Hey there, I made some pokemon on pokesav. I want these pokemon to look like i palparked them from the GBA game to Pearl/Diamond, and then traded them to Platinum. I left all the hidden hex values 00 and met in Pal Park. (these hidden hex values need to 00 in this case right?) I also fixed the trashbytes. So my question is do these look legit? I recently downloaded PokesavPlat (english version). Since I had it for my pearl version, I trusted that it would work. However, my game id is different from the one in the generated xml file. So I opened it in word and changed the game ID to that of my game. When I went to click l+r, however, my game froze. I figured the code should be smaller, so I took a few aspects of the edit out. Then I tried again - again changing the game ID so that it would correspond with my version of Plat. My game froze again. Cut the code in half (gave myself the first three pokemon instead of all six), and again my game froze. It works for my friend, who has the same version of Pokemon Platinum that I have, so what am I doing wrong?

I use platinum pokesav however when I make codes like pokemon codes my game freezes.Can anyone help me:confused:

When I load my .sav file, I can edit everything, but I can't use event flags.:mad: Is there someone who can help me?:confused:

could i get the events for Celebi ,Deoxys, Lugia, Ho-oh, Latios, and Latios? also make them for Platinum?

I have a problem with pokemon platinum and the pokesav... I have both pokemon pearl (italian version) and pokemon platinum (american imported version), and I dumped both of the games on a DSone for the use of pokesav...the problem is that if i mod the savegame of pokemon pearl it works, but when I mod the save of platinum (with pokesav platinum, obviously), when i transfer the savegame on the flash card, everithing remains as if I don't modded anithing...someone could explain me why this is happening? Ps. Sorry for my English, I'm Italian, I could have done some mistakes ^^

Did anyone else notice how terrible the English script of Platinum is? I tried to play it when it came out, and I couldn't even make it past Sandgem without vowing to never leave my Japanese version again. I'll post some examples a bit later... But anything the professor says just sounds completely unnatural, and things that he and Dawn say were obviously taken as literal translations from the Japanese... "Please let me pass," she says, as she walks away. What kind of English-speaking 10 year old talks like that unless there's some kind of giant bouncer blocking their way?! I think "Excuse me" or ANYTHING ELSE would have been more natural. The translation seemed to be so poorly done that for a second I thought my copy of the game had been switched with someone's terrible fan-translation. Don't even get me started on all the lame internet memes that the super-nerd translators snuck in there. Did anyone else feel like the English was really unnatural?? Also, do you remember if it was the same script as Diamond and Pearl? I'll replay the intro to Diamond a little later to see if I can find out, but let's discuss this .... issue... here.

i went on the data base to find pkm files for the platinum lagendarys and they only have dimond and pearl versons of all of them can some one help me?

yah im having trouble finding an action replay code that will enable the use of the new pokemon forms on platinum on nintendo wi-fi? i really would appreciate it if anyone could find the code for me and incase it isn't already obvious enough, then by forms i mean the new rotom forms the new shaymin sky form and giratina origin form which are exclusive only to platinum. i want the code for the USA version because i tried using the japanese and it didn't work. my email is: radgoku@yahoo.com -
I'm talking about the problem where on the GTS it doesn't show the level and gender of the wanted pokemon, which as I understand it is a glitch in the game's coding rather than a glitch on the GTS itself. So my question is could that problem be fixed using an AR code? Or would it require ROM hacking?

Hey everyone, I got Platinum on the release date, and I played through the game, and have beat it, and I'm tired of the team I have. Would anyone be able to help me make a team for the ages? Usually I don't ask people for their help with these kinds of things, but I'm going to now. I'd like it to be 100% legal, so that I can still make them in Pokésav, but not have them illegitimate. I looked through the forum and didn't see a thread for discussion of the Platinum Battle Frontier and progress in it, so yeah. I have all five Silver Medals. I got them in clockwise order, beginning with the Battle Factory and ending with the Tower. Right now I'm in the process of trying to breed a good Slaking to use in the Battle Hall.

What number of Ev's and Iv's should i give a pokemon at level 20 using pokesav to make it look legit and for it to have good normal stats so i wont suck in battling? Please list it: EX: Defense: 34 Attack: 45 ^ Thats what i mean by list it. Please i really need help with that! -
What Pokeball did you use to catch Giratina in the Distortion (Torn) World? For me, it was a Timer Ball. I forgot to stock up on pokeballs before I went under, so I literally had 2 pokeballs, 4 greatballs, 4 ultraballs, 1 luxury/net/timer/dusk/masterball. My first attempt, I used everything but the Master. Reset. Second attempt, killed the Giratina. Reset. Third attempt, used up the greatballs and the pokeballs, used the timer. Caught. Good stuff. ^__^ Secondary question here: At what time did you first beat the E4?

Right now on platinum, i'm trying to catch the 3 legendary birds but their is 1 problem, they keep running away I figured I need a pokemon that stops them from running Can someone help me with this?

Hi, I'm not sure if this has been addressed elsewhere (I can't find anything related to it), but I'm using the v0.06d Platinum Pokesav and the checkbox for Complete Pokedex is grayed out (the checkboxes for Sinnoh and Sinnoh/National seem fine). I also have a friend with the same version who can't use that option either, so I'm wondering if there's anything we can do to get it working? Thanks in advance.

So, I was editing some simple stuff for my friends the other day and came across some problems. Firstly, I dumped someones save file so that I could get the .pkm of a Bidoof obtained from the GTS that looked like it might be one of those events. When I opened the save in the editor, the following things happened: 1. The party was MISSING three Pokemon, including the Bidoof. 2. Boxes 4 through 10 were wiped and set to the same wallpaper. Secondly, I dumped another friends save file to change some nicknames around for them. Oddly, nothing seemed wrong about the boxes or Pokemon this time, so I thought nothing of it. However, after I had finished making the changes and reapplied the save to his cart, the wierd stuff happened. Some of the Pokemon I had nicknamed were as though they hadn't changed, others had vanished completely, and others were nicknamed and duplicated in the box about five or six times. I tried reapplying the save again after some other minor changes, and less wierd behavior happened, though it still refused to nickname some Pokemon even though I clearly changed them in the editor. Anyone else had wonky behavior like this?

Hello all I'm looking for a few AR codes for US Platinum. Namely; Fast Hatch code (must be tested and working, none of the codes going around work) Rename any Pokemon code (not sure if this is possible or not) I think thats it at the moment, would be really grateful for this

I have created 3 parties of Pokemon, on the correct Pokesav version, and gotten the ARDS output code. When I put it in my AR, start up the game with it, and then use it, I go to look at my party and all I can see is a black screen. Frozen. Can someone help me on this? :confused:

hey i havent put platinum on my action replay. i put in the game id but the codes are not working in the game. is it the codes or the id that might be faulty. btw i typed the id perfectly

Original topic: http://forum.pokesav.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3814 To re-summarize: I can load my save onto Pokesav and data says I have pokemon edited and added into my PC boxes, but when I restore the save to my game cart(this isn't a ROM sav file I'm editing, it's "legit"), no data is changed. I use Rudolph's Wifi Backup tool.
