really want my Black Trainer Card!!! If you don't get what I'm saying see if this helps. You get a Silver Plate for beating the 1st verson of the Tower Brain. You get a Gold Plate for beating the 2nd verson of the Tower Brain.
