  1. I'm bad at choosing one, so I'll list a few. Although I had originally chosen Totodile when I played my first Pokémon game, Crystal, I soon restarted at the third or so gym and chose Cyndaquil. So for me too, my favourites are Quilava, then Typhlosion. Blaziken looks nice and pwned through Ruby for me, so I grew attached to that particular one, but I don't like his design too much in comparison to the other fire types... 1. Quilava 2. Typhlosion 3. Shiny Ninetales 4. Entei (Mostly because I got attached to him from that movie he was in.)
  2. Maybe have something that is a Mixed Sweeper. Like Infernape or Blaziken. Helps you not get stuck with walls or something with an ability like Arena Trap.
  3. Of course seals help personalize the balls, but some people like certain Pokéballs themselves. I actually don't usually use seals too much. I might for my main team, but the only universal thing I do is colour code caught Pokémon with the balls I use to capture them.
  4. As stated, some people like the challenge of catching legends in Pokéballs. It shows more "dedication" and entitles the person to more bragging rights. Doesn't it seem cooler to catch an Arceus in a Pokéball than just in a Masterball? Anyone could do that. Personally, I want an Arceus in a Premierball with a Mind Plate. It isn't always just about catching the Pokémon itself. Some people just like to personalize, if not, everyone would say Dusk, Ultra, and Masterballs and there would be no point to this thread. Lol On topic, though. I don't think I have anything I use more in particular. I try to use whatever matches the Pokémon's colour scheme. (In normal gameplay, when I'm just trying to catch it. Probably whatever is the strongest ball I have on me. Like an Ultra. Maybe a Masterball if I haxed them and I'm in a hurry.) I remember once when I was trying to help a friend catch a Heatran. I tried the Pokéballs for the lulz since he came unprepared and was running out of Ultraballs. Eventually, I had to try a Diveball. It actually worked. It was so hilarious.
  5. I linked to that page to show that it's stretched horizontally. Is it that it's not stretched horizontally on your monitor? I wouldn't know why else you thought I meant vertically. Edit: Late post. ;;
  6. It actually maxes out at 40. Unless those were just typos.
  7. Kinda sucks that it's already at level 100 though.
  8. This is kinda hard. Might not be in exact order. 1. Zigzagoon 2. Gardevoir 3. Alakazam 4. Mewtwo 5. Suicune. [With Origin Form Giratina and Rayquaza coming close. And Typhlosion/Quilava.]
  9. I didn't really like any of the starters for this gen, but I chose Turtwig because Grotle reminds me of Spike from those Land Before Time movies I used to watch when younger. I think it ended up being a good choice. Although he's slow, he's good defensively, so it didn't matter if he got hit first most of the time. And his high attack stat came in handy, particularly with all those caves filled with rock types and all the water types you have to battle. (Fishermen, Surfing, etc) If you want to speed through the game with a starter though, I think Chimchar would probably be more useful. Especially in D/P, where he's one of two fire types before the National Dex.
