  1. No. The title directly translates as "To the Space-Time of Conquer{ing}/Overcome{ing}" or "To the Conquer{ing}/Overcome{ing}['s] Space-Time", not as "Conquering of Space-Time" or "Space-Time's Conquering". Just like "Gracidea no Hana" translates as "Flower of Gracidea" or "Gracidea['s] Flower", and not as "Gracidea of Flower" or "Flower's Gracidea".
  2. After some research, I keep getting different answers to this: What exactly activates Mirage Island? I've heard from multiple different sources that it's either your party pokemon's PID, TID, or SID.
  3. Request: Can you change the activation buttons for the "Crazy Zoom" code in D/P to: Select+Up/Down: Zoom In/Out Select+Left/Right: Rotate Left/Right Select+A/B: Rotate Up/Down This is because my flashcard requires you to press L+R+Start to turn on AR codes, and because of this, all codes that require you to press L, R, or Start to activate them don't work. I think all you need to do is change is the top row that says "94000130 FCFF0000" or whatever. Thanks.
  4. No. Some legendary pokemon will reappear after being defeated. Darkrai is one of them.
  5. Yes there is, by abuse of the RNG and a LOT of patience. Emerald's RNG starts at zero every time you soft reset due to a glitch, so it can be manipulated very easily. Simply get a Pokemon that knows Sweet Scent and go into the Desert Underpass. Save there. Then get a stopwatch, and start it at the EXACT same time you soft reset. Now for the very hard part: Let the game sit there, and time it so that you use Sweet Scent so that (right before the screen turns pink) the Sweet Scent pokemon's cry ends EXACTLY 176562491 frames after you soft resetted. That is about 34 days straight, 24 hours a day, of waiting, with the game on (preferably on a DS with the charger in). If the timing was frame perfect, you will encounter a perfect IVed Ditto with a Timid nature, guarenteed. If you are even 1 frame off, you will have to soft reset and wait 34 more days again. If you don't need perfect 31 IVs, you can instead wait exactly 15270544 frames, or about 70.6 hours, for a Serious natured Ditto with IVs 30/31/30/31/30/31. (Speed IV is last)
  6. if the parents are from different countries, the 50% chance does not apply.
  7. What kind of ridiculous PID type? Just wondering. I'm not familiar with PID/IV correlation except with regular Wild Pokemon.

    Mew Glitch

Yes, Nintendo purposely put it there this time as an easter egg. And yes, there is a Lava Cookie there, presumably as another easter egg.
  9. No, there's no traces whatsoever on it. Don't worry. (btw, what's OCD?)

    Mew Glitch

Morals depend on the person in question. By definition it's legit, but some people might not think that way. And the "infinite" HP glitch isn't the negative EXP glitch, it's just a stat calculation glitch (since pokemon aren't supposed to be over Lv100).
  11. EZ Flash V+. Used to have a (fake? don't know) R4 that I gave to my friend. It's very annoying because it doesn't support AR codes involving button presses, which are most of the codes I used on my R4.
  12. With the new DSi, Pal Park is impossible. So are some dongle-only pokemon.

    Mew Glitch

Here's a LOT of notes about the glitch: - You only step down one step before the Gambler notices you. A much much easier way to push start is to press down, then while your person is taking the step, press and hold start. - Mew's index number is 21, corresponding to that Youngster's Slowpoke's Special stat. You can get any pokemon with this glitch by getting a pokemon yourself with the right special, and instead of battling the Youngster, fight any other trainer (you must fight a trainer), then battle a wild Ditto and make it transform into the pokemon with the right special. Now faint it and continue with the glitch. Unfortunately this trick can only be done as many times as there are trainers in the game. I think there was some trick involving a PC Box and the Elite Four to do this glitch unlimited times, but I can't remember it. - The easiest trainer to fly away from for this glitch in the trainer in the grass west of Nugget Bridge. He's easy to avoid fighting, and he also happens to be the first possible trainer in the game to use this trick for (so you can do this glitch before the second badge). Abra's Teleport can be used instead of Fly. - The first swimmer in Misty's Gym also has a pokemon with a Special of 21, so you can use that trainer too. - Another trainer you can do the glitch with is the Lass with a Bellsprout on the first floor of Mt. Moon, generating a Lv7 Gyarados that knows Dragon Rage and Hydro Pump. This is useful for speedruns. However, to do this, you must have an Escape Rope and use that instead of Fly against the Rocket Grunt below the first ladder you see in Mt. Moon. Also, you need to get from the Lass on the first floor to the basement without encountering any wild pokemon. Without any Repels, this can be annoying and difficult. - Another notable trainer is Misty herself, generating a Lv7 Missingno., the earliest possible Missingno encounter. You can get 127 Rare Candies and 127 Nuggets quite early this way. - Make sure the trainer you're battling after flying away walks up to you. If you go right in front of him or talk to him to battle, the game will freeze for some reason. However, if you fight another trainer beforehand, the game won't freeze. You must do this to do the glitch with Misty. - Never return to the area where you flew/teleported/dug/escape-roped away from the trainer. This may cause strange unfixable glitches on the game. Just don't do it. - The encountered pokemon, usually Level 7, is based on the attack modifier of the pokemon with the right Special. Using Growl on the pokemon with the right Special lowers the level of the encountered pokemon by one. Using six Growls gets the encountered pokemon to Level 1. Certain Pokemon with a specific experience formula, Mew being one of them, have a glitch that causes them to have negative EXP at Level 1, which the game reads as over 16 million EXP. If a Lv1 Mew gains less than 50 EXP from a battle, the EXP remains negative, becomes calculated as over 16 million, and it jumps to Level 100. (If Mew gains more than 50 EXP, the EXP will no longer be negative, and it will go normally to Level 2.) - Never deposit a Pokemon with "negative" EXP. This includes Lv0 ##'M## encountered through the Old Man Glitch. When trying to withdraw it, the game gets "confused" when trying to calculate out 16 million EXP as mentioned, and will freeze, making it stuck in the PC forever. (That was a very long post... O_o)
  14. I believe that e-cards were used to battle certain "special" trainers in R/S, and to get enigma berries. There were two berries that had unique effects: one cured attraction, and another (japan only) raised a stat instead of lowering it (like if you were holding it, and the opponent used growl, you would eat the berry and your attack would raise instead). In Japan, the e-reader was also compatible with FR/LG/E and Colosseum. They were used to battle special trainers, change the trainers in the trainer tower/trainer hill, and change the wild pokemon in altering cave. The room where you could battle special trainers was blocked off in all non-Japanese versions of FR/LG/E. Some people say that all event tickets in Japan were distributed as e-cards, but I'm pretty sure only the Eon Ticket was released, and the rest were simple wireless distributions.
  15. Thanks a lot kazumi213! Do you know if loading wondercards (PCDs and PGTs) into a save file leaves traces? How about converting a wondercard into an AR code and using that?
  16. What does leave traces then? This is what I currently do every time I need to "trade" a Pokemon: - Open Platinum save in Pokesav, save the traded Pokemon as a PKM, then delete the pokemon from the box. - Open Diamond save in Pokesav, load the PKM into a box. - Open Diamond save in DSPokeEdit, and add required Pokedex data and increase "Number of Link Trades" by 1.
  17. Thanks. What exactly is "far from perfect" in ARDS output for Platinum? As long as I can use AR codes to put Pokemon in boxes and create wondercards, I'm fine.
  18. How? Also, I'm using an EZ Flash V+ flashcard, so Pokesaved AR codes won't work for me, as they require button presses (L+R) to work. (For some reason, all AR codes involving button presses don't work on an EZV+). A few more questions: Does no$gba support ARDS codes? If I make an egg PKM file with pokesav (just for the pokedex info), convert it into an AR code, and use it in the game, will it leave traces?
  19. My post seemed to be deleted earlier, but it wasn't on the Official PokeMod Feature List, so... Does this include fixing traces left previously by Pokesav or DSPokeEdit?
  20. Hi Chase-san, What happened to the program you were working on to convert pokemon from RBYGSC to D/P?
  21. My main problem is that I want to trade between my Diamond and Platinum ROMs, but I don't have a second DS, don't have the money to get one, don't know anyone who has a DS, and don't have Wi-Fi. Also, I want to have a FULLY 100% legal save file, so I don't want Pokesav traces. Originally I used Pokesav to transfer PKM files between my two saves, but now that I found that they leave traces, I don't want to do that. Also, I wanted to use no$gba to trade, but then I realized that it doesn't support DS to DS linking. Right now it seems like my only solution is to restart my game (which I'm perfectly willing to do) and stop playing Pokemon until PokeMod comes out, then use that. Another solution would be if PokeMod can fix any previously existing traces. This would be the best solution for me, since I could continue playing without worrying about traces, then fix them when PokeMod comes out. Any other suggestions?
  22. The algorithm "mumbo jumbo" does not apply to hatched pokemon, so everything is fine when using Generate. Hatched pokemon do not have any relationship between PID and IVs.
  23. I posted this a while ago, and it doesn't seem to have any response, so: Also, you said that DSPokeEdit and Pokesav do leave detectable traces on the save file, but PokeMod won't. Will PokeMod be able to remove currently existing traces from a previous Pokesav edit?
