    Worth a bump attempt. No one really knows how to add new characters? I've seen some crazy language projects before. I've searched on my own but no good results.

    Hello. I've been considering translating a game for a while now (not quite sure which one yet, perhaps a GBA one to keep things simple?) to help practice the language as a personal project. My problem is, the language has some special characters, (ĈĜĤĴŜŬ) so I'm wondering how to do it or if anyone knows of a guide for this? Thanks.

    Well, these designs are a little surprising, but they look nicer to me than 4th gen's. Pretty pleased overall. Especially considering I like reptiles and pigs, while hate penguins and monkeys. Kinda think they should've done something different with the pig's eyes though. Make it look a little cuter or something, although the current eyes are okay.I don't really like the water type... Not for me at all, and reminds me of 4th gen's style. I'm leaning closer to choosing the grass one but I'm still not completely sure which one will end up being my main out of the two, considering I'll most likely end up getting both games. I'll have to wait and see the final forms to make sure. Just hope they don't look bad when fully evolved, and that the otter will also look good. So I have a reason to choose it if/when they come out with a third version of 5th gen. ;P

    Would an easier solution just be making the current Pearl .sav look like the old one to trick PBR into giving your Pokémon back? I really don't know if it'd be that easy or not.

    MSN. It's the first one I've used and I've stuck with it. I also like the Plus! features and the amount of customization. I also use Trillian (free version) on the side for my friends who use AIM... It's file sending feature is pretty bad though. I tried to stick with only Trillian but I couldn't get away from MSN.

    Some people just need some mixture of inspiration and motivation. I'd like to get into writing, but... I doubt I ever will.

    I choose Lugia... Probably mostly because of Pokémon 2000. I've always seen Lugia as a sort of dragon-bird cross... The seemingly beakless face, the tail... Especially with the living under water thing... Why does a giant bipedal reptile that breathes fire and only comes out to fight three headed dragons and giant moths live underwater near Japan, for that matter? Must be a Japan thing. Lugia seems more majestic than Ho-oh because of his sleakness, and hey, it can be pink. Can't beat that. And er... The spines might be like barbels in catfish? But the psychic equivalent? Haha, really can't think of a purpose besides of aesthetic reasons, but better than nothing.

    Right now there I doubt there's much of a need for one... Barely enough drawn/etc art posted, let alone literature. I love reading and such though, so I wouldn't mind if there started being a need for one.

O_o Movies: Spirited Away My Neighbor Totoro Kiki's Delivery Service Laputa/Castle in the Sky Nausicaa How's Moving Castle ... Is Apple Seed an anime? O_o Used to watch some Inuyasha but got bored of it... Need to finish Wolf's Rain, DearS, Tsubasa Chronicles, and some others I can't remember right now. X_x

    I think it also has something to do with Ambertwo. I don't think it was turning Ash to stone that did anything, but the fact that the tears held life probably subconsciously reminded him of her... Or something. And I don't think it was so much taking over the world as trying to free Pokémon from being used. But I dunno, haven't watched it in a while. ><

    I might be able to come up with ideas and draw them but I won't be able to turn them into sprites.

    I think I stopped watching it after Johto. I don't really remember watching many episodes with 3rd gen Pokémon or May. Probably stopped early in Hoenn.

    Yeah, I know planes would... probably never reach speeds high enough to affect time, but it was just an example from something I saw on TV. It would make things interesting though, if it worked.

    Hmm. My favourites have changed... Went from Jolteon, to Vaporeon, to Espeon... Kinda Umbreon too. If I had to choose from all of them I'd probably go with Espeon since it's a psychic type.

    Yeah, hah. Sorry if my post payed too much attention to that. I blame lack of sleep. But you're basically saying that at least part of the reason a girl would get the game without previous knowledge of it is purely because the character has cool clothing. I guess it IS a cultural barrier thing... It doesn't really make sense to me. I know the importance of keeping their looks updated, but... Either that, or my inability to understand the stereotypical female mind. X_x Waaaaaait. You said there was a hair colour change in a male? I don't see one, unless you mean black to brown... The older hair looks kinda brown tinged though.

    While they might change the clothing to be more "updated", I really doubt a typical female reaction when buying Pokémon games is "Ew, this girl's clothing is, like, ohmaigawd, soooo ugly. I can't be caught playing a character with such hideous fashion sense. Def not a buy." xP While there might be a hate-club, I doubt it's REALLY going to affect female Pokémon fans from buying it. As stated, the focus is on the monsters in the balls beating each other up, and underneath it, the storyline...Which I don't think many people pay too much attention to. There isn't anything focusing on changing clothing in the game, so it shouldn't be a factor in buying... It might turn off NEW fans of the series, but typically, new fans are children and don't have much care for fashion as they might when older. On topic though... I can tell she's based on Kris, and that there are a few similarities... But there are a lot of differences. They don't even have the same basic colour designs. Not just the whole blue hair thing, but the clothing too. I'm going to assume this is most likely not Kris until we get some more confirmation. If the rival keeps his red hair, then Kris probably would keep her blue hair. I also honestly don't really care what the character looks like... I didn't even notice the "ugliness" until I had it mentioned to me. Her look doesn't exactly appeal to me, but I guess she's kind of cute in a weird way. It won't affect my gaming at all.

    Even if I wanted to classify myself into one, I wouldn't be able to. I don't think I classify fully as a geek, or a nerd. And I don't think I play games enough for me to be a "gamer". I'm... Pink?
