I am going to start working on trying to obtain the Battle Video stored on a Platinum save file, and need save files to look at. If anyone has Pokemon Platinum with a Battle Video playable in the VS Recorder, please post it here, along with a detailed description of what happens in the video - as detailed as possible. Todo: 1. Find Where the battle video is stored, possibly extract/import the data as a *.plbv file. - WIP 2. Attempt to Decode the video into a text script. 3. Allow for editing. 4. After first beta is published, attempt to make graphical playback.

Hey folks, this is Fist Omega! I've got the German Version of Pokemon Platinum and 2 problems with Pokesav Platinum: The first one is relating to the "Secret Key" for the 5 different Rotom-forms in that Team Galactic Base. I've added the "Secret Key" to my Key Items, and it is visible, but I can't use it. Whenever I stay there in front of that wall in the Galactic Base in Eterna City pressing the A-Button the whole time, nothing happens. I hope it won't be the same with "Azure Flute" and "Oak's letter"... The other problem is relating to the NationalDex: There are 2 Pokemons I've to see before getting the NationalDex; Hippopotas and Medicham. I thought of creating these 2 Pokemons in my storage so I would also have there Pokedex-Entrys, but somehow it doesn't work, although I've got those 2 Pokemons in my storage and can use them..what can I do? Hope somebody can help, Fist Omega EDIT: The Item "Oak's Letter" doesn't work either...pls help! -
hi iam useing a windows xp laptop and when i play platinum on there with no$gba its slow really slow so i was wondering if some one can help me with this problem?

I was fixing a few pokemon when I saved the pokemon, and then I tried to go back to fix something and it won't open. It was working fine 5 minutes ago. What can I do?

Coded in VB.Net Originally made because Sabresite wouldn't release his, I decided to dig it up and add more languages and Platinum support. Thanks to Codemonkey85 and Jiggy-Ninja for some help. NOTE: Platinum Trash Bytes will be shown as Invalid in Legality Checker! Checking support will be added later (hopefully) Korean pokemon show up as invalid in Legality Checker, but they also show up as invalid if you use Sabresite's normalizer. I recommend using http://www.casiopia.net/PokeMod/TrashBytes.zip for DP pokemon, as it has a batch function, but this program supports both DP and Pt. Games/Languages Supported: DP: English, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish Pt: English, Japanese If you would like other languages added, and have a ROM (hopefully you obtained it legally), a Flashcart (Or a SAV backup device) and a GBA pokemon game. Some of you may know me, some of you may not know me. I'm the person who appeared on PokéCommunity once. As well as appeared on other forums too. For those who do not know me. Well, what can I say about myself? My name's Davin, I'm a person who is fond of a place called Xat.com. Which is a chatbox site. I've been into ROM Hacking even before I ever came to PC. However, over time I got bored of creating 3rd generation hacks (which I never made one anyways). So now I'm into 4th generation ROM Hacking. Which is most likely I would be the one in hand for giving advise on Map layout objects and all that. In case you're all probably wondering where I got the avatar from, I got it from a friend of mine on Xat.com, her name is Azzy. It's a really nice avatar too. So, in I go... I guess.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows why pokesav for platinum (english version) does not allow you to change the score on your trainer card, unlike the one for d/p. If anyone knows the code for max score on your trainer card in pokemon platinum (i.e.999999999), then can you please let me know.

Lets say someone gets a misdreavus in Platinum (by trade from Pearl) and breeds it to get an egg. Then they do an egg swap with another person with Pokemon Platinum. What would the TID and SID of the pokemon be? The trainer who originally had the egg, or the trainer that the egg got swapped to? Also, what would you put in the met in place box for a swapped egg?

I've been looking around for quite a while now and haven't found a topic like this. Since how I only have one DS, I want to move some .pkm files from a pearl save to a platinum save. Is this possible to do? Or would it be a better idea to get a hold of another ds, trade, and avoid the trouble?

I just downloaded the Jirachi card, imported the .pgt into Pokesav Platinum, and exported the code. However, it doesn't work on my (US) Platinum. I've done the exact same process numerous times with D/P, even with Japanese wonder cards, and it's worked just fine. Is there anything I'm missing? And by "didn't work," nothing at all happens when I press L+R.

Because it doesn't work. Yesterday I was building a wondercard event (did that many times on the US version of Pearl) and when I tried to load it onto the UK version of Platinum the game crashed. I thought something was wrong with the Wondercard I built but no, the same card works like a charm when I rebuilt it for US Pearl... Please what can I do? The game ID is CPUE3b823103. I can only find Pokesav's for the French version and the US one. Maybe I'm missing something on the site. Btw the card I built was for a Shiny Regirock. :biggrin: Would be super if I can make that work on UK Plat. -

I have some question: Why in the pokesav the pokedex option "complete" is not available? Why the option event flag is not available? Why when i create a pokemon, it's not registred in the dex? (sorry for my bad english)

Hi, I want to make a code so that I can get the event-only items, (Azure Flute, Oak's Letter, and Member's Card) and have them work. But in Platinum the "Enable Gift" box is missing. So is it even possible to get the items without that box?

Hi Guys, Upon looking through my AR list, I noticed that the Wild Pokemon are Shiny cheat says "Do Not Breed!"? Does this only apply when using the code, or can I never breed said Pokémon? Also, does SCV's shiny encounter code have the same rules as above? If not, does anyone know how to make it work for the UK version of platinum? Thanks, Matt. Edit: 1 Final Question: Do these codes apply a preset personality value to the encountered Pokémon? Hey there, I made some pokemon on pokesav. I want these pokemon to look like i palparked them from the GBA game to Pearl/Diamond, and then traded them to Platinum. I left all the hidden hex values 00 and met in Pal Park. (these hidden hex values need to 00 in this case right?) I also fixed the trashbytes. So my question is do these look legit? I've asked this already on another thread BUUUUT..... Can someone gimme a link or do a quick guide on HOW to use some of the cheats on NDS for plat.....like what number 1 is for nature or how pokerus code works....help? THANKS!

I recently downloaded PokesavPlat (english version). Since I had it for my pearl version, I trusted that it would work. However, my game id is different from the one in the generated xml file. So I opened it in word and changed the game ID to that of my game. When I went to click l+r, however, my game froze. I figured the code should be smaller, so I took a few aspects of the edit out. Then I tried again - again changing the game ID so that it would correspond with my version of Plat. My game froze again. Cut the code in half (gave myself the first three pokemon instead of all six), and again my game froze. It works for my friend, who has the same version of Pokemon Platinum that I have, so what am I doing wrong?

i used pokesav to add a pokemon to bebe's pc, but it doesn't show up on my pokedex as own, all though i can own the next evolution chain on the pokedex as it evolve. what can i do to get that first stage pokemon into my pokedex?

I am on a Project Hack of Pokemon Platinum Legend : Galactic Rising which is gonna be realesing soon. The Original Thread is Here http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=155665. I don not want to write slot so i am jus gonna copy from there: The changes that have been made so far : Starting From Gardenia all the gym leader will have tougher and new pokemon. Galactic commander pokemon have been toughen up and changed Bewarn Cyrus is now more difficult to defeat as he have changed pokemon and have more pokemon Piplup can be caught on route 202 , chimchar can be caught on route 201 Gangar can be caught on old chateau without the insert of any gba cartridges Changed 20% of trainer pokemon and images Battle music changed to frontier brain backgroung music Alakazam and Luxray can be caught on route 203 Vaporeon,jolteon,flareon,umbreon and espeon are catchable at the trophy garden so there you have it the changes i made so far so be sure to check back for more detail and the released date.
