    The pursuit glitch only exists in Platinum vs Diamond/Pearl fights anyway. Also, now that I think about it removing species clause is indeed a horrible idea. Most of the time we have one, maybe two counters to a certain Pokemon. Imagine a team with six Zapdoses. My. God. You'll essentially NEED Blissey on every team. Latias would fall to two Zapdoses using HP Ice eventually, but Blissey could keep eating them. Or 6 Choice Band Scizors? Ugh, I don't wanna think about it anymore. Also, Latias and Latios are two distinct Pokemon. Realistically they're as similar as Ho-oh is with Paras. At the same time, What about UU? Moltres and Articuno are allowed, but their sibling Zapdos isn't. And yeah, I don't think Smogon's voting criteria is perfect but its better than nothing. And yeah, Latios is Uber as hell. If a Pokemon can sweep in the Uber metagame just imagine it in OU. Even Garchomp can sweep in Ubers.

    Well, I am of course, assuming the TC has the ability to work with Pokesav : / No doubt Vaporeon's best HP is electric, but my concern is if a pokemon like Lucario comes along or some steel or ice type.

    I updated YOUR FACE Swampert is not a lead, mostly since it can't counter trick sets that well. He's meant to be the pokemon to switch to once your anti-lead messes the opponent up How is Salamence a controversial pokemon >_>. EQ isn't going to do much with your Salamence without many attack evs. If you want to go mixed, use 84 Atk / 216 SpA / 208 Spe with a Mild nature. And replace flamethrower with fire blast. Scizor is ZOMG STANDARD Psycho Shift is useless. Its not as easy as predicting a status ailment and sending in Latias. And no, it can't "win matches" as you said. Its EVs are all over the place. What is 100 speed supposed to outrun? Also, any team with a Scizor or T-tar can counter Latias. Lucario will disappear from your party. BECAUSE HE DIES. Regarding Azelf, Lucario is your late-game clean up. I see your Azelf more as a middleman. The pokemon you use in the middle of the game along with Salamence. Ok, are you ready for my favorite phrase? ZAPDOS WEAK Yeah. And don't bet on Swampert doing anything with Zapdos having HP Grass 80% of the time. Besides Swampert, you don't have any rock or ice moves. You're not just Zapdos weak, you're Salamence and Flygon weak. Also, Many Zapdos go special defensive too, and there's always a chance it does carry HP Ice. Salamence is not a counter to Zapdos. Making the wrong decision can destroy you. Latias is a Zapdos blocker, but it can't get any SE hits in. Personally I'd go with the Calm Mind set. But again, you need something to block Flygon with. Don't bet on Scizor blocking it when it carries Fire Blast a lot. Also, the Salamence mentioned in the counter secion of Lucario's smogon analysis assumes there isn't a SR in play.

    I don't usually rate Battle Tower teams since they behave differently from regular matches (and I really don't like calculating Garchomp into the equation), but I think you need a fighting move somewhere. Maybe using HP Fighting over Dark on Vaporeon?

    I was trying to show that canines can be a lot more ferocious than you expect. And the hump is basically used to bash against larger animals/myths with brute force, though most of it is hair.     Energy Ball is always outclassed by T-bolt. Most pokemon that learn Energy Ball also learn T-bolt. And of course I exaggerated a bit, its more like 10-15, but it also has to deal with whether or not its a good choice to use Grass Knot on that set and if the Pokemon is meant to attack like that. Also, Giga Drain isn't going to do crap for Flygon = D The reason water is so powerful in ubers is because of the boosts it gives. Boost to water moves. Boost to Thunder Accuracy. Kyogre and Palkia learn those moves, as does Manaphy. Groudon... makes it pretty so fire can deal more damage and Pokemon can heal more health with synthesis/solarbeam charges faster blah blah. There's no real strength in ubers for that though. Skymin and Ho-oh work nicely along side Groudon, but thats it. You need a friggen Exeguttor to use Solar Beam because Groudon's sp. atk isn't going to penetrate Kyogre at all. And Fire types were bad this metagame even before SR got popular. The early metagame was about one thing: Garchomp and how to counter it. Unfortunately for Fire Types, Garchomp and its counters both happened to counter fire types.

    Nah, Zapdos is anti-metagame. Blame the overuse of EQ, Water, Steel and Fighting moves. If this was D/P again, except Zapdos got Heatwave he wouldn't be as useful.

    This "pandemic" is just a hypochondriac thing. There's really little to no difference between the Swine Flu and a regular Flu. People are dying in Mexico because they lack adequate health care!

    RestTalk is best on water types because of their lack of weaknesses, but is best on Suicune. I've never seen Refresh on a Pokemon not named Wondertomb/eye.

    Will you add a feature to create pokemon like Emodisc with ease? I've always wanted to experiement with an uber-qualified Lucario (maybe 10 additional stat points in each category?)

    Here's the ultimate arguement for water types. There are 7 Great water types in the OU metagame which consists of 49 Pokemon. Why is water so great? 1) Lack of grass moves. 99% of the time if a Pokemon uses a grass move its going to be an unSTABbed Grass knot. Very few Pokemon learn Grass Knot. There's probably only around 5 on OU that do. 2) Lack of physical electric moves. The strongest physical electric move you'll see is an unSTABbed Thunder Punch. Water types with naturally high defense can shrug this off and heal the damage. 3) Most of the water types have high special defense. The most common anti-water move is a special attack. This is why for a long time Suicune was "OMG NO WEAK!" because of Calm Mind. Sure you could use thunderpunch, but with 100 HP and 115 defense you're only laughing at yourself. Water types are fearful and powerful. There are 7 OU waters. There are only 2 OU Fires. You can blame water, rock and ground for that.

    I declare a Mod fight. Also, Vaporeon, Suicune, Swampert and Tentacruel are tanks. They have high defenses and can heal themselves. They are not the same though, as some learn moves the others do not. Gyarados, Starmie and Kingdra are sweepers, Gyarados and Kingdra being more of bulky sweepers.
