Do you know of any AR codes that actually allow obtaining of the Wondercard and getting the ticket from the man in the Pokemon Center (the way that they would have legitimately been obtained)?

Could you explain it please?

Just to make sure I understand this: The HP IV is copied normally. The Attack IV is copied normally, BUT if it's above 7, it will go down to 7. All other IVs are set to zero. Is this right?

Oops, I meant they stopped before Emerald came out.

Yes they do, I can arrange items in my bag with Select and use Start to advance the title screen. I'm using no$gba v2.6a by the way, does that matter?

Speaking of Crazy Zoom v1.2, I can't get the code to work on my US Diamond version. Cheat codes like 100% Pokeball catch rate work, but the Crazy Zoom one doesn't. Any idea why? (And I'm sure my L and R buttons work, because I can scroll through PC boxes with them.)

Full instruction videos on how to get Darkrai and Shaymin through the Tweaking Glitch. Note that this does not work in Platinum.

This is a bug in the GTS. (Don't know if it works in Platinum.) If you deposit a trade-evolve pokemon in the GTS (holding an item if needed), then make a completed GTS trade, then take the trade-evolve pokemon back, it will evolve as if traded.

How do you think the Jaboca Berry will be distributed outside of Japan? It's the only event berry that wasn't distributed with a movie pokemon.

Oh, so a Shaymin from Flower Paradise in Platinum is auto-set to a fateful encounter flag? Thanks. EDIT: Can someone check to see if Platinum Darkrai and Arceus from Newmoon Island and Hall of Origin are also auto-set to fateful encounter? Also, another question: If the NZ Jirachi unlocks the new area in the PokeWalker, doesn't that mean that any fateful encounter Jirachi (like Colosseum Bonus Disk) would also unlock it?

In Platinum and HG/SS, there are some events that can only be activated by having a special Nintendo Event Pokemon with you. The game identifies them as Event Pokemon because of their "fateful encounter" flag. Question: Since the Gracidea only works on "fateful encounter" Shaymin, doesn't that mean that the Shaymin obtained using Oak's Letter will not be able to transform?

Pokemon Platinum - Survival Area Rival upgrade?

Unlock 2nd phase by beating E4 10 times Unlock 3rd phase by beating E4 20 times You can't go beyond 3rd phase. 7 Pokemon are listed because he will not have Roserade/Floatzel/Rapidash if he has the starter of the same type. So if he has Empoleon he will not have Floatzel, etc. -
Question: Is an AuroraTicket possible to obtain on a US copy of Emerald? I know they were possible on European copies because you could send them in to Nintendo, but I don't think there was anything like this for the US. Also as far as I know the distribution of AuroraTickets in the US stopped before Emerald came out.

I've looked in several different places, and most of them have many different answers to this question: What causes Mirage Island to appear? All websites I've found say that Mirage Island generates a random number between 0 and 65535, but there are inconsistencies between what this number has to match. I've seen: - It has to match Trainer ID - It has to match Secret ID - It has to match PID - It has to match the first half of PID - It has to match the second half of PID The first two would mean that you have to trade a LOT to get the best chances of finding Mirage Island. The third one doesn't really make sense, since only 1 in 65536 pokemon would be able to activate it. The last two probably make the most sense, but which one is it? I've never found a definite answer to this for years.

You can get this event from anywhere in the world with Wi-Fi Connection, but you must have a Japanese D/P/P game. -

(btw, Liechi Berry is misspelled in the article) -
@That Pokemon Guy: Does that mean that if you only have pokemon with a PID of more than 65536, Mirage Island will never appear? Or is the check based on the first/second half of the PID?

In G/S, there is a very long period of time between when the game writes and saves the PC data, and when it writes and saves the party data. In Crystal, this time period is much much shorter. In G/S, you can shut it off anytime between "SAVING..." (after the three periods) and before the period in "POWER." In Crystal, you have about 0.1 second or so. You must shut it off just as the period in "POWER." appears. So basically, it does work in Crystal, but it's much harder to do.

speculation Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Speculation Thread
Zowayix replied to Guested's topic in Generation 4
All cartridge games have to be a power of 2 in MB because of the way the cartridges are designed. For DS games, that can be 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, or 256 megabytes. Perhaps D/P took up like 60 MB, but Platinum took up something like 70 MB, so they have to make it 128. -

speculation Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Speculation Thread
Zowayix replied to Guested's topic in Generation 4
Actually, in RBYGSC there were still stat caps at 63 above maximum. But you could max all five stats at +63 instead of just two stats with the 252/252/4 spread. (If you are wondering, Stat Exp in RBYGSC maxed out at 65535 per stat. Vitamins gave 2560 Stat Exp, having no effect past 25600 Stat Exp. When you defeated a Pokemon, you would get Stat Exp equal to the defeated Pokemon's Base Stats, so defeating a wild Mew would give 100 Stat Exp in all stats. To convert Stat Exp to actual stat points, take the square root of the Stat Exp number, and divide by 4. So 25600 Stat Exp equals 40 EVs.) -
Falkner should have levels 12, 13, and 14 I think because no first Gym Leader has ever gotten above 14.

I'm pretty sure that the Skateboard and the Sept. 11 release date has been confirmed as fake.
