How is the data for a pokemon caught in the pokewalker any different from a normal wild pokemon? (e.g. location data, hex values, PID/IV correlation, etc.) For example, is it possible to catch 2 exactly identical Pikachu, one in the pokewalker Yellow Forest and the other in Viridian Forest? (besides stuff like level caught)

Alright, so the title says it all. I am wondering how one brings a pokemon file from the gameboy to the computer to check if it is legit. We have access to the R4....just kind of lost on how to get the pokemon out of the game and onto the computer. Any help clarifying this will be greatly appreciated. -

What exactly does it check? As in, does it work if you just hack the right species with a Fateful Encounter, or is there anything special? -
Is it possible for anyone to provide a savefile with the current Shaymin event activated or able to activate? I have spent hours actually playing the english Platinum but still can't get it to work so now I feel this is the only way.. if someone would be so kind :frown:

Okay, I'm new to Pokesav, but I read on it a bit and I have done EVERYTHING correctly up till this point. I have my pokemon saved as a pkmn. file. i checked its legality, and nothing was wrong. From what I think, i turned it into an XML file correctly and put the code into my AR. For some reason, I can't seem to get the Pokemon to appear. I press L+R and I havent seen my pokemon help? How do I get my pokemon?

Hi all, literally just getting into this Pokésav thing and wanted someone to look over my Blaziken's .pkm file to see if it's been created properly and whether or not it would pass a legality check in 'real life'. The ProjectPokemon legality checker seems to have passed it (I assume the yellow 'Hatched' means its ok?), but just wanted others to take a look and let me know if I'm doing this right. *edit* Updated my Blaziken to include hidden hex calculations, not sure if I've done it right, updated file included, thanks. Much obliged, Art :grog:

Hello there ! I've check few shiny pokemon with Legal.exe and... some of them appear Hacked. But what i don't understand is "why?" because in the log, everything appear Valid... Could somebody explain me please? (i've put the .pkm files in attachment ) Ah. A friend gave me a Celebi to check. Legal.exe says that everything's valid but it's an Unknown Type. Moreover, the Trash Bytes appear valid but i checked it with Pokesav & an Hex Editor and... as it's a Pal-Parked Pokemon, it should have more bytes after the terminators. So... i conclude that it's an hack. Am I right ? ( I've put the Celebi in attachment too ) rozbouton.pkm griknot.pkm baudrive.pkm celebi.pkm

Hello everybody, today I will be showing you how to determine your Secret ID in Pokemon Heart Gold or Soul Silver. You can also hack your game using this method, but I won't go into detail about that. 1. Go to your NO$GBA BATTERY folder and copy your save file elsewhere in order to back it up in case you make a mistake. 2. Open NO$GBA.ini in Notepad, and scroll down to the line: SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed ...change this to: SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed ...and save the file. 3. Open No$GBA (make sure your save type in NO$GBA is FLASH 512 kbytes) and continue your game. Save the game, and quit NO$GBA. Check the size of your save file in the BATTERY folder. It should be over 500KB (mine was 512KB). 4. Download the following program. You will use it to convert your save file: No$GBA --> VBA Battery Converter To use it, click the "Configure" button and follow the instructions by clicking on the buttons in order. In the text box named "New .SAV File" enter a name for the new file you will make. Now select your Pokemon save file and press convert file. It will create a new save file with the name you typed in. 5. Now open up your Pokesav program for Pokemon HGSS. Click the button that says "open", and select your new converted save file (the one you made in step 4). Your ID and SID should appear in the text boxes corresponding to each. That's all folks! Okay I'm trying to add a pal parked Pokemon, but I forgot what poke ball they need to be in. do they just get automated into a normal pokebal after you pal park one?

Pokesav.org redirects to projectpokemon.org nowadays. The .pkm files which were the core of the website after the actual Pokesav download are no longer found on the homepage, but are hidden under the bottom Editing link panel, which for some interesting reason is in smaller text than the repetitive links above it. You click on Pokesav, and search to pick out the PKM Files link hastily stuffed into the list on the right. This takes you to another page in which you must search for the actual real link to the .pkm file database from text discretely molded into the paragraph. Finally this opens up a new tab to the .pkm file database. The Event Pokemon downloads page is still missing for parts undisclosed, though it did at some point exist. Here is what else has been said on the subject: The first point doesn't actually reference anything that was said in the thread, but the second point references a "Pokesav Requests" location which does not exist on the webpage. Perhaps it references some poorly devised extemporaneous forum section, which neglects the irrevocable benefits of content-based webpages, which is what ProjectPokemon.org conveniently provides. The section of the ProjectPokemon.org forum under Site Discussion is the best place to discuss discussion on the ProjectPokemon.org. Unless of course people flaunt around admin commands on a whim to close threads, thereby censoring any further discussion a la the Chinese Google search engine. Not all the PKM files are legit, and those PKM file sections have been up since Pokesav.org's time, diminishing the "matter of time" argument. So, basically, as the discussion stands now, the Event PKM file page on ProjectPokemon.org formerly Pokesav.org is either unavailable or very covertly hidden, even better than the regular PKM file page is. Where is it?

Is there anyway to edit an Event wondercard or pkm such that the Pokemon's nature is set while still retaining its legality/legitimacy? (I know the Pokemon here aren't legit) Thank you, ProjectDestiny

I don't know if this is the right place to put this but I'm requesting that someone replace the Pokemon Platinum male sprite with the Male sprites of Soul Silver What sprites I want changed are HMs (when using surf and fly and when taking out the pokeball. anything that has to do with it) Overworld (walking, running, biking and whatever else there is) Battle Sprites (throwing the pokeball) Trainer Card (the pic of hero in that) Color? well, i don't think i really care about the color of the sprites, but as long as it looks normal and not... how do i put this... "not natural?" i dun kno... basically everything that has to do with the male sprite (aside from the intro vid, the credits vid, and when the character runs upon selecting the character when starting a new game) Honestly I despise the look of Platinum's character (No offense to those that like his style). I've had to bear with it through playing through the entire game... yeah... A Pokemon Platinum (U) with Pokemon Soul Silver (J) Male Sprites to wrap it up

Hey, I've looking for a while for this topic and I couldn't find Anywhere else so.... In the Pokemon Project Page (not the forum) there are to links one being this http://projectpokemon.org/games/eventdownloads.php and the other being this http://projectpokemon.org/games/pkm.php I don't understand what these are for.
