  1. I honestly don't think it would hurt them or any of their concerns, be it the value of the original they hold, and/or promises with Ninty empoyees not to share, etc. No need for paranoia, as it's not the full original rom, rather providing what is necessary to create our OWN versions. But I respect whatever decisions our collector friends would make, we're in no position to demand.
  2. @ajxpk This totally took me by surprise. You and I were just talking about these Jirachi multiboots in private last week I think, about my dream to make a GBA version Wishmaker. I had no idea we were so close. I'm even more overjoyed that we can now generate Negaiboshis too! I am curious though about the difference in appearance between this and the original Negaiboshi rom, as in, does it use this same generic master as BGF Zig, or rather something different. Considering this being one of the earliest events, I don't expect it to look like the 10ANNIV, etc. This is probably the most enjoyment I've had since I dumped the 10ANNIV and Aurora rom. I think the stress of obtaining Aura Mew made it a less enjoyable experience, regardless of how happy I am to have it. Of course, us obtaining the remainder of the boxed 420 Mystery Mews was quite a unique and interesting experience. I suppose we can't rebuild anything else for the time being without actual multiboot files. But that's basically impossible without possessing the actual roms (unless we can get our collector friends who could thoughtfully consider sharing the mbs, since they don't want to share the original roms). While hacking 10ANNIV/Aura MBs looks like it will be nearly impossible, it would be nice to theoretically recreate all it's variants that use the same algorithm/seeding, eg the 10ANNIV language variants, Doel Deoxys, etc.
  3. @suloku I've been messing around with the Jirachi seeder again lately, and I realized that it'd be really handy to have a .nds version to reset the received flag much quicker than repeatedly transferring the save between cart and PC. I figure that'd be the simplest way for anyone to consistently bypass that "one Jirachi limit". Just an idea I wanted to throw out there, if you or anyone was willing and had the free time.
  4. I can try to make a video this weekend, since @HaxAras is gone and no longer involved in the pokemon community.
  5. Basically Aura was Europe's only Gen 3 Mew, and MYSTRY was the US's only Gen 3 Mew. Your understanding is correct about the methods which both were distributed. As for legal Aura Mews, depending on what you want one for, you may be interested in something to be released very soon which I can only discuss further in private. Alternatively, there are several .pk3s available.
  6. I'm quite excited that we are(likely) finally able to get a legal shiny Celebi, one of the few pokemon that can never be obtained as shiny(not counting those long stuck in Japanese Gen II saves). Though it wouldn't surprise me if they tried to force it to be non-shiny, but idk how much they'd actually care to put in the effort of patching in set IVs for the encounter. Which also makes me wonder if the GS Ball event trigger will be done by a patch, or an actual hard edit to the rom. Another part of this that's exciting is that for the second time, like Deoxys in ORAS, another mythical pokemon will now be permanently obtainable at any time just by owning the game, without needing to wait for a distribution. I always hoped we'd get more scenarios like that. Sure some people may not like "rarity" being devalued, but I always go back thinking about myself as a kid frustrated that I couldn't get certain pokemon. Even if it's easier these days, lots of people still miss out simply by not being aware at the right time.
  7. Shiny Groudon and Kyogre are pretty random, it's not like they're shiny-locked. I don't even know what the significance of this event is, if it's not TGC. Still hoping for more eventual distributions of shiny-locked legends. It's a bit bothersome having Shiny Tapu Koko and not the other 3, and STILL no shiny Zygarde, all being legal. At least mythical distributions are always nice to see, especially when they haven't yet been given during the current generation.
  8. If all you want is to hunt Ultra Space legendaries, you can do so as soon as you access Ultra Warp Ride, which is right after you beat Dawn Wings Necrozma. I had posted a save in a previous thread, with you being at the Altar right before you first battle Necrozma. Hope it helps.
  9. Luckily I had made a backup save at the Altar right before you play the Moon Flute. I edited and removed all personal stuff like Trainer Name, TID/SID, caught pokemon, reset received Totems/Pikachu, etc, etc. I replaced the team with a Ditto. So all that stuff can be modified to your liking if you wanted to. When I tested it the Ditto easily defeats Dawn Wings Necrozma, but not Ultra Necrozma. I also set the Ultra Warp Ride to circle pad control with PKHeX, to avoid the initial forced motion control. main
  10. I somehow missed seeing this thread until today. Much thanks to you @Afepoke! It's always great seeing these rarities preserved.
  11. This is an idea I've had since last year after SM released, but I was hoping USUM would have the National Dex. Now that we know it doesn't, I've been thinking about it again. Since your save already registers all 807 seen/caught data, a patch would mostly be text based plus dex images, so I assume it'd be fairly easy. Otherwise, you'd just need replace the "Alola Pokedex" menu option, or somehow add a separate menu option(harder). I was thinking custom dex entries would be fun, but it'd require a lot more time and effort than just copying old entries. It'd have to be a group effort, but idk how much interest there'd be in this. We'd also need someone with the ability/knowledge to make an ips patch, who is willing. I've never done something like this, so I wouldn't have a clue how to start doing it myself.
  12. Apparently Gladion does appear for Title Defense, though it is apparently a very rare chance. Serebii confirms Gladion is a challenger. I had also read you need to beat Lusamine in a Title Defense and win 10 rounds with Lillie as a Battle Tree partner, both before you can face Gladion. However I don't know how accurate this is, so don't quote it as fact.
  13. Apparently new Totem-sized pokemon (Araquanid, etc) won't go in Bank, while the old ones (Raticate, etc) will. I don't know if this is an oversight or what.
  14. Well if it means anything, I dumped the Rockruff wc7fulls for my personal archives and used WFR Dumper without any problem.
  15. Besides the starter, I typically try to fill my team with pokemon I never used in a story-mode playthrough before. Decidueye (used in Sun) Malamar Slowbro Arcanine Crabrawler Noibat Of course, there's the possibility I'll swap in something different as I further progress. I'm thinking between Totem Kommo-o, Naganadel, and Dawn Wings Necrozma.
  16. I was just curious about the repeatable flag being removed for USUM. Then again, I forgot that wc7fulls are retrievable from the server without a code, so I wasn't really thinking straight.
  17. Does that mean the Celebi would be retrievable from the server? Because I have one or two unused codes(I'll donate it if necessary) I could dump the wc7full with, but I don't really want to risk going online before Friday and risk a 3DS ban.
  18. Looks like Adhesive/Poipole evolves to Naganadel like Inkay to Malamar, at least design wise. I wonder if it's triggered by the same mechanic? Anyway, I'm only greatly disappointed by the lack of NatDex, but I saw that coming tbh. Also could have used a few more UBs and/or Alolan forms, but I can live with that I guess. Glad UBs aren't shiny locked, as I had hoped. Though no excuse for Zygarde to STILL be shiny locked. New mythical and the third Necrozma form were expected, both look pretty cool. Odd how Ultra Necrozma sort of still resembles Dawn Wings, yet no features of Dusk Mane.
  19. Looks to me like the Ultra Space legends will be battled as soon as you enter the wormhole, just like the Hoopa portals in ORAS, as I feared. I should have expected it, but I am disappointed we don't get sent to a small part of Cerulean Cave, etc, for each legendary battle.
  20. With the cart finally being completely paid off as of a few hours ago, the savefile is now publicly available here. Special thanks to @HaxAras , @ajxpk , and everyone else who contributed to help pay for this near $1000 investment.
  21. Version 1.2

    14210 downloads

This page contains all publicly available savefiles that were dumped from original FireRed carts, which were used to distribute MYSTRY Mew by direct trade. The distribution took place at Toys R Us stores in the United States on 30 November 2006, for only three hours from 12 - 3 pm. Each savefile is credited to who supplied it online. The recently acquired savefile that provided the missing remainder of the boxed 420 Mews is credited to PP.org, for appreciation to the group effort of those that helped obtain and pay for it. The 426 individual .pk3 files can be found here.
  22. Exactly what I was thinking. Sounds about right considering that's fairly common to up the value of rarities. I find it hard to believe someone paid 2k this quickly, when other GBA carts have sat at lower prices for weeks.
  23. I replaced the images in my first post with the original, non-enlarged screenshots due to anti-aliasing and for archival accuracy.
