Greetings, fellow hackers. I come to you with a question. I have located the file containing the different battle backgrounds in HG/SS, located in the pbr folder. However, I am uncertain of what extension these files are, or how to open them. I am asking the forum here if anyone has happened to come across any tools or knowledge on how to open these backgrounds so that they can be edited and shoved back into the narc file. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I want to edit the rom POKEMON HEART GOLD here's what I want to change -graphics of female hero -graphics of Brendan (female hero friend) -Name of Brendan -sprite of Brendan and female hero ._. that is all I want to change but I have NO idea where to start with this stuff if it helps I am running a windows 7, 64 bit .... so could someone tell me step by step what I need to do? ._.;; even if you just help me with one of these it'll be a great help and I apologize ahead of time if this post is incorrect in any way I tend to mess up lots on forums ._.;; -
Okay so I was wondering if I needed to use the hex values to make a legit pokemon like on the platinum pokesav? If i do how do I do it on pokegen for heartgold/soulsilver? I don't see it at all like you would on Pokesav... So can anyone help me out?

Ok! When I activated a code; I made on Pokegenerator 3.0b8; then saved, turned off, and then turned back on... It said "The save file has been erased, due to corruption or damage." Has this ever happened to anyone? If so please tell me why it keeps happening! I mean, this is at least the 4th time it's happened! By the way, CODR, I don't blame you for it. Please Help!:frown:

LVL 100 Iv's: Attack: 24 Defence: 25 Speed - 26 Sp attack: 15 Sp defense: 14 Hp: 27 Ev's: Attack: 85 Defence: 85 Speed - 85 Sp attack: 85 Sp defense: 85 Hp: 85 If not, what should i do to make it seem/look legit? Aslo, based on these Iv's, Ev's, and its LVL, is this pokemon weak, strong, or too strong? - If not strong, what number's should i change my Ev's and Iv's to to make it strong? - (not weak or too strong, just strong).

i am sorry if someone already asked for this or if i am asking for this in the wrong place but can some hacker or anyone please make this code for me a speed modifier that mods how fast your main character runs. like multiply it by these #s 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 i really want a code/codes that do that please someone help me. so i want a code that makes the main character run crazy fast(or make his speed multiplied by 2,4,6,8 and 10)

hey everyone, i know that i am new to the site and the forums but i have been working on a project for a little while here and there and was wondering if it would be something that anyone else would be interested in. im working on a massive breeding project involving the incorporation of egg moves, good IV's and proper natures for the given poke. They are then EV trained, evolved to their final stage and placed in storage. i know that this site is big into the use of AR and pokesav and i don't aregue that it is a very good program. But for this project i am using no extenal devices. i have about 1/3 of all the Bug type pokes done and i will be slowly increasing the work on the project in the next few weeks. If anyone is interested in helping to get these pokes onto the site, if they are even wanted, as i don't have the ability to generate the files due to the lack of a flash cart. One of the key points of the progect is to generate pokemon that can "hold their own" in compettive battle, and not be a "copy" of the standard competitive pokes that eveyone uses. Just let me know if anyone is interested in contribution or the end results of the project. Feel free to shoot me down if you think it is a waste of time or server space. Thanx for reading the rant

OK this was quite a hot topic on the last forum with a few people coming up with some great ideas. So lets keep it going, what pokemon are you hoping for in future gens? More types perhaps or more type combinations, more evolutions or anything. Im personally waiting for a dark/psychic type and all type eeveelutions.

Yes there is a way to get the pokemon you want without using the ever wonderful !!Pokesav!! and breeding pays a big part in this. Also other things like EVs and IVs play a huge part in getting the pokemon you want. I hope that this guide helped and you all could understand it. Remember don't give me EV questions because that is not my strong point. The reason IVs didn't show up in the guide is because I don't know much about them. So maybe you could get someone else to help on that. Anyway I did the best I could here so please comment or add to what I missed or left out because I am deprived of information in that section. It would be appreciated! Just in case you dont know click on the actual spoiler button to show the guide. I'm not sure what is going on, I've remade them 2 times and they both are still bad eggs in PBR. This only happened with Kingdra and Salamence, all the other 40 or so Pokemon I made work fine. I've made sure to get the 85h right (They both are set to hatch from eggs so its 00, and yes, they are in Poke Balls), date met and date received are the same day, no nickname... the EVs on both are 252/232/24... What's wrong? EDIT: They also both have legal movesets. Standard Smogon movesets and item choice. EDIT 2: Kingdra suddenly worked... no idea what to do about Salamence, though. EDIT 3: Salamence finally worked. Not sure what happened.

I was using pokesav for my white ver, all i did was change the gender of a certain pokemon. When i saved and started the game, My player chara's name became ???. It was suppose to be シロロ . But my Pokemon OT, Is still my original name, シロロ . Can anyhow help me with this? Im using woodrpg v1.14. Please help T^T..

my Pokémon Soul Silver game freezers up when i hit yes to connect to wi-fi im using an AK2 with the unofficial kernal i also tried it with the official kernal and still no luck i tried holding X wen i load the game i tried changing settings around and still freezers but on my R4i it does freeze up but then i try again and it works fine so any help will be Much Appreciated. -

I would very much prefer a highly experienced Pokesav user. I don't want my game to go kablooey on me >.>. I already have Action Replay so I can put in the codes myself, I just don't trust myself to make the codes on my own since it is apparently easy to do it wrong. If there's something I didn't specify in my form, that means I don't want it/don't care, so don't worry about it. I also find it oddly fun to EV train myself, so my codes will probably be easy to make. Also, it'd be groovy if you could PM me the codes as my internet isn't stable and I don't want to lose them should this thread get buried, haha. Thanks Oh - one more thing: I plan to trade these pokemon from my Diamond to my Platinum game. I'm paranoid of horrible errors, so I bought a used copy just in case. Not sure if hacked pokes are tradeable, but I figure this is a significant thing I should mention. Its not that I don't trust your abilities, it's that all the horror stories make me wary. . Another note: I like to train my pokemon from the ground up, probably because I am OCD. So my shinies are requested in their pre-evolutions, with normal stats and legal abilities and such (except for Milotic, I'm out of Wiki Berries ). Oh, and could the nicknames not be in all caps? It bugs my ocd. .
