Hi Transferred a few Mons from Gen 4 through Gen 5 to Gen 6. They‘re all breeded and been transferred through PkHex (it says PokeTransporter in the Met Location). When I want to change the Pokeball from Normal to Ultra Ball, it says: Invalid encounter type for ball Is there a general rule for how Balls are being considered legal when transferred between generations? Thanks for any input. If needed I can provide a further example.

Hello everyone! Okay, I get this might sound a bit weird and it might be a longshot, but here's what's up (I think I've seen this topic discussed here before? Not 100% sure, but it has to). A while ago I found my copy of Pokemon Emerald from 10+ years ago. So, as most of us would do, I continued where I left off back then (Battle Frontier, Dex, gold trainer card, etc). After I was done, of course I wanted my old pals with me, so using PKHex and sysbots, I managed to transfer most of them to current generations to find me. However, BDSP and PLA are.... difficult regarding transfer data, so pokemon exclusive to them have their data all messed up once transfered to Home. My question is, does anybody have a few minutes to spare, to let me send them the files of the three 'mons that remain so they can dump them in a gen 6/7 game and migrate them through Bank to my Home account to meet up with their buddies? I don't own a 3DS, much less a hacked one, and all the games I had as a child have disappeared, barring Emerald. I would really appreciate the help! Thanks a lot in advance!

I'd like to know what's the best way to transfer my Pkm (I have VC Gen1-2 legit .cias, Gen3 .GBA roms converted into .cias, Gen4-5 .nds roms and Gen6-7 .3ds converted into .cias // that's the best way or can and should play them in .3ds?) from any gen to any gen using PkHex (or maybe Pksm?). Any uselful guide explaining how to do it? Thanks.

So I transferred *saves* from Citra to Checkpoint, so that I could restore it to the original cartridge. However, I couldn't help but notice the "extdata" folder which I have 0 knowledge about. Could anybody explain what this folder does/if its important?

Hi all, This is my first post and I really need help. I started a Platinum playthrough on my computer which I enjoyed more than my original. As such, I want to transfer the data from DesMuMe to my original NDS cartridge using 3ds homebrew (Checkpoint). Although I'm fairly new to this type of stuff, I read a few guides and got the homebrew launching successfully,; however, something went wrong when I restored the new .sav on Checkpoint... Whenever I boot the game cart, all I can see is a black screen which lasts for about a minute before reloading the 3ds menu. I tried restoring the original .sav, but I still get the same crash. So here's my question: 1) Can my Pokemon Platinum cart be restored original functionality? How? 2) How do I transfer my DesMuMe save to the DS gamecart? All saves work on DesMuMe when I import them. I used the Export backup save function to convert the .dsv to .sav (RAW and NO$GBA), but I'm not sure if these files need formatting before restoring them to the original cart. Anyway, I'm more concerned that my Platinum is permanently broken... Please help me out.

These are a few pokemon I've cooked up to load onto Ultra Sun, then transfer to Pokemon Home. It's a strange assemblage I'll admit. In any case, I thought somebody might find them interesting. I've thrown as many ribbons as I could on them, since that actually does something on Sw/Sh. You're welcome, and SOLIDARITY FOREVER-

As I've no access to a 3DS currently, (otherwise I'd love to figure out the process here), I'm hoping some kind soul with a bit of extra time (and a 3DS with homebrew?) might be able to help! What I *do* have access to is a Mac with pkhex, a DSi XL and an R4 card with pkmnchest, so if I were to receive a new gen5 save file, or simply a pk5 file, I should be able to take it from there! I've only got 2 shiny pkmn in my Crystal sav file (attached, via emulation and extraction from R4 card) and I hunted them for quite a long time, so the emotional attachment is silly but real. They are Quilava and Smoochum, aptly named "Starshine" and "Sugababe," respectively... I believe the next step would be to inject the sav into a virtual console rom, then utilize the poketransfer app(?), Pokemon bank(?), OR a homebrew app (of which I'm blanking on the name) to transfer / convert for compatibility into a gen5 save file or pk5 file. MOST IMPORTANTLY I'm looking for the most direct and legitimate route that wouldn't involve manually adjusting any of their stats, and instead being able to see what natures, abilities, IVs etc come out on the other end. Thus, why I'm not really interested in manipulating them in any fashion via pkhex or other apps. Massive love to anyone willing to help! Nearly a year ago, I asked for help in obtaining data of party Pokémon from Pokémon Battle Revolution. Then I got distracted by other stuff and this fell by the wayside. I've returned, wondering whether or not I should copy the data of my lost Pokémon to the Gen IV game they originated or put them in the most recent game possible. Say, when Pokémon are transferred through generations, do they pick up, er, markers detailing where they've been?

Hello, I dont have the equipment to use PKHeX and transfer a Pokemon to a file (Such as one on a computer) To the actual Pokemon game. I need a Snivy in the game that somebody wasn't able to breed for and I need the file transfered to the game so I could have it in my personal collection and have it in a box and such. I am new here so I dont know how to do this stuff and dont know how to Gen and stuff. I attached the file of the Pokemon below and would love that in the game and such, either you teach me how to do it, or you could do it and trade it to me if you can. Thanks for reading and such. 495 - Egg - AFC500000000 Main Snivy Save Update NUMBER1.pk7

I'm playing the Platinum game through an emulator program (DeSmuME 0.98) because I don't own any handheld devices. Although the program generally performs well, it's frustrating to know that I'll never be able to use or enter Pal Park in-game; simulating a transfer from Gen3 is impossible because no emulator can simulate a GBA and an NDS running at the same time. :-( If I could buy (or even borrow) two real handhelds, I would transfer my Gen3 Pokémon that way. Since I can't, though... is there an editor which could simulate the Pal Park transfer and have Platinum acknowledge the results? If software like that exists for Windows, I'd be happy to give it a shot.

Hello everyone. I need some help into transfering Pokémon from Diamond into my Emerald. Why? Because I transfered they as a kid, but I want they back, I still have both games without new game and it would be amazing to see they back into Hoenn. I know that officially isn't possible to transfer backwards, but since days ago I know that is possible doing this: This is from @BlackShark, from this threat: I don't know if anyone can do a program to do this, or a little guide step by step with images, I tried to do this by myself but I wasn't capable to convert the files. If anyone wants to test, I leave there both saves and one Pokémon that I want to transfer. 260 - SWAMPERT - 6C2404D6D618.pk4 Pokemon - Edicion Esmeralda (Spain).sav POKEMON D.2.sav

Hi all, I completed SoulSilver on an emulator and was wondering if someone could Wi-Fi trade my team to my Platinum, which I have physically. I saved my team and edited the stats of them to suit the progress I have in Platinum right now. My FC is 3180 5698 0478 Thanks. PKM Files.zip

What it says on the tin. ...err, title. I have 6 pre-made .pkm files that I need to have traded over, preferrably sometime soon. My friend code is in my sig, and the .pkm files... [Download Link (.zip)] Although I get the odd feeling that my request would be more likely fulfilled had I asked the Pokemon be made as well, instead of doing it myself...

Hey all, I have a bunch of Pokémon I want to transfer from Leaf Green To X. Unfortunately there's no way to do this directly, so I have to transfer them from Pokémon Leaf Green, to Soul Silver, to Black, to X. The problem is that I don't have a version of Pokëmon Generation V (I do have all the other generations). I can get a DS ROM cart from a friend and put a Pokémon Black ROM on there, with a savegame that I downloaded, so that I don't have to play through the entire game first before I can transfer my Pokémon. I would like to know if there is any downside to transferring the Pokémon via a DS ROM. In other words, will my Pokémon's stats, description, and the owner information remain the same if I transfer it via a ROM? Is there a chance that the Pokémon will be perceived as illegal or hacked if I import them? Can I be banned by Nintendo from the trade network? I don't really mind spending money on the DS game, but I don't want to spend 40+ hours playing just to transfer my Pokémon from an older game (I have a couple of shinies that I really want to use). Thank you for your help! RD

Pokemon Battle Revolutin: Few Questions + Plea for Help
Aizea posted a topic in Saves - Editing Help
Greetings, I'm new here, and was drawn because I believe someone here can help me. I'm going to be getting a copy of PBR from a friend in a few weeks, and I'm trying to work out a way to transfer all my pokemon from Diamond, into a PBR save to use. There are saves online, but mostly the ones I've seen have beaten most of the game content. And there is just no fun in that. First my questions: A) In the Storage, how many Pokemon does it hold? Is it the same as the Diamond PC? If not, a numerical value would be helpful. B) Once my Pokemon are uploaded into Storage, I can freely use them without a Wi-Fi or NDS connection present? Now for the plea. I can manage to get my Diamond save file on the PC and sent to you. What I need is for a person that can take my save file, cross-load it onto their copy of Diamond (after backing up their own save of course). Then sending my Pokemon into a BLANK Pokemon Battle Revolution save. I do not want any starting items, free money, hacked items, any of the Colosseum's beaten. All I want is a fresh save file of PBR, using whichever rental ticket you want to take, with the Storage packed full of my Diamond Pokemon. After you load my Pokemon onto the PBR save, I have an SD card I can hook to my PC in order to put it into the Wii System Memory, so I can use it. This is a one-time request. After I get the Wii save, I will use codes to modify the Pokemon in Storage, to apply updates and the like when necessary. I don't want to bother anyone about repeatedly uploading saves for me. I'd really appreciate some help on this. From all I've heard, you only get 6 different Rental passes, with pre-selected Pokemon. And that is just TERRIBLE in my view. It makes the game nearly worthless without having the NDS games, which I suppose was the developer's plan to encourage people to buy them. Anyways, the Diamond save won't be ready for a few weeks. I just thought I would join this Pokemon community and see whether anyone here would be willing to help me.- 7 replies

I am new to this, and I searched for answers to my questions, but I only found partial answers. From what I gathered I can use Pokecheck to transfer pokemon from my fourth generation game (soul silver in this case) to a fifth generation game and they will be more or less legit. My question that remains isn't so much how, since I can search for that, or use the directions, my question is how easy is this process, and is it a process that allows me to transfer mass amounts of pokemon? For example, I have 167 different pokemon in SS, not including multiples and I plan on completing Soul Silver as much as possible. Once I finished I was planning on playing White, but I am curious how I will most efficiently be able to transfer all my hard earned critters. Also, can you dumb the answer down a little if its a bit technical, again I am new to these programs that would possibly be involved. That being said, picking up a pokemone game for the first time in 10 years has been awesome!! I love the games as much as i did when i was 13.
