Welcome to two more of my hacks, done with StarsMmd's tools. This time I remixed Pokémon Colosseum and XD with changes accross the board. This is based on a idea from a friend that wanted to make a hack for Leaf Green but had technical issues. Features -Changes to all Pokémon. Typing, abilities and stats are changed to something that is thematically better or help the Pokémon. -Every Pokemon has one ability. -Moves rebalanced. Almost every move is now useful and serves at least a niche. -Different Shadow Pokémon, making enphasis in the ones with most changes. -All

I would have filled the PC Boxes with all 386 Pokémon...but you only have 8 PC Boxes! I added some useful Pokémon into boxes 7 and 8 though. 750 the most important items are in your bag. Pokémon XD: Save 1: Beginning: Michael has once again proven his superior tactical skills in another Pokémon Battle Simulation, in which he defeated Battle Coach Losten's Metagross with a Salamence. Losten thinks it's time for Michael to gather more Pokémon, than just his Eevee. On television, Michael saw an ONBS news report, in which the Captain and one Crewmember -
This is a collection of a few small Java programs I wrote and have been using to edit some files in Pokemon XD: GoD and I've also recently found out that some of them also work with Pokemon Channel and Colosseum files. They're mainly just more convenient than manually editing the files. Almost all of them have size limits because changing file sizes needs modifications to the game's .toc and FSYS list. GTX to TGA: Converts .gtx files to TGA images, mainly useful to find out what they are I_SF Tool: Inserts/extracts DSP files into/from XD's music FSYS files, the filenames

So, I've been using PkHex while doing a really casual play through of Pokemon XD, and I noticed when checking the shadow monitor some of the shadow Pokemon aren't the right species. For example, it says I've snagged a Shadow Blaziken instead of Zangoose. It's kind of hard to explain, so I included my save for reference. I don't know if it's because of me editing the EVs (but not IVs/Nature), me giving myself items, or what else, but I'd like to see if this can be fixed. Thank you for your help. 01-GXXE-PokemonXD_07.gci

The randomiser functionality has been incorporated into Gale of Darkness Tool. This makes it easier to make small tweaks after randomising (e.g. making sure the starters are viable) and to apply patches such as the physical/special split. Available here -> Gale of Darkness Tool

XD XDScript : A scripting language for Pokemon XD:GoD
StarsMmd posted a topic in General Development
I have created a new scripting language for Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. This will make editing scripts much easier and far more intuitive than before. So far only the decompiler is done which converts the raw binary data into human readable .xds scripts. It's quite a big project on it's own so I felt it needed a thread to collect input and document its progress. For now I have dumped every script in the game and uploaded them here: Pokemon XD .xds files A syntax highlighting scheme and a colour scheme for the Sublime Text 3 text editor developed just for .xds files are also in -
So I have an idea of a heavily story and character driven Ruby (or maybe Fire Red) hack that will feature Ash as the hero and that will feature multiple legendaries, shadow pokemon, and of course... a Pikachu who follows you (as well as Misty and Brock, if possible). The game will be based in a new region known as Genesso. Based shortly after the Sinnoh series, Oak and Rowan will ask Ash to come to the newly discovered region that is supposedly the region where Pokémon first came to be. The main things I need help for is mostly the scripting and stuff like getting Pokémon and people

Hello! I'm brand new here but I've been using PKHeX for a little while now. I decided to replay both Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD on the Gamecube recently. Upon completion of both, I traded over every single Pokemon from both games into my Emerald game cart. I went and opened it up in PKHeX so I could transfer some easily into my Sun game and noticed a few things regarding the legality checking for Pokemon originating in these games. The mistakes I've found are as follows: According to PKHeX, all Pokemon snagged in Pokemon Colosseum should have a 'Fateful Encounter' fl

Hey folks, Someone brought this to my attention. The Gale of Darkness Articuno is legal until edited slightly. Simply re rolling the PID makes it illegal. I've attached the legal file. It's not supposed to be locked in any way except for the Michael trainer info. Not sure why it can't be edited or if its a bug with PKHeX Legal XD Articuno.pk7

So, after making my Randomizer program, I'm going to be doing an entire playthrough of it! This should be fun. Video link:

So, after a very long development period, I'm happy to release my Pokemon XD Randomizer! I've released two version actually. One automatically tries to sync health while the other requires user input. Both have their advantages. With User Input, just press the 1 button whenever a pokemon in the top most slot pops out, and two for when one in the bottom does. The Automated version automatically syncs health values, but sometimes at the cost of losing randomization and sometimes doesn't even get the health right(so, choose the level of functionality you want here) The program takes the Operating

So, I've been working on this for the past 2 weeks now... Enjoy this video:

With my hack of pokemon having recently been released, I've been getting a lot of responses about which pokemon to include/exclude. There aren't any other hacks around to compare with so I'm interested in hearing what others have to say. I made this thread in the hopes that people could share ideas and opinions. If anyone wants to join in the discussion, then I challenge you to come up with a complete set of pokemon for pokemon . You can use the list below from the vanilla game as a template. Feel free to discuss any changes that are assumed to have been implemented for the list to work and

I'm trying to play Pokemon XD on my Wii, and have been running into a problem. If I go into my Wii's data management menu and check the Gamecube memory card, it says I have a save file that was created in December 2006. However, when I boot up my game and select continue, I get a text box that says "The Memory Card in Slot A does not contain Story Mode saved data to continue from!" Since the saved data is shown to be present on the memory card, despite my game telling me otherwise, I'd like to know if there is any way for me to recover it, so that I can trade my party to Sapphire and migr

I've figured out how scripts work in Pokémon , and therefore wrote a script disassembler (in Python 3.x). Sorry if it's a mess. There are basically two scripts run at the same time: the "common" script, used for a lot of things, loaded after the "Health and safety" screen, and the current map's own script. I don't know where the common script is stored, so I've dumped it from RAM (you can find it in in the link below, along with the disassembler). This common script seems to do strange things anyways. For everything else, refer to the disassembler various docstrings. I consider the Daycare'

I have a lot of information on which I'll be adding to this post. I've been writing an app to streamline the hacking process and I've pretty much completed the logic and just need to complete the UI now. As a result there is a lot of code that is quite useful as a reference. It's all in the swift programming language which I doubt many people here use but it should be simple enough to figure out what it all does. Here's a link to the repository : -Code'>https://github.com/PekanMmd/Pokemon--Code Part 1 of my tutorials: -hacking-tutorial-part-1-File-decompression-recompression'>http://p

So I've been digging through the files in Pokemon XD and I stumbled across an image that is unused in the final version of the game. It shows the main character (Michael) at what looks like an early version of Gateon port. He has a very different design to the final design and it's sooo much cooler than the final version. I wish they'd kept the old design.

It is to be hoped, that with my knowledge of pokemon colosseum and hacking now available to more people we will see some progress. Some things on the list are things I've started to piece together but got stuck. Some things
