  1. In that case, there are several on that list without the (PCD Only), do you have regigigas or any of the first four listed?
  2. There's a list on the first post of the contribs thread but it's a little out of date. Here's a better one: JEREMY slowpoke JEREMY oddish JEREMY shellder "Wish" pokemon TCGWC pikachu (PCD only) NoK manaphy (PCD only) NoK rayquaza (PCD only) Pikacafe electivire & magmortar NoK deoxys (PCD only) Pikacafe tangrowth NoK darkrai (PCD only) Nok mew (PCD only) French VGC milotic (PCD only) Battle Series arcanine (PCD only) NoK regigigas (PCD only) NoK munchlax & feebas (PCD only) NoK shaymin & pikachu UK regigigas
  3. Those codes do not make for a legitimately caught pokemon... This is the same as catching a pokemon and then editing it's IVs/PID.
  4. An "update" isn't possible as far as I know. A remake certainly is... My opinion is that PBR doesn't warrant a remake, but that doesn't stop them; Guested did bring up a good point. IMO PBR is nothing but a fancy accessory so you can watch your pokemon battle in 3D. Unless they add something of substance to the single-player experience I won't be buying it. Colosseum and had probably the best single-player of any pokemon game, and they completely cut that out for PBR...
  5. Thanks. That's pretty much as expected. It confirms that a private, updated version is being used for the tournaments. Why they would bother doing this, I don't know. My speculation is no speculation at all, I don't think we'll be seeing a PBR sequel/update.
  6. This is the first I've even heard of this villa thing, lol. (I haven't played Platinum at all really.) But anyway, isn't the underground secret base thing in platinum too?
  7. Do you realize how stupid and downright rude this question is? Seriously, at least make an effort to read the thread before posting.
  8. That was already confirmed false long ago...
  9. rofl The most useful thing it would allow for is probably automatic "warstories" or w/e from games you play over WFC. And if someone got really ambitious they could write something to parse the data into an actual video.
  10. Um, having other people post their saves is hardly necessary. Go onto the GTS and download some battles that people have posted there. Then you can watch them and be 100% sure you're getting the full description. Also, the data for the video itself is encrypted. =(
  11. Wireless distributions are region locked, so technically the only legal way to get it would be through a trade (and thus you would have only a pkm, no wonder card).
  12. Yes, R4s are very popular (but no longer made) flashcarts. What you do depends on what you want do do... You probably want to back up your saves, right? That's one thing you can do. You can also play ROMs of your games with your backup-up save, it works just like a real game, but you can carry around a bunch at once. =) I'd be happy to help you out, just PM me or better yet try to get ahold of me on IRC.
  13. I've wondered the same thing myself. The addresses that the game connect to for GTS transaction are in plain ASCII in the rom, meaning you can open it up in a hex editor, do a text search to find them, and modify them to your liking. However none of the urls that can be found by a plain text search are related to the WFC mystery gift feature. They're in there somewhere no doubt, but they were obviously hidden better than the GTS ones. Since the GTS is international anyway I suppose this doesn't do you much good, but maybe you'll at least find it interesting.
  14. Perfectly possible. Just requires a bit of rom hacking. I made a thread on this back in the old forums. Check it out.
  15. When you extract the PKM directly from a PGT file it hasn't gone through the generation process that occurs when you pick it up from the green man. During this generation process the game reads a value from the "hatched location", adds 3000 to that value, and moves it to the "met location".
  16. I know some of you are shitting your pants over this, so here's the PGT at least: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showpost.php?p=38649&postcount=543 Credit to Kelly for providing the PKM early.
  17. Correct, but not the wondercard files. NTR has confirmed that your arceus pkm is the same as his, so at some point an article will be put up on the main page crediting you for the pkm. And then we'll add the PCD later when NTR releases it.
  18. You've got talent. =) Even if your PS stuff is the "least polished", those are my favorites.
  19. That's great! Especially since I was bugging you about that before, lol.
  20. The "game ID" IIRC is just the CRC of the rom image. Any time you make any change to the ROM it'll need to be changed along with it.
  21. no$gba is the emulator of choice for pokemon. For Plat just make sure you've got the sound enabled or it'll freeze up.
  22. Those 3D intros are incredible, I wouldn't even have though the DS was capable of that based on other games I've seen. Yeah, like they're not gonna do it on DSi regardless... If they were smart, and they are, they would always use their most recent system in ads. So this really doesn't tell you anything at all.
  23. You're correct Syberia. That just goes to show that this check is quite good, but not perfect. I'd still like to test exactly how far is goes, so maybe i'll get back on that.
