If you want to mix every Pokémon type, you've come to the right place! Presenting Pokémon Colosseum and XD: Type Mayhem, a hack that gives 540 stat total to every Pokémon and mixes every type to make combinations that are not even present in the current Pokémon games! That means that most Pokémon got new move sets, some even got a new color to match their new type! Some type matchups have been changed, and I even introduce a new typing: Dancer type! Trailer Features -New type matchups and a new type. -Every Pokémon have the same stat base total. -Rebalanced moves, types and movesets. Drill Run added (single target Ground attack). -Different Shadow Pokémon, making enphasis in the ones with most changes. -All trainers are changed, specially bosses. Bosses on XD only have one Shadow Pokémon. -Colosseum's Battle Mode has been completely changed, with trainers adapted to make use of the new type combinations. You can use a save editor to transfer Pokémon from XD to Colosseum and to make your team exactly level 50 and 100. - *.xdelta file and the software needed to path your iso. Changes You can read all the changes here. Documentation is also in the download. Here are some of the biggest ones: Known bugs: -The Eldes fight is bugged. He clones his Shadow Pokémon. -CD Battles will probably not work well because of all the changes. Check out my other hacks:

  6. So, after a very long development period, I'm happy to release my Pokemon XD Randomizer! I've released two version actually. One automatically tries to sync health while the other requires user input. Both have their advantages. With User Input, just press the 1 button whenever a pokemon in the top most slot pops out, and two for when one in the bottom does. The Automated version automatically syncs health values, but sometimes at the cost of losing randomization and sometimes doesn't even get the health right(so, choose the level of functionality you want here) The program takes the Operating System Time and based on that randomly generates Pokemon! Credits: First and foremost, I'd like to thank both God and his son Jesus Christ for giving me the knowledge and patience to make this trainer. Reclaimer Shawn = Programming, Form Designing, Address Finding Dark Byte = Bypassing Memory Protection Zanzer = RNG & Programming StarsMmd = For Disabling the Colosseum Shiny Pokemon Glitch & Address Finding Cooleko = HotKey Function Nintendo = For Creating the Pokemon Franchise Dolphin = For Creating the Emulator this game was played on The program allows you to choose if you want randomly generated shadow pokemon or not, as well as none at all. I will be adding scaleable difficulty in the future. Any kinks in the program have to do with the update rate of the game. It gets things literally within 1/1000th of a second at times... For the most part, it should act fine, but please report how things work in-game(preferably a new campaign) Also, make sure that you start the game with Level 100 Pokemon. You WILL NOT survive without that! Other than that, enjoy! Also, if the HP isn't full when the pokemon spawns, just press the corresponding sync buttons. Also, pokemon are only made randomly shadow depending on the drop down box if the randomize shadow pokemon is ticked. I would have filled the PC Boxes with all 386 Pokémon...but you only have 8 PC Boxes! I added some useful Pokémon into boxes 7 and 8 though. 750 the most important items are in your bag. Pokémon XD: Save 1: Beginning: Michael has once again proven his superior tactical skills in another Pokémon Battle Simulation, in which he defeated Battle Coach Losten's Metagross with a Salamence. Losten thinks it's time for Michael to gather more Pokémon, than just his Eevee. On television, Michael saw an ONBS news report, in which the Captain and one Crewmember of the S. S. Libra claim, that it was stolen by 4 Helicopters and a mysterious Pokémon just off the Coast of Gateon Port. Michael's mother Lily cannot seem to find Jovi, Michael's Sister. Anon was playing hide-and-seek with her. He thinks she may have gone to Dr. Kaminko's Manor... Save 2: Rescue!: Michael has saved Professor Krane, but must now escape the Cipher Lab. Cipher Admin Lovrina is still somewhere in the base... Save 3: ONBS Attack! The Orre News Broadcasting Studio, run by the children the Under who helped Wes 5 years earlier against Team Cipher are now under attack by Team Cipher! Michael must save them and get Nett to decipher this Cipher DATA ROM, which was dropped by Researcher & Cipher Tekot during his and Lovrina's Escape! Save 4: S.S. Libra found. Having fought back the Team Cipher Attacks on the ONBS Station and Phenac City, Micheal has traversed the desert and has found.....the S.S. Libra. At least, what used to be the S.S. Libra. The mysterious Shadow Pokémon Team Cipher used was able to lift this vessel out of the water, transport it for miles and destroy it almost entirely. Shaken by this realization, but determined to follow in Wes' footsteps and defeat Team Cipher, Micheal realizes, that he must sift through the wreckage to understand their motives... Save 5: Counterattack!: After the Orre Region has been on the receiving end of Team Ciphers attacks, the opportunity for a counterattack is finally here! Micheal has defeated the remains of Team Snagem, within the ruins of their ancient base, that Wes had rigged to explode 5 years earlier. And now Micheal has begun infiltrating the Cipher Key Lair which is...A Pyramid? Another ancient Colosseum deeply rooted in Orre Tradition? Save 6: Gale of Darkness: In Michael's mind he was preparing for one Battle since the Beginning. He had not been certain, whether it would be one or two. He had prepared to fight and defeat Evice and Nascour. The same way Wes had done. But Wes had wondered, if both of them would be fighting him in one double-battle. This fact was cemented, when Wes fought Gonzap. But that preparation had been in vain as, deep in the Cipher Key Lair a screen flickered on and Michael saw the true Grand Master of Team Cipher. It had been him, a kind old man who had defeated Zook, whom Michael had developed a grudge against. Zook, who had threatened Jovi and had stolen Michael's Snag Machine. And now Michael stood here on the Citadark Isle, facing the kind old man, who was using XD-001. As Wes had caught Ho-Oh, Michael was determined to catch Lugia. (To purify Shadow Lugia, you need all Purification Chambers at max Tempo (not flow)) Save 7: Miror B. Michael must fight against Miror B. to capture the last Shadow Pokémon! Pokémon teams based on: Headcanon Pokémon Teams and Timeline (Useful Batch Editor tips In PKHex go to tools->data->batch editor->copy paste the text below: .OT_Gender= (0 for male; 1 for female) ; .OT_Name= (your name) ; .OT_Friendship=255 ; .IsNicknamed= (true/false) .Language=(1=Japanese, 2=English, 3=French, 4=Italian, 5=German, 6=Spanish, 7=Korean) (be aware of some event Pokémon being of a certain language; mostly English)
  8. This is a collection of a few small Java programs I wrote and have been using to edit some files in Pokemon XD: GoD and I've also recently found out that some of them also work with Pokemon Channel and Colosseum files. They're mainly just more convenient than manually editing the files. Almost all of them have size limits because changing file sizes needs modifications to the game's .toc and FSYS list. GTX to TGA: Converts .gtx files to TGA images, mainly useful to find out what they are I_SF Tool: Inserts/extracts DSP files into/from XD's music FSYS files, the filenames usually begin with "stm_" SAMP Tool: The same as above, uses .samp and .sdir files to extract and insert music samples, can be used to replace sound samples for sequenced music (Colosseum) and soundeffects, Pokemon Channel contains some too LZSS Tool: Inserts/extracts files into/from .fsys files, filenames should not be changed for the insertion to work ModelTextureExtractor/Inserter: Inserts/Extracts textures from model files in the form of .tpl files, the standard offset should usually work for most battle models, the offset needs to be set to 32 for overworld models and maps and to custom ones for some battle models that have particle data before the model Insertion has two options of reducing the palette of a TPL using a palette in case it is too large, though both are quite buggy, it's mostly a last resort option Again, don't change filenames of extracted textures for the insertion to work These should also work for Pokemon Channel's .dat files and Pokemon Colosseum's models MoveTextureExtractor/Inserter: Does the same as the model one, but only works directly on FSYS files, I'm really not sure why I wrote it like this String Table Editor: Just a more convenient way of editing the String tables, just removes the need to manage offsets and so on, top right corner shows all Special characters, adding a single byte can be done with {} too XD THP Tool: Inserts/Exracts THP files from FSYS archives, the filenames usually start with "movie" Download: Here EDIT 22.03.2017: bug fixes to model texture tools
  9. So, I've been using PkHex while doing a really casual play through of Pokemon XD, and I noticed when checking the shadow monitor some of the shadow Pokemon aren't the right species. For example, it says I've snagged a Shadow Blaziken instead of Zangoose. It's kind of hard to explain, so I included my save for reference. I don't know if it's because of me editing the EVs (but not IVs/Nature), me giving myself items, or what else, but I'd like to see if this can be fixed. Thank you for your help. 01-GXXE-PokemonXD_07.gci
  10. The randomiser functionality has been incorporated into Gale of Darkness Tool. This makes it easier to make small tweaks after randomising (e.g. making sure the starters are viable) and to apply patches such as the physical/special split. Available here -> Gale of Darkness Tool

The world's first ever Pokemon XD:GoD hack! Original Topic:
  12. So I have an idea of a heavily story and character driven Ruby (or maybe Fire Red) hack that will feature Ash as the hero and that will feature multiple legendaries, shadow pokemon, and of course... a Pikachu who follows you (as well as Misty and Brock, if possible). The game will be based in a new region known as Genesso. Based shortly after the Sinnoh series, Oak and Rowan will ask Ash to come to the newly discovered region that is supposedly the region where Pokémon first came to be. The main things I need help for is mostly the scripting and stuff like getting Pokémon and people (Misty and Brock) to follow you. I work a lot so I don't really have the time to do everything myself. I have most of the overworld sprites made already. Anyway, it will also feature Jessie, James, and Meowth who will actually become permanent good guys toward the end of the game. Gary will also be making a comeback. Finally, I plan to set up a sort of second series by allowing Ash and Misty to well... fall in love in the game. The second series will be sort of like how Boruto is to Naruto. It will feature Ash and Misty's son as the hero, but none of that will make an appearance in the game. Just lmk if you're interested. Don't really wanna post too much of it upfront in case no one is actually interested haha.

Like Pokemon Red/Blue and Stadium 1/2/3, Pokemon Colosseum and XD have debug trainers used to test many things like New Forms of Deoxys in XD or Pokeballs in Colosseum. Pokemon they used are well ... totally WTF but that's just for debug
  14. Hello! I'm brand new here but I've been using PKHeX for a little while now. I decided to replay both Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD on the Gamecube recently. Upon completion of both, I traded over every single Pokemon from both games into my Emerald game cart. I went and opened it up in PKHeX so I could transfer some easily into my Sun game and noticed a few things regarding the legality checking for Pokemon originating in these games. The mistakes I've found are as follows: According to PKHeX, all Pokemon snagged in Pokemon Colosseum should have a 'Fateful Encounter' flag. If it's missing, it marks the Pokemon saying, "Invalid: Special ingame Fateful Encounter flag missing." This is not correct. Pokemon snagged in Colosseum do not have a fateful encounter flag (Only Pokemon snagged from XD do). The Eevee you get as your starter in Pokemon XD does have a 'Fateful Encounter' flag by default but PKHeX seems to think that it shouldn't, stating, "Invalid: Fateful Encounter should not be checked." Again, this is incorrect and the Eevee starter from XD should in fact have a fateful encounter flag. Similarly, any wild Pokemon encountered at PokeSpots in Pokemon XD do have fateful encounter flags but PKHeX wrongly says they shouldn't. Finally, the Elekid (nicknamed ZAPRONG) you can trade for at the Outskirt Stand in XD states, "Invalid: Invalid Met Level, expected 0." This value should be 20, not 0. New: Female Snorunt caught in XD, transferred to a newer gen, and evolved to Froslass is being marked as illegal. Invalid Moves, Ribbons, and Unable to match encounter from origin game. It seems to not make the connection that a XD Snorunt could potentially be evolved to Froslass later down the line. File added below. All of this data was gathered by me personally. Both games were played through start to finish without any cheats, glitches, or save file editing (Minus the Colosseum Master Ball glitch ). Basically, the data is accurate. I'm not sure how much you guys really care about making sure the legality checking for Colosseum/XD is 100% accurate but I figured I could at least contribute this information. Hopefully it makes it into the next patch! Any further questions, feel free to reply here or send me a message! Hopefully this helps someone! SPECULATION: I believe some of these issues stem from the 'Origin Game' part of the 'Met' tab. Colosseum and XD share an option for Origin Game, when they really should be two separate options. Possible Solution?: Would it be possible for PKHeX to check Pokemon species and 'met level' to determine which game it originated in (Between Colosseum/XD)? Then figure out if there should be a fateful encounter flag present or not based on that? Even though there are some Pokemon available in both games, the met level will never be the same between the two games as every encounter has a set level except for the wild Pokemon in XD. But even those, you can still determine based on species and met level which game they came from. Edit: Examples of each kind of Pokemon are uploaded below. Colosseum Shadow Pokemon: 234 - STANTLER - 76BA9444C749.pk3 XD Starter/Eeveelution: 135 - JOLTEON - 2BCE45382A22.pk3 XD Wild Pokemon: 231 - PHANPY - 712EE213A4D6.pk3 XD Elekid Trade: 239 - ZAPRONG - 2B43457A38A1.pk3 XD Original Snorunt transferred from XD (Legal): 361 - SNORUNT - 36150E9F6D0C.pk3 XD Snorunt transferred into Gen 7 now evolved to Froslass being marked as illegal: 478 - Froslass - 18500E9F6D0C.pk7

    Possible issue

Hey folks, Someone brought this to my attention. The Gale of Darkness Articuno is legal until edited slightly. Simply re rolling the PID makes it illegal. I've attached the legal file. It's not supposed to be locked in any way except for the Michael trainer info. Not sure why it can't be edited or if its a bug with PKHeX Legal XD Articuno.pk7
  16. So, after making my Randomizer program, I'm going to be doing an entire playthrough of it! This should be fun. Video link:
  17. So, I've been working on this for the past 2 weeks now... Enjoy this video:
  18. With my hack of pokemon having recently been released, I've been getting a lot of responses about which pokemon to include/exclude. There aren't any other hacks around to compare with so I'm interested in hearing what others have to say. I made this thread in the hopes that people could share ideas and opinions. If anyone wants to join in the discussion, then I challenge you to come up with a complete set of pokemon for pokemon . You can use the list below from the vanilla game as a template. Feel free to discuss any changes that are assumed to have been implemented for the list to work and explain why you made certain decisions. (for example are you updating the stats and/or typings of any pokemon?) You could also use someone else's list as a basis but suggest a few minor changes as opposed to a whole list since it can be time consuming. I would really recommend trying a whole list at some point though. Finding a synergy between them is very different from suggesting one or two changes. Please feel free to comment on each other's decisions in a constructive manner and remember that everything is ultimately a matter of opinion. Pokemon Obtainable Pokemon by Location: This data was ripped directly from the game files so it is accurate
  19. I'm trying to play Pokemon XD on my Wii, and have been running into a problem. If I go into my Wii's data management menu and check the Gamecube memory card, it says I have a save file that was created in December 2006. However, when I boot up my game and select continue, I get a text box that says "The Memory Card in Slot A does not contain Story Mode saved data to continue from!" Since the saved data is shown to be present on the memory card, despite my game telling me otherwise, I'd like to know if there is any way for me to recover it, so that I can trade my party to Sapphire and migrate them up to X. If at all possible, I'd like to be able to achieve this without needing to buy anything, but I'm desperate enough to consider it if I have no other options.
  20. I've figured out how scripts work in Pokémon , and therefore wrote a script disassembler (in Python 3.x). Sorry if it's a mess. There are basically two scripts run at the same time: the "common" script, used for a lot of things, loaded after the "Health and safety" screen, and the current map's own script. I don't know where the common script is stored, so I've dumped it from RAM (you can find it in in the link below, along with the disassembler). This common script seems to do strange things anyways. For everything else, refer to the disassembler various docstrings. I consider the Daycare's script (M3_houseD_1F.fsys/1) to be a good script to begin with. The test script (in Script_test.fsys) is interesting too. Download link (download the source code, since it's Python): https://github.com/TuxSH/XDscriptTools/releases/tag/v0.1
  21. I have a lot of information on which I'll be adding to this post. I've been writing an app to streamline the hacking process and I've pretty much completed the logic and just need to complete the UI now. As a result there is a lot of code that is quite useful as a reference. It's all in the swift programming language which I doubt many people here use but it should be simple enough to figure out what it all does. Here's a link to the repository : -Code'>https://github.com/PekanMmd/Pokemon--Code Part 1 of my tutorials: -hacking-tutorial-part-1-File-decompression-recompression'>http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?46250-Stars-Pokemon-colosseum-and--hacking-tutorial-part-1-File-decompression-recompression I'll be updating this post with more details. 22. So I've been digging through the files in Pokemon XD and I stumbled across an image that is unused in the final version of the game. It shows the main character (Michael) at what looks like an early version of Gateon port. He has a very different design to the final design and it's sooo much cooler than the final version. I wish they'd kept the old design.
  23. **The first part of my tutorials is here if you're looking for it - -hacking-tutorial-part-1-File-decompression-recompression'>http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?46250-Stars-Pokemon-colosseum-and--hacking-tutorial-part-1-File-decompression-recompression** images: There are still a lot of things I haven't been able to figure out on my own so far. It is to be hoped, that with my knowledge of pokemon colosseum and hacking now available to more people we will see some progress. Some things on the list are things I've started to piece together but got stuck. Some things I just couldn't find at all. I. physical/special split Done II. Editing map scripts Done III. Editing textures Done IV. Editing models - Things I haven't been able to figure out at all - I. Where is the weakness/resistance table ?! Done It's been in the same format in all the other games but I can't seem to figure it out for colosseum or . II. I know where the sound files are but I don't know how to edit them. Their file names and magic bytes might give the formats away though. I just don't know much about music formats and its a low priority for me. III. ASM hacking Done The majority of it will be in start.dol. The gamecube runs on the powerPC architecture which is very well documented and in fact I have a hex editor on my mac that was able to disassemble the code for me without me needing to specify any details. My assemly programming isn't great though as I kind of missed those lectures in uni ... (damn!) Understanding the game's programming could allow all sorts of hacks like making new move effects (e.g. trick room or quiver dance), make new abilities (e.g. adaptability or mega launcher) increasing the walking speed or adding new battle mechanics from later generations like drizzle expiring or not switching in your next pokemon when one dies until the end of the turn (For those who don't know, back in gen III, in double battles if one pokemon fainted you had to replace it straight away meaning if you doubled up on a slot then you could knock out that pokemon and then hit the next pokemon switched in on the same turn). We could also change things like the chances of finding shiny pokemon (which is set to 0 in ) or the critical hit chances and damage multiplier like in gen VI.
